Review of SureStay Hotel 3*

A horrible place to stay. Especially if you have children. Our 9 month old was filthy after crawling around for 20 minutes. I'm still washing the dirt out of his little socks and pants. Poor little guy scratched up one of his knuckles on the carpet strip between the carpet and tile. The toilet almost overflowed twice. Our air conditioner was on the fritz. After asking for service on it, we were told to "just keep it at 60. " Are you kidding me? If we fiddled with it at all, we went from freezing to uncomfortably warm. The bathroom was not clean either. The following morning when they were cleaning rooms, they left a bunch of linens just outside our door. I almost tripped over them while I was carrying bags to the car. We went in and spoke to the manager. He had to "do some checking" and was going to call us in the evening. Took both of our cell numbers and then never called. We've tried to contact him twice since then and he cannot be reached. Front desk staff cannot tell us when he'll be back on shift either. I cannot believe that we spent over $100 (after taxes) a night on this dump! Oh, and the free breakfast? Gross! The pastries look and taste as though they were picked from the 3 day old bin, the orange juice is NOT juice, coffee was horrible, and the room was so small. There wasn't enough room for guests to get food and sit to eat. Simply ridiculous and very disappointing! Never again! Spend the extra money to stay somewhere nicer. It won't be difficult to find a hotel better than this one.
