We have been coming to Vino Bello since they first opened. This time we were in the Chardonnay Building. When we walked in, the room smelled like cigarettes. Called the front desk and they sent housekeeping to spray perfume. We were only staying 2 nights so OK we didn't make a fuss. Around 845pm, the ceiling in the foyer started leaking. Called front desk, no answer. Called Concierge, the lady said she will send maintenance. 10 minutes later, the light bulb in the kitchen started leaking as well. Called front desk, still no answer. Call concierge and she said she will let the front desk manager know. Waited 15 minutes and my husband went to the front desk and the front desk manager said she knows nothing about our issues. My husband showed her the videos of the leaking ceilings and she said since Vino Bello is full, she will move us to a room in Meritage. On Sunday before we checked out, I noticed that there was a pending charge of $1700+ on my credit card from Meritage. Spoke with Front Desk Manager Kristy and she said no problem, we are reversing it right now. There will be no charge to our credit card. A few days later, there was a charge to our credit card for $1700. Called Meritage, no manager or accounting is available. Called again, left messages for manager and accounting. Accounting called back but told me there's nothing she can do. Transferred me to manager and I left another message. So far, no callbacks. Not only is the room leaking and smoky but now I have to spend time trying to get the hotel to give me my money back.
