Cockroach in my room. This place does not qualify for a single star. Worst staff.
This place is a nightmare. I booked a room there after getting evacuated from my home due to wildfires and in a panic I accidentally booked the following night. This very scary middle eastern man was incredibly rude to me and even came after me banging on my car window while I sitting in my car trying to find another hotel. I was terrified of him. How could a man do that to a vulnerable woman who was alone and scared? Then just to make the experience truly unbelievable, he charged my credit card $192 and wouldn’t issue a refund. What kind of human being is that ugly?

Honestly I have never left a negative review. I’ve traveled some and to be honest this is the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I’m saddened to say it’s in Sonoma County in the beautiful wine country. It was Horrible, filthy and I WISH I read the reviews! It was late I needed a place to be that night. I couldn’t find another place to stay that was avalible. The room had a strong oder of mold. The lighting was dim so I did not see the full disgusting effect until the morning when I had full sunlight in the room. The bathroom shower was horrifying with black mold on the soap dispenser, dirty footprints on the shower floor, and hair stuck on the walls. The shower curtain had at least 6 inches high of yellowing and look like it’s never been washed. The lampshades by the bed were dented. The front of the fridge was filthy. There was dust all over the coffee pot. There’s paint on the mirrors as though they just slapped the paint on the walls. There wasn’t a lock on the door inside that was functional. It goes on. I took photos and I also reported them to the BBB. I did have communication with the owners wanting a refund. They refused. I was very disappointed because Cloverdale is such a sweet town. I am still very upset about my stay. I wouldn’t give them any stars but in order to post this I had to give them one.
