Review of Staybridge Suites Palmdale, an IHG Hotel 3*

Oh, my gosh. What a pleasant stay! First of all, the customer service here was top notch. Every time I passed an employee they greeted me courteously and politely instead of looking away at the last second to avoid eye contact. This may sound like a minor thing but so often lately most places I go, be it hotels or retail, I get the sense that I'm burdening employees by speaking to them so this was a welcome change. I never got the impression they wanted me to hurry up and go away. The room — or should I say rooms? — — was incredible. The kitchen was a great use of space and had a large amount of amenities despite it's compacts space. There was a full fridge, stive with two burners, microwave, toaster, sink and dish washer. There was an ample array of kitchen supplies like utensils and serving items. The rooms were large and the beds were sublime. I love an abundance of pillows and each bed had four so there wasn't a lack of them. Additionally the rooms were pretty sound proof. We had our big ole German Shepherd puppy with us and from one bedroom to the next in absolute silence I barely heard him whine the one time he felt sorry for himself (because he's a puppy, not because of the room. He loved the powerful air conditioner). Lastly, the breakfast. The selection was good and it tasted delicious but that wasn't the best thing. The best thing was breakfast lasts for THREE HOURS. Most places have breakfast for only two hours but this place had it 6:30 — 9:30. This was such a pleasant stay. I can't wait to come here again.
