Very Clean and comfortable rooms and property. Good morning coffee due to the auto coffee maker. Best part is I bring my small pet to work with me at times and this hotel is pet friendly with a reasonable pet fee. I Thank You Best Western Plus for being such a great place for me and my pet while I work.

Great location and clean rooms — close to Santa Cruz and easy to get to. Comfy beds and good hot continental breakfast.

We have been coming here for quite a few years. It is always clean and tidy. The employees have been very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is nice and have little extras every morning. The hot tub is awesome and very nice to come back to after a long day at the Boardwalk. The front desk have gone out of their way anytime we have asked them.

This is really the best western hotel. Every single employee we talked to from day one till we left were so nice and friendly. I love watching the singing employee who served us one breakfast morning. She even went extra by serving us hot food though we were a little bit late. Our room was one of the best one; it's overlooking the waterfront and the air plains coming and going. What a beautiful location to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you for making us feel special.

My only complaint is the shower head. It's not bad, I just don't like the spray. Everything else is great. This is the best Best Western grounds we've stayed at, well kept & very pretty. The employees are friendly & helpful. The room was ready when we arrived & very clean. We needed a pull out bed for the first night & it was in the room when we got there & was promptly removed the next day. The room was spacious and the king bed & pillows were very comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again.

Only average and a 30% overpriced. Hot tub was the highlight. Parking is very tight and ridiculous to be honest.

Very comfortable but ask for a room far from pool, got a bit noisy in evening. Great location.

The manager called the cops and forced my girlfriend and I out after getting upset that two different employees told us we could pay for another day through a credit card release form over the phone. The manager told us to go to a different hotel because he would not help us, then he said some very sexist remarks to my girlfriend and racists remark to myself. Staff was incredibly rude and uniformed. Manager even stated that they cant hire new people because no one in town wants to work there. Save yourself some stress and book somewhere else.

Fan in bathroom made alot of noize, and the water tastes ickey. Great houskeepers, great food and great employees tho! And they are renovating, so it can only get better! Love Best Western Hotels!

I was an overnight business guest here and it was great. Quiet, comfortable and clean. The breakfast is hot with plenty of options. The neighborhood is good. The staff is helpful and friendly. The price is very good compared to everything comparable in San Jose. The surroundings are beautiful.

I do enjoying staying at the Best Western in Scotts Valley. It is close enough to Santa Cruz to enjoy all the benefits of the beach town, but away from the bustle and noise. The staff is friendly and the location is easy to find.

BWScotts Valley is a good place to stay when visiting Santa Cruz. Its only about 10 min from UCSC and is clean and comfortable. They offer a free breakfast with bread items along with warm dishes of eggs and sausage. Kids loved the waffle maker and add ins for oatmeal and yogurt. For the price this place was much better than any comparables in Santa Cruz itself. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean as well. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. Only complaint is the lack of restaurants nearby. Pretty much limited to fast food.

My husband and I reserved 2 nights at this hotel. We got in late and that night I noticed a strange smell in the room but thought maybe it was coming in from outside. The next morning we got up and went out, when we returned after lunch the smell had gotten stronger. We notified the front desk and they came up and confirmed that there was something smelly on the carpet behind the nightstand. They checked to see if we could change rooms but said they were almost full so all they could offer was some carpet deodorizer and a discount. We left, they deodorized the carpet, and when we came back the room smelled strongly of carpet powder but was at least bearable to finish the stay after we aired it out for about 30 minutes. I was very disappointed when we checked out and the discount was not applied as offered. The stinky room had definitely put a damper on our weekend getaway, and although it was not the hotel's fault that someone had left something on the carpet, our experience was definitely not as relaxing as we had hoped because of it.

Room was disgusting-wreaked of smoke, pubes in the bed and shower, dust/dirt caked into the carpet at the base of the night stands, asked for cleaning service 3 times and nobody every came. Asked for a different room and was laughed at. After checking out, got charged a ridiculous cleaning fee. The only answer they gave? Smoking fee! I don't effing smoke! Now they won't return my calls to get this fixed. Never had a worse experience at a hotel or motel and I've stayed in some pretty dive places where crack pipes were hidden in the pillows and a man was found dead… They had better service than this sh*thole!

We have stayed here in the past when we have come for Thomas the Train and had a comfortable stay and the staff was very nice. This visit was for my husband and I to have a little overnight getaway. We stayed in a junior suite and it was very nice and loved the spa/bathtub.
Staff was very nice and friendly.
We definitely recommend staying here and we will be staying here for our next visit.

It right across from the condos, where I live so people that come to visit really like it. It very convent to down town and in the middle of beautiful mountain.

Clean, nice, nice breakfast. The Wi-Fi was a little slow. We liked the business center. The parking places are very small.

Best! best western I've stayed in… Room was clean breakfast was good will defiantly stay here again on my family vacation … can say only issue I had was getting a parking spot at night.
