Staff was great. I am disabled and they were very nice and helpful to me. They treated me like a VIP. My room was perfect, clean, well taken care of. It was also very quiet. I had a great night's sleep, and I will definitely be back.

Everything was fine except the one thing I enjoy the most… Coffee. Yuck! I hate powder creamer. The coffee sucked. I love coffee, that was disappointing. I never went back for more. Fix that and I'll go back. Friendly employees, good clean room.

A 5-star value! This is a basic, clean, mostly quiet motel in the East Bay. I stayed for one night, for less than $80. For what it is, it is an outstanding value. My only complaint was a lack of towels… which I discovered after I had showered. Staff promptly brought me towels and left them outside the door. 4-star rating reflects that it is still a budget hotel.

Rafina, made my stay with M6, the most enjoyable. She made me feel welcomed and at home. She is kind, very Professional. I moved here from Dallas TX. She was so very positive telling me that I would find a job soon and to be positive, everything was going to be fine. Well, it took me only one week to find a new job. I love this Lady. She poses outer and inner beauty. Thank you Rafina — — I will miss you.

I am very satisfied in our room because it is clean, neat and fresh. The staffs are friendly and approachable even the general manager. Plus factor is, there are restaurants near the hotel. Indeed an awesome stay.

The staff was pleasant, but everything else was very disappointing. The room was not particularly dirty, but the room (the balcony/walkway outside the room) reeked of cigarette smoke and our hair, skin and EVERYTHING we wore or had in the room (even if it never came out of our suitcases) still stinks of smoke 2 days later. The heater did not work and the room was very cold all night long — we slept in jeans, shirts AND sweatshirts and wool socks IN JUNE. The few towels seemed damp and the bed squeaked. There were no tissues, hairdryer nor refrigerator. There was no parking. I have stayed in this location before — in 2016 and it was fine. This was a HUGE disappointment especially for 1.75 times the price of the last stay.

The room was dirty. There was long black hair in tub, on TV table, and on sink. I wiped water up off of floor after shower with a white towel and the towel turned black. There was mold on the ceiling above tub. The rack that holds the towels was very dusty and dirty in side. I have snap shots of the problem areas on my phone. I am a 68 yr old male with short white hair and no one was with me, the room had not been cleaned in a long time, just surface clean and changed the sheets. Larry.

The beds were comfortable but the pillows were too big. Motel 6 should have one large and one small pillow on every bed. They did not have 2 beds in any handicapped room. I can't imagine that. How often to handicapped ppl travel with an assistant? The showed did not have any grab bars or a shower head that came off of the wall. I was very scared taking a shower as the tub was not flat. It slanted toward the center.

My room was cleaned daily, I received fresh towels daily although I don’t mind hanging mine and using twice. The room was clean and adequate. It’s not a luxury hotel. It’s a motel and they have free coffee in the morning. That is it. The bed was not uncomfortable. The TV worked and the water was hot in the morning. It’s a budget motel. My employer is cheap so if I’m in the Bay Area, I stay here. The local cops drive through the area which I liked. It’s pretty safe. There is a supermarket near by and several Asian restaurants and one Mexican restaurant. Over all, if you need to pay 75-90 a night, you can’t go wrong.

The front desk has been incredibly nice and helpful and was very helpful in advice on what to do in the city. Parking is adequate. Motel was very clean as well as the room. The breakfast was better than what I expected. Though we didn't spend too much time in the Motel, other than sleeping but it left a great impression on us! Our sheets, towels and surfaces of desk, counter and bathroom were all regularly cleaned during our stay.

For the better part of five and one-half months with some breaks this resident Oregonian and Berkeley native and his longtime sweetheart Mary Anne has been lodging at this Motel 6 as we deal with the ongoing settlement of a large estate. The accommodations are basic but clean and safe. Everyday I am impressed by the friendly and hard-working staff. I recommend this location as that staff will put their best foot forward to help you in every way. Just drive-in slowly-and-carefully because children run out of the Calphin Aquatic Club tank next door posing a very dangerous situation as one accesses the property of Motel 6 North Fremont. Jeff.

It was my first time staying at a hotel alone and I am extremely grateful staying at Motel 6 for 5 days. Great service very nice hospitality. Clean and cozy room. There are stores around to grab something to eat, so that was another plus! Thank you.

The service was amazing. We got there at 8am after a 7 hour trip. We were so exhausted and needed to rest. Luckily they were so accommodating and had a room ready for us. The location itself just needs some TLC. If it wasn’t for the great customer service, I know the review itself would’ve been a bad one. It was a last minute trip so and the price wasn’t bad at all.

Great store with lots of great customer service. Great variety of products and quick check out service. Plenty of parking for handicapped as well as normal parking spots. Large nursery department and fun decor items for the home.

Non smoking room smelled like smoke, the hot water lines are installed backwards, othee guests had music reverberating through my room till 11 pm. I called the front desk hoping they would ask the guests to lower their music. I guess they waited till 11 to do so. The police make regular rounds at the hotel which is a comfort and a concern.

We requested a ground floor because my husband is disabled. We were given a second floor room after asking if we could switch rooms we were denied. The room was very basic. Good for the price point. No extra frills for sure. One bar of soap for hands and body?

Great service! Each and every time that I come here. I really like the staff and how professional everyone is. I would like to recommend Angie she is the Manager on duty at the Motel 6 North Fremont office. She is very nice and professional at all times. She deserves great recognition for the great job that she does:)

Of the two Motel 6s in Fremont I think this one comes in second place. Just in terms of overall cleanliness and the type of people and they also don't have free Wi-Fi as does Motel 6 south Fremont. It is right next to a grocery store and does have laundry services if you need so that's good otherwise I'd rather stay at Fremont Motel 6 south if I had the choice. Most time this Motel 6 is $10 cheaper than the South one though.

I stayed at that motel 6 for 1-2 weeks. The only reason I would rate them 2 stars is because on more then 1 occasion the house keepers just opened my room and came in without knocking not even once to let me know they were coming. I was using the restroom and poked my head out and instead of apologizing and leaving she was looking around in my room. All of this while I was basically politely telling her to PLEASE leave… also I have sleep apnea which causes me to basically pass out and not wake up for anything. My very good friend would regularly swing by the front office and pay for my room if I hadn't yet paid for it. She would call me and I didn't pick up she knew I passed out due to my sleep apnea. The front desk on numerous occasions would be rude to her give her attitude. Shocked me and upset me because she is doing me a favor but the motel as well by paying u guys on time that in my opinion deserves a thank u to say the least… there were a few employees in particular that didn't treat us guest right gave a attitude like motel 6 was doing us a favor by letting us stay their instead of us choosing to say their. Over all 2 stars. Was let down this recent stay with your motel.

The room was clean and comfortable, but the water pressure in the sink, shower, and toilet were absolutely horrible. The water conserving devices attached to the faucets and shower head we're terrible. The drought ended earlier this year, so there is absolutely no reason to have these devices attached anymore. I wanted to remove them myself but I decided not to. Maybe you just don't want to spend the time and money to pay your maintenance worker to remove them from every room, but you would make your visitors very happy if you did. There's nothing like a strong hot shower after a long drive or a hard days work. Please consider removing these from your rooms.

Usually my life savior when I can't find anywhere else. Staff is always very accommodating. Rooms are usually pretty clean except for the floors. Parking is usually bit hard to find later at night. Pet friendly! Well kept grounds. Over all I like it.

Edit 10/26/17 — I stayed again for work, and this visit was much better. The front desk staff was very friendly, my room was neat and clean, and they even made sure I had a ground floor room due to a leg injury I had when I checked in. I was much Happier during my last stay. My first visit, I got a room that had been cleaned but the bedsheets had not been changed and there was hair in the sheets. I was given a different room that was clean. There was a lot of noise at the area I was in, and there are long term tenants living in the back area.

The only reason this property gets 1 star, is that there isn't a lower rating. I asked for an upstairs room (quieter), there waere multiple rooms available, but the manager made it very clear that this was out of line and it was some kind of huge favor to change me into one. In fact, in general, the evening manager made it quite clear that I was dog poop on the bottom of her shoe, and it is easy to see why she thought that might be the case. The property, sidewalks, walkways and lawn clearly does not get cleaned on a daily basis. I stay at Motel 6's up and down the west coast, this is the first time I have ever been treated this way at one, and will not return. My advice is STAY AWAY; there are other accommodations (including another Motel 6) in the immediate (within a mile or 2) area.

This is a simple but acceptable motel to spend a few nights. The rooms are basic. No frills. It has a high price for the services it has (100 $/night) but it is one of the cheapest in the Newark (CA) area. The Internet service is paid what a negative point is.

I asked for non-smoking but the bed and blanket all smell like cigarettes. There is also no shampoo. Booking was fast online, though. Checking in and checking out fast too with front ladies.

Check in went fine. Room looked fine offthe bat but upon further inspection not so much. That cubby the towels are kept in was dirty, dusty, and dysfunctional. Where the bathroom floor met the other floor was rough. There were cracks in the bathtub and so the room smelled slightly of mold. The towel bar fell when we put a towel on it. Each day when they made up our room at least one towel was taken but not replaced. We used the pool. First day was fine. Second day the pool area smelled like sewer. From the parking lot, to get to our room, we passed the laundry room which had a spout facing straight down to the sidewalk where we were walking, spouting very hot dryer exhaust. We were yelled at for taking too much ice from the ice machine for our cooler. It was pointed out to us, very rudely, over and over, that there was a poorly placed sign overhead, above eyesight, asking not to do just that. The street lights and the skinny driveway made it very difficult to get to and from the building. The price was better than expected. The grocery store and donut shop next door were awesome.

Fecal splatter on the bathroom wall, disrespectful check in and checkout service. When I arrived at 5 am for late checkin to sleep only 6 hrs till checkout, I was rudely told that there were no rooms available even after stating that I had a reservation. After I was told there was no room under my name. I gladly provided my confirmation number and was finally checked in. The checkout was just as bad. Upon checkout I asked to pay cash instead of leaving the bill on the card that I reserved the room with. I handed the front desk $100 bill and the Front desk immediately informed me that they believed that my $100 bill was counterfeit and they were going to keep it! After arguing and letting them know that I don't appreciate being treated like a criminal. I happily gave them a different hundred dollar bill and demanded the first one back at which they did give it to me. At this point I realized that they had billed me for a second night instead of letting me pay for my one night stay in cash. Complete misunderstanding by the front desk service. I then got a refund for my second $100 bill and was told that they won't let me pay cash instead of my card. This was my worst experience EVER in a hotel. I don't expect a lot. This stay really pushed my buttons. Finally the $100 bill turned out to be real. I will stop now but could easily continue…

Pulled a fairly basic stunt of telling us we could pay half our money on checkout, at which point they increased the room rate to daily drop in. Owner has avoided calling me regarding this. Manager was unhelpful. Don't be conned. Pay on arrival despite their fake warmth. It's a con. Better yet. Stay elsewhere.

I paid $110 for an average room with a bed that was a little saggy. However, it was so clean, you could eat off the floors. The staff was great and they were pet friendly — at no additional charge.

I stay at this motel often and whenever I have a family need to stay in the Fremont area for the night — I was very impressed by the speedy (efficient), effective and professional services I received every time — especially the office. I believe the young lady's name is Ernie (or something like that), she has friendly/welcoming approach with a smile, communicates clearly (and she understands me with no problem at all), answer my questions and help with my requests whenever she can. I stay at the 5-star or 4-star hotels on business trips, your office's performance is at par with those hotels (except, some of the clerks there pretend to speak in an acted elegant tone/style to play their part for their hotel — Motel 6 does not need that, I feel like staying with family/friends, comfortable, nice, peace of mind). I will return to that Motel 6 very soon I think.

We stayed here last minute while moving to the Bay area — we arrived too late to get the keys to our apartment, and Motel 6 was the only place nearby that was a decent price and dog-friendly. We wound up with a smoking room which, I understand is going to have a certain smell, but this was overwhelming. The room smelled like both tobacco and weed, and it took my breath away when we first entered the room — my hair and clothes smelled of it as well after we checked out. I would definitely stay at this hotel again because the area seemed safe, but would avoid the smoking room!

I stayed here because the rates for hotels in this area are astronomical. I was overcharged for the room by $10.00. The sign that is displayed on the door indicates that the maximum rate for 1 person is $99.00 but I was charged $109.00. I guess they assumed I had an invisible friend with me. The people in the parking lot were sketchy at best. The only spots to park were dark and a bit of a way from the hotel. The desk clerk did offer to have the security guard walk with me if I wanted though. The bathtub could use a good soak with bleach and for goodness sake take the shower handle off and clean it. Mildew in a shower handle is gross. The soap provided smells bad. With that being said the bed and bedding were comfortable and fresh and I liked the floors were not carpeted. This made me feel a bit better. Since I was only there for about 9 hours just to sleep it was ok.

Convenient location. Rooms could be bigger and at least have a mini fridge for thevprice smh.

My booking was 3 nights and I did show up a little late on my first night before calling ahead. I stayed in the room which was a below par experience and smelt strongly of cigarettes which made me feel sick and I couldnt sleep the whole night. However, the saddest part was that they marked me as no show even when I stayed in the room and cancelled rest of my reservation leaving me almost homeless and I had to find an expensive hotel in return. They said they already were sold out and didnt have a booking available. Thats some gross mismanagement and utter disregard for customer experience. Really bad experience.

Clean rooms but the ppl in the office don't know wat they are doing and make there own prices.

The location is very convenient. Lots of nearby restaurants and handy to the freeway. Room was clean and comfortable if somewhat sparse. Cost was approximately half of other motels/hotels in the area and was good value for the money.

Experience was ok. Stayed for 2 nights. Speedy Check in, good accommodations. It was storming outside and the room was very humid with and without the ac/heat on. No good ventilation. Every time a shower was taken the whole room would get steamy. Not enough channels to watch on TV. Bed was very hard, had stains on the comforter, and not enough pillows on the bed. Housekeeping came we declined but asked for more towels they said ok we will come back. But never came. Was very irritating.

Got a room here last minute on valentines day so we dint have to drive back to the valley. The bed was ok but could definitely use better housekeeping. Since there was no carpet there was lots of hair & dirt in the corners & on the floor, the mirrors were not cleaned & some of the towels appeared dirty. Oh & the bathroom tub area definitely needs to either be redone or repaired. Definitely not one of the rooms that is shown in their website.

Affordable hotel, great service and average room. Nothing too special but definitely a life saver when looking for hotels last minute without breaking the bank!

I like the North Fremont motel 6 location best. It's quiet and the rooms are clean. Nice friendly staff will be able to answer your questions. Be sure to reserve a room well in advance as this location is often booked to capacity.

The Motel6 is very clean and love it to stay. I love stay at Motel6 again in the future. But one thing I would like the management to know is please provide the big towel instead of small towel. The small towel is not enough to dry our body. I check in there 3x. At first I didn't know about the towel. My 2nd and 3rd time I end it up bring my extra towel (bigger one) ~-~. Last: The Internet service very slow. I made the payment $3.00 as the motel6 wanting us to pay. Thank you. Muslimah2010.

The room was very clean and spacious. It was very clean, too clean we had to air it out for an hour to get rid of the overwhelming cleaner smell, I would rather have that then dirty though. The staff was nice and friendly. I felt safe and slept peacefully and comfortably.

I am a wounded veteran and I have been in many combat dirty scum ridden areas where I was to sleep and survive. I will be as honest with you all I stayed at this hotel the floor in the room was sticking up at every seam. Also I watched whores turn tricks all night long and drug dealers sell their crap till way early in the morning. We came back from visiting San Francisco and two men pulled up behind our car to see if we needed any drugs or hookers. The room when turning on air smelled of urine and we left because of smell, l drug and whore activity. I never ever will stay at another motel 6 I would sleep outside on the ground before breathing the air and staying in a room that was so unsanitary. This is a drug infested hotel and keep away they may do anything for money and it could be you or your kids they get next. Stay away please.

The Staff at this Motel 6 is outstanding. The rooms have been recently updated and I enjoy the new hardwood floors vs carpet. I travel a lot and staying at this hotel is my first choice $$ when I am near the Fremont/Union City area. Lots of choices for food, check out Dino's Restaurant great food and service.
