This was by far the worse than ALL of the many hotels I've stayed in while traveling to third world countries! It was as if someone really dirty lived in the room for a few months, and then moved out and the hotel didn't bother cleaning the room. When we arrived the lights in the room were off, as was the air conditioner, the room felt like 100 degrees, the door latch was broken off on one side, floor was covered in a layer of dirt and debris like it hasn't been swept or mopped in a LONG, LONG TIME, there was even a PENNY on the floor! Walls had scuffs and stains all over, the dresser and nightstand were covered in a layer of dirt, the sheets and pillows were stained, had dirt and hair on them, and smelled like they haven't been laundered, towels had yellow stains, toilet had dried urine stains, pink ring around the water, and some stuff floating in it, there was barely any toilet paper on a roll, the ice bucket has dirt on it, the bathroom vent was covered layer of dirt and lint, shower was dirty, and the fridge wasn't getting cold at all, and there was no parking available, Since we were exhausted and this was the only room available we phoned the front desk and asked for some clean sheets. We were given three sheets and two pillow cases for two beds. The sheets we were given didn't smell clean either, so we slept in our clothes and tried not to touch anything.   Motel 6 customer service is non existent.

I was very please with the room. It was clean and I loved that it had a tub & shower. Appreciate that a microwave & refrigerator was in the room at no additional cost. Loved that vanity & sink was separate from bathroom. Pool was closed which was bad considering how hot it was. Front desk was very nice & professional. She helped me find all the stores. It was a safe location & I will definitely continue to use this location on my trips.

Room was nice and clean, fully stocked with towels,, toilet paper and soap. Direct TV worked with no problems. Room was upstairs and non smoking.

Checking-in was easy and quick. I like the parking lot, spacious and close to the room. Only if the morning coffee can be a little bit better, then it will be perfect.

I have stayed here before & it had always been clean & affordable. However, this time the bathroom in room was dirty. It had long black hairs all over the floor and bath. Toilet had blood stains along with fecal stains. I checked in at 1am so I didn't want to go through the hassle of moving rooms. I had to clean bathroom myself with my clorox wipes. Very dissappointed this time around.

Horribly stiff beds and no extra pillows. A good place to stop when driving though, easy to access and small restaurants nearby.

Reception late at night was pleasant, efficient, and friendly. Room was very clean, and air conditioning worked well. Far enough away from the freeway so the place was quiet. Great price for the quality.

Fixtures were updated but a little run down. Maintenance on items was apparently deferred. Got what I expected for the price. M6 is fine for a quick overnight but I wouldn't plan an extended vacation there.

Cheap room that is clean with modern amenities. Your dog is welcome. How could you not give it five stars.

Car broke down on New year's Eve a mile outside of lost hills. Had to special order the parts for my BMW 540i. Stood for a week at this motel borrow before my parts came in. I got the ok from the front desk to fix the car in the parking lot. An hour after checkout I was finishing up the job and a lady from the front desk comes up and hands me her cell. On the line was the owner threatening to call the police if I didn't leave his property immediately. I was shocked! I told him I made sure to get permission from the front deck before I started but he didn't care for my words. He wanted me off. Said he was watching me through his cameras. Wish I never gave him my business. Never will again.

The room was small and dark. Really noisy. There isn't much in Lost Hills. I've stayed in much better Motel 6 properties. This one was disappointing.

The bed was comfortable and I felt safe. Shower temperature was luke-warm; I would have preferred warmer. The room smelled strongly of cleaning products; I had to keep the fan running all night to make the smell bearable. I've been in a Motel 6 with much better set-up, better smell, and more up-to-date.

I have stayed at this Motel 6 at least twice before and was pleased with the experience. This time it was very unpleasant — — the city had shut down the water supply to the hotel. I was told that there wouldn't be water until 5 or 6 am the next morning. I decided to stay and delay a shower till then. Unfortunately, there was still no water at 8 when I had to leave. Although the lack of water was not the motel's fault, the motel could have provided guests with bottled water, hand wipes, and a discount. Good management could have made the situation easier for guests.

For the price, we got a decent room. Everything was clean, except for the line which had some stains. But the room was a modelled one, and away from the main highway, which meant it was less noisy. Had a TV with DirecTV cable and free Wi-Fi. No free breakfast but a morning coffee at the office. Overall, decent accommodation for a night.

I really enjoyed my stay so comfortable n clean room n cean bathroom … you need to serve breakfast but the price was great n the call center was. Quick to help me n find me a room at a late check in LOVE YOU MOTEL 6 you are awesome!

For a stop in the middle of the night it wasn't really that bad. Sheets were clean and the shower was hot and had great pressure. Bathroom over all could use some work but hell, it's a motel 6 by a bunch of truck stops. I'm most thankful for no knocks on the door in the middle of the night.

Decent motel to stay while traveling hwy 5, cleaner than most. Bed was in good condition, very important when paying just for a place to sleep while traveling.

Unfortunately, the major issues that bring the overall score down are things that can't be fixed. The truck stop noise of diesel trucks left running overnight, the noisy motel guests, the dairy farm smell of the entire area are just problems inherent to being a motel on the side of I-5 in the Central Valley. Taking those things into account, I have adjusted my ratings up and rated only on things under the management's control. The bedspread was a bit dirty, but that gets pulled off immediately anyway. -On the plus side, for $43/nt and with the new Motel 6 standards, it was above my expectations. HDTV with Direct TV and HBO/Cinemax, mini-fridge, and microwave. Not bad, M6, not bad.

Decent location, great price with a lot of TV channels and free Wi-Fi. Also had a fridge and microwave! The low flow toilet got clogged with even a little toilet paper and there was no phone in the room. Cleanliness and size was adequate, but the lack of a clock was strange. Although the truck stop across the street was noisy it was acceptable. Overall good deal for the price.

Always a pleasant stay. AC broke, but the staff brought me a fan. My room stayed cool. So I was satisfied. Other than that, very pleasant stay. I always have a pleasant stay at this property.

No-frills, low priced rooms, but facility, although a bit older, is kept clean. Conveniently located off of I-5 for easy access. Would recommend as a good place to lay your head for the night while traveling.

This is your average Motel 6. It was acceptably clean. The AC worked although it took a while to cool off our room since it was so intensely hot outside. Our parking was right outside our room which was very convenient. We had a dog with us and there was no extra charge or any issue. The area has several takeout restaurants very close by as well as gas stations so it's a pretty great place to stop if you're on a trip and need a night's rest. The only small issue was groom was a bit noisy as you could hear everyone crunching over your head but I think that's true for most of these older hotel rooms. And the other problem was there was a gap underneath the door and a field across the parking lot and so the result was the wind had blown dirt underneath the door and apparently the room wasn't cleaned that day so the entire floor had dust on it. It was slightly annoying. But the beds were pretty comfortable and we got some good channels on the TV and there's a little fridge in there so that was convenient so overall a great place to stay for a night or two especially considering the price is very reasonable.

Everything aok. Plenty of grass for our puppy. Our dog likes Motel 6 because someone at Motel 6 loves dogs for sure. The room was clean and everything worked. We were on the front where there is quite a bit of truck noise so rooms away from the access road to Love's would be quieter.

Nice helpful staff. Good amenities compared to other Motel 6 locations. Great price for two beds, pool, laundry service, etc. Conveniently located next to restaurants and gas stations. Lastly, who wouldn't love the toads!

The room was clean and quiet, but several small things need repair. The table rocked so much that a cup of coffee spilled all over when I sat down, it was fortunate that it didn't get on some paper work I had laid out on the table. Also, at least half of the lights in the room didn't work. The staircase railings are dirty and need paint, and the walk way is heavily stained and could use a powerwash. There was also a large and dirty looking washer or dryer just sitting near the stair case, as if it was in the process of being moved, but the job couldn't be finished till the next day. That's understandable, but it would have looked a lot better if it had been moved well to the side, and maybe covered with with a tarp. On a more positive side, the office staff were efficient and friendly and I got my wake up call when requested. Nice shower, too. One thing I really dislike is a room that smells bad or strange, and this one smelled perfectly nice. All in all it was a good experience. BTW, it would be a lot easier to write this review if the typeface wasn't this difficult to see pale gray. Why isn't it black, what's the point of making it harder to see than it needs to be?

All comments are true but having paid triple elsewhere over the July 4th this is awsome w/o a reservation.

The motel was in a convenient location on our way to Disneyland and had a good A/C system to cool us down in the hot weather. It also had a pool.

Good cheep room and it's clean! Only problem is not to much hot water.

The best cable line up I've ever seen in a motel… every channel… every one… comfy, clean, QUIET! Brand new AC-heater in every room. Really nice compared to most M6. The Kern wildlife refuge was a delight to go visit. If you need a place to rest this a is great.

Siempre que vengo a visitar a mi familia me gusta hospedarme en motel 6 de Lost Hills, Ca. Porque es muy comodo y muy tranquilo y ademas es muy economico porque como tengo 4 hijos y los niños son gratis entonces me ahorro mucho dinero.

How about 105 TV channels to start. Very clean rooms. Be careful driving in, the road in front is a pot hole disaster. The front desk folk are very cordial. I rate this Motel 6 a 5, for Motel 6's. One more thing, there is a truck stop on the east side across the pot hole ridden road that is operating 24/7 and can be a bit noisy with your room window open.

Great experience. Super convenient to stay from I-5, with plenty of parking for our moving truck. I would stay there again.

I stay here often If U R A lite sleeper try to stay in the back or north side. Trucks run all night. I am not a lite sleeper trucks makes it hard to sleep. Other than that you will have a nice stay.

Wow! What a pleasant surprise! Attentive efficient front desk staff. Newly remodeled room. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Even a bathtub with lots of hot water. My best ever experience at a Motel 6. Better than most motel experiences of any sort. Did not expect this on an Exit off of I-5 when I was too tired to drive anymore.

Clean room, everything working, good shower, fridge microwave Wi-Fi. Newer digital heater better than most other motels in the same class.

I was worried about staying here based on the reviews but the room was very clean and updated. The front desk gal was very nice, too. My only complaint was the overwhelming chemical smell. Unfortunately, it is common place. I had to drop my rating because I still can't breathe in here. I have had a wash cloth over my mouth. I really hope they stop using it so excessively!

Amazing price and great staff. Perfect place to end a long day of driving.

Room was so clean the shower is big enough for two. They have direct TV 500 channels we were amazed. The bed was comfy, my back did not hurt the next day. Why cant all motel 6 be like this.

First impression was, wow this thing needs updated. The curtain had what appeared to be a blood stain on it. The pillows were inadequate for any normal human. There was mildew of some sort in the shower. The bathroom, at some point, appears to have been painted by a 3 year old. Incomplete drywall repairs all over the room (mud, but no texture or paint, and you can tell it's been that way for years). All of this I'd overlook if I could've gotten any sleep, but they were to many things stacked against me. They have one of the double beds literally pushed up against their defective hvac unit, so whomever gets that nearest spot is either going to be melting or freezing as it kicks on and off. Making it impossible to sleep. Add on the fact that there is no door seal on the door to the outside whatsoever, allowing any outdoor noise to freely enter, and this room is a disaster. As for cleanliness, you could definitely smell a musky stale old smoke smell, and you feel like you need to wear shoes to walk on the carpet. I read somewhere that all of these rooms were renovated "top to bottom". This is an outright joke. I wish I had just driven through the night instead of stopping here.

We arrived in the middle of the night and we were surprised by how nice our room was. I was expecting a run down motel but it was very clean inside at a great rate. It looked newly remodeled with a very clean bathroom and bed.

Rude, unaccomidating, room freshener overwhelming to cover the smoking rooms. Won't stay here again.

It was late at night and I was driving down Interstate 5 and had to stop as I was really sleepy. Desk clerk was fast checking me in and gave me the type of room I needed. Room was very clean and remodeled. Rate was good. Will stay here again if I am in the area.
