I was very impressed with this place overall. We stayed for two nights in two separate rooms (didn't know we were going to stay an additional night). The lay out of the rooms worked well, with two sinks in each room. The remote controls were placed in a sanitizing sleeve upon arrival, which I had never seen before but greatly appreciated. The shampoo and conditioner were the best I've ever used at any hotel. I am going to order them so I have at home. The continental breakfast was nice. They had a decent variety of cold and warm food (waffles and also egg sandwiches/burrito's that can be warmed in microwave). The owners were kind and accommodating. I really can't complain about anything. The place was very clean. Great experience. I would stay at this place again in a heartbeat.

Stayed here prior to doing the Rubicon Trail. The hotel was nice, and clean. The ice machine was a plus as we were able to fill all our groups ice chests before leaving. The Wi-Fi was free but a little slow. The breakfast was nice and served 6am-9am. They have a make your own waffle set up, fresh fruit, cereal, hard boiled eggs, muffins, coffee, and packaged/frozen egg sandwiches and breakfast burritos you can heat up. We wish it was served a little longer until 10am but it was still nice. They have a pool which closes as dusk. We wish the pool was open longer (until 10pm) due to the heat. Our group was able to park our trucks and haulers in the large lot behind the hotel, this was a plus as there were 4 and they could acccomodate all of us. =) )

This hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I loved the layout of the bathroom and second sink. The breakfast was really simple (no hot foods) but decent. Location was great for us with where were visiting.

Such gracious hosts! Arrived a bit early and they happily had a room available. Friendly staff! Nice rooms with balcony and sweet swimming pool. We'll surely return.

This is always a nice spot to stay. I love that they're in Camino. Placerville isn't very far away, but it's nice to be able to stay right in Apple Hill.

Good hotel. Easy to find. Was clean and had all the things we needed. You can hear the main highway pretty easily from the balcony, but for the price it isn't the end of the world. Near several places to eat as well. Wherever the pool was, I didn't see it but I also didn't look to hard. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The location and property were great. Be warned that the room heater and refrigerator are VERY noisy (Room 2090 and can annoy you while you try to sleep at night.

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. Room was not well lit, but still nice. Adequate parking. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Best Western website says “pets allowed”, but when I went to check in, was told there was a 1dog limit/room at a maximum of 20lbs. However, I was allowed to stay in one room with 2 dogs (one approx 58 lbs). Also, when I checked in, the front desk was unable to locate my Best Western rewards #… I had to go online to get it for them. Room was tidy, but heater very noisy & went on/off throughout the night. Pillows felt like lumps of styrofoam & most uncomfortable! Sink faucet outside of bathroom leaked at seal. Nothing reported to front desk upon my departure, as had express checkout. Have stayed at better maintained Best Western hotels over the years, but this was only hotel available to me in Pollock Pines at the time.

My family had a wonderful stay. The room was clean, breakfast was very good (nice variety of choices) and the staff was excellent to tend to our needs. I would definitely stay there again.

Generally a very good place to stay in the Pollock Pines area. Price during holidays a bit high, but probably comparable for the quality of the room and services. No fitness room or full breakfast (its a continental breakfast), but not really a problem for me. Very friendly, helpful staff and safe surroundings as far as I can tell. Highly recommended.

This place is awesome. Everyone working here is very welcoming. They even left a key accessible to us when we arrived to check in after hours. AMAZING hospitality!

Older, but nice and clean. Breakfast area is small so get there early if the hotel is crowded. Seems like a good deal for a hotel room in this part of the state.

We had multiple autistic children with us and we were well accommodated. The room, while older and somewhat dated, was cozy and fit our needs. The owner and his family was super sweet and we would probably stay again in similar circumstances. One complaint would be that the room was in disrepair and almost hurt myself and two of our girls. The room was over priced for what we received, but at least the breakfast was decent and hot.

The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of pillows and the staff was very kind and polite.

Best Western Stagecoach is one of the most comfortable and friendly places we've stayed. We appreciate their upbeat attitude and incredibly clean and oh so comfy bed! We weren't able to participate in their breakfast, but I'm sure it was a class act. Everything in the room was updated, with a fridge, microwave, granite, and even a dvd player (could've been Blu-ray). The surroundings of this hotel were beautiful! There was a smaller pool with hot tub, in a gorgeous mountain setting. We had a million pillows to just melt into after a long day of travel. This is definitely the place to stay!

Exceptional customer service! Friendly owner and service staff. The owner went above and beyond to help us get an additional room after a cancellation. Called us immediately and we were able to get it added on to our other reservation. Lifesaver! Clean rooms, decent breakfast and pretty grounds.

Great location, clean rooms! Let's begin, the location is beautiful, hidden in the woods and quiet. Can't hear any freeway noise, just the wind and rain in the woods. The rooms: SUPER CLEAN! I mean wow! I've stayed in a lot of hotels and this is as clean as a 5 star hotel in Monterey! What really really impressed me is the bathroom, a tile shower with spotless white grout. You know how hard it is to keep tile grout mold free?! Not even the window sill had mold, my house isn't even that spotless. Bravo! The amenities: everything you need! A large pool that is well kept, blow dryer, clothes iron, one cup coffee maker, large 40" TV, free breakfast in the morning, heater that gets the room hot super quick! The remote is in its own anti microbial bag, which we all know how often most hotels clean the remote (hint: never) so that was impressive. The staff: the man at the front counter was extremely nice, we arrived at 1:15 AM and probably woke the guy up. He checked us in, gave directions to the room, asked if we needed anything, and smiled nicely the whole time. Not that fake courteous smile, but a genuine happy to help smile. 5/5 would stay again!

Worth the stay nice and clean great personal. Last time I stayed here was over 30yr ago. It's a lot nicer now.

Simple, but very nice hotel.

Great place to stay. I've stayed twice on business and both times were excellent.

No need to second guess this place. Clean rooms, nice management, decent breakfast, and very close to some good restaurants. Oh and don't forget, there is a nice Safeway right down the street if you forget anything for your trip. But about the hotel, the manager was super nice at check-in and check-out. The rooms even have a nice outward facing patio. So many good things about this little place and we'll be back for our next trip to the Sierras. :-)

Convenient location, great service.

We stay here for one night every year during Apple Hill and it is always quite pleasant. The staff is very friendly and the complimentary breakfast has a large variety of food. Will continue to stay here each year.

Very clean, professional, nice rooms with all the comforts including Wi-Fi. Check in was fast and easy. Special thanks to the Manager/Desk clerk for noticing the radiator fluid leaking out of my truck before I drove to Death Valley. I think you saved my life!

Good spot. Plus I left my jacket there and they were really cool about sending it right away.

Want to give a big thanks to Gilbert the Manager. My sister's 20 year old car decided the windy mountin roads were too much and refused to start right after we arrived. Gilbert checked the oil and engine light (yes, we had an engine light) and assured us that the car would be fine if we just let it cool down. He was right. The rooms are really clean and comfortable. The only negative comment is how the AC blows right down on the bed from a vent high up on the wall. Overall I woud recommend Gilbert's motel to anyone.
