Very good stay like last time. One lady had helped me a lot. Very nice breakfast.

Not a place you want to deal with. The manager told me I would have to pay a full week to get a discount, and can't pay day by day as we had a few weeks prior. I was told I would have to pay the regular rate, then I told her I would call another place and she said she would give me a discount. What a liar! Then she said I can't park a motorhome in the parking lot becuase it would cover more than one spot. I told her there are two huge trucks parked over 4 spots, then she said they have 4 rooms, then I said there are exceptions. She said no exceptions, your not allowed to park in more than one spot. I think it was because she was foreign and didn't understand. I said fine, we'll get one room and she swiped my card and then said I would have to pay a $50.00 deposit. I said never mind, give me my card back. This deposit wasn't required the 1st and 3rd time we stayed here, so it's just her discretion. Now I find out we're short becuase she processed 113.00 for the room. Now I have to wait 48 hours to get a refund.

Incredible in every way. The room. The service. The comfort. The food. The parking. The printing service. I can’t say enough. But you don’t want to stay anywhere else. And the price? Amazing.

Staff were great and breakfast was good. The only thing is our door key did not work, even the master key.

I have always enjoy my visit at this hotel. The staff and check in staff are great always a smile always willing to help with any issue… just a very relaxing stay. I would recommend best western to everyone I know just wonderful.

We were in Escondido for family business. Unable to find a reasonably priced hotel with breakfast and pool, two must haves, we ventured down the road to Poway, only 10 minutes further and a beautiful community. The Best Western Poway was very clean, every person we met on staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. We had a mirror falling off the bathroom door, it was securely fixed in under an hour. Pool was nice, warm. We ate on the upper outside patio. Breakfast had all the trimmings. They put us in two rooms next to each other, convenient for grandkids running back and forth. We came away very happy and saved about +$200 for the two room, two night stay. We would definitely go back.

My family and I had a very positive experience. The staff was very friendly, professional, and our room was very clean. The service was excellent. I would stay here again.

Horrible customer service, upon check in I was told another man named Mateo just took my 3 day reservation worth nearly $300 because he said people call him Matthew. They did not check his ID because obviously we did not have the same first and last name. But when I come with my ID, & reservation confirmation, they questioned me to the fullest and told me to call Hotwire for them to confirm something but not him? Then when I start getting aggravated the manager wants to make a smart remark and say that she didn't need to give a room or my money back. Plus after that we were told that a room reserved for 2 adults and 1 child only had one bed, and was given problems to get a second one. Ridiculous besides the lukewarm showers, and horrible customer service, I found a big juicy bug on the bathroom floor. Best Western? More like Worst Western. Horrible all around! P. S. There's no Jacuzzi just a small pool that lacks maintenance.

Very roomy and comfortable and great environment we had a trailer and truck and we could not find park so that kinda suck besides that everything else was great.

The room smelled like Ben gay. Had to leave door open for 2 hours. Other than that it was good. Comfy beds.

Comfy pillows, good breakfast for the price. Dirty carpeting, huge gap on door you can smell cigarettes even door is shut and noise. Frustrating front desk they do not communicate on who is extending day to day. Keeps knocking on door asking for check out or payments after we already pay before 11 or 12 pm.

It was okay stay, comfy pillows has free breakfast. I wish they have kitchenette for extended stay. Huge gap on doors so you hear people and smell the cigarette very bad. Advice to the management please steam your carpets once in a while, it was gross full of stained and dry mud. And then you can ask for a cleaning deposit! And also please communicate on payments and who check out or who is extending day to day you always knock on the door asking for payments or check out after we already pay. Very stressful and very unprofessional.

Nice rooms for the price. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Parking lot is small, but I had no trouble finding a spot. Didnt use the pool but it looked clean. Overall, had a good experience.

The room was clean and seemed relatively new. Had a fridge, nice shower, comfy bed, Wi-Fi, and hot breakfast in the morning (it's just eggs, sausage and a make your own waffle station but that is better than most breakfasts at a hotel). I stayed here on a two week road trip and this place was as nice of an experience as I got at places twice the price!

Rooms are clean. Good service but we told that there was pool with heater but it's not true.

The rooms are spacious, the service is very good, decent breakfast, excellent Wi-Fi. Noisy small flat for the rooms on the road side and condtzt, repair of the doors of the rooms allows the flow of air, the light and the external noises.

Place is deplorable. Had issues checking in at front desk terrible customer service. They offered a handicap room with broken fixtures and a running toilet. Carpet was tattered and worn. Had not been cleaned in a very long time. Baseboards coming aloose from wall. Was offered another room on the back side of the property that smelled like a wet dog. Upon further inspection of the the room, in the closet was a pair of dirty gym socks that had been there who knows how long. Used condoms behind the bed. Don't waist your time or money.

If you like the charm of the 70s or 80s, this is the place. Friendly staff, light-hearing walls, like almost anywhere in California, but otherwise OK.

Clean room, affordable, friendly staff. My parents are staying here for my son's 1st birthday and I couldn't be happier. Will definitely book them here each time they come. Great job, by far the Best Western Hotel I've ever experienced. They even switched their room to a downstairs room to make it easier on them. I can't express how grateful I am for that.

Was very impressed. Room was super clean and the breakfast was really good. Definitely recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised. Updated, clean and comfortable. Double head shower was wonderful. Room (112) was a nice size as well as restroom. Room had all you would expect from a nice motel. Iron & board, coffee make, microwave, mini refrig, alarm clock and even a safe. Lights are on a timer which I think is a good idea. And no bedside lamps — which I am a big fan of! Outlets accommodate a USB for charging. I recommend this Best Western.

What a great place! Just got home and I still think of it. I loved the room, the friendly staff, the location, and the over all concern for our comfort. I will go there again and again.

For the cost it was a great stay. Breakfast was cool with some variety. The parking was plentiful. The only problem I had were with the Wi-Fi strength was pretty terrible and upon checkout the individual running the front desk was nowhere to be found.

The room was clean. The a. C. And heat worked well. My only criticism is that for 90$ it was not worth it. When we arrived yesterday, The attendant informed us they were replacing there water heater and said it would be working by 3pm… This morning. No hot water. And the breakfast was a letdown. Don't inform me you have fantastic breakfast, and not deliver. If not for those two things. 5 stars.

The staff here were delightful. Very friendly and helpful. We stayed with our two dogs and felt very comfortable having them there. The room was clean and attractive. No lingering smell from other people’s pets having been there. There was a nice and convienient fenced in dog yard that had grass and a waste station that our dogs loved.

The hotel was clean. I was able to choose a quiet room. The hotel isn't fancy but was very close to Ramona. I was able to get to my destination in 15 minutes. The rooms need a desk. I had to do my work sitting on the bed. I would stay here again so I can quickly get to Ramona.

Room was super cozy and well put together. Staff was super friendly and helpful especially the front desk agent, Mariela! She checked me in quick and easy and even called my room to check and make sure everything was perfect and if there was anything more she could do to make my stay even better. Honestly was the most helpful at that hotel and I will definitely be coming back!

Excellent customer service by desk person Mariella. She is awesome. Clean and neat rooms. Appears to be renovated and painted. Parking lot well lit. Parking lot appears to be resurfaced. Sink is separate from the toilet/shower. Ironing board, good size motel refrigerator, microwave, cold AC. Located in what appears to be a nice area. The temperature adjustment in the refrigerator was removed; however, the refrigerator and freezer worked flawlessly. I'm updating my review to 5 stars because the included breakfast was excellent. I recommend staying here.

We have stayed here at this hotel in poway 2 years in a row for our vacation. We have had a pleasent experience both times. They have a large breakfast as well witch is wonderful. We will be back again.

Neat, cozy, and clean 2 bed room. Area not bad. Free decent breakfast. Fancy granite counter tops and shower walls added just the right amount of class, microwave, mini fridge, and TV. My only 2 complaints is that one of the beds was soft and comfy while the oth er was hard. The bathtoom fan was noisy and stayed on with the light which I like to keep on for late night bathroom trips. Other than that great place to stay for one or two nights.

Disappointing. It was fine last time I stayed here. This time the room was about 90 deg when I checked in and smelled stuffy and musty. The AC was anemic and had check filter light on. Then after finally falling asleep, the room lights came on by themselves. There is some enegy saving programmable light switch and it was clearly programmed wrong. Second night, changed rooms. AC more capable but check filter light still on and the room initially still smelled musty. Clock wrong and haven't figured out how to change it. And having 'smart' light switches changed out because no one here knows how to work them to assure they don't randomly turn on. Unimpressed.

We found the hotel to be clean and the staff very friendly. Our room had an incredibly comfortable bed and it was surprisingly quiet because the location is close to so many businesses. This was our first stay and it was very comfortable.

Clean nice place food is close and good local food.

Clean rooms, friendly staff clean pool firm mattress my daughter had a blast. Glad we stayed.

Rooms are clean, service is excellent. Furniture and equipment are little median quality. Only downside I have seen is, They have same breakfast every alternate day and doesn't serve any cream cheese along with bread. Had been here 3-4 times and found that some rooms doesn't have working phones. But other than that just for quick stay and leave for cheap, this is a good place with all shopping and restaurants very nearby.

Have stayed just as good or better by the beach at a cheaper rate. I think rate needs to be set at 59 dollar a night instead of a 79 dollars considering it is far away from any attractions, the beach or San Diego. My one night was nice and quiet. Clean room. Nice Flat Screen TV. Lady at the desk very friendly who checked me in. There was an issue with the Wifi having to call some tech support number and the upload speed was horrible when I tried to upload a 40 second video which was going to take over 90 minutes. Overall a very good place to stay and one of the most comfortable mattress I have slept on.

Comfy bed, nice TV, free breakfast. The walls are a bit thin so any noise can seep into the rooms. The parking is weird, just park in the back. The price was right.

The beds are hard as a rock and will keep you up all night! Other then that, clean and a great location.

Microwave was broken, clock was blinking and we had to unplug it. Outdated TV and remote. Blow dryer didn't work. Not the cleanest room and then they sprayed for bugs and it smelled horrible. They charge a lot for this place and it's really not worth it.

They cancelled my paid reservation and left me wandering in San Diego, looking for another hotel at 10 PM, later on called me back and offered a room, I took it on the spot, more expensive $159.00 and smoking room, (I've never smoked in my life), had to take it or else sleep in my truck. Room is the most basic thing I've slept in, with the exception of a mexican small-town motel I had to sleep in years ago, due to no other option than my car's seat. Try Ramada a mile east, way more inviting and super clean.

Had 8 (eight) mexican noisy truck drivers using our next room as a common room for them to eat and (specially) to drink. We asked for a change of the room and was denied by the manager the first of the three pre paid nights. The second night we threath to complain to Best Western Chain and only that way they changed the room. Very up set with that manager woman (we stay in June 2011 (3 to 6). Tuve que soportar 8 camioners mexicanos usando el cuarto de al lado mio como uso comun para comer y (especialmente) beber. Pedimos el cambio de cuarto y nos fue negado la primera noche de las 3 prepagas. Al dia siguiente solo ante la amenaza de hacer la queja telefonica a la cadena Best Western nos dieron el cambio de cuarto. Muy enojados con la Gerente, Estuvimos alojados entre el 3 y el 6 de Junio de 2011.
