Delicious food and fantastic service! We got the 4 course tasting menu — I chose the foie gras (amazing), shrimp risotto (creamy and yummy), prime beef pave, and the cheese course (additional supplement) and it was all so good! We had cocktails the first round, then switched to wine, and the cocktails were divine! The views were amazing, the staff were all professional and really good; it was really a picture perfect dinner to celebrate my birthday!

Outstanding brunch! Wow, this was one of the best brunch we have ever had! First of all, the view! You are on top of The Valley, giving the privilege to this hotel to have such a beautiful view. You can see small wineries and grapes from the terrace of the restaurant. Make sure you reserve at least one month in advance for brunch, it gets sold out! Our food was really good, well cooked and beautiful presented! I would definitely come back to Auberge Du Soleil for brunch or lunch. I loved it!

One of best places to have brunch. Ask to be seated outside weather permitting. Reservations are must have. Gets very busy over weekends specially during summer. We got there few times in year and never disappointed.

The staff and venue were excellent, very attentive and made the stay personal my remembering things and doing the little things that show they are tuned in to offering a great service. That said the food was not in keeping with the rest of the stay. I ate 4 times, once fine dining, once in the bistro and twice for breakfast. I was disappointed every time. I don’t want to be harsh as I really like the place and staff but the breakfast was bordering be a Denny’s or iHop.

Had brunch at the restaurant. It was a $75 prix fixe meal. The starter was amazing. I got the white corn soup in which every sip was rich and had a pure white corn taste. The desserts were also well plated and tasted extraordinary.

I’m not sure what’s better the view of the bone marrow. I dreamt about both of them for days after being there. The bar deck is more relaxed but the service and food is as good as the main dining room.

I haven't stayed in every place in Napa valley, but I gotta believe this place is the best. Exceptional location with gorgeous valley views. We were there during Bottlerock and the place was 100% full, but you'd never know it. Lots of privacy in an incredible setting. The rooms are impeccable. Lots of amenities, great spa, fantastic food. Fantastic sculptures throughout the property. It is expensive but delivers the value. Highly recommended.

This place is incredible. Really friendly staff and bartenders, Jamie was a great day-of wedding coordinator, and the food is some of the best I've had at a wedding. The views over the Central Valley are also fantastic. Highly recommend.

Beautiful venue for a wedding with the most incredible food I've ever had at a reception and excellent, helpful staff. Officiated a wedding here and Jamie was a great help making sure everything ran smoothly and efficiently. The view was unbeatable as well and the bartenders were attentive and friendly.

Attended a wedding here… Views were lovely, and the food was decent, although portion sizes were tiny (good for me, since I'm petite, but not so great for anyone else). I was kind of expecting something a bit more wowing given the Michelin star, but preparing food for crowds is never really easy. It was really good for wedding food, I suppose. Layout of the reception area was odd… There was one room where the bride and groom and half the guests sat, and then an overflow room with the other half, where we couldn't see anything. There was also just one bathroom stall for everyone, I think. One of the bartenders had a bit of an attitude towards a couple of my fellow guests, but the rest of the staff were great and very attentive. Overall, it was nice… Can't complain too much about open bar in a pretty locale. People had fun; that's what matters!

Wonderful place, recommended 1000% wonderful place, 1000% recomended!

Everything was great, good, service, etc. As it should be at over $400 for the three course option, but… they accidentally spilled soup on my wife's blouse and jacket. They responded quickly to help cleanup. The manager gave a verbal apology, end of story. When they brought the bill, no mention, no consideration. The server never apologized and when I asked her about it, she remarked "Well, didn't my manager come over? " Really, is that how they treat we normal folk? I asked to have the bill reviewed and they gave us 10% off, but never considered offering to pay for cleaning her silk blouse. Again overall, good, but don't expect respect.

Visited the restaurant! Fantastic ambient, and wonderful service. Food was very good too but I missed the cherry on the top. Recommended though. Probably one of the best spots in Napa for a lunch/ dinner with a view…

This continues to be one of our two favorite stops for lunch in the Napa Valley. We love sitting out on the deck overlooking the vineyards off in the distance. The view is picturesque and relaxing. My favorite things to order are a glass of wine, oysters and the hamburger & fries. The perfect compliment to a day of wine tasting.

The brunch are good and the service is perfect. The white rather the waiter recommended is perfect to our food. We ordered rib and fish. The food itself is fresh and re chief made it delicious. The white wine of Grgich Hills is dry but heavy flavor that fits to our sins. The scene is perfect and is good to come back in the future.

Absolutely phenomenal restaurant! I was fortunate enough to enjoy a 5-course meal with my family here. Drinking a nice glass of wine while enjoying breath-taking views of the valley as the sun goes down. Perfect.

Went to the restaurant for a mother's day dinner. Went early to have drinks on the patio at the bar. The sun was glaring right on the table and server was unable to use the umbrellas. For dinner they were very accommodating since we did have to children with us. The menu had a nice selection however the majority of the entrees had lobster in them which for a person with a seafood allergy was a bit difficult. The desserts were amazing and the wait staff was kind and very professional.

Enjoyed lunch at Auberge. The food was excellently prepared, fresh, and creative. The asparagus bisque was the hit at our table. Our only problem was a late delivery of a glass of wine with our main course. The wine was delivered to the wrong table. Having a four course meal including halibut, house salad, scallops, and desert left me barely satisfied. The appetizer, main entree, and desert approached micro-food sizes while the salads appeared to be substantial. Some salads were entree sized. Wearing walking shoes, khaki shorts, and an untucked, short-sleeved collared shirt, I felt right at home. Neither under or over dressed. Overall, the experience was enjoyable.

Truly incredible. The atmosphere was really perfect; the view was stunning; the servers were perfectly attentive, yet not pushy; and the food… I went with the four course meal, starting with the Grilled Octopus, which was perfectly cooked. Then came the cappelletti with peas, which was the best pasta I've had in forever. For my main course, I had the steak with braised short rib and asparagus. The short rib was no tender I forgot I had been given a knife, the asparagus was perfectly seasoned, and the steak… Oh that steak… I wish only to say it was perfect.

My family and I went to Auberge du Soleil for a light dinner and drinks. We had about three bottles of wine and a couple drinks, and all were very good. The service was excellent, except for later in the night and the terrace was more empty, and it became harder to find a server. The frites were mediocre, they were crispy, but too thin and without skin. The aoili served with them was unremarkable. All the other food we had was fantastic. We ordered the flat bread, clams, pizza du jour, calamari, and oysters on the half shell. For dessert, we had two different kinds of sundaes, a chocolate torte, and sorbet. Our party had an allergy to dairy, and they were very receptive.

We came to celebrate a birthday at the bar and bistro and it was beautiful. The service was excellent and the food was delicious but the view of wine country was the best part. The food menu at the bar area was a little bit limited and portions weren't really for sharing except for the appetizers but still savory all the same. Highly recommend the clams and dessert section. The wine was excellent.

Over all good, not great. They messed up my aunts vegetarian salad and we found raw calamari in it? My sandwich was great and I enjoyed the wine, just disappointed for my aunt. She lost her appetite after that,

I love Auberge! Restaurant review: I've eaten here many times but also was married here. I can't say enough about the quality of the food, out of this world! The gnocchi is the best I've ever had, the foie is always amazing, the views are gorgeous, the staff is friendly (though service can be quite slow), the wine list is robust, all around 5 star experience for a special occasion or a nice lunch/brunch/dinner with a view. Hotel accommodations: I stayed at Auberge for 5 nights during and after my wedding. We were given the royal treatment and were blown away by the whole experience. They really made us feel special and wouldn't change a thing. From snacks and wine and champagne brought to the room and refilled often. Not sure what the treatment is like for someone not getting married here, but it was a wonderful experience.

Exceptional service at the pool bar from Sergio. Food was excellent at the Bar Bistro. Clayton was very friendly and was able to provide an extra option not available on the regular menu. Room was amazing with a great view. The Spa was wonderful.

We had high expectations coming to this place, after all it was given 1 Michelin Star. Food was decent, but not as good as we had hoped. Service was good, but nothing exceptional. We did enjoy our view overlooking the grounds and the vineyards in the distance. We won't go back the next time we are in Napa. It was expensive for what it was.

We ate at the bistro which provides a nice view of the area. The burger and the calamari taste great. Unfortunately we did not have a reservation and we had to wait 30 minutes to get a seat outside on the terrace, so make sure to make a reservation. The staff was not too friendly but the overall experience was good.

This is a review of the Auberge Restaurant. Last night — 4/29/16, we dined on the balcony which has a phenomenal view. My husband and two adult sons were with me. I live in Napa Valley and I've dined in most of the restaurants in the area. Auberge is the best. If you want to feel as though you've flown to France for a day without having to step on a plane, this is the place to be. Very elegant. Service is impeccable. Even the valets are very professional. We've been there twice — both times selecting their 3 course meal. And the little details, down to Strauss buttermolded into round shapes and then served with the freshest warm bread, it's just an unbelievable experience.

Good menu, food was prepared perfectly. The prime beef was tender and delicious. Loved the additional finishing that was provided.

The chef thought he was Jesus and going to feed the whole restaurant with one loaf of bread and two fish, aka very small plates. Great wine, good service, not worth dressing up for though.

I personally thought it was overrated. The food and service are good, don't get me wrong, but we have had better and cheaper experiences in Michelin-starred and non Michelin-starred restaurants.

Great location, simple food and good service.

Having arrived at the Auberge after a long day of travel and business with about 30 minutes to spare for a hot bath before dinner, I was very disappointed to have only slightly tepid water with which to do so. Upon calling the front desk, we were sent a maintenance man who first attempted to blame us for using the bath and shower at the same time, which we had not (my husband was answering emails and had not planned on taking a shower before dinner), then instructed us to wait for about 30 minutes and we would have hot water. As this had already eaten up about 20 minutes of my bath time, there was no time left. Having said that, the remainder of the trip was lovely. Both the dinner and the breakfast were delicious. The food was superb; inventive, creative and flavorful (and that sourdough bread! ). The service was friendly and impeccable; polite and attentive yet not overbearing (and again, those chocolate dusted almonds, mmmm…. ) The room beautiful and offered everything a traveler might need, and then a few extras!. And the non-smokey fireplace was perfect. The bed was comfortable, the parking was just across from the room for quick and easy check out. I really wanted to give this a lesser star as mentioned earlier, but everything else made such a wonderful impression and created a great memory, it's worth the five stars.

We were a party of four with reservations and high expectations in anticipation of our dinner at this famed Napa resort. Unfortunately we were sadly disappointed. The table we reserved was given away. Sitting in the direct setting sunlight was uncomfortable for the first 1/2 hour. The food service could not have been slower. The food was better on the menu than on the tongue. It was ok. For all the reputation it has had……. Was it a party downstairs for the golfers or was it just……bad service.

Phenomenal food. My favorite was the beef pave. Pro tip: you can order 3 entrees if you want (vs 1 appetizer, 1 second course, and 1 entree). The service was less impressive. We had to ask for our heaters to be turned on at least 5 times before they were. The view was good but less impressive than I was expecting given the reputation.

This is truly an experience. Three or four course menus. Every bite is an explosion of flavor. Don't miss the desserts. The service and views are impeccable.

Amazing meal and very accommodating to a family with an 18 month old. We sat on the terrace and they brought us a shall for Ellie after the sun went down, she fell asleep almost immediately after dinner as we enjoyed dessert. Epic wine list too, the 2007 Quill 100% Cab from Diamond Mountain was eloquently.
