The park was neat and clean. The restroom was neat and clean. Nice place to visit. The parking was okay. Maintenance a good job in the park. It wasn't that much water in the lake. Not that much rain this year. Nice view from the lake. Great location to the highway.

I remember coming here 10 years ago… it was a little "park" but nothing special. A few years ago they re-did the whole park and now it's simply awesome. Lots of flowers, picnic tables, a nice, clean public restroom, lush green grass… and a dock on the steadily declining water line. : ( Really a beautiful little park for Big Bear. With any luck we'll get some rain and snow and thus more water in the lake. Come enjoy Boulder Bay Park!

Beautiful park to take photos. To bad the water level was low. But hey, we still managed to take amazing pictures here.

It is alright, there is no lake view but great view at lake cabins and lodges. One of the few places you should come check out no matter what.

This little park sit right next to Big Bear lake definitely a place to visit during sunsets highly recommended.

Nice place to visit, take in the view and just relax. Maybe even have a picnic with some close friends. Water level on the lake is WWAAAYYYYY low right now as well.

Nice little spot to relax flushing bathrooms but no water access due to the water level being low.

Even with the water levels being low, it's a beautiful park. Kayakers, families having picnics, people enjoying the view. Surprised on how busy it was.

Enjoy the park, and be mindful of others trying to do the same… While Kayaking I was amazed at Adult visitor's and their Moron twelve-year-olds tossing rocks into the water over our heads, aiming for local ducks. As an ex law-enforcement and US Coast Guardsman, I wasted no time in correcting their behavior. This moron family promptly drove off. I also found broken beer bottle glass littering the little island. Stiff tickets should be issued for violating safety and wildlife threats.

Beautiful place to go with and without snow. Nice place to go walk in the summer and fun place to go in the snow. In snow, can be very packed and snow gets stomped on fairly quick because of it. If you want fresh powder snow, go up a trail.

This place has lost alot of apeal since the lakes water level has dropped so much. Docks up on rocks. You can walk out where was once under water. Looks pretty bad.

It is a very nice place, its beautiful scenery and the place very neat and tidy and the best thing is to arrive when snow falls ⛄️

The park is serene. The only reason it get's 4 stars is it didn't have enough shade or trees. By the way, most of the parks in Big Bear do not have enough trees or shade.

Thinking Big Bear is a place for ski only in the winter season, think no more. Big Bear is such a wonderful place during the summer: entertainment activities at the lake, with fishing, boat, kayaking; nice high quality hiking trails with a beautiful scenery, where the place is looking like a Yosemite, fresh clean air, blue sky etc. A world difference on traffic between winter and summer: easier to drive during the summer time.

Beautiful and relaxing… no playground but great for picnic and bbq.

Nice place for picnic. They offer some lake sports for the little ones. Nice atmosphere.

Great spot all year around for family picnics and enjoying the beautiful lake views! The area has come a long way since I was a child vacationing here with my family. They have restrooms, picnic tables, park benches, and a gazebo style picnic area for larger gatherings needing shield from the elements. There is a small floating dock to walk down on and take in the lake views. You can usually see duck, and fish really well. Great spot for photographing the landscape, sunsets, and family portraits! Easily a spot you can spend all day at or just an hour and move on to the next destination in town!

Beautiful park in front of a great landmark. Highly recommend anybody to visit this place.

The park itself is pretty cool. It overlooks what used to be a lake, or parts of a lake. This day not so much since the drought has been taking a toll on Big Bear lake itself. Now there is mainly marsh.

It is a beautiful park that is well maintained and clean. A great place to stop and have a picnic, or just sit and enjoy the scenery. The water level is low, but that shouldn't change your mind about stopping here.
