Front desk lady was very nice. Room is clean and spacious. Feels safe and secure here. I’d stay here again.

Clean place to stay, friendly staff! The beds are aweful! Like ROCK hard! Not easy to sleep on.

Spent the night there when we supported an offroad racing event at Gorman. Clean room, good value. The staff were helpful, funny and they made us feel very welcome… we will be back next year.

I recently made reservations to this hotel. But unfortunately I couldn’t make to my reservation due to a family emergency had a death in my family. When I called the front desk to cancel my reservation I was just transferred to someone with no help. I’m going through this stressful time right now and all I want is to cancel my reservation and get my refund. No manager has even tried to contacted me with any help. They should take in consideration that emergency due happen. I would not recommend staying there. The staff just gives you the run around no help.

Excellent stop in the Tejon Pass. Very clean, very quiet, and amenities and food nearby. Not easy to get to, because the roads are not well-marked or well lit, but the price once you get there is excellent. There is an overnight security Guard so your vehicle is very safe! They have a very clean pool secluded by privacy fences. Because it is an Express Hotel, they have very few amenities Inside the Hotel aside from a free continental breakfast. However there are numerous convenience stores, a couple of fast food restaurants, and even a liquor store very nearby. The hotel staff is very accommodating and polite. It is only moments on and off of I-5. In my opinion, it is the perfect place to stay if you want to stop on Tejon Pass between the desert and the run into L. A. Every time I drive to Southern California, which I do often I plan to stay here. They earn four stars very easily!

My family loves this hotel! It's a great half way point from San Diego to the Bay area. Staff is always great, rooms are always clean and beds comfortable (pillows are flat though). This last time the hot tub was out of order, but pool was clean. They have a wonderful free breakfast in the morning as well. Love it!

Average Holiday Inn. The bad parts — There were stains on some if the towels and the water pressure was so low, I could have used the sink to shower with better results. There was also a truck in the parking lot with broken windows that had obviously been there for days — it doesn't make customers feel safe to see this. But the beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly.

Very clean, great breakfast and cool with dogs. Would definitely stay again. One not is 30.00 per dog which was kind of high.

Tall ceilings, clean and fairly recent remodel with friendly staffed. It little more expensive than nearby similar hotels.

The room was clean, check in was late night and was quick and easy. Staff wasn't the most helpful when asking where to park in relation to the location of our room (we were lugging a baby in with lots of gear), but our room was quiet, bed was comfortable, and we got a good night sleep ready to hit the road again in the morning.

The place is very near interstate 5, when I need to sleep its when everything goes quiet but the semi trucks traveling north and south: it is all I can hear (Im writing this at 3:23am, when Im supposed to be sleeping! ). I always check my bank account when I stay @ hotels, due to bad experiences. Well guess what, they have overcharged me by almost $30! I won't leave this place before this is corrected. The hotel would have nice view of the western mountains, but the street surrounding the hotel and road leading to it is lined up with dozens of semi trucks parked overnight. When is time for them to get on the road again, their engine and airbreak is what you hear. Drive a little further and get yourself a better place to rest: you can't at this place (inside is quiet, but all the noise from the outside traffic and the loud ac unit in the room make it impossible to rest). Glad I'll be home tomorrow!

Comfortable beds or I was just exhausted from the days drive, but the price and front desk staff are horrible. No sense of customer service nor do they seem to care. The carpets in halls might cause you to trip as they are coming up. Don't expect directions on the best place to park in conjunction to your room. They give you the key and that's it. No mention of room number or where. Really irritated about the price. The online price was much cheaper so I attempted to book online but it wouldn't let me select 3 people rather than 2 so when I booked online standing at the counter, the front desk changed the price because I had 3 people for a room with two queen beds. Holiday Inn appears to follow antiquated pricing, Hilton and Marriott do not do this to me. No Holiday Inns for me anymore.

The staff here was very friendly and accommodating considering I showed up after midnight. I would recommend this hotel for anyone needing a safe and convenient place to stay for the night!

Perfect accommodations. Nice room. Big bathroom. Lovely stay. Breakfast employee was a bit distracted, but otherwise, everything was perfect.

Friendly service from staff especially maid service. Manager could make eye contact or smile a bit. Breakfast was good. Room clean.

I liked this place we stopped on our way from Mexico we were driving it was clean friendly staff best part was the free breakfast included many varieties of food.

I actually really liked the experience. The front desk was responsive and the beds were comfortable. Also the pancake machine in the free breakfast was really cool. I wish I had one in my everyday life…

Hotel was clean, staff was professional. No mini-fridge… some other things you'd expect. Inconvenient for smokers, but near a Jack-In-The-Box and various gas stations which was very nice.

Great Hotel! This remains one of our favorite places to stay. Rooms are updated and very clean while the staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet is free and quite good. Tip… they do have a very affordable government rate.

Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. Was not expecting the morning weather change but was refreshing. As driving away we saw a deer in the parking lot.

Pretty much what we expected. Pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyed. Breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing. Overall clean and well kept.

Very Nice room and clean. The breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip. But the attendant was really on top of everything and was very courteous to everyone, even saw someone come in 10 mins after they closed and she asked if she could get her something. She was an example of what really makes a place 5 star, someone who cares enough to go the extra mile to help the patrons.

The staff was friendly Nd the rooms were clean and comfy. Breakfast was good as well. A lot of the equipment in the exercise room were out of order, that was the only complaint.

Inexpensive hotel we use driving from SF to SD. Excellent beds. Clean Rooms. Friendly staff. Simple breakfast included. It may snow at Christmas.

Disappointing. We were told we were getting two queen beds, but got one queen and a pull out couch. Which is not nearly as comfortable. The Jacuzzi and two of the three exercise machines were broken. The staff, all were very nice. The breakfast was good. I know they can't control when things break, but we could have paid a lot less just to get a room to sleep in.

The location is easily accessible right off the fwy and a good stop before you get into busy touristy areas. There's some construction happening at the hotel but nothing interrupted our stay pet friendly. And it truly was accommodating for us. My only recommendation being that in pet friendly rooms there be hard wood or vinyl. There was a wet smell in the room and I was unsure if that was due to shampooing or previous animals. The breakfast was above average and super great since we had an early start.

Best Hotel in the area. The hotel is clean and well kept. The staff was polite and helpful. The room was large and everything worked fine. The price is a little too high, and the breakfast was just okay. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel. Just not on a budget for the prices are too high.

Room was clean, shortly after checking in we got a phone call from the front desk to see if everything was to our liking. The next day housekeeping didn't replace our coffee cups we used, nor the coffee pod for brewing. Everything else was spotless. There is a free continental breakfast, and snacks and drinks for sale at all hours in the lobby. Just off the freeway which is convenient. Overall a good stay.

We arrived fairly late, around 10:30p. There was no one at the front desk when I walked in, but within 30 seconds, the service rep was there ready to check me in. The guy asked what government agency I was with for the government rate and when I mentioned my branch he shook my hand and thanked me for my service. He promptly checked me in, handed me room keys with the amount of loyalty points accrued, and informed me of the Wi-Fi password and Continental breakfast. The guy was courteous and answered any questions I had.

We have spent every night in California along highway 1 from San Francisco to San Diego in Holiday Inn Express and have had absolutely incredible 4+ experiences. We pulled in at 1 a. M. To this place to be told they were going to charge us $20 more because they don't have the room we would prefer. No thanks. We will go somewhere more accommodating that charges the actual rate they put online.

I had an unfortunate experience where their online reservation system defaulted to 2 weeks from the current date, the night I wanted to stay. I called earlier in the same evening to explain the mistake, and to ask to be rebooked. They were full and couldn't accommodate, but also they refused to issue a full, or even a partial refund. They claimed it was a non-refundable internet special, but given the circumstances (reservation 2 weeks away; request for a cancellation 2 week in advance), I feel they were unaccompanied and inflexible.

I stayed in this hotel with my family visiting from India. Excellent hotel, spacious rooms, nicely decorated, clean and nicely designed batrooms, great breakfast and on top of everything the service just wonderful. Great location on Highway 5 and beautiful view. I really enjoyed my stay.
