The rooms are nice and clean with great amenities. More than anything I had a cold this trip and the staff in the restaurant were kind enough to get me complementary tea bags along with honey and lemon without even asking for all that… I just wanted to buy a tea bag. It made my stay!

Rooms stunk really bad. They moved me to basically the same room on the next level that smelled a bit better. They are under complete construction right now. The only people that should stay here are the ones that get the new King sized bed rooms. Other than that no jacuzzi just a pool. Pretty bummed that I stayed here. I with I would have looked around for better hotels. I feel like you should disclose to people when you're hotel is under renovation. Its not fair to the guests. Not happy at all.

The hotel is undergoing renovation but other than that the stay was amazing with kind people working the front desk. The rooms were comfy, no smell and beds were amazing one downside is that there were not any microwaves in the room.

Currently being renovated. Room price was reasonable, but restaurant was not open. Had to eat in the bar, but the food was decent.

Good location and the parking lot was large enough for the hotel. The room was very comfortable and no issues with housekeeping. Too close to drive, too far to walk from the BART station and a shuttle would have been appreciated.

That hotel was in restructuration and makes my stay not as enjoyable as expected considering it cost over $250 for a Tuesday. The breakfast is quiet expensive (17 for the buffet but they didn't told me getting a 15$ plus the coffee would cost me quite way… Thanks) and the coffee is not complimentary. The pool was closed for some reason. Not that it's a bummer but there a banner advertising 3$ fidget spinner on the street in the hotel which makes us thing the hotel thing interesting I this hotel is those stupid fidget spinner. The people were quite friendly and I really don't have nothing to say about them, they were helpful and very understandable.

Service was ok but the first room my mom, 4 year old daughter and myself were placed in had extremely loud construction going on. After a 5+ hours drive you can only guess how tried. A very nice woman from the front desk came up and moved us 2 our second room. Although the room was nice, we had problems with the our key card not working 4 separate times. The manager was kind enough to provide us with a breakfast voucher. We did go swimming which was great. But when returning to our room I asked a woman from house keeping on our floor for new towels and was quickly rejected. Lastly, the breakfast was somewhat old. My suggestion is to request a room away from construction, take your towels to the front desk after swimming and get to breakfast as early as possible.

I've stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years. While the facilities are old they have been clean. The last two times (Feb/Mar) I've stayed, there has definitely been a decrease in cleanliness and general condition of the rooms and common areas.

This hotel was probably awesome in 1982. It's undergoing Renovations but I don't know that there's much hope. It's a very nice hotel albeit very old and a bit run down. I had a funny experience I was in room 332, and I went up the elevator to the third floor where the rooms only went to 330. Apparently they consider the hotel to be multiple buildings with the numbering scheme the same on each. The breakfast was pretty marginal the lounge area was pretty boring and dark. At $200 plus a night they really have a lot of renovations to go to make it worthwhile.

Newly remodeled, it is beautiful. We were there for a bible meeting. Loved the new restrooms & meeting rooms.

The venue here was sweet like honey. I loved it like a fat kid loves cake. Thanks and have a good day.

Close to plenty of good places to eat. Room was ok but I did see a mouse 2 of the 4 nights I stayed. Housekeeping was subpar and parking was a pain.

The hotel is regular, but to be a hotel premium IHG leaves to be desired much of their buffet breakfast, I've had better at the Holidayinn express.

Clean, comfortable room. Location close to BART, convenient. Friendly staff. Would stay again.

A place very cozy and a very particular attention in the restaurant.

Rooms were fine. HOWEVER, in total we booked 3 rooms. 2 of those rooms had a RAT running around the bathroom and into the room. When you speak to the cleaning staff, no one speaks English. Our room was cleaned and they conveniently forgot to give toilet paper and new toiletries. I guess they expect us to shower with just water like the old days. Breakfast was ordinary. All in all, this is a below average hotel in the area. Will not stay again in the future.

The room was adequately clean, but the whole place at first smelled of a powerful cleaning solution that makes you wonder what was being cleaned. Comfortable beds and the bathroom was clean, though again the water glasses tasted of a lemon scented cleaner at first. My biggest complaint would be with the sound between the walls. I could hear clearly every yawn, burp, and snore of the person next door who unfortunately also seemed to be dealing with a stomach bug and so kept the TV on, albeit quietly, until 3am. The walls seem to be paper thin. Probably also worth mentioning the 'gym' which I think was in a temporary location just off the lobby and had a treadmill and two bikes and that's it. Looks like they're in the midst of renos though so that should improve. One other minor issue would be the breakfast buffet which is fine, at $17 a person it's only a half step up from the kind of thing you'd probably find for free in other hotels.

Great staff and cozy old school rooms. This was my first time in a Crown Plaza and I plan to return. Price was very reasonable compared to surrounding hotels.

Overpriced. Basic rooms but over 200 per night. Breakfast was poor. Nothing else to say about it, no real complaints, just below average — I would give it 2.5 stars if I could.

Management's not on the ball. The hotel is full this weekend, yet the one ATM is out of cash and won't be serviced until sometime next week. It's the sort of property that doesn't seem to have much business and on the rare occasions they do, they are overwhelmed. Everybody seems half asleep. The room is decent. Food in the restaurant is Ok.

Attended a dinner dance here several times already and I like how the ballroom is laid out — very spacious! I also liked the indoor garden and fountain by the swimming pool area. So calming.

Only went to the meeting lobby but noticed it could be split into 3 sections. It's nice and has 6 exits when turned to one big room. Three paintings on one side while to other side had 4 the stage was small.

I stayed at this hotel and my experience was horrifying! At 3:30 am my door opened and someone came in. I woke up and asked what's up it was security and when asked what the hell they were doing the response was he was supposed to clean the room for another customer. What I asked at 3:30 the morning? security not house keeping. WITHOUT KNOCKING OR ANNONCING HIS ENTERING? He was about 2 feet from my money and personal stuff on the dresser. He apologized and left. I never went back to sleep. I reported it to the desk they said they knew about it and the management would call but its been two weeks and I have no explanation. I believe if I did not wake up I would have been robbed! will never stay again and recommend everyone beware.

Excellent place. So much for rest as for special events only how global vision can gather so many leaders. Nothing more of northern California.

I am simply never that impressed with this hotel. It's nice enough. Good location, sort of. You just expect more from the name. This is an older Crowne. The rooms are spacious. The staff does their job. The pool is dated.

The hotel was much nicer than expected. The room looked like they had been recently updated. We were excited there was a bar on site since it wasn't really safe walking distance to anything at night. The bartender Paul was friendly and fun to talk with. I would definitely come back again. The only down side was to the hotel was the location of the room. I woke up in the middle of the night to lots of noise. I couldn't tell if it was traffic or a train. Next time I will request a room on the other side of the hotel.

We booked a last minute stay at the Crowne Plaza. The rooms were exactly what you would expect for a business hotel in Union City. What made the stay special was the bartender working at the bar. He was super friendly and funny. We stayed longer at the bar then we planned as he was so engaging.

Very good hotel. Lovely breakfast. Great location. The room was clean and big. Very nice staff. Higly recommend.

I enjoy this hotel and have been here before but this time I got upset a bit over the charge of $4 for a cup of coffee, mainly the way the desk clerk handled my request. She was doing her job however with an unplesant attitude. This morning I paid the 4$ and the young man at the cafe was so pleasant and congenial that he more than made up for her attitude and he had no knowledge of my previous conversation. Would I stay again YES Beautiful Swimming pool. Nice rooms and mostly friendly staff.

Rooms themselves are not that bad. Front desk staff was nice. My issue is with amenities. There are no microwaves in the rooms. They want you to eat at their restaurant. Where everything is over priced for less than mediocre food. Oh and the elevators sound like they need to be taken out of service.

Let me start off by saying that the staff are always great at this hotel. I have never had any issue they didn't quickly resolve. The rooms are decently clean, (slightly more-so would make this a 4 star), and the common areas are acceptable. They are currently remodeling and it will be exciting to see the changes once they are finished.

It's a little worn and frayed at the edges, but the bed is nice and there's free parking and good water pressure.

Had a meeting here. There were cockroaches in the room we used. In the coffee machine they wheeled in, and there was one in a lunch that was brought in. Really really gross.

The rooms were nice. The entire hotel smelled nice. Parking was a little tricky when I returned late at night and my key didn't let me access the south side of the property and as a result I had to walk through the parking lot alone at night in the door. They have a proposed remodeling so hopefully it will be nicer when they are done. Convenient bar and restaurant on site. Good location to freeway.

The hotel used to the National People's Congress. The bed was pretty comfortable. Facilities comparison old. First night landing in San Francisco place to live.

What a difference 7 months make. My husband and I were treated royally from the front desk staff to the barman in the lounge Valentine's Day Weekend. What better place to go for our anniversary, right? WRONG! People at the front desk looked at us without speaking. Different barman — no acknowledgment of our presence. 15 minutes later — still nothing but the musty smell of the hotel. Never again!
