Review of American Inn & Suites 2*

This hotel is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. It is extremely ghetto and dangerous. There is lots if criminal activity taking place here out in the open all day and night. It is super sketchy to walk from the back parking lot to your room. Lots of gangsters, drug addicts, and junkies here. During my month stay here, I witnessed the cops here almost every day because of people fighting. There are domestic issues here between couples all the time, you can hear people fighting in nearby rooms and actually hear the rumbling going on inside the room, then you hear a crying female running out the door with some dude yelling behind her to get back inside, while kids inside the room are crying because their mom just got beat up by the boyfriend. It's complete drama here everyday. Even the kids who are always playing outside are up to no good, and I have seen them putting other kids up in corners, pushing them and threatening them. And 2 days before I left here, there was a huge brawl out in the parking lot between 2 females, then their boyfriends came out and jumped in along with some kids, and everybody was literally stomping each other out in the parking lot. And the worst thing about it, is that it happened near the motel front office, with the owner standing outside the office watching the whole thing and he didn't do anything at all about it and never said anything to anyone and the cops were never even called. The management and staff here know all these thugs and tend to favor them and cover for them. I have personally seen a particular staff member inside another guest's room getting high with them. This motel is extremely ghetto, trashy, and dangerous, and really needs new management or to be shut down. I would not recommend anyone to stay here, especially if you've got kids, or are from out of town, or have a nice car. I've seen several cars here stripped and broken into in the back parking lot, since that's where alot of thugs like to hang out drinking and getting high. If you do decide to come here, stay at your own risk, and don't say you weren't warned!
