This place is fabulous! Right in the middle of town, you can walk to restaurants and the beach. Rooms were spacious and very clean, well taken care of. Balcony was lovely! Brandon and Jason were great with all of our questions and were very helpful with local knowledge. Very happy and will be returning!

My husband and I a great time here! The staff was super attentive and helpful. We had been planning to stay in town for months but were a little unhappy with some of the other options. But Pier View definitely gave us the honeymoon stay we wanted. Gorgeous views from the balcony, super comfy beds (I want to buy that type of mattress for myself! ), and very clean. Better than we expected for sure. The manager we spoke most to, Brandon Gendvilas, was really helpful and answered our call any time of the night, and gave us some great recommendations around town. I felt we may have been too bothersome, but he was super sweet. Highly recommend staying here if you're a fan of the beach, gorgeous romantic views from your room, friendly staff, and clean and comfy rooms with cute interiors!

Very poor customer service. Brandon who "helped" us was awful. The place was falsely advertised. Do not waist your money. Very dirty, small room with bad smell. When u shower, the water goes every where. Don't ruin ur vacation here. Never come back here.

This place treats customers like animals and give you the run-around when you ask for anything. The manager Brandon would not accommodate for a broken barbeque grill. This place is not worth the money. Go somewhere else.

I have been wanting to stay here for a few years. Booked a two bedroom suite for me and family. Great holiday get away. Weather was great, view from balcony was outstanding. Staff friendly. Even though they had workers painting the building when I arrived, they made the cleanup with little distraction. Look forward to coming back.

This place is very nice, with the best balcony in Cayucos. It seems like they are in the process of upgrading the facility which will make it even better. I highly recommend it.

The room was extremely dirty, the door knobs don’t work. You have to padlock the rooms. Our comforter had a huge hole and there were feathers all over. The knob you pull up to take a shower does not pull up so you get a small amount of water. We paid $400.00 for one night and it was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. The room was maybe worth $100.00. I would never recommend this place. There is never anyone at the front desk to help you, you have to call them and they come from their home. We had to wait an hour for someone to arrive just so we could check in. Very poor customer service. The room was extremely small and nothing like the pictures. We saw the pictures online and that’s what made us want to stay. Awful!

I got ready here for my wedding day and had the first night with my husband here. To say they were accommodating would be an understatement they went above and beyond. Shout out to Jason who went out of his way to know we were being taken care of.

Exceptional everything! The best is sunset, radically different every day.

We had a great stay! The suite was large and comfy. The Cayucos Suite exceeded my expectations. Pricey… a little… but… worth it by all means. The little extras, like the area we could give our puppy a proper rinse after a run on the beach was greatly appreciated. We saved money by making a couple of meals in the well appointed kitchen. We had a ball, thanks to all the staff who always asked if we needed anything. … we will be back… mahalo!

Great place! I have stayed here twice and have never been disappointed. When I look at the reviews I could believe the low stars. Then I realized 3 people gave it a poor rating on the same day. The things people will do…

A beautiful location and exceptional staff!

Just finished an amazing time celebrating my 30th at the coast while staying in the Chateau suite at this very cool boutique hotel. The room was beautiful, very relaxing and a perfect location to everything. The staff was very friendly and Jason H was great! Super accommodating and friendly! I will definitely B Back! :D.

We Went On A Lil Get Away For The Weekend, We Stayed Here And I Must Say It Was The Best Place To Stay Thus Far. I Have Zero Complaints About This Place, Jason Was Extremely Courteous And Went The Extra Mile To Make Sure Our Stay Was Perfect.
We Bar B Que'd On The Patio, Sat And Relaxed On The Beautiful Balcony, Breathless View Of The Ocean And The Sun Set Was Priceless.! Words Can't Explain Just How Great Of A Weekend We Had Thanks To Jason Our Cleaning Lady (Please Forgive Me, I Can't Remember Her Name) And Of Course Pier View Suites.!

Stayed here for our honeymoon and Jason made sure we had a fabulous time. Quite area, gorgeous suite, stunning view and so much more! We highly recommend staying here to anyone! Can't wait to come back every year for our anniversary! Thank you Jason for making sure everything was perfect for us!

While you as a long-time Californian can most likely put Cayucos on the map, I had no idea this tiny, sleepy beach town on the Central Coast even existed until TripAdvisor suggested Pier View Suites as a place to stay for a quick weekend away from San Francisco. About 4 hours away from SF, and about 2.5 from LA. Pretty much central. 4 stars definitely for the location — although the hotel is located on the (quiet) main street every apartment has beach views from a semi-private patio. I really enjoyed the lounge-style love seat on the patio. 4 stars for the hotel itself — you won't get a room, you'll get an apartment including a kitchen and a jacuzzi bathtub, lots of natural light and a very friendly and bright colors. The only downer is the fact that they only have queen size beds in some rooms — for the crazy amount of ~$300/night you can expect a decently sized bed at least. My recommendation is to only book at Pier View Suites if they have apartments with king size beds. If not, skip.

We were very happy with our experience in the California suite! Fire place, jacuzzi, full kitchen, comfortable bed and a balcony lounge with a beautiful view. My husband and I frequently visit cayucus and loved our stay so much we booked our room for two more visits. We would highly recommend this place again. The staff was great and we had a great mini getaway!

We strayed in their large suite. It is very spacious. Two rooms, living room, full kitchen. The whole room has an Asian decor. It's right across from the beach. All of the restaurants and shops are waking distance. The wine tasting bas/bistro next door (Full Moon) is amazing. The is a coffee and pastry shop downstairs and a small yoga and martial arts studio.

This place was the perfect little surfer village on the coast. The oriental suite has amazing views, is very clean and had everything you need for a proper relaxing weekend getaway. Great food steps away. Ill come back here.
