The service is great! Rooms are newly remodeled, clean and nice. The lounge, bar and pool area is Beautiful and well maintained. The only reason why I didn't give a 4 star was because the exterior is under construction and looks messy and unkept. Don't let this detour you from staying here. The price is reasonable and they serve a continental breakfast.

Location seemed decent, at least parking was monitored by parking security and tows cars that are not staying at hotel. It's been remodeled so rooms are new but could be better cleaned. Found tons of lint around bed and desk area. Water spots on mirror. Service is slow for front desk but not workers fault. They should have more help so check in is quicker.

This was our second stay at The Cove. This time we decided to to upgrade and stayed in the King suite. We experienced multiple issues with this stay, with 2 to 3 inch sized cockroaches, freely going into the suite due to there being no weather striping under the door. The hide-away bed, which we needed still had the original shipping restraints in place, and the mattress was still in a plastic bag. We had no bedding provided for it, and when we went to get it, we were only given a blanket after a 20 minute wait, and shared pillows from the bed for it. The refrigerator had an ice maker, which was a big surprise, but since there was no water to it, it make a loud noise at it went through the process of ejecting the air from the molds, and all other noise associated with it. Turned it off when we realized what it was. While the guy at the desk said there was nothing he could do, since we had no pictures of the roaches, he could do nothing, but would let the manager know, and she would contact us. He was very fast to try to get us out of the entry, and seemed disinterested in helping, and told us we should have let them know that night and they would have given us a different room. Apparently after a long trip, the guy told us they would have moved us to another room, especially when we rented the one top suite, seemed like such a lack of customer service and major inconvience.

Great establishment! Fancier than the building exterior would make you think. Clean rooms and gorgeous bathrooms for us; we were shocked at how swanky the latter was. Good bang for your buck and friendly staff to boot!

This hotel has the potential to be great with their new remodel. The room was nice and updated. Enjoyed the peaceful blue light. The breakfast needs more options. There is room for a waffle maker and some hot foods. Cereal would even help. It was basically coffee, juice, yogurt, fruit, toast and pastries. Customer service was great, pool was heated, champagne at check in, fire pit, comfortable beds, and vigilant security were all good things. They just need to fine tune the amenities.

Great hotel, newly renovated, modern, friendly and clean. Great staff, especially James who goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome. Outdoor pool area and deck are really nice, breakfast and bar at night. We enjoyed our 4 night stay. Highly recommend!

Stayed here the night before we boarded our cruise. Went with my husband and 2 year old daughter. I absolutely loved it! It had everything we needed. Fridge and microwave came in handy with a toddler. Staff was very friendly. The pool was amazing cuz the water was perfect temperature. I just love how roomy and clean and up to date this hotel is and for the price you can't beat. Definately coming back if we ever stop by Long Beach again.

This place has changed! I live in Long Beach and we are remolding our house so we need to get a hotel and what a nice surprise this was. The room was large the bathroom is beautiful, you have to see the faucet. I've seen fountains do this but the bathroom sink faucet does it very well, you have to come see it. The staff are great, and they have a sense of humor. Everything was just right. The best Hotel in Long Beach. The lobby is beautiful and the pool is too. Loved staying here.

I stayed here for two nights with my family and had a great experience. Staff was really helpful and kind to us. The room was very clean and spacious. Definitely stay again.

Best hotel on my month long vacation. Rooms are gorgeous. Service top notch and very caring. Very convenient to freeway and downtown Long Beach.

New facility with very nice rooms and modern decor. They are still figuring out the bar and food offerings, but will definitely stay there again!

Decent rates and newly-redecorated hotel and upgraded to Ascend Collection. I like the elegant decor and the place is very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There's also a pool if you choose not to drive to the beach to go for a swim. The neighborhood does not seem very safe but this location is a winner due to how convenient it is to get to the beach and other attractions in Long Beach. It only takes 11-13 minutes to get to the Aquarium or Queen Mary even on a busy weekend like this with the Scots Festival and Comic con happening.

They are remodeling and should just shut the hotel down while they do so. No water in rooms till late afternoon, still want to charge full price, no breakfast absolutely terrible! No or very poor parking, rooms are mediocre at best, would not stay here again no matter what!

This is the best experience and uptown decor. The staff was amazing. Convenient to everything. Will stay again and recommend to anyone. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. So wonderful I can't even express.

Even during construction it's comfortable and quiet and they do their best to accommodate your needs! It's near food places and an Albertsons. The rooms have full fridges and lots of room. What else could you want?

This hotel has potential but seriously should not be open during its renovations. It looks like a rundown crack motel in the ghetto of long beach. Staff should make aware of upcoming guests of this while making a reservation.

What a nightmare. Two stars for a moderately clean room and comfortable bed. Literally every amenity advertised is unavailable because of the construction. I wasn't warned about the construction until after booking when it was to late to cancel either. The neighborhood is pretty scary too. Do not stay here.

Friendly staff, large rooms, decent prices.

I was warned about the construction. So all things taken into consideration the hotel suited my need. I look forward to the openin in October. The small beautiful hotel of the past is gone. The staff was great and friendly.

Unexpectedly under construction when we arrived. The 2 stars are: 1 for comfy beds and one for an included full breakfast. No continental breakfaat bulls#! t.

Beware of this hotel. I wish I could give negative stars! They are under construction and will be for at least a year, so loud during the day, dust everywhere. The rooms are not insulated well, as you can hear people in the other rooms. Their breakfast sucks, most of the food tasted like poison, their juice is watered down, and tasted horrible! One of the attendants at the front desk was very rude! The view sucks from the rooms!

The hotel staff was welcoming and pleasant. Everyone was extremely helpful, and the common hotel areas were clean. I didn't stay overnight, so I am unaware what the rooms are like, I was just here for a meeting.

We arrived to check in and the ENTIRE hotel was boarded up under renovation. There were no places to park and I could not see any rooms not under renovation. Terrible, they cancelled our reservation and we left!

I booked through my corporation through American express. This hotel is just a big construction site. Tarps, chain link fences, hammering, no parking, dirt everywhere. I had no clue about this. To much trouble to cancel, charge reversal, new charge, etc. It took 3 times around the building to find the lobby. And WOW they took $12 a day of my bill. Whooppee it's corporate money, how does that make this better. I better not pickup a nail in my tire.

I loved staying at comfort inn. All of the people there were very nice and helpful. Also, the beds were super comfortable. But if you are looking for a super fancy hotel, I wouldn't recommend comfort inn.

Rooms are clean which is nice. But our room smelled like marijuana and the AC was turned off so it was like walking into a sauna.

Used an app to reserve a room, there wasn't no rooms available even though it said there was online. Got charged a room fee for a room that wasn't even avaliable. They did offer a free room upgrade to one with a jacuzzi but then they realized that one was not availabler. Eithe.

All good cool staff, clean rooms, plush beds, near shopping center safe parking clean pool fresh hot breakfast's We give this Comfort Inn in the LBC ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We will be back.

Great location with very friendly staff and housekeeping. Room was clean and spacious. Hotel is close to a lot of places of interest.

Big comfortable rooms with secure premises. Excellent Wi-Fi and was in walking distance to a variety of food spots and long beach blvd.

If I Could give negative stars, I would. Went on vacation with 12 people, had 3 rooms. Terrible service! I was charged almost DOUBLE what I was told upon my reservations. The staff lady, Rhonda, was completely uncaring about it. She told me "well its a weekend and every hotel in the vicinity is booked with 3 cruises leaving out of this port. If you don't like it, plenty of people are waiting in line to take your spot. So take it or leave it. " Rhonda took it upon herself to be the towel Nazi and absolutely refused more than 8 towels TOTAL for all 3 rooms due to southern California's drought. She also told us we would be charged extra for more towels, and if we used our room towels at the hotel pool. She yelled at my 7 year old for asking for more. We stayed here on the "park and cruise" package where they boast about round the clock staff, security, and surveillance. Our rental vehicle was hit in the parking lot and we were told "oh. Well, that's why you pay for insurance" DO NOT STAY HERE. $50 extra is more than worth the hotel down the street!

Stayed for five days. Cleaning staff is first rate. Breakfast was good. Loved the room. Super clean and quiet. Pool is nice. Enjoyed the fitness equipment. And staff was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and given the opportunity I will stay here again.

A little over priced… but it was clean.

Loved it here! Felt very safe, the room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was very friendly upon check-in and throughout the stay. Close to several food options. Really felt like I was on a relaxing vacation.

Staff was very helpful. Rooms were quite large and well kept.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn on willow street in June. Being a lifetime native, and comming from a bad area, we decided to "spend the night" out for a change. What a Pleasent surprise! Jacuzzi in the room, Beautiful pool, and a Wonderful, full Breakfast! A little higher priced, But very well worth it! Decent area, and Wonderful Staff! Thanks, Comfort Inn.

Had a great experience. My wife and I stayed here for a night. Great breakfast, very nice, spacious room. And close to Starbucks :), stores, restaurants, and much more.

What a dump. Wanted $104.50 for this crack hole. Drove up and looked around and drove away as fast as possible. You take your life and loose it by staying here.

This place is nasty and ghetto they kick your guest and act really rude.
