The hotel was beautiful and clean.

John is the best masseuse. He’s a trainer too so very knowledgeable about anatomy. I highly recommend a massage with John. He’s funny too!

Great getaway right outside Sacramento. Very family friendly. Nice balconies and patios with the rooms. Nice pool.

Omg the food at The Gate is to die for. Great decor. Amazing facility. We are so blessed to have this at Rancho Murieta. The BlackBerry mojito is a must try. Food and veggies locally sourced. Way to go Carol 💕

The mini fridge didnt work. And the hot tub was closed but other than that. Its a great place. I will return.

Very special staff. They made my Mom’s 94th birthday a day to remember. The head chef and front desk person delivered chocolate covered strawberries, Champaign and balloons to our room. The chef also came to our table during dinner to wish Mom a Happy Birthday.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! The thought that went into details is obvious. Very comfortable beds. Very appreciative of the life jackets available at the pool and the full size pool towels! The outdoor fireplace is gorgeous and the playground is a great added bonus for those traveling with children. Definitely recommend and will stay here again in the future, I’m already looking forward to our next visit.

Everything from the property to the amenities to the staff (esp. Andrew and Nicole) is AWESOME. The hospitality will exceed your expectations. The spa and services are the BEST. Did I mention how amazingly awesome Andrew and Nicole are?! Sure to make you rave about your stay.

Here for a wedding. This place is awesome. Rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Cozy sheets. Great balcony overlooking courtyard and pool. The food was so good and the personnel were all very nice and accommodating. Also loved the decor all throughout the resort. It was just lovely and a great weekend.

Great hotel if you are visiting the equestrian center. Close enough to walk to the barns, or the staff will take you in a golf cart. Good restaurant too, we ate breakfast lunch and dinner there for 3 days and didn’t get sick of it. Pool was nice too, not crowded.

Had brunch there. Very solid prices for a very solid brunch. The eggs Benedict were fine. Expect a very cowboy theme everywhere you look when visiting the hotel. There's a nice pool and hot tub in the back, plenty of parking, nice staff. At the end of the day though, there's not a lot around the place. However, if eventing, golf, or just the vast landscape of farmland California is your idea of a vacation. This is a great place to stay! Just wish there were more things around to do (night life, bars, etc. )

I went to a party there, it was my first visit. Wow, beautiful place! I checked out the dinner menu for the restaurant and it seems to have reasonable prices, it was packed. All staff were very helpful. Rooms start at $189. They have a pool. Plenty of free parking, great country views. Definitely a luxury hotel.

Absolutely flawless! From the decor, friendly staff, cleanliness, excellent rooms with pool view, poolside happy hour and great food! Didn't do the spa experience but looked very upscale and professional. I will be back!

Exceeded my expectations. Great room, bar, and staff. They have a place for live music/concerts. The room was huge, updated, with a great bathroom. The shower was amazing. It is kinda in the middle of nowhere, stayed for a wedding but again, it was great.

Wife & I, as well as family members stayed here… took me back and reminded me of Harrahs Tahoe… 5 ⭐️ places and well worth staying to enjoy some luxury and pampering. The rooms are spacious and very clean to start your way off to some great memories that you will remember. There was nothing negative of our stay… excellent… just wish we would have saved the body wash, shampoo and conditioner… to buy on later… will need to look through the web site now to see if we can purchase on line. Oh… oh… the Bloody Mary and pina coladas are a must… heh.

I love this place and everything about it! the décor is fabulous and screams luxury! the food and cocktails are amazing! I cant wait to stay and try their spa services as well at stay over night and also return for the june 2018 prime rib dinner and also want to try their short ribs that are on the menu now!

Remote Location but still close to home. Has an elegant but still classy decor. A great place to relax and the food is good too!

The hotel is gorgeous. The rooms are spectacular. I love the decor. A bit expensive as we were staying for as horse show and are horse trainers. There should be a special discount for horse professionals as this is business, not pleasure.

Finally someplace close with great service and great food. Our server was very attentive and informative. The food was on point and the drinks were delicious. It’s a beautiful venue with impeccable artwork. We will be back with family and friends.

We went on opening day. The service was very slow which we attribute to first day jitters and the large crowd waiting for their drinks. The staff seemed overwhelmed. The food was delicious! No doubt we will definitely be back. We wish Ms. Anderson great success for a beautifully decorated hotel in our community.

Great food. Great linens. Horse show friendly amenities. Thoughtfully designed. Check — in was a bit of a struggle. A lack of experience was evident. But hopefully that will resolve with time. Also, key entry on side doors would be a plus.

Beautiful restaurant. Recently opened. Unfortunately, we waited 45 min past our reservation. Needed to clear our table is what we were told. Waited another 45 min to get our food. No explanation or apology. The food was delicious. I hope they will step it up because it is a nice place.

Rooms are beautiful. Everyone was really nice. Food is really well done but they are still working out the kinks with room service. They forgot to write down my room number one morning, forgot my drinks twice, no cutlery twice, and on a Saturday night they cancelled room service all together. Pool and hot tub were closed but no one told me when I made the booking or when I checked in. I’m hoping they get a little more organized, it really is a beautiful hotel. Super convenient for horse shows too. UPDATE: Beeakfast room service was cancelled the morning after I wrote this too. Their solution was I go downstairs, order, wait in the restaurant for 30 min for my take out and bring it up myself. They wouldn’t even take a phone take out order so I didn’t have to wait downstairs.
