Clean, comfortable, with super super friendly staff that treats me so well every time I stay. I do a lot of night photography, and at the end of an evening, I am so happy to come back into a nice large room and collapse on a super comfortable bed. They just redid their bathrooms as well, and they are better than ever. I definitely recommend them!

Just had our second visit to Stanlunds. We love the atmosphere and the convenience. The kitchenettes are perfect for making a quick meal before starting your day.
The rooms with the front patios are great. The view cannot be beat. The best part is sitting on the patio as the sun comes up and watching the mountain change colors.

Stayed here during labor day weekend. We already love Borrego Springs, but Stanlunds is now our new place to stay in the area. The room was big and had a full kitchen and sofa. AC and fan worked great for a hot summer day. The place has a perfect balance of 60s/70s charm with modern appliances. Rooms were clean and stocked. The staff was very helpful and kind. Never needed them for anything other than a quick restock of some items since we declined room service. They even keep the pool area open so you can lounge under the beautiful and clear night sky.

My stay was quite great. Management was very curtious and helpful. He made sure to turn on the AC before we got in. For those that know Borrego Springs, that means a lot! Very clean rooms and plenty of parking. There's a nice pool and area to relax in the shade as well.

Last minute booking, they were so accommodating and helpful. The rooms are older and need a little TLC, but very clean. I would definitely book them again.

We were very happy with the motel. The staff went above expected and were always friendly. Will be staying there again for sure.

This place was super cool! We loved the vibe. There was a back patio for BBQ and stargazing, a pool to cool off in and management couldn’t have been nicer… We are definitely coming back!

There were only two things that need to be fixed… when you flush the toilet it made a horrible sound… and it was very difficult to lock the front door but definitely recommend and going back.

This place is super retro, and was awesome.

Clean, quiet, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast. Slept like a rock. Four out of five stars only because of the vintage (early 1960’s chic)

Run down. No bugs but hard bed. Totally dark outside as there are not exterior lights. Good for a night flop if you are not particular.

Friendly owner, super helpful! Every time we visit we see more upgrades have been made to the rooms. Comfortable sleeping accommodations out in the desert!

Great for budget concious. Not elegant, but suites are large, have kitchenettes, and a private back patio with table seating for 4-6. About 1 mile from Christmas Circle. Walkable along bike path. Pool has covered area with picnic tables.

It's a pretty typical motel. Unremarkable but perfectly acceptable.

It clean, fairly spacious and most importantly it's affordable.

I don't usually stay in hotels or motels because I'm not rich, but my partner and I found this spot offered clean fully functioning rooms and a nice pool at an incredibly cheap price. To top it off, all the people working here were extremely nice.

When you don't need much this is a GREAT place. Rooms are very clean and staff are friendly. It's just a little out of town but perfect for me. And the bed was comfortable. Will be staying here again in the future.

Wonderful, quiet place. Located just a bit away from the main drag which was nice so we could escape the wildflower crowds. Manager Kirit was very nice and helpful as my wife and I experienced car trouble and he made sure to hold our room while we dealt with tow to garage and subsequent delayed check-in.

Cute and comfortable 50's/60's styled inns. Stayed in a two bedroom which was furnished with a fridge, over, microwave, tv, among other appliances. They have a pool and ice chest as well. Good parking. Beautiful view of mountains and palms and only a 5-10 min drive from town. The owner was very kind and helpful. Would love to stay again!

We stayed her about 6 months ago and loved it. We are hoping to get the same room this weekend when we visit for my birthday. The place was awesome. Like a small apartment. Private patio, Refrigerator, stove, all the dishes and pans you could need and at a great price.

Very cozy little Motel Style sixties retro motel with fixed up rooms on the inside. Pool is nice too. Run by very nice family. I've stayed here many nights never had a problem.

Well as for having no place to stay at 2 am and it seemed as though no one else wanted to answer their phones, but luckily STANLUND'S INN did and well the place was awesome! Thank you for making us feel welcome!

Leaving Las Vegas-style desert hideaway. Clean, comfortable. Sweet pool. Within biking distance to town center. Perfect for a weekend or week away from the city.

Had the pleasure of staying here on 5/25/16. Al, the Manager-Great People, the hotel is spotless, rooms are spacious and there is a patio area in the back door of each room with a gas grill, tables and a place to relax. The kitchen had everything you would ever need. Great place, reasonable price, I will come back. Thanks Al, you are the best!

Disappointed… no Wi-Fi and especially at these prices when a hotel advertises that it has Wi-Fi, it should!

… my nephew and I stay here when we came up late from our way back Vegas and find a quite and clean place to stay comfortable for only one night but we had a good sleep and so we get started next day. Thank you for ya kind and helpful service. Mike and Florian.

My wife and I along with some of my Jeeping buddies have stayed at Stanlunds a few times over the years while doing 4 wheeling in Anza Borrego and Ocotillo Wells. It's a nice place! The rooms are clean, the staff is very nice and helpful. They have a nice continental breakfast next to the office every morning. Plenty of room for parking even for our Jeep trailers. Don't expect all the amenities of the bigger resorts across town but you wont get double the price for a room either. Perfect for getting out of the dirt after a day of playing or just an overnighter while passing through. Close to town and Carly's resturant, great food! Would stay there anytime.

It's not modern, it's not fancy. If you're looking for that, you should look elsewhere (and be prepared to pay almost twice as much). But it is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is relaxed and most importantly, it's pet friendly.

This place was built in 1960 and was probably ok back then. Now it could use a thorough cleaning and a paint job. It is better than camping out in the desert, but not by much. I stayed elsewhere my second night.
