Beautiful views from the small outdoor dining area in back. Dogs are allowed and many were visiting during our meal so it might be best to be mindful: don't bring your rambunctious animals as they will be the center of attention and ruin others dining experiences. There were three dogs and four sets of diners during our visit and the dogs were just at the edge of being tolerable — AND I Love Dogs. My point is we humans are paying for a pleasant dining experience and should be able to eat our food and talk comfortably as human guests of this small restaurant.
Truly, the food is really fresh and simple, though thoughtfully combined and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunches of caprese chicken sandwich, burger, and cheese plate from the homemade pickle to the light, refreshing rhubarb spread. You can taste each and every ingredient in your food—see if I’m lying!

We love Trillium! This is a must stop on any Mendocino visit! Everything is fresh, locally sourced and very prepared! Make a reservation a head of time here as it does get booked up on weekends. Enjoy!
