Uncomfortable beds, parking is an expensive nightmare and confusing as heck… You have to park around the block and use a series of parking validation to get in and out. Room has weird sliding mirror as a door that doesn't lock and doesn't stay closed… Windows are filthy… Lighting missing lightbulbs and curtains are crooked and really wonky. It's like a "modern" refurbishment gone totally wrong. Avoid this.

Room great. Water pressure sucked in such a great looking shower. And as my room did not come with free bkfest which I understand as I asked how much for the bkfest it was 39 bucks for sum buffet bkfest. They had a great burger n fries for 20 bucks burger fries n a 5buck water. Bed was comfy no issues. Staff nice. Friendly. Front desk had skinny girl so nice.

Customer service is excellent. And everything is 24/7. Sir Nathan McNutt thanks boss! Shuttle is pretty cool if you are running late. It’s pretty close to LAX fly away stops too.

A nice, good hotel near the airport. The room is cozy but the windows are very dirty. It's a nice pool. The restaurant has good food. There is a shuttle to the airport but the driver is unfriendly.

Fantastic service. Staff was awesome, helpful, and a pleasure to talk to. The rooms were well kept, clean, and setup very nicely. The shuttle service was a fantastic bonus. The food available in the hotel was delicious and not terribly expensive. Overall a great stay and a place that will be our regular layover spot from now on.

Great hotel. Very modern and up to date. My room was large and spacious. You are right next to the airport so it's quick to board your flight. The area is a bit disconnected from town so not a great surrounding area. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Had a 4-hour work leadership/management training session at the Hyatt. Parking outside of valet was a bit hard to find-it was in the back and not labeled very well. The seminar room was on the 2nd floor and it was very spacious and nice. The service staff was very good and responsive. I didn't eat the breakfast but it looked good: fruit, toast, continental stuff. This hotel is beautiful; modern art decor furnishings, bright environment, spiral staircase… someone must have hired an interior decorator because it shows. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I had a great experience with the hotel. They have great staff and 24 hour snack bar at the lobby. The room was quite (even though it was facing the LAX runway! ) and had a modern feel to it. But somehow, I could hear the noise from the room right next to mine. Guess they did a good job in blocking outside noise but not from inside. Hotel was very well maintained and close to LAX. Other than parking, everything was good.

Worst experience I have had at a 5 star hotel. On the 5th of July I had arrived at Hyatt recency hotel Lax. I had driven my car to the entrance to unload my bags. I got off the car and looked around but there was no one to help. So I started unloading the bags myself. As I was unloading the bags, this gentleman with a grey suit told me to hurry up as the shuttle bus was waiting to leave. I carried on scrambling to unload the bags b myself and he shouted louder to hurry up u…nload the bags a second time. By the time I got to the last bag he yelled 'could you please hurry up. I unloaded the bags and drove the car forward to a lot By the side, enough for the bus to pass through. As I got off the car the same gentleman shouted at me, ' sir can't you read the sign there! ' It was written bus only, so I reversed and drove the car to another lot further out. As I walked back, the same gentleman was walking away from the lobby and I looked at him and asked, 'do you work here? ' He proudly responded he was the chief security officer. I honestly expected more as here I was struggling with my bags and all you managed to do was stand beside me and start screaming to hurry up. The least you could have done was help me out. Secondly, you don't mock a guest if they made a mistake by asking me if I could read!

Hotel has a chic and modern feel to it. Spacious. I have to admit there is nothing much to do around, but aren't all hotels near the airport? The lobby looks cool and the room was really fancy. For families, the Place or House would be a better bet, but for single business people, this location would be prime. The shuttle takes slightly longer, so considering using Uber to airport if in a rush.

Location right by the airport is good for a quick trip to LA. Room was okay. It looks pretty modern but the bathroom door doesn't lock. Also the bathroom door was a sliding door but wasn't aligned correctly. Carpet and bed sheets felt kind off sticky. Not sure if it's because of the material they are mad of but they didn't feel very soft either.

Very impressed. Arrived very late (actually at about 1 am) due to a very late American Airlines flight which meant I had missed my connection flights home. So not so happy. But smiles and friendly and competent staff greeted me and arranged my room quickly. Equally helpful and positive service when I checked out after a very refreshing night's sleep. I Only issue was an unwelcome and unbooked automated wake up call at around 5am. What was that about? On course for a 5 rating except for that.

This place is Outsanding… Lynnette… good people person… You want 20 of her on any staff. . Charisma was fallin" out of her pockets. She had so much of it… I LOOK FORWARD TO MY NEXT TRIP TO LOS ANGELES… And her Restaurant server was over the top efficiency on display. Jeff your what sets A place apart from the others. . I try and stay at the location every time I come to LA. It's convenient to the city and also not too far away from the beaches. There aren't a lot of places you can just walk to, since it's hotel after hotel but the LA areas is very spread out to begin with. A short drive or uber will get around the area. The staff are always friendly and the rooms are clean. I'm currently a globalist, which is the highest tier on their loyalty program and so I stay at a Hyatt roughly once or twice a week. Although this isn't one of their coolest locations, it's still one of my favorites thus far just considering the hotel itself. I never run into issues which is always a plus. I guess the only major con is that the views are of the LAX runways. There isn't much to see, but that's to be expected for the most part when staying close to the airport.

If you're looking for a hotel close to LAX this is a great option. The rooms are newly renovated and very nice. There is a 24/7 snacks and coffee counter in the lobby. The pool has lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The work out room is in the penthouse with great views of the runway. The shuttle conveniently and reliably runs to the airport every 10-15 minutes. Food at the restaurant was good although on the expensive side.

Updated and modern, close proximity to airport, but not for light sleepers. You can't hear a single thing from the airport, rather the walls between the rooms are PAPER THIN. I had the displeasure of having a neighbor whose TV was blasting for hours into the late night. I had to use ear plugs AND a white noise fan app to mask the noise. After a long flight and long workdays, it was the last thing you want to happen. I'd take a less modern hotel for peace and quiet. This is a problem both with the hotel and the neighbor. So if you're reading this, DON'T BE THAT NEIGHBOR.

The hotel is the closest one to the airport making it super convenient. If you don't like noise keep in mind the approach patterns to the airport with it's 4 runways can be bothersome which can also be of concern to some. The other hotels along the same road as this hotel also host this same issue. A gym is available on the top floor of the hotel and there is a pool on the ground level outside adjacent to the hotel. Room service as well as dry cleaning services are available. A gift shop is open until 10pm; bar downstairs is open until midnight (2am on weekends) ; 24 hour marketplace with select food menu items and other sundries are available downstairs as well. The rooms are okay nothing special (a small unlocked and empty fridge is available to use in all rooms) but decent for any quick stays or convention attendees.

For a airport hotel I can‘t say anything bad at all. Nice gym, good but expensive breakfast. Just the dinner needs to be improved. Less options and uncomfortable ambience. Rooms are great.

Good hotel in general. Being an Indian family with two small kids, our experience was average because we did not have any food options. There was not even a microwave oven in the room. I missed checking the amenities while booking. Nice rooms, clean toilets. Cosy beds to get a good night sleep.

This hotel have the best bed on the zone. We have stayed in other brands and the beds were too soft. The room is big and comfortable. The breakfast is quite good. Air conditioner work well and not noisy. Well maintained in general.

It is conveniently located 1/2 mile form LAX. Room is very clean and bed is comfortable. The 24hrs canteen offers variety of quick pick. The sandwich I order is very tasty. Love it.

The staff was incredibly attentive, courteous, and accommodating. The facilities were well-kept, beds very comfortable, and fitness center was outstanding. Our room faced a runway but the soundproofing was superb. Free shuttle to LAX was a big plus. The food choices within the hotel were excellent. We would stay here again.

It's right next to the airport. You can walk to terminal 1 in five minutes. Quiet and clean despite being on a busy intersection. Plenty of friendly staff, lots of parking and they even have a good selection in their vending machines. And you've gotta check out the ice maker!

Currently staying here on business for a few days. Fantastic place to stay if you don't need to go anywhere else. Hotel shuttle picked me up from the airport. This place has all the amenities one could want at a fine hotel. The bar is surprisingly busy but not in a bad way for the wait staff seems to stay on top of things. Meals here are typically LA sophisticated with an ethnic flair. Room service for dinner took less than 30 minutes to arrive. My room is well appointed and clean as one should expect. The mattress is firm but not too hard, just the way I like it. Of course the place isn't cheap, and the service staff gives one the appropriate level of attention. Definitely recommend!

Hands down the nicest hotel for the friendly staff that I've ever stayed in. Very accommodating. Happy and smiling. The ladies that clean and service do NOT get, paid enough for their hard work. All the people I met that worked here were absolutely amazing to deal with. The hotel is shiny and clean, always above standard even at the busiest time. I felt like it was a home away from home and I was lost alone in LA. Will definitely visit again.

The restaurant has a very warm, welcoming atmosphere. The decor is quite modern and the food was delicious. Of all the things that stood out to me, however, the staff were top notch. They were very attentive and took great care of me and my wife. Edgar at the restaurant was amazing, he really made us feel at home. I would definitely come back again.

Room was comfy, quiet (with just the slight hum from the airplanes taking off), and clean. The only gripe I have about it is that I wish they had even just a small continental breakfast, or more reasonable prices on their dining/room service options. $15 for a couple pieces of french toast?! No thank you! I ended up walking down the street to buy breakfast. Apart from that though, definitely would/will stay here again when I'm I fly out of LAX again.

Newly renovated. Looks to be a great improvement. They have the biggest ballroom down century Blvd, but it's pretty plain. If you want to dress up the space yourself, space would be a great fit for the event you're hosting. They also have a beautiful space on the highest floor, overlooking LAX.

If you want to be close to LAX then this is the closest hotel to the airport. Rooms are modern and spacious. Very clean. The staff is mostly friendly. I come here at least 2-3 times a month for work. Sometimes when I come in at 5am they aren't ready with our rooms. There's a nice bar, deli, and restaurant downstairs. The hotel lobby is very spacious too. The shuttles to the airport come every 10 min. It's very convenient. It's also walking distance to In&Out burger.

The hotel is great for business travelers. Shuttle service is available for the airport and within walking distance to several restaurants and convenience marts. The room was modern and clean. The staff were professional and accommodating. I would stay here again if in LA on business.

First class facilities, super clean room and the best food I have ever tasted.

This hotel is beautiful. It definitely raises the bar for airport hotels. Very modern look, nice open rooms, open spaces in the lobby and dining area as well. The staff is polite and professional. The courtesy shuttle to the airport has a frequent schedule. The fitness center is great, with a pleasant view of the planes landing, makes the "dreadmill" a tad less dreadful. The pool is large, clean, and quite rare for airport hotels. Needless to say I'm very impressed with this hotel.

Rooms are really nice, recently renovated and eco-friendly with a more modern appearance. Nice, big outdoor pool, great bar area with plenty of beverage choices. Dining area also well stocked. On-site parking is through a third party, though, and can add up if staying multiple nights.

The staff from outside to inside checking in were very friendly and rather fast at checking you in as well. The beds are super comfy, my husband and I slept very well. The room was spacious and very clean. The shower was my personal favorite. Great shuttle service!

I have now incurred a debit of $513.38 because of a mistake the Hyatt Regency made and I've yet to receive an apology OR a refund. I stayed at this hotel for 5 years almost every other weekend with no problems. The year I convince my company to book 10 ROOMS for our guests from out of the country, they not only charged my card (without authorization) that was put down for incidentals, but tried to make it seem like it was something that (and I quote) "I need to work out with 'my people'. " In addition to that, my friend paid for an extra day so that I could sleep in and HIS card was charged for all 3 days of my stay! Mistakes are made and I'm one of the more patient customers. However, being told SIX different stories, not getting calls returned and having 2 reps try to over talk me when I'm using my calm voice is unacceptable. Unfortunately for them, the friend that was overcharged is also a labor attorney so I'll let him handle his complaint, but as for me-I can't understand how they can make 14 million dollars in renovations (as I was told) to the hotel, but hire young, inexperienced and unprofessional staff who don't know how to admit when they made a mistake and finding a solution. Thank goodness this happened to ME and not any of my guests that we booked the other 9 rooms for. It wouldn't be a good impression for my organization. And by the way, now I'm occurring insufficient fee charges from my bank because the hotel is saying that it will take 3-5 days to return.

Stayed here for 2 wonderful nights. Very close to airport. The room was beautiful with new bathroom. The view was spectacular! The bed was very comfortable, with usb ports everyplace!

Great location if you've got an early flight. Clean, updated rooms and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. I've only ever eaten at the lobby bar but the food is always good and the service nice.

Parking is typical, compact spots with valet. Bathroom door could be a little bit more substantial, not just a slider. Bar was alright, nice staff. Comfortable bed. Clean.

Had a leadership training morning session in the second floor ballroom. The hotel is gorgeous on the inside with modern art deco furnishings. Breakfast was tastefully done with fresh fruit, juices, coffee, sausages, and breads. Service was good. Overall, the venue was 5 stars.

Not bad value for money.

There is NOT free parking here people, do not believe the stated "free parking". The lobby is nice but the rooms are a motel 6. Peeling paint on the walls, an antiquated climate control system that is a throwback to a 60's classroom. The bathrooms are VERY SMALL and reminiscent of a motel 6 in both counter space, shower space and fixture age. Absolutely one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. Do not stay here!

Pool out of order not kid friendly wont enjoy it need to take Hyatt's name of location bad for business. Hyatts across America this by far is the worst. Sorry hyatt they need ur help asap because rite now there flushing it down the toilet. You can have pets but my kid is 14 and cant go to the lobby by himself wow. Would give it a zero, but cant. HATED IT is a understatement. Woke up this mornin want to take a shower no hot water this place just seems to get worst the longer stay. If u need a place to stay this is not it.

Great staff, excellent value! I want the rooms to get renovated but know that I'll pay 2X when they are. Dated but clean rooms, this hotel is my go to LAX hotel.

This hotel is in a great location. The lobby, lounge and restaurant are fairly nice. The staff is some of the friendliest I've seen in any hotel. Even though the hotel is next to the airport, you don't hear the aircraft going in and out. Be aware that they are in the midst of renovations, so be prepared for daytime construction noises.

I would give this hotel five stars, but the revenavations aren't complete and they are desperately needed. That said, the customer service is excellent and the location is convient if you want to stay close to LAX. I've seen some of the work they've done already and I must say it's pretty swanky!

We had a 10 hour layover and couldn't check in for our second flight until about 8pm, so we decided to get a hotel near the airport. The shuttle bus was quick and service getting our bags on and off was fabulous. The beds were comfortable and we could only hear the planes if we listened for them. Room service food was also excellent and just what we needed before flying out to AUS. We also loved that we could leave our bags at the front desk instead of carting them all to our room. Definitely would do it again.

Shower had amazing water pressure. The concierge was extremely friendly anf helpful. We ate at the restaurant for three meals, and all were decadent. The prices are high, but they reflect the four star service received.
