Nice over-night stay during our road trip. Clean rooms, Wi-Fi was working, Check-In and Out were smooth. Maybe the room was a bit small and they could offer some breakfast. Nothing much to complain about though!

This is about the poor care and attention of the employees of the gas station. I was getting drinks and snacks and alost dripped over an empty box in the ile the stock person left while he was stocking. Also I slipped and fell on a wet spot on the floor right in front of the register. No one helped me get up. They just stared at me. All they did and say was I ok. Then the person that was cleaning the wet spot just stared at me. You better be glad I didn't see. You need better help!

Great stopover we had a room with a very Nice setting and bath. Great Price in this motel.

Clean rooms and quiet location, though rooms were a little smaller than I expected. No chain food around either, so be sure to prepare beforehand! Overall a comfortable stay.

The hi country market has everything but the kitchen sink and thing you need they have it.

Stayed here a few times, no issues. Smaller rooms, fridge, microwave, nice restrooms. Dog friendly.

Typical Big Pine Motel, so not like a modern chain one. It was clean and the little space heater did a good job of keeping the room warm. The motel is right next to the highway, so yes, you may hear traffic noises. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Thanks for a good nights sleep as for the past few nights I haven't as stayed in very bad motel. Great value clean what more could you ask for.

Great place 2 stay close to my fav fishing areas.

We were very impressed by the breadth of the room. Had kitchen to the full, it was practically an apartment.

Hotel check in is at a Chevron Mimi market next to the hotel. So inconvenient in 100 degee weather! Employees there are not hotel employees. They don't deal with complaints or hotel issues. No manager on site. Ice bucket had mold in it, tile under the coffee cat in the bathroom was filthy. Unacceptable.

Just want to thank Chris and his staff. They were so helpful when the temps were hotter then heck. Really great people and store. Greatly appreciated. Always go here around June. Def be back.

Clean, location includes a mini Mart and gas station which is great! Our room was a suite with a kitchenette and was large with three beds (2 queen and in twin size) and they were all very comfortable.

This is a decent motel but does have its negative and therefore I only gave it 3 stars. The stay was in June 2017 and the outside temperature during the day was warm, but the nighttime temperatures are cool as there was snow on the mountains behind the motel. The 'heat' which seems to be propane was not working of turned off at the propane tank, thus taking a shower or getting up in the middle of the night was 'cool'. The location is good as it is off of US-395 and there is a gasoline station and a 'general store' which has food, fishing and hunting gear, tools, {mini ACE type hardware store}, and tons of other 'traveler' stuff. The motel does NOT provide free or any breakfast, but there is a good and reasonable priced little restaurant within walking distance. The motel office was closed and the sign-in registration was at the General Store. Paperwork got somewhat confused, but the personnel were friendly and did their best to straighten it out to our satisfaction. Unfortunately, I only could give the place three stars due to the defective toilet that ran {leaked water) all night; the bed that had two dips with a rise in-between {they claimed these were new; NOT! }, small main room, and no television guide. Overall, a bit overpriced for what it is, but generally satisfactory for a night's stay. The great part was that several antique cars showed up and gave us a show for a few minutes.

Quaint, clean, rustic motel that I would recommend to everyone. Price was great, staff was professional but still personable.

Desk staff was friendly, rooms were a decent size, clean and nice tv. Only reason for giving 4 stars is the mini fridge stunk and it is a bit overpriced. We were in room 14.

Got the 3-bedroom mobile home for 1 night. Better than I thought. Was pretty clean, everything worked minus a few outlets. Very close to market. Good experience overall.

Clean, 2-ply, options including one with a kitchen, go to the gas station market to get your key if the office is closed.

We also had room #13… Completely different experience than Matt, below. Room was totally clean and smoke free. Bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. Shower was nice and hot. Room was safe and secure. Hard to complain about the menu in the room… that restaurant seemed to be then only one open in town. Perhaps they renovated in the past 5 months but Bristlecone Motel was the perfect place for us to visit the area from (Bristlecone Pine Forest! ). Definitely recommended, would stay again.

75 dollars, stinks of decades of cigarettes. Over priced, made our things smell. My gf was pissed about not having a hair dryer. Got keys at the petrol carriage, and room was recommended by lady at restaurant who's menus we eventually found in the room (coincidence? ). Also the bed sucked. Wouldn't be complaining had it been 45 dollars. We were given room.

Good stop over. Great value.

A very nice Lokum. All rooms are on the ground floor, where not directly is the correct description in rooms. Although there are rooms side by side, but when it is inside, it feels — being in a House. The equipment is everything we needed, very well, we have found also here. Just a small note, the room are some uhrig, I. E. Something older, but are very clean. Throughout the night has been very nice. My children (19J and 17J) would prefer (we weren't) now slightly longer on the tour want to stay.
The motel, makes the operator also a petrol station and a small supermarket. Also a washing saloon, direct
the lobby seems to be in the "fingers" of the Motellbetreibeers. All-in-one Yes, happy times wider.

Its not fancy, but it's clean, close to all the local sites, and very friendly. The bathrooms are nice and large too. We just stayed one night, but were very happy with the price, the service and the proximity to the Sierras as well as the White Mountains. We will be back.

The bristle cone motel is by far the best in the bigpine area. Clean rooms, groceries close, and the best steakhouse in the area, across the street (rossi's). The owner Chris and his staff are the nicest folks to talk to about the Sierra's area. This is a have to stop and see local.

It was ok they lost our reservation but after we went around town the found it so we came back the gave us a free up grade. Room was big 3 beds. Room was cold heater took a long time to warm up bathroom was cold all night. The warn you on the back of the door in the room that if any one in the town calls 911 an alarm will sound next door for the volunteer fire department. I would stay again because there are not a lot of options.
