Not sure if the staff at this company no who pays the bills. Last time I checked the customers pay the bills. And 99.9% the customer is right. Especially a repeat customer. ICE and heath department might want to stop by and check staff paper work.

Always good service and food. One of better places to head to on a casual day. It's not available to public so I haven't had to wait yet always able just walk in and sit down.

Great lite breakfast, easy to get to. swimming pool and jacuzzi very nice and opens early and closes at 11 pm. Lodge is in good location and makes it easy to go places including the beach and art festival at Laguna Beach.

I stayed here for 3 nights with friends… we had 3 rooms. Loved the garden setting and the location. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean and well appointed. Close to 405 fwy yet quiet setting. Great restaurants close by and Laguna Beach is a short drive away. Breakfast was free and there were lots of healthy options. Would stay here again anytime!

We really enjoyed our time at the Lodge, the grounds are so beautiful, and the aroma of flowers filled the air making us so relaxed, we stayed in a garden view room. All of the staff are very friendly and always willing to help you in any way possible. Very easy to get anywhere from their location. I wish we had stayed here sooner. We have already booked our room for next year, and can't wait to get back.

This is my 2nd stay. I stayed for 3 nights. Landscaping is amazing. Room is cozy. Housekeeping is great. Parking is great! Location is PERFECT! Only complaint I had with the king size bed is the mattress. My husband's and my body's hurt so badly that we couldn't walk, sleep, and it messed up my GI, which made for a horrible trip. I asked if they had any other beds but said they did not. All beds were the same. I stayed in a room with 2 queens a year prior and don't remember being this sore then. I'm not sure I will stay there again.

Good service but no breakfast.

Let's first start with the location. It is easy to identify the lodge and is super close to anything and everything you need. The lodge it's self is beautiful. All of the surrounding vegetation is perfectly maintained and they have a pool area with a gym and a spa. Their breakfast is nothing big but it is exactly what anyone needs for a hotel breakfast. Lastly their rooms are simple yet elegant and provide you with a nice living area.

Very nice for the price the room was clean the grounds are kept up and pretty. The hot tub was clean. We stayed three days and would go back again.

This is a cute and cozy Lodge with decent prices and lovely landscaping but the popcorn ceiling and peeling wallpaper was annoying and made me feel like I was in a cheap hotel. The customer service was great and the pool had a Jacuzzi which was nice and it's right off the freeway with a great handful of fast food chains in walking distance. But the wallpaper still bothers me…

Rooms were great, clean with very comfortable beds. Cox cable service was great. Wifi was mediocre in our room with low signal strength. The free breakfast wasn't much to rave about.

I make a couple trips a year to the area to visit my mom. The grounds of the hotel are so pretty with lots of flowers and a garden. The rooms are nice but not spectacular. The workers are friendly. Breakfast is to be expected. Over all we has a good experience. Next time I'll request 2nd floor like I had last time since the footsteps on the ceiling were quite loud.

Great stay! Rooms nice, beds comfy, beautiful grounds and pool/spa. We had renovated room with great shower. All kinds of stores around. I messed up reservation date and they we so nice to help me straighten it out.

A beautiful and quiet place where adults live over 55 years. It's comfortable, nice, safe. We visit an aunt who lives here and everything is designed so that the adults are safe and very comfortable in their homes.

I stay at the Laguna Hills Lodge several times a year and the staff is so friendly and accomodating. The rooms are very comfortable and lovely and the breakfast selection is quite nice. The hotel looked particularly nice during the Christmas Holiday! This is my go to hotel when I visit OC.

Convenient location which you can walk shopping and having restaurants around. Front desks are nice and friendly. Room is clean and comfortable. I stay here every time during the business trip.

Very clean, Uniquely Quaint hotel in the middle of individual shopping stores such as CVS, Total Wine & Ashley Furniture, near the Laguna Hills Mall. Also right down the road from Laguna Woods Community. Conveniently located right off of the 405 and El Toro Road, which makes it a great rest stop between San Diego and LA. A good place for all ages. They do offer/include a breakfast buffet as well.

Nice hotel, worth travelling out of LA for a better area. Clean and tidy, well presented, good pool to relax after drive. Plus the breakfast was just right quality over quantity which so many American hotels get wrong!

Very average place that does the job. Clean enough and friendly enough service. Cost is the selling point and this has been my second stay at this location. If I should ever return to the area, I will stay here again if I'm on a budget.

The accommodation were very nice. The grounds are absolutely beautiful roses every where. Very friendly staff so helpful. A lot of restaurants near. Remodeled rooms and was told they are in the process of remodeling all rooms and hallways, but still I love this place and will come back again. Also breakfast is more than a Continental.

Clean and well maintained local hotel with pool, gym and free breakfast. Close to tons of restaurants and shopping plus the freeway. Laguna Beach a short drive away. As for me and my family, we will return.

This is a hidden gem… set in a great location. Access to everything. Great staff and super clean rooms. The grounds are beautiful There is also a pool and hot tub. They have a delicious continental breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here. I will definitely go back!

To start off, the staff at this hotel has an extremely bad attitude and should be considered nothing more than liars and thieves. Charged the 380 dollar smoking fee without informing me upon checkout and with vastly unjust and frankly, illegal cause. This place was absolutely filthy and the vast majority of rooms are not as updated as they appear online. Bedbugs galore and a dingy, dark room with dirty carpets and cheap paint. The reservations manager is one of the rudest and least helpful employees I have dealt with at any business, hotel or otherwise. He is a foul mouthed extortionist and will not allow you to even have a conversation with him to resolve your issues. Although marijuana is legal here and I was informed that smoking it on the premises is acceptable, they will still EXTORT money from you with an exorbitant 380 dollar smoking fee if you even possess it in your room, which is more than within the restrictions of the law. An employee by the name of Sergio verified that the room did not have an odor and yet they still put the charge through. When attempting to deal with the matter, the manager refused to inquire about this with Sergio, then proceeded to be rude and hang up on me. The people running this establishment are untrustworthy and will take every penny they can from you. I would absolutely never stay here again and will be telling everyone I can to avoid it.

Urban area, rural charm. Blend between a chain hotel and old time California lodge, the rooms are clean but not very up to date. Some road noise but otherwise a calm in a sea of retail and asphalt. Continental breakfast included cereal, toasted breads and bagels, pre-packaged pastries, yogurt, milks, basic juices, and coffee/tea. Friendly staff and nice looking small pool. Ample parking. Walking distance to many restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We spent five nights here while we visited the beach and Disneyland. The kids liked the pool. I thought the front desk staff was amazing. It was a fantastic stay. Breakfast was decent.

I have stayed here over 20 nights, and I will continue to stay here. A true hidden gem. The pool is heated and the hot tub is perfect. Why waist more $ to stay at the beach or near Disneyland… Stay here. 15 minutes from Laguna Beach and 20 minutes from Disneyland. Beautiful court yard and the staff is incredible! Thanks to the staff for making another vacation awesome!

Yep, it's a motel but a pretty decent and affordable place to stay for a quick trip. How much time are you really spending in the room anyways?

I loved everything. Location, rooms food, and such friendly staff. Great places to eat all around, did some shopping which was fun. Rooms were very clean. Parking was great. Hospital was near to visit my daughter in law. I will be returning. Thanks you to the staff for a great experience.

The Laguna Hills Lodge is a terrific spot close to the Irvine Spectrum and Laguna Woods Village. I've stayed here several time while visit my grandparents and certainly will again in the future. The office staff have always been very helpful as are the ladies who run the lunch room.

I'd give this run down, old, crusty MOTEL zero stars if I could. I travel to OC everyweek for business, and I often need a satisfactory business center. Not only are all their machines from the mid 90s, I asked the front desk to send a fax for me… Guess what the ignorant counter clerk had to say … "sure, for $1 per page" Are you kidding me?! I've NEVER been charged for faxing at a REAL hotel. I used hotwire to book this room, and I will NEVER give this landscaped Motel 6 another hard earned cent out of my pocket. Stay away from this place… It's ridiculous. A/C smells bad. Parking is terrible. Staff isn't knowledgeable of the area, and most importantly, their hospitality is disgusting.

My experience with this establishment was less than satisfactory. The rooms are outdated; carpet is nasty; the desk clerk was sleeping in their backroom on Thursday morning (10/30/14 around 4:15 am) when I was to check out, and the breakfast staff behind the counter was rude to three young ladies that were obviously out-of-towners, who didn't know the procedures of the Lodge. The server should be ashamed of himself. The last time I checked, lodging establishments were customer service based. That's how you treat your customers? It's a wonder this place has any business! I stayed for three nights (three nights too many) for $93.00 plus tax. Personally, I would have rather stayed in a Motel 6! This establishment needs to update their amenities, customer service, and overhaul their employee policies. I will not stay here again and I do not recommend it for anyone, no matter how low the price may go… what I paid was way too much! Stay away and spend the money somewhere else! Oh and by the way, is it a management policy of Laguna Hills Lodge to have the front desk clerk sleeping on company time? His quote to me was, “Sir, I was just taking a nap. ” It took him 8 minutes to awake… good thing there wasn't an emergency! Really, is this acceptable for your establishment? I’m just askin'…
