Stayed here a bunch of times, great breakfast some nice rooms, it's hit or miss if we get a nice rooms are not, seems like only half of the rooms have been remodeled, so a little disappointed if we get an old room for the same price. Parking is ok but they lock all the access points around the hotel so no matter where you park you still have to use the front entrance. Overall not a bad bang for your buck, 5 min from Disneyland.

Good location close to the parks of Disneyland, the room was good according to the price.

Hit or miss type place. Stayed here for 4 weeks and went home every other 5 days. So I had 4 different rooms… Every room is different. Very out dated, loud freeway noise on one side. Very slow elevators! Only 1 entrance to the entire hotel. Every door on the perimeter is exit only. So if your in floor 4, in the back, you have to park where you can and walk through the front lobby… Rooms are pretty clean and service is great. Breakfast is 8/10 but don't be late! …

The hotel is not bad but if you are very over valued the internet does not work until the early morning hours when there are no longer people connected.

A wonderful experience hotel very clean, customer service excellent, good breakfast, shuttle bus all day back and forth to the parks of Disneyland and cal7. Adventure.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, but sadly I didn't take any pictures. The room was nice, and the housekeeping service was wonderful. They offered complimentary Wi-Fi, but it only worked on and off, and that too to a degree. They also offered free breakfast, but something I would recommend is varying the options that were presented every morning. Overall, it's a good hotel, but some improvements could really level it up from good to great.

Location is decent for Disneyland, not walkable but a quick shuttle ride away. And that's the end of the good. Room was absolutely disgusting. Walked in and was greeted by the most disgusting moldy salad smell, then discovered the only outlets that worked were the ones the lamps were plugged in to and the 1 in the bathroom. Tried to wash our hands in the bathroom only to find out there was absolutely zero hot water pressure and only shot out cold water. Then during a shower, our feet and ankles received an unwelcome bath while the water poured out of the nozzle on the wall and the tub didn't drain. Upon check out (we left after only one night and decided to just eat the lost money and go elsewhere) I was asked why we were leaving early to which I replied we were switching hotels because we were unsatisfied. The front desk woman repeatedly asked me why I didn't call the help desk for someone to fix all the problems in the room and made it seem as though the problems were my issue for not reporting. No patron should ever have this many issues at any establishment then feel at fault for the hotel's poor quality maintenance of their rooms. (I should add we were in the room for all of 7 hours, 2 hours attempting to fall asleep, 5 hours tossing and turning due to an absolutely awful mattress). Do yourselves a favor and don't stay here.

Well it's never really good when a Hotel waste your time. I tried calling for the manager three days in a row and finally was able after five messages to be able to get a hold of her with absolutely no conclusion. There was issues with the room and it was unclean and we had to change him the first night and then the second night there was still issues as well. It is unacceptable to find a woman's bra and a sex towel in your room. But I guess this is what is acceptable behavior for customer service and maid service. I'm extremely disappointed at the customer service received as well as of the crappy Front Desk Manager.

Great hotel for the price. 10-15 minutes on the shuttle to get to Disney. I liked that they have free parking (some of the other hotels closer to Disney charge a parking fee), free shuttle to/from Disney, and free breakfast. The breakfast is great! Every morning we had several hot items to choose from (sausage, bacon, eggs, potatoes, etc. ) as well as other cold items to choose from. The rooms and pool area are not anything too impressive, but they're completely acceptable for the price. We stayed here last summer and I plan on staying here again the next time that Disney's on the agenda.

Under construction… all doors but the main entrance are locked all the time, even though they say they are open until 8. Stained carpets, loud noises ALL NIGHT from the air units in other rooms, thin walls and floors, no soap or change machine in the laundry room and no cash operated soda machine, cards only. Hope there is good (new) management planning on fixing these issues because overall it's supposed to be a nice hotel/conference center.

Good. The only problem was that business center printer didn't work.

Staff nice, nice location, breakfast plentiful and rooms clean and spacious but the bed too broken.

Nice, spacious lobby right when you walk into the hotel. They also have a few large conference rooms for meetings and the staff were really nice. It's definitely not your high end hotel, but it does do its best to give you that feeling when you walk in.

Good attention the staff attentive and speaks Spanish opposite there is a mall to eat and buy things.

This place is horrible. Old building, does not appear to be upgraded. Property sits right next to a busy highway and the road noise makes it impossible to get any quiet sleep if on the wrong side if the building. The building shakes when large trucks driver by. The toilet lever is falling off. Dark rooms and old carpeting. No central air or heat, only window units from the 70-80s. Called front desk 3 times to ask for a quieter room and was told they were very busy and they would call me back later, which they did not. To top it off, I asked for a wake up call, they confirmed it the night before and I never received a call in the morning. Do yourselves a favor, pay a little more and avoid this place!

It is a good department and close to da Disney and there are many clothing tied fences.

Great friendly staff. My family and I love the breakfast and gift shop and the hotel really came through with the roll away bed. This are second time here and can't wait to return.

Service was good: fast and efficient. However, the 4 people room we had only contained 2 double beds, which was much smaller than expected. Location of the hotel was good, it's got food places really close by, and is relatively close to Hollywood. However, the Wi-Fi speed was a huge letdown, and would randomly disconnect as well.

I would give this Hotel a 4.5, the staff we dealt with were amazing! There was a slight issue in our first room & we informed the front desk, they were so helpful getting us into another room within minutes, even a better view of the pool. Their buffet breakfast was outstanding, we loved it! Close to Knotts Berry Farm & Disneyland theme parks & right next door to a small shopping center which was so helpful. Friendly staff and we definitely will be back!

An excellent place for a few days of rest.

Room smelled of mould and the carpet was stained. We couldn't use the heater because as soon as we turned it on, the smell of burnt something caused the fire alarm to go off. At least breakfast was good. Lobby looks wonderful, but seems added onto the main hotel area. For the price, it's about what I expected, though until they remodel the rooms I won't be recommending it any time soon.

It was bitter sweet. I wanted to like the hotel but after coming home, I realized I would not stay here again. Pros: They have a free breakfast buffet with LOTS of seating and LOTS of options. The didn't just have waffles and cereal like other places usually do. They had eggs, bacon, hash browns, pancakes, french toast, fruit, milk, water, juice, coffee and much more. They have a free shuttle to the park that is not a mini van. It is a big bus with LOTS of seating which allowed it to fit everyone comfortably. I booked two rooms and I called a week before and the morning of and they were able to accommodate our requests by putting them side by side. Cons: The night we checked in they were hosting a party and our room was so close that it kept us up until 2 am because it was so loud. They did not restock our tissues after they ran out the first day. The ice machines did not work. I called to ask if they had microwaves or refrigerators and I was told no microwaves but they did have refrigerators in the rooms. Ours did not have a refrigerator, so with no fridge and no ice we had to throw away food we brought. That alone was irritating because I called and confirmed and they lied. Wires were left exposed across one of our rooms ceilings. Our room ended up having ants the last night/day. They were everywhere besides the bathroom. When we checked out and told them, they said they could not do anything since we booked through a third party.

I attended a 15-year-old party; All well organized on part of the hotel Howard waiters very attentive… but… hook private Security; The staff almost very humiliating with the guests coming almost to be discriminatory.

I still have another night in this Howard Johnson hotel at Fullerton and it's unbearable. The room 107 smells like a mildew so strongly that I have to take allergy pills to sleep. The first room we checked in on the 4th floor had very strong smoke smell (a non-smoking room! ). To be fair, staff was very responsive and gave us a different room right away. But I guess all rooms in this hotel are that horrible. The carpet is disgusting, smelly, soiled, and had a dead cricket in the middle of the room. Toilet doesn't work properly, only every 2d or 3d flash is successful. The whole hotel is old and dirty. And this is not a cheap hotel at all! Dear Wyndham, please don't discredit your name and renovate this hotel! Looking forward to check out.

Clean, older HoJo. I'll shell out more to stay elsewhere next time but the Disney shuttle is awesome and the price is right. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Pricey for a run down hotel. Breakfast is their only real claim. It's a nice big set up. Good food. Rooms are just old and needs a lift.

My step at Howard Johnson Inn was great. Very clean and quiet.

The staff was friendly and located close to shopping and dining options. The room we got looked old (needed paint job and new carpet). Thr entire restroom needs to renovated.

Room is clean. Free breakfast has a decent buffet selection. Pillows are a bit too thick. I asked for something a bit more shallow, but they ended up bringing the same pillow.

It is a very clean and tidy place. It has very good service staff and very nice.

Great place, loved the service here. The food is incredible and they have a shuttle bus to get to diseny land and back from various times. The pool here is great, on cold days it is warm and and warm days it will cool you off.

We had a meeting room for 2 days and spent one night at the Hotel. This was our first time. The staff was GREAT and very accommodating. We look forward to using this Hotel again in the future. Thanks, Jim.

We stayed here for two nights. It was okay. It gave us a bed to sleep in. However… The bed sheets did not fit the bed properly and we're torn. The pillows felt like we were sleeping on petrified cotton… Or rocks. We had one feather pillow, which was okay, but it didn't help all that much. Walking through the halls, it reminded me of walking into a house that had flood damage because all I could smell was mildew, or what I thought smelled of mildew. I was disappointed with what we got because I've stayed at other hotels for around the same price and received better way better accommodations. In all, the hotel needs an upgrade and renovations. Other than that, the staff was very friendly and seemed like they enjoyed their jobs.

No stars for this place, was possibly the worst stay I have ever had. First night somone tried charging my credit card for 140 dollars there I had to block my card and call each time I had to use it 3 days later they tried charging for 240. They gave me a free night but I don't think that was enough plus the workers in front desk are super rude one lady I think was a manager told a man he was no longer allowed at the hotel because he got upset he wasn't being helped and spoke English and they still tried getting him a translator. Worst vacation. One star to be able to post.

Had requested a rollaway bed and let the hotel know we were checking in late. When we arrive their system was down and the girl said it's been done for a while she was getting use to it night after night. We get to our room to find no roll away. I can down and get told it's 11.00 extra yes I know I asked for it when I made my reservation. At 1153 pm still no roll away call back and get told oh we are out. Excuse me I requested it for a reason and was told they can bring extra blankets to be able to sleep on the floor. Not worth 200.00 a night and a horrible experience.

We went here for a professional seminar. The room was packed but the AC worked well, which we really appreciated comparing to the other places we've been to. The restroom was located conveniently to the conference room. The overall ambience was generally satisfying.

Horrible hotel! Would never stay here again. Horrible hospitality, their rooms are filthy, smelly, and have cockroaches. Please don't let their images fool you. It claims to be a 3 star hotel which is not. I don't think it's even possible to rate it. Awful!

Sub par place. Cool if you cannot find a room close to Disneyland but if you can avoid it please do. Very unkept lobby, grounds looked trashy plus construction all around the hotel. Maybe when they finish their remodel it might be worth it.

The hotel is nice and rooms are clean. However, and this is my fault, there was no microwave or even mini fridge. First hotel I've been to In a while that doesn't have one, brought food with us we had to waste. Otherwise stay is fine.

The hotel has a very nice lobby that makes you feel like you just entered a 4 star resort because it's so roomy and wide. There's also a lot of interesting decorations inside as well. Overall it's a nice hotel that I would definitely visit again.

Wouldn't stay here again if it were FREE! Rude Manager Frank tried to charge us $114 instead of our booked price of $74. Booked a room that allowed 5 to the room, but they charged us for FREE breakfast! Literally SARDINED into the free shuttle, kids sitting on steps and people standing up by driver. Maids admitted that covers on beds are not washed every time. Watched maid drop pillows onto disgusting floor while changing pillow cases. STINKY, NASTY, NOISY, BAD NEIGHBORHOOD, RUDE STAFF! Looks to be family owned and operated and out for every $. Definitely not in it for return business, just a quick buck! They insist on maid service every 2 days, as hotel policy! Never had Hilton tell me that. I wouldn't allow them in my room while not there. They even warn you that they will charge you for missing items. Don't trust them!

The hotel has been nice, my only qualm at this point is that the front desk staff needs to be more quiet about scolding other employees out in the open. Verbally berating a shuttle driver openly and loudly for all to hear for missing a shuttle to the airport is unprofessional and questions wether I want to spend my money on a business that has no professionalism.

Beautiful motel with a lush lobby for the price it is a great place! Quiet and good location too, staff is very chill!

We got there and they gave us the wrong room. We were booked for one king bed, they gave us 2 beds. Which we really didn't need. When we moved rooms, the other room didn't have a working TV. Our room wasn't cleaned but that wasn't entirely their fault, we didn't know that they stopped cleaning rooms after 10, most places I've stayed at check throughout the day so I expected this place to be the same. When we called about the TV not working and us not getting our room cleaned they quickly brought fresh towels and apologized. So over all I didn't hate staying there but would have been nice if things worked.

DO NOT STAY HERE! ROACHES! his was the worst hotel experience of my life! First when I checked in the front desk was extremely rude. I made my reservation online, and I arrived at check in time. I waited 3 hours to check in due to a problem with there system. I finally get to my room, and it was pretty bad. There was hair in the shower like it wasn't cleaned. It looked extremely ran down. The last straw was when I seen a dead roach on the floor in the bathroom. Then, I go to grab my stuff out of the hotel room drawer, and there was another one right by my stuff! After, I immediately spoke with the front desk. She asked me to show her the dead roach I seen. After she seen it for herself, she called the manager to tell him. We went back to the front desk. Then, the manager tells me I don't get a refund, and hes keeping my deposit. I never smoked in that room the front desk girl seen me smoking outside way before all of this, and when she went and checked for the roach she said nothing about a smoke smell. They just made up whatever they could so they wouldn't have to refund me and so they could keep my deposit. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. It was a complete waste of money. By the end of the night I paid for two hotels and a deposit for no reason.

This really is a hidden Jewel In Fullerton, I loved my stay there. Staff is so friendly, the pool grounds are like your own Tranquil Oasis within a busy city. Lets not forget the Buffet Breakfast. FREE and amazing! I will be staying there again for now on.

We went to Disneyland on My Daughter Bday on August 15. Stayed in this hotel. Love it! People were very nice & the Breakfast buffet was really nice & fulling with lots of thing to chose from. They had plenty of everything! Room was nice & comfty & my kids & husband loved the pool! I will def stay there again! For the price it's well worth it! They have a free shuttle to Disneyland.

Hotel would be fine if you were staying overnight, however if you're staying longer you need to go elsewhere. Beds are terrible. Found a burn hole in one of the blankets of the FIRST room I was staying in. Went out and came back for a few items. Maids were just down the hall and asked if we still needed the room cleaned. Said yes I would still need it cleaned. Came into my room and noticed the bathroom floor was all wet — maybe from the toilet. Called down to the desk and the girl I spoke to said she'd notify maintenance and they'd be able to check it out. I told her that I was just coming to get a few items and I wouldn't be there. She said ok. Came back 6 hours later and tried to use my key. Wouldn't work. Went down to the desk to see what was wrong. They said they had moved my room due to the toilet and deactivated my key. They never called any cellphone to notify. How would I get my stuff? I didn't want to move. They gave me a new key. I just threw towels on the floor of the bathroom (gross, I know). Also the maids never came to clean the room even though I said it would need to be cleaned. Fast forward to 2:30 am. Woke up on fire. Air conditioning is broken. It's August in California. Room is very muggy. Opened window as much as it could go. No screen. My brother was woken by a possible mosquito that flew in and bit him. Went down to the desk to notify management I would need a room change. Stood at the desk for a few minutes before staff came to help me.

First night we checked in at 5 pm and we were greeted with very friendly service. The staff was fantastic, the room was very nice for the price and the breakfast was a real hot breakfast, not those lame continental breakfast some offer that includes a waffle and banana with water haha. The only inconvenience we had was the fact that the pool was not in service due to some repairs… but we were compensated for the inconvenience. Definitely would recommend it if your staying in the area which includes Anaheim. By the way they offer a free ride to Disneyland.

We stayed at the hotel from 6/22/15 — 6/25/15. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we first arrived at the front desk. We had a king size room on the second floor. Didn't have any complaints, it was a nice room. Ice machine was just down the hall and one floor below us so that was nice. Breakfast was great and took advantage of that every morning. We did use the Disney shuttle. It starts at 8:00 am and leaves every hour until after 12 pm. Then it starts back up at 5:00 pm and goes until 12:00 am Midnight. My only complaint is that they charged my credit card incorrectly but quickly corrected it and am awaiting the charge back. If you don't mind getting to Disneyland at 8:20 in the morning (20 minutes after they actually open), then this is the place for you. I will be honest, if I were to go to Disneyland again, this would be the place to stay. Free parking and free breakfast? Not bad for what I paid.

Just checked in. Dont trust the pics! So old inside and out! 1980 called and they want there tvs back! Staff was extremely nice but unfortunately it doesn't update the hotel. It made me lose all confidence in howard johnson hotels and will never book there again.

75$ for 4 people in one night. That's great. They are also offer pool, Wi-Fi and breakfast. The room isn't look small and unclean. With me, I feel satisfy.

My daughter and I stayed here 4/1/15-4/7/15. The staff was very friendly. The building could use some updating but the room was clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the water pressure in the shower. The free breakfast was basically the same every morning but it was sufficient, offering eggs, potatoes, pancakes, bacon/sausage, fruit, cereal, baked goods, and juices. The gift shop is quite small and dirty but I did go in to buy a small first aid kit. We used the free shuttle to Disney, which leaves on the hour starting at 8. My 9 yr old enjoyed the outdoor heated pool. My biggest complaints were that when someone checked in to the room next to us, we could hear them through the walls (they were really loud) and I could not seem to get a wake up call. I did not call the front desk directly and ask for a call, I just tried the button on the phone and got a bust signal each time so I just set my alarm. Given what I paid for the room ($55/night through bookit) it was pretty much what I expected.

Needs some serious renovation. Even that maybe it is clean it smells and looks not clean. Atleast the staff is friendly and there is some low speed free Wi-Fi to check mail. If you can get it for cheap, go for it.

My family and I ended up staying at this Hotel for two nights on 10/07/2014 through 10/09/2014 and was the worst experience we've ever experienced. This hotel need a great amount of repairs and remodeling. Our room was horrible due to the smell of urine when the AC is turned on. There's stains and damages throughout our room. The mattress was worn and uneven. The mattress cover didn't even fit the mattress! The blanket and pillow were horrible! I've stayed at Motel 6 better than this place! The bathroom was very damaged without air vent. The pictures on their website is very deciving. The breakfast was all that great as well. We had to pay for our daughter since they only give out 2 free breakfast vouchers for our stay. You've been WARNED.

Ok if your not going to spend much time in the room. Kinda disappointed with breakfast not being able to be taken out of the dinning room. My room was not in the best conditions. I have stayed at better hotels for the same price. Pool was great though.

Our 2 night stay (April 25-27) was Fantastic! We got a non-smoking room/ 2 beds in the tower area and it looked great. The beds were comfortable, the restroom was roomy, our balcony had comfortable furniture and a nice view of the pool. GREAT buffet breakfast in the mornings. Your choice of OJ, Apple J, Milk, scrambled eggs, Spanish rice, roasted or hash potatoes, dollar pancakes, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, cereal, and toast from 6am-9am. For the value, our stay was perfect for our 7yr old and us. 1 mile from Disneyland and they have free shuttles every hour. I was leery on staying because of previous negative comments but on the contrary, everything seemed clean and the employees were helpful. Will definitely stay here every time we come to Anahiem.

Came for this past 3 day weekend stayed for 4 days 3 nights and our rooms were dirty and musty. Each room had a different carpet that was not fastened to the floor correctly between rooms (room 428 and 426). Our TV and telephone did not work, they finally fixed my TV the last night we were there. My father in-law "lost" his wallet in the lobby. We tore apart the area we were in 4 different times 7 sets of eyes looking for it. Got a call 4 hours later informing me they found the wallet in the exact spot we were looking for it minus over 300 dollars that were in the wallet. We asked them to review the tape but informed us only the manager can and wouldn't be in until Monday. Frustrated with this answer and lack of customer service from the employees and no service from any manager we made a police report. Finally when the manager graced my father in law with his presence on monday informed him he would review it but would not be able to compensate bc we made a police report 2 days earlier. More frustration when we informed Howard Johnson corporate they told us they could not do anything either bc it is a franchise and that I have to deal with there management and franchisee. Over night I'd give it an OK but anything more than an overnight seek else where. The breakfast is OK the bus and drivers r not very pleasant or accommodating for over filled buses. If it is filled u either sit on someone's lap or have to wait the extra hour until the next bus arrives.

Hotel that fulfills its mission, only get to sleep. Breakfast is sick and you see that the hotel had better days. The good thing is that you have transportation to Disney parks and is not far from them.
