Excellent services abd great breakfast. Clean rooms and enough for 5 ppl (2 adults and 3 kids 6, 7, 11) Very recommended!

Nice clean rooms well-maintained located in an excellent spot local businesses close by within walking distance, staff courteous goes out of their way to help you.

The staff was super friendly compared to other hotels we stayed at. Breakfast was delicious. I would stay here again.

The front desk people were very friendly and helpful, the room/bed was comfortable. The only gripe I have is the electrical outlets were very loose and our recharging cords would fall out (it's an easy job to fix this) and the shower handle was almost falling off, another easy fix.

Rooms are the best, they staff are nice.

Needed a room near Escondido Medical Center and drove from there to this Comfort Inn. 5-6 minutes away. Wonderful clerk gave me the room for 2 nights. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Complimentary snacks and bottled water, nice toiletries. Very clean bathroom/room. Nice buffet breakfast comes with room. Would definitely stay here again.

I had a lovely experience which believe it or not is very rare. The staff were beyond nice, helpful and just over all great. The rooms were very clean with more than adequate amount of towels (it was a jacuzzi room). I visit a friend of mine in that area periodically. This will be my go to hotel from now on.

The complimentary snacks and water in the room were a nice touch. Having a balcony made the room feel larger.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE! Staff was great but the room was god awful. Our first room smelt like cigarette smoke. The aroma HITS you in the face like a ton of bricks IMMEDIATELY when you open the door to the room. Next entire carpet was soaking wet. My socks was soaking wet with either soap or something. Absolutely disgusting. Then when you get into bed the bed sheets and blankets were still damp and not even dried yet. There were still stains on pillow case and sheets. So laying in bed for a little bit your clothes becomes damp and wet too. Omg just an overall VERY VERY bad experience. This is my 2nd attempt to stay at a COMFORT INN and 2ND bad experience with this chain. Im never staying with COMFORT INN and longer.

Room we rented this pass weekend had roaches in the bed and on the walls. The worst part is not being able to get a refund after only being there 30 mins.

Was given a 3rd floor room with busted AC. Tried to switch rooms because of that and the haze of marijuana smoke that was wafting through the hallway. Was told we couldn’t be moved until morning because the manager was not onsite and couldn’t be reached. Concierge informed us we could not cancel because we booked through hotels. Com but she would notate our account that we physically could not stay because of an asthmatic child and marijuana smoke. Hotels. Com just needed approval to refund our money but instead I was rudely lectured as to how the GM could not do anything. Man, your hotel is dirty, and falling apart. We have always stayed there, the last time just two years ago. It’s really gone downhill and we will never stay there again. Holiday Inn is in the same parking lot and is nicer, cleaner and cheaper. You lost 4 lifelong clients with your customer service both the night we arrived and after.

Violence in the parking lot, tweakers everywhere, a/c vent held on with tape, could only go up to 2nd floor on elevator because the down button does not work,
I was there 45 minutes and let them keep my money just to not deal with the rude front desk people.

This place is absolutely disgusting! there was blood on the bed and towels the bath tub was painted and there was rust stains it was flat out nasty! prostitutes walking in and out no one wearing mask. I've turned this place in and contacted the proper authorities for those children living in that very bad situation.

Disgusting will never stay here again roaches crawling next to my head while trying to sleep no thank you.

The breakfast is good. The bed is comfortable. I was disappointed in the tub it wasn't clean and, its painted.

Room was big and I liked how they had a welcome gift in the room. Breakfast was really appatizing I liked how they give you the option to build you waffle your way. Over all my experience was great.

I enjoyed my stay they have great customer service the hot breakfast buffet was great. The girls at front desk greeted me with a smile. I liked that they had complimentary snakes in the room. The rooms are nice and clean and we really loved the private balcony. That was great add on to the room… with all the amenities of refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Lots of restaurants in the area with many shopping options too. Very quite and nice hotel, will certainly come back…

This location is closed to plenty of shopping. The breakfast is better than most Comfort Inns. Beds are a bit firm Shower pressure could be better, not a deal breaker though. Wi-Fi is fast and stable. There are no dining areas. Some hotels will let you dine in the breakfast area later in the day. I would stay again.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The AC ran cold and the showers had plenty of hot water. The variety of foods offered at breakfast were wonderful. I would definitely stay here again!

Dont expect much. It's a basic place to stay. For the price it's good. Breakfast was amazing. They have tiny jars of honey that taste amazing and the BEST waffles I've had from a machine at a hotel ever.

Very clean. Staff from front desk to housekeeping are all friendly, accomodating, courteous & professional. Place is an older hotel but it is very clean. We have no complaints and we would return if we had to. It's close to many food places to eat (fast food or dine-in) & shopping centers. All within walking distance. Very nice place.

Room was very clean and staff was very accommodating. I did book the hotel through expedia and it was advertised as 24 hour cancel/change. I called to change it within that time and the manager was never available to help nor accommodate that change. Luckily, the hotel was very nice and a perfect location for us.

Family of 5 with a cott. Comfortable and I would stay there again. Staff was friendly. Room worked, good location, nice pool for the kids. Breakfast was good with a huge selection.

This place has become my home away from home. Everything from the pristine condition of each room I've been given, to the professional, courteous staff, deserve way more than 5 stars. Like today, was in a bind that Maria and Raj were more than helpful in getting things handled. I won't even look at other hotels now. Highly recommend to everyone.

This place is normally pretty good. ATTENTION:
My boyfriend’s parents came to visit from Chicago and they normally stay at the Comfort Inn off the 15 freeway. They wanted to charge them 600$ for two nights when their normal rate was about 89$ a night. The hot tub and pool weren’t even up and running and his dad found black mold in the toilet after the website said “newly remodeled. ” Before they booked the hotel, the guy on the phone charged the credit card and then when checking in upon arrival, the receptionist (same guy) charged them again. ALSO: FALLBROOK COUNTRY INN refused to book a room for them because his mom’s license said her full name but her credit card was the abbreviated version. He said it was company policy but it was her nickname and she had photo ID. He swiped her card and then looked at her ID. His mom, dad and him were all very upset because they’d just come from the Comfort Inn. The guy at the front desk said he “doesn’t tolerate credit card fraud. ” So, in order to get their money back he said it would take 3-5 business days (Friday night). They leave on Tuesday, so for two hotel rooms that his parents don’t get to stay in, they just spent about 1200$ which was supposed to be all money they’d spend on vacation. They won’t get that money back until after they are home.

Customer service is this property's speciality! I have had the pleasure of staying at the Comfort Inn in Escondido a few times. I travel to the area on business and I have come to know the management and staff as my family away from home. The manager Raj has installed a sense of pride in his staff. The front desk employees are fantastic. Everytime I walk through the doors I feel welcomed and appreciated for making the choice to stay there. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The value for the level of hotel is unmatched. Before I made the choice to stay with Comfort Inn I had made the choice to stay at other hotels in the area and simply put, once I found the Comfort Inn I have made the choice to never stay anywhere else. Thank you for the great experiences while staying with you. See you again soon!

Nice and clean bedroom, amazing breakfast, balconies to enjoy the view, jacuzzi and pool available for enjoyment, free snacks on my arrival, I felt very welcomed and greeted by the friendly front desk, also housekeeping did a very good job with our room every day we stayed. One of my favorites so far, and especially with many restaurants being available all around the area!

Booked 1 night room on 2nd floor. (1) We immediately noticed loud creaking noises from room above. Requested quieter room on 3rd floor. We were told by the front desk clerk "nobody ever complained before about loud noise". Moved to 3rd floor with lovely view of parking lot. Our other choice was room with non working jacuzzi tub. (2) We decided to use the heated pool & spa. We were told by the front desk to walk out the front door of the lobby to get to pool. They didn't bother to tell us you have to reach in through the gate to open from the other side. Apparently there is no lock on the gate. We were told by clerk at front desk "that this is safer for children". The gate is in front of the bldg in a very heavy traffic area with an assortment of homeless people asking for handouts. The pool & spa area was full of weeds, littered with trash & cigarettes, filthy table & chairs, dirty barbeque with towels thrown on top & open bottles of lighting fluid left out. They claim this is safe for children?! Also, there were no clean towels & the pool is NOT heated! (3) About 5:30 am we were awakened by a phone call from someone in room saying we called him! Then a half hour later we get a wake up call! We call the front desk & get left on hold, finally someone answers & says "oh it must have been a carry over from the previous day". Huh?! (4) No hot water in the shower! Everytime we asked to speak to the manager we were told he was not there or would be in soon.

Wonderful, clean, great breakfast, very comfortable beds, laundry room. Nexts to everything you may need on vacation. Food, shopping, and gas station right next to the hotel, great for your rental car! Staff very pleasant, fresh coffee and ice cold water in lobby, and easy parking. Would stay again‍‍‍

I will come back again great walking distance to restaurants and 10 mins away from safari park.

We been on vacation of spring break. Comfort Inn Escondido made our vacation 5-star. The breakfast was one of the best we have from any hotel we stayed. Six waffles, several yogurts, several fresh fruits and with Bacon, sausage, biscuit and gravy… and what not… the pool and spa was crystal clean… blue water… best of the best… we will be there again… Thanks Comfort Inn.

Run down rooms, shower wouldn't drain. I had left a small bag there and was going to make arrangements for family to pick up for me, but they offered to ship which was nice. After not shipping the package after a few days they selected to ship my package overnight priority — the most expensive option possible without even asking me about it. $87 in shipping for a small package and on top of that, it was for a Saturday delivery to my business which would be closed. I wish they just asked me about it. The manager, Raj took no steps to set it right. Overall negative experience here.

Very nice clean hotel love the pool area very clean that wht we love with our children, breakfast was very good will come back again.

The rooms were great. Service is great, but there were wiredo people walking around at night.

The service was nice. They provide breakfast from 6 a. M. It's easy to park and shopping stores are easily accessible. The two things two complain about is the little deterioration of the room and that the ceiling was not too strong to diminish sounds of footsteps upstairs. Had a little trouble getting a shut eye because of that.

Decent hotel for the price. Staff was Friendly. Breakfast was pretty good some of the food could have been hotter. But over all wasnt bad!

For the price, this was a great hotel stay. The room was well put together, had a king bed, microwave, fridge and new TV for around $83 per night average. The bathroom was small and the shower could've used a bit of work but again, for the price it was great. Free breakfast and Wi-Fi, can't complain.

My room was very clean and remodeled. The little extras in the room like complimentary bottle water, chips, nuts was a great touch. The staff was very friendly, helpful and that is so important when traveling and exhausted. The parking lot was safe and secure. Thank you for the great experience!

This hotel was a fair value, all things considered. We stayed here so that we could enjoy all that Stone Brewing had to offer, just a $7 Uber fare away. Convenient location and not too pricey, but the smell of an old cellar permeated the room and haunted us after we left. If you get a room not inhabited by the ghosts of grandma's preserved vegetables, you may find this place an even better value. One major plus was the apparently free peanuts, water, and sour cream n onion Lays chips — a rare treat in a hotel of any type.

Customer and housekeeping service was good. There was complementary snacks. Hotel is located in a very convenient area. I was able to walk to the nail salon after breakfast at the hotel. Many restaurants in the area.

Very clean. Comfortable pillow like beds and insulated nicely so I couldn't hear noise around me from others. I was right in the middle third floor and center corridor too. Oh but if there were spikes for beds I would still go for the for the breakfast! Seriously outstanding! Nothing was left out. Totally amazed with all, truly!

Could the rooms need a bit of a face lift? Yes, but don't we all! Who cares as long as they are as clean as ours was. Exceptional staff; courteous, friendly and accommodating. Perfectly located for anything you would need (local attractions, shopping and many, many places to eat). I'm not sure where all the poor reviews came from about the breakfast because there was a wide variety of food to choose from. Lots of fresh fruit, healthy options and not-so-healthy options you tend to choose when you are on holiday. Couldn't ask for more! Thank you!

It was comfortable. Rooms were small but clean. Breakfast was excellent. Limited handicapped parking and other entrances near our room and near elevator had steps up — not ideal for disabled visitors.

Somewhat disappointing… air conditioning unit was not responsive created an overly heated room for family. Notified front desk, they seemed mildly apologetic but it did little to salvage the experience.

Staff was great. When we arrived the room smelled as though the carpets had just been cleaned and the carpet was still slightly damp. Other than that the room was exactly as expected.

I rented a jacuzzi suit for my grand daughters 16th birthday. Friends and family stopped by for cake and ice cream. All was going well until one of my friends went down stairs and had a dis-agreement with the front desk, she was asked to leave. While I was taking her home the front desk called the police. When my grand daughter opened the door she heard management tell the police that we were drug trafficking from the room. The police then told my grand daughter that she had to leave. During this time no one ever called me. My grand daughter called after they left I was already on my way back. I asked the front desk what was going on and they knew nothing. As I was checking out I was double billed and money still isn't back on card 7 days later.

Stayed multiple time for business. It is not clean and fancy one, but somehow I've enjoyed staying there. Many conveniences were nearby and receptionists were kind and helpful.

Our room reservation was checked in to someone else, TV was way off center from the bed. On a positive, the breakfast was great.

The location is kind of hidden away and therooms are nice but the breakfast room feels very claustrophobic. Overall the whole experience is alright not too bad and not too great.

This is a wonderful hotel for the price paid. The plus side is this hotel is pet friendly! The room is very clean and I got the room with a patio (maybe it's because I brought my 2 cats with me. ) My 2 cats are happy in the room, and to my surprise, they didn't seem to mind that they are in a strange place at all. They got comfortable within 5-10 minutes. The room has a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. The breakfast is nice as well; they offer bacon, ham, sausage, pan fried eggs, as well as hard boiled eggs, waffle maker with 2 different batter to choose from, and the usual bread, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, milk, juices and yogarts. Another good part about this hotel is, it is next to just about everything, In-N-Out, Chick-fil-A, Carlos Jr. Many other restaurants (including a Italian market), Target, and they are all walking distance from the hotel. Overall experience is excellent for me. I will definitely stay here again in the future.
