I booked the room online and entered my card information. When we got there, the man at the front desk said that my payment didn't go through (a little weird). When we walked into the room, everything seemed fine. Then we noticed there were ants everywhere… On the door, pillows, bed and shower. Somewhere during the night, the fridge started to leak and I stepped in a big pile of water. In the morning when I tried to return the room key, there weren't any employees to hand it too.

Generally it was what expected for price paid. However, some minor things made stay less comfortable as customary were before: no shampoo, only two small soap, only two pillows, no wake up call as required. Room cleanliness could have been better.

There was continued problems with the TV. You could not change the channels, it was hard. Then the channel's you wanted to watch asked for money but you couldn't pay, the hotel said we should be able to just watch it. It was just a mess. It caused my relaxing time, not so relaxing.

The room smells good when you enter but the room is very dirty. The vents, floors, and bathrooms need more detailed cleaning. The staff are very rude and not friendly.

Rooms are nicely remodeled. I would recommend this motel 6 if your in a need of a place to stay in the area.

The sheets were dirty. Service not so good this but it's okay to sleep alone for a while.

Nice place for the price very clean. The night manager is very friendly and nice. Check in was a breeze. Rooms has microwave and refrigerator. The Wi-Fi is very fast. The room are a decent size. They also serve hot coffee. My only complaint is I wish the pillows were more comfortable. The neighborhood is nice. No bums or anyone hanging out. I highly recommend this place.

Newly remodeled really nice place great area huge and updated completely modern and different from your other motels it's just really nice to see updated rooms such as those these ones I wish I took some pictures but I will next time.

This is a cut above the usual Motel 6 locations I have previously stayed. The rooms have been recently updated with platform beds, built in furniture and recessed lighting. New flooring and brand new fixtures make for a beautiful bathroom with tub. A "kitchenette" with microwave and fridge is a bonus. A fabulous satellite line-up provided icing on the cake. We barely left the room! QUITE comfortable. Roshni, the manager, helped get us out of a reservation at a nearby motel and gave us a discount on our second day to boot. I HIGHLY recommend this South El Monte location, conveniently located just off the the south side of the 60 FWY at the Peck-Durfee Rd exit.

We stayed in October 2006 for a night here. The room we had previously booked online and paid. Everything worked out great. The motel is easily accessible, next door there is a petrol station with a Subwayfiliale. The room was equipped as usual with two king size beds, bathroom, desk etc and is enough to stay overnight. The breakfast consisted of welded snails of different taste and coffee from the vending machine. Parking can be done directly in front of the door, annoying suitcase towing is not necessary. You don't get anything from the nearby highway.

Pet friendly, mini fridge and microwave, the good! The bad, careless, poor and rude customer service :/ Woman at front desk is so arrogant, maybe not the right job for her, looks like she hates customers, another thing, is the poor cleaning at the rooms, they are so dirty, bathtub with stains and hairs, stinky and brownish pillows, stained towels, trash in floors, even found a fake eyelash on top of microwave! Rooms smell like trash can with cigarettes. Bunch of homeless people walking around the premises, NO SECURITY at all, which makes me feel so unsafe, Definitely, needs attention! I will go to Rosemead instead.

Very clean and spacious. Has Semi Truck parking. Pet friendly. Has refrigerator and microwave in rooms. Flat screen TV with Direct TV. Nice decor, friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again. Very happy with the room.

0000 ZERO STARS 0000 OVERPRICED AND INFESTED! This motel was an old Days Inn that is camouflaged with a face-lift in order to charge more money. The walls have a cockroach and spider infestation. It was disgusting and unsanitary. They charged us $95/night for the luxury of sleeping in the middle of an infestation. Apparently, they are aware of the infestation because when I brought it to their attention, she asked me how big were the cockroachs. The night time desk attendant was an arrogant and ignorant bully. He said "he didn't have to listen to anything I had to say". He didn't want to hear my concerns about the homeless people that were walking in between the cars looking for something to steal. Since he didn't want me to call the police, I concluded that he splits the profits with whatever the homeless people pawn. He told me that I needed to stay inside my room and mind my own business. When I tried to explain to management at checkout, they didn't want to hear it. Right next to the motel is a homeless camp with blue tarps and makeshift shacks. Considering all the pros and cons, the room was not worth anything near $95. If your health, safety, and personal property is threatened, the room isn't worth more than $29. Don't let the camouflage face-lift fool you! They literally are a bunch of thieves! Apparently, nothing has changed. I will never stay there again!

Theres no security in the facility area theres homeless knokin at your door at night asking for cigarrets. Bad exprience at this location.

Updated room but it definitely needs to be cleaned better. Also the shower was luke warm at best.

Very poor my experience, for what they charged me too much money $120 daily for almost a month. And now that I want the receipts, it turns out that they do not exist.

I use Motel 6, for many of my clients, as a professional fiduciary with the courts. I have had all positive and good experience ALWAYS-until this experience with this one franchise. First they would not honor my prepaid reservation with your national reservation center and forced me to drive 180 mile round trip to check-in my client as a guest. They would not honor my credit-card until I physically presented myself, even though I was not the guest and my credit-card had already been "authorized" by your national reservation center and I had an authorization number. Second, when I arrived, the desk clerk had a bad attitude with a capital A. While I will continue to use Motel 6 for my clients, I will never ever use this particular franchise property again, and will be sure and tell all of my colleagues to also avoid them.

Rooms are very nice and clean. Only down side is office staff would not give change to wash clothes and soda vending machine only has Diet Coke in it. Staff could be a little nicer.

Everytime I go… Always clean. Staff is curtious. Thats why I always go back to the same one.

Broke motel, there's AC, able to turn on but not even fan level. Called more than 5 times to request for room change they didn't allow and told us just leave the AC on, it'll be on and off every 15 mins. The problem is that it's not even fan level when it's on.

I travel at least once a month. I have NEVER been in a room that is so discussing, dirty, and smelled as BAD as the room I was in at this hotel The sheets looked like they weren't even changed prior to my stay. I was absolutely terrified to even lay down on the bed. Bugs inside the room flying around. I am so disappointed with this hotel. The staff in front while check in was rude. The whole time he was checking me in he had his iPhone headphones in and playing music. I felt unwanted and felt like I was even bothering him.

Never again. Room was dirty. Used toilet paper in the bathroom. Fridge was filthy. Floor was dirty. Room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it smelled like cigarette. Phone wasnt working. Would never stay in any motel 6 ever again.

I had an amazing stay at the Motel 6 in South El Monte. The location was great. The rooms are newly renovated. The Motel 6 was very clean and nice. The Price may be expensive but, it is worth it. I would for sure come back to stay at the Motel 6 in South El Monte.

I have to respect this Motel 6. They have found a way to put flooring for function in a modern way that is utilitarian yet very clean and nice. The bed was extremely comfortable the TV was flat screen excellent visual. The bathrooms and vanity were super clean and I appreciate what they done with-it in a utilitarian type of way. I would recommend this Motel 6 and only give it 4 stars because it is a utilitarian feel versus a lush carpeted type of hotel feel. If cleanliness and modern is your appreciation you will like this Motel 6!

Nice place when it's finished it's under construction, nice people with truck parking.

Hotel is clean. I think they are under staffed though. Check in took hours.

First the good news, This is the Taj Mahal of motel 6, slabs of marble in the bathroom with beautiful high end fixtures, whisper quiet bathroom fan, actual toilet seats with covers (you may take this for granted until you don't have it, many don't) — huge room. They used teal instead of orange, inset overhead lighting, I love it. New everything. Fridge… no other local m6 had that. The! HUGE! downside they are still under construction and the area to walk dogs is… a flippin nightmare… non existent, no laundry, or pool, no chairs in the room yet. They are working on it. I'll update my review once the reno is complete. I docked stars because of the staff (housekeeping was sweet, mgmt was lacking) and the complete negligence to provide coffee or any apology about not having coffee. How hard is it to brew some Joe… had to go to $tarbucks everyday. The construction debris hurt my dogs paw and they really need to fix the landscaping… It's desolate… And good luck getting someone at the front desk… I can't recommended this location yet. But the potential for M6 greatness is there.

All rooms are currently being renovated. I stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms and I can say that I was surprised at how nice and comfortable it was. New hardwood floors, granite countertops and a brand new wall mounted flatscreen. The Wi-fi was non existent. Couldn't even connect. I'll chock that up to the construction that was going on. All in all, not a bad stay…

The first room we got the conditioner didn't work the online reservation said refrigerator, and microwave, iron with ironing board, blow dryer it didn't have anything then we got moved to a different room had the refrigerator microwave but none of the other stuff andto top it off in the restroom saw a roach I will never rena room at the rodeway inn city of industry.

If this is the last hotel available in town, kill yourself before you stay here. Just read all the other reviews and you will know why.

Horrible ass hotel DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The lights barely work. Non smoking room smells like straight cigarettes! TV barely works… I could go on but the point is DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Three words to describe this place dirty, old and fleas. Lots and lots of fleas. Everything inside that room was old and dirty.

I've been there for 16 days. The room smells really bad and real dark because of those weak lights. Moreover, a lot of noise from the nearby freeway.

Gross place. We ask for a room with two beds and the guy asked if we had pets and I said a small dog. He said ok. Then we went to the room. And it only took like 3 minutes. Bed bugs started to crawl on my older son. We called the office and it was the same guy when we check in. He said are you sure its that? I said yes look and he return with maybe your dog has It. I was. Wtf so I pulled both bed to the side and both beds had it. And still he said its your dog. I told him look at those stains. Thats not new thats old.

Nasty, and very gross. There were some bugs, I was afraid there were going to be more. The door looked nasty and moldy. Didn't even stay the night, couldn't do it.

If I could give less than 1 star I would! When I tried booking a room to the hotel on Beverly Blvd a system error occurred that booked me to a hotel in South El Monte, I called to have it fixed but there were no more bookings available. When a refund was trying to be obtained the hotel denied a full refund and only refunded less than half! It wasn't even 5 minutes after I had booked that I called to have it fixed.

Who freaking rents rooms by the hour anymore? Rude ppl and expensive for the ugly rooms. We left after 1 hour went back to our place.

This is likely the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I usually pay 300+ a night for a hotel, but this was last minute. Ended up getting really good customer service with everything you need supplied. Definitely a good value.

Best Experience ever in a hotel! Friendly service, clean rooms, Strong water pressure in shower complete with massage shower nozzle. The staff goes out of there way to make sure you are happy with your stay, Thank you and I will gladly come back, next time in area.

ROACH MOTEL! I was low on money so I booked on Hotwire thinking I would get a nice room at a cheap price. At the Rodeway Inn I was joined in my room by 1.5 inc big cockroach. I chewed out the clerk, left and booked a room at Motel 6 where I've never had a problem. This place is roach infested, avoid it.

After travelling all day with two teens and an infant to an unknown motel. We were fearful of what to expect. However I will say the rooms were descent and clean. Not fancy but better than I expected. I have a picky 16 year old. Who was pleased. Good for a sleepover. We booked adjoining rooms that worked fine to acccomodate all of us and luggage. Met all our needs, clean barfridge and wireless. The only drawback is the highway nearby.
