El Dorado Motel Inn

So my fiancee and I stayed here in the beginning of augest. Legit had great memorys here (hot tub and deer eating apples off the tree in the parking lot). Mark (think his name was) was a great host. He helped and printed directions out for us and also made sure we always had what we needed every time we saw him. Along with his Young hard working son in tow just equally enthusiastic (great to see them with good employees). If your coming up for A trip and want to just relax and not worry about anything just come here. Ps its location is like a great home base to go exploring. Old Columbia and moaning caverns one way, pinecrest and ski resort another both about 20 mins. Also it is good price. Thats my 2 cents.

The manager was extremely welcoming and hospitable recommending things to do in the area etc. Me and my friend have travelled a lot around the world and this was one of the best American experiences we’ve had so far. If Yosemite is too crowded just stay here!

My favorite motel in contra Costa county… very clean quiet and staff is very nice and helpful I would give 6 stars if I could.

Positive: 1. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. 2. Rooms were clean. Negative: 1. Bed was very hard. Tried both beds. My wife and I both woke up with our backs hurting both nights. 2. Since you can, t get a cell phone signal, Wi-Fi is important. Found the Internet to be very very slow. Made "dial up" seem like high speed.

Motel very simpa a very warm welcome with plenty of room information and very simpa little simpa snag the Wi-Fi but I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The motel is in a beautiful location. Imet with the oweners (a couple who runs it) they were extremely polite and courteous. They asked me several time to let them know if there is anything else that could better my stay. Rooms were clean, free of smell, it had everything you need if you were travelling.

Cheap budget motel that is decent and fairly clean for what it is. Staff was friendly, bed was ok and place was actually fairly quiet. Price was more than reasonable. No real complaints.

This is one of the friendliest places I have stayed at in some time very clean quite. I travel for work with my dump truck beautiful setting. The owners are very helpful stayed up to check me in around 2am so I could get some rest before work.

The staff at the Eldorado motel are fantastic people. My family and I had found ourselves in a housing crisis because of the enormous cost of living in the area. So we checked into this motel on a weekly pay basis. They have been so accomidating and most of all. They are very kind and understanding of our situation. The rooms are always clean and in Great working order. I am so grateful to have met and frankly, become good friends with Noor and His wonderful wife Rhuksi! If you choose a motel for one day or for an extended stay. This is the place!

Rooms were clean and warm (snow outside). The couple who are managing the place are very careful. We were welcomed very warmly in the middle of the night without any reservations in advance, got anything asked for and even more!

I have stayed at this place twice over the past couple of years. My recent visit was for ski trip. They have a new owner and new managers. The couple managing the place are very nice, friendly and accommodating. For example, on my check-in day the weather was bad and I was affraid I'll arrive late and the office is going to be closed, I made a call and they made sure that I'll be able check in. Although this is not a fancy hotel, I noticed significant improvement compared to last year and the rooms are neat and clean. My suggestion is to upgrade the beds and mattresses. I'll recommend the place.

The new owners are so friendly and helpfull. As I understood it, they recently purchased the motel and anticipate all the updating and renovating the motel needs but my room was filthy. I had requested a pet friendly room, and I understand maybe a little dog hair on the carpet but the smell of old cigarettes, burn marks on the bathroom floor and years of grime on the walls was disgusting. I bought antibacterial wipes to clean the walls, bathroom floor and shower.

Proprietor goes out of their way to make sure you're comfortable.

This place was very accommodating when we were traveling with our dog. Its not a five star hotel but they were clean and comfortable.

It's quiet and clean and they have so many channels to chose from on t. V. I'd stay here again and I'd definitly recommended anyone to stay here as well.

Comfy beds really pet friendly for only 15$ a night great service friendly service the best I could have hoped for for my family they are very good at hospitality and the room was huge high tech with a flat screen and HBO showers slightly small but huge bathroom and it's very homey.

When we first got there thought it was gonna be decent but I was wrong. The rooms are out dated and smelled really bad. The blankets seamed clean but the sheets were stained and dirty. Their was a full kitchen we couldn't use. As we tried settling in we notice cockroaches coming out from the stove. Couldnt sleep because of the noisy appliances. For a city were it gets cold and snows our thermostat wouldn't go higher then 68 degrees. The heater barely worked as it is. The next morning at check out I let them know about the roaches. She then said the roaches came out because we were cooking. We had nothing to cook or lett alone to cook with. So then shes says goodbye and didn't reimburse me anything. I paid 95 dollars for rouch infested dump. This place should be shut down and condemned.

This place is small but a diamond in the rough. With my family comes to see me from out of town this is where we always stay. Completely safe for my three-year-old son, In the management/owner is very nice and welcoming.

The property is located in a residential neighborhood. The rooms are clean and bathrooms are modern. The motel is a family run buss.

This place is a Diamond in the rough, Found this place on the accident And we need a hotel this is my go to spot. The owners are very polite and friendly, In the housekeepers are hard working and attentive. Very quiet all through the night even on weekends, And having no Problem With loud or rude neighbors. It's a very small Motel so there's only so many parking spots available. In my point of view 5 stars.

Not bad for low budget. No bugs that I've found. Management isn't real pleasant. Washer and dryer on site. Satellite TV. Anything you could possibly need can be found nearby on Railroad Ave.

The location is OK. Cleanliness — It's hard to get worse! The equipment is extremely outdated – also for a motel!

I guess it's clean. Location is good. Super close to several dining options. Pretty run down tho, not updated, Archie Bunker chair in room. Television was pretty good, and the have lots of channels including HBO.

The Queen bed was very comfortable, the room was spotless and the location very convenient. We were able to have a lovely dinner in down town Twain Harte then a yummy coffee at cutest Blossom coffee house. Not fancy but quaint, clean, and very accommodating. For the price you really cannot beat it!

Rooms are cozy and clean, staff was friendly and helpful pointing out good locations to visit and things to do on request. Shower had a wide range of heat options, and the head was pleasant enough. Would highly recommend for individuals looking for a good alternative to a chain hotel.

I've stayed there since 2014 to date. It's a nice little motel, everyone is friendly, the rooms are clean. There's been continuous updates, upgrades to the rooms in the time I've stayed there There's little parking available, but then it's a small place. Very quiet, I haven't heard of any thefts, so yes I recommend it as a quiet out of the way place. The one thing about it, the Wi-Fi sucks. Jim.

This is the best and cleanest motel in Pittsburg. No bed bugs, no infestations, the cleaning service is great and consistent and the management is very accommodating. Great place to stay!

I just freaking love them.

Look… this place isn't fancy by any standards. Pretty basic "motel" with only 14 rooms. Bed was clean and cozy. Bathroom was clean too. Shower was a bit on the older side. I brought Clorox wipes with me and wiped down any surface I could clean. A bit pricey for the room ($150) for a 2 queen bed room. The price should have been more like $50-70 range but I guess the owners also need to make a living. Wish this town had more hotel and motel chains to choose from.

Very well maintained and clean motel. Nice TVs with plenty of satellite channels. Internet was actually high speed, and allowed for almost all of my internet needs. Price was very reasonable and staff was very friendly and helpful. One star deducted because this L shape motel caused a lack of parking spots and made leaving throughout the day a toss up if you would have a spot to park when you came back, and the Wi-Fi although included with the room, was via login password for 3 hours at a time, router was Hit and miss at times because of distance to rooms and at times unavailable. Plus with internet via satellite the quick speeds were intermittent with short pauses of nothingness every few minutes. However the downsides of the Wi-Fi allowed for faster surfing then most motels and parking is a problem everywhere in the area. Altogether great stay! Only Motel I would think about staying at.

Stayed there for a while the owners very friendly I enjoyed there clean quiet rooms and service. Priced right would definitely recommend.

Management cared about me and gave a map of the nearby city and what it has to offer. The room is cozy, clean, and lots of TV channels. Shower was a little dirty and low flowing. Hotel was very cheap and well worth the money. I will stay there again if I'm in the area.

My husband Jehova and I have been staying here for the last 3-4yrs, when were in town. Very clean, quite, the rooms are decorated nicely makes you feel cozy. Most of all were able to sleep comfortable, not having to worry about our truck or anything else being broke in to. Their room rates are affordable also.

Best bang for the buck! Would pay $5 more to be here, over motel 6, any day.

The only way this hotel has high reviews is because the owners themselves give ratings. I've never stayed at such a dirty hotel. There was dry semen stuck to the headboard of the bed (not a small amount either), the room smelled like fungus, the mattresses were heavily stained with urine, the shower wasn't even cleaned, and we left with bed bugs. Not to mention the owners were very unfriendly to my husband, sister, and I. The guy who owns the place walked by our window after we stayed the night and just stood there watching my sister and I for several minutes while he was in his bathrobe. He was only about a foot from the window! Creepy! I had to ask my husband to close the blinds because he did it several times (to EVERYONES window too). We checked the undersides of the blankets and "clean" sheets to see that they were also stained, smelled musty, and had hairs on them. Pretty sure they don't even wash their sheets between guests. The owner is the person who cleans the whole hotel because they haven't hired anyone else to clean. The walls and doors are brown and sticky. Be aware of the good posts, I'm convinced they are fake. I am a nurse and KNOW a clean hotel when I see one. It's also worth mentioning that there were 2 prostitutes who were at the hotel too. Although I think they were guests, it just made me think it's not a safe or decent place for kids. Look elsewhere before staying here. I almost slept in my car after waking up itchy several times.

Out of all the motels/hotels in the area, this one is the best. It's quiet, friendly customer service, rates are reasonable, and the the overall environment of the room is pretty awesome. Free Wi-Fi, it's clean, and they got flat screen TV's! I enjoyed my stay at this Motel.

A lot less expensive than staying in Sonora. Half the price with a lot more attention from new owners. They are in the middle of a remodel and will do everything to see that you are comfortable. In fact they treat you like royalty. Great people! I will stay here again.

As the previous reviewer mentioned, we learned from the hosts that the motel was under new management. We stayed there on June 6 weekend on our way to Mono Lake. The rooms were clean and the hosts were very attentive. The kids had a lot of fun in the pool. It was a very quiet place and we relaxed having a late lunch on the porch. For dinner we walked to downtown (about 5 minutes) for Pizza, followed by miniature golf. I would recommend this place.
