Place is Shaddy, to get a room it’s mandatory to put down a $200 dollars deposit, which isn’t a problem, problem is… it’s cash only. They don’t accept debit or credit cards for the deposit.

Easy accessable but rooms are dated.

Do not stay on a Tuesday night because the garbage truck comes at 5 in the morning and makes a lot of noise.

The room was quite spacious. The bathroom was clean, the pool was clean. A refrigerator and microwave were provided as well as free Wi-Fi. The Old West theme was quaint with a rocking chair next to the bed and a large stuffed black bear on the couch for children to play with. The staff were very accommodating.

It was a cool place to stay, we didn't stay very long due to our trip up there in the 1st place! Cool scenery tho!

This motel had everything you could ever need! Beds! A/C! a pool! Showers! Ice machine! Need I go on? And best of all… It was clean! I would definitely stay here again!

Cute little motel with decent rates and well located. Rooms are not modernized but cozy and well maintained. Full length porch with chairs and ashtrays to make up for all non-smoking rooms. This may make it less tolerable for non-smokers to sit outside, but since the view is only the pool and freeway this may not be much of an issue.

Nice price but not really clean.

Pack earplugs — — if you're unlucky enough to have a room directly under a family with children, you can kiss a good night's sleep goodbye.

You get what you pay for and this place is the least expensive around.

This historic gold rush era hotel is run and staffed by people who clearly live it's history and enjoy sharing it with visitors. The restaurant is so good, I don't think we've ever gone to Jamestown without reading there once. Sunday Brunch FTW!

Really cool place that has only been restored to the extent that is necessary to be comfortable. Some rooms only have a sink, some have a bathroom with a shower added to the bathroom. The rooms with only a sink require (as "back in the day") the customer to use a bathroom and/or bath tub soaker room off of the main hall. The bag tub soaker room is really cool. Customers have bath robes provided in the rooms to use during their stay. Overall I really enjoyed my stay, the history of the place is easy to see in the woodwork and decor. The staff was very polite. The breakfast was continental with the addition of quiche and French toast.

This place is amazing. I enjoyed every minute I spent here. Clean and feels so comfortable. The atmosphere will take you a bit back in time but you will still enjoy the convenience of modern life. The staff is super nice and helpful. Bit old system for reservations but not much of a delay. Recommended experience.

I've been meaning to review this place for nearly a year now and I'm finally getting around to it. What an awesome group of people that run this place! After arriving into Jamestown late one night, starving, we went from door to door looking for an open restaurant. By the grace of god, we walked into The National hoping to still find an open kitchen. Despite arriving after their kitchen had closed, the owner and staff where all very welcoming and they made us a lovely and very good value meal. Don't count on them to staying open for everyone, since restaurants have to run a tight operation, and people have homes to go back to. But I really appreciated the attitude and professionalism of the boss and staff. Will be back soon!

They do not offer smoking rooms so went to another motel.

I don't expect much when I visit Jamestown. A simple town kept alive by casinos and people on the way to Yosemite. However, Miners Motel is a big letdown. Old rooms even for the area, uncomfortable beds, and unreliable AC. Staff are friendly, but don't offer much in terms of customer service. Phones in the bathroom prove they haven't updated in years, and the internet is abysmal.

Nightmare. Skip this one and go to the Jamestown Hotel just down the street, which is delightful! Got stuck here by GM roadside assistance after a minor car accident in Yosemite. After a 6-hour ordeal with insurance and towing, the owner greeted me by yelling "It's the wrong number! " and waving some papers in my face. Insisted GM fax him a duplicate of the form they'd already sent him, and in the middle of the night. After all that, the walls were paper thin and the sheets felt like sandpaper. We got a taxi out of there at first light and will never go back.

Our stay at the Miner's Motel was a very pleasant experience. Although located near a rather busy road, it was quiet, our room was spacious, very comfortable, very clean, and we enjoyed the beautiful pastoral view through the large rear window. We stayed during early April before the busy period, and we assume that rooms will fill up as the summer approaches. This property is well maintained, has a nice pool, a small gazebo corner, and ample parking close to the rooms. We thank the Patel family for being excellent hosts and for providing very good service at a very reasonable price. We intend to stop by again during our next trip to Yosemite. Dr. And Mrs. Corynen.

I found cacaroach bugs in my room. I was completely disgusted. When I told the owner they said I must have brought them, because I had so many people with me! Unbelievable, I rented three rooms and each were equally disgusting. I dropped the remote for the TV to find cheerios under the bed. There are plenty of other hotels nearby, go to another if you like clean rooms.

I stayed here this past weekend for $65 a night for a room with two queen beds! It was way better than I had expected. I would definitely recommend staying here.
