Clean, quiet and the price is right. The owner goes out of his way to do the best job he can with this older motel and it's very convenient to downtown Weed.

Very frustrating experience with the management team. I noted on the online application (5 Days out) that we would be checking in late (between 11pm and 12). No call or No email to let us know that that would be a problem. I called the night we were driving up (4 hours before arrival) and told them our updated arrival time — midnight. They said no way for us to help, too later e. “We must cancel your reservation”. Refused to work with us (no hidden key or problem solving). Left us in a bind the night of… make sure you check in early or just go to motel6 (thankful they still had space)

Do not stay here. My fiancé & I stopped in Weed on our drive from Los Angeles, CA to Portland, OR on 12/01/17. We asked for a smoking room, just because it was way too cold to step outside to smoke, as we normally do. The owner/clerk had two smoking rooms out of the 10 to 12 rooms. He refused to give us the downstairs smoking room, claiming it was occupied, it wasn't. He gave us the 2nd floor smoking room except the heater didn't work. He claimed the portable electric heater would heat up the room. It never did. We had arrived in Weed at around 11 PM and by the time we realized the room was never going to heat up, it was past midnight. Lobby was closed and he never answered the night bell. I was only hoping for an extra blanket. I mean, we could see our breaths in the room it was so cold. We froze that night. In the morning, he didn't open the office till after 10 AM. There was no continental breakfast. He didn't even make coffee in the lobby. When I told him that I had observed he only had 3 rooms rented last night and didn't have to put us in a room with no heat, he showed not one ounce of sympathy. He simply said that he rents this room out all the time with the portable heater no problem. We didn't even want our money back, just a key to a different room so that at least we could take showers in a room with a heater. He denied us that request. Worst experience ever. Do not stay here.

The bed was not too comfy. But overall I think it's a good deal. You get what you paid for.

The Townhouse Motel was very clean quiet, was very impressed! From the looks of it from THE OUTSIDE looks kind of … but once u open the door to the room VERY VERY NICE furniture headboardcnite stand an TV stand are matching curtain an bedspread matching I loved it an will stay agsin when passing thru.

After seeing the rooms at motel 6 this was a breath of fresh air… literally. The rooms were very clean and had been remodeled recently. The owner/manager immediately recognized our plight when we informed him that we had just been at Motel 6 and gave us the room above his he generally reserved for his family for a discounted rate. The room was small but cozy, with a separate room for our teenage son. A small refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave was included. Bathroom was immaculate and fully stocked. Parking was tight in the main lot but overflow parking was ample. The hotel was centrally located, within a short walk of shops, restaurants, and coffee houses. Definitely coming back whenever we are in the Shasta/Weed area.

Clean and convenient to access to town center. They have shower with tab. The town is calmer than Mt. Shasta, I love it.

We quickly chose a place to stay the night, and I don't feel we could have been any luckier. The room was clean, the bathroom is quite nice, it looked recently remodeled. Rooms get kind of stuffy because of the lack of ventilation, but the small, loud a. C. Unit did the job. I heard almost nothing from neighbors. Extremely simple, best bang for your buck. Do yourself a favor and rest easy here.

This was an acceptable hotel. It had all the things I was looking for, which was a bed and shower. The bed wasn't super comfortable, but it was fine.

This place is awesome. After spending a night in an uncomfortable bed at a previous Motel 6, my mom and I decided to try the Townhouse Motel instead. The price for one queen bed at Motel 6 was $43.99, and the price for one queen bed here was $49.99. I would have paid double that to stay here again. The motel owner was so sweet. While we were finishing up checking in, he swapped out our keys and upgraded us to a king bed for free. The bed was comfortable, the sheets and blankets were soft, and the room heater worked very well. The bathrooms were big and clean, and the shower was wonderful. There is a tube TV, a microwave, a fridge, a desk, coffee, and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom comes stocked with shampoo, soaps, and a shower cap. We loved this place, and for the price, it was definitely a steal.

Its not bad… I would stay a night there probably no more than that tho

Clean rooms laid back front desk guy, it's a hard toss up between staying here and at the hi lo.

Great spot for a quick overnight stay. Had a smallish room with two full beds. Comfortable enough in a quiet little town.

We have stayed here maybe 4 times. Its our go to spot when we travel to California from Washington. The only problem I ever had was when we had my husband's service dog with us. The older guy, I'm assuming the manager, was very rude about it. The dog stayed in the van with the windows down a bit the whole night. The manager asked my 12 year old son if it was his dog and he said no, it's my dad's. Well he came out and told me my son lied and that it was our dog. I had to clear things up and explain. But he was still rude none the less. Other than that, room was clean and the place is quiet. Its a good cheap place to sleep. But I wouldn't stay more than one night. You get what you pay for.

Good place to stay in Weed.

Im from VA and have stayed here twice. Family owned, theyre such sweet people. Awesome customer service, super clean room, perfect location, and for a great price… couldnt ask for more.

Everything would have been much better if the heating unit hadn't been so noisy. I only recommend this hotel for summer travelers.

The bath tube is nice and there's a microwave, more TV channels, @ $68 it's more than the HiLo Motel @58 dollars but I like the extras as mentioned plus the view outside the room.

Kind, courteous staff. Clean room. Very good bargain with good Wi-Fi, refrig microwave. Everything works.

Like a European traveler's hotel: clean and basic, a welcoming innkeeper — all at a great price. I regularly drive between Southern California and the Seattle area. Always get a great night's rest — quiet despite being just off the main road into town. Convenient spot for breakfast nearby. An absolute highlight is just how clean and well maintained the Townhouse Motel is — a great find whether you're a looking for a convenient stop while traveling or there to explore the Mt. Shasta area. Nice size fridge, microwave and coffeemaker, excellent Wi-Fi, dresser (but no closet) and no phone, tasteful updated basic decor and fixtures all work great — highlighted by spotlessly clean/fresh rooms. Rooms are a bit smaller than some of the chains, but if you're there to get some good rest you found the right place.

I have used this place several times. It has improved and my last 3 stays have pleasantly surprised me. In the winter the rooms are nice and warm. I will continue to use it when I need a place in weed.

This town was half way for our trip. The counter person was very helpful. Quick check in. The room we had, had a view of the snow covered Mt Shasta. The room itself was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. On the way home, we stayed there again. Same room. Same results. If we ever go back, we will stay here again.

Their website says that they are pet friendly, and that small pets are welcome. I called to make sure I could bring my dog. He is 28 lbs. The receptionist told me that was too big. Then he asked what kind of dog it was, and I told him I have a corgie datschund mix and he said "we don't take that kind of dog. " Bummer.

Pros: Clean rooms, free internet, easy access to food and gas. Cons: Old construction, squiks as ppl upstairs walk. Heater was too loud and the shower was pathetic.
