Beautiful resort! Friendly staff, 24 hour pool and hot tub. Location is a little odd although it is fairly central. Lovely property and the room is more like a full condo. Steam shower is amazing!

Wish I could give this resort more than 5 stars! We’ve already made plans to come back next year. Offers more amenities than other resorts we’ve stayed at in this area. Beautiful views of mountains. Excellent housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk staff. Beds & pillows very comfy. Spacious condo with 2 full baths. Full kitchen. Close to shopping. Lots of areas to walk. Quiet & private setting. I can’t express how great we think this resort is. Wish I could stay another few weeks.

Staff was friendly and attentive. The upstairs bedroom of our two bedroom unit needed repair (cracked caulking) and cleaning (mildew in the shower and skylight). I've been an owner for quite a few years and this is as bad as I've ever seen it.

Great Stay. I booked a 3 night stay for Coachella weekend. It was very comfortable and the rooms are big. We were able to check in 2 hrs earlier. I would definitely stay her again. 30-20mins away from Indio. Not bad.

The service here was pretty good. The amenities were also pretty good. We stayed as part of a time share, so we didn't receive daily housekeeping. The pool was pretty good, but there were some grumpy old ladies who scowled at my kids for being kids in the pool.

Large rooms with modern appliances on beautiful grounds. Friendly people and free use of quality bikes, tennis, ping pong, racquet ball, and more. No breakfast but free coffee all day and a restaurant next door. Close to shopping, groceries, Walgreens (all just a short walk). Good pool and hot tub, carport parking. It's very comfortable and I felt like home.

What a great place to stay! Quiet, spacious, with excellent service staff. This was much better than advertised and we are staying here every time we go to Palm Springs. Seriously, done looking.

Great place to center your visit to Palm Springs. Close to all the things you want to see, facilities are nice with pools and dry sauna. We stayed in a unit with two baths, steam room, open living room nice kitchen area. Really recomend this place and we travel a Lot! Great value! Freindly people!

The hotel was in a good area, the room was well kept and had plenty of space. The beds were not very comfortable though, the balcony was huge and had a grill which was nice. The biggest complaint I have is the shower water pressure. It would be fine when you first get in, then would completely go away and you had to try and adjust the water to get some pressure back. That part was awful for being there for almost a week and not being able to have a good shower. Other than that it was great, and the front desk gentleman was very nice.

Rooms are nice and clean, though the TV aren't in front of the sofa. But I didn't come here to watch TV, but it still would have been nice. Steam room is an amazingly nice touch. Very friendly staff. Would stay again.

Desert Isle Resort is one of the best places to stay when visiting Palm Springs. We have come her every year for the past several years. Always beautiful and close to both Downtown Palm Springs and Cathedral City. Excellent place to go to visit shops and find hidden treasures in the many vintage stores. The staff is increadible, we would like to give a shout out to our good friend Trenton. He always makes our stay something specials.

Extremely lovely accommodations. The staff is friendly. I will surely be back.

Nice sized bungalow. Close to the pool and hottub. Very quiet and very clean.

Unless you have a large family and need the space, don't spend the money. This is a time-share place and has a large, well equipped kitchen but no daily housekeeping. I had several maintenance issues and they would not change me to another room because she said "we are full with owners". When I pointed out that there were not even any cars in the parking areas the night before she said "a lot of our owners don't have cars". The furniture was old and musty — bed very old. But I actually thought the lizard in the shower was a cute touch. I did catch him and put him back outside in the desert. Nice pool.

Been coming to this place for a few years now. Wonderful staff, AWESOME spacious rooms and breath taking views. Can't beat it.

Great south palm springs location, drugstore and restaurants literally next door, which is convenient. Grounds are well manicured rooms are updated and comfy. Staff was particularly friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.

My stay at the hotel wasn't so great. We had to wait 3 hours from our check in time because our room cleaners were at lunch (they should've cleaned it before going to lunch). Some of our lights weren't working, the parking was confusing, the stairs looked really old and creaked. The front desk seemed really tired and looked like they didn't want to work. A suggestion for the hotel would be a check up on the rooms, quality improvements, friendlier employees, and better cleaning services. The good parts were the prices, sizes of the room, and quiet environment.

Rooms were very spacious the outside pool area was nice.

Nice place with a lot to do. Would go again.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this resort, bugs in the rooms is a norm they claim. We had plenty of them. Need I say more?

Just completed our week at Desert Isle today. Good location that is close to dining in either Palm Springs or Palm Desert. The Manhattan Grill was the restaurant closest to our location so we had breakfast, lunch and dinner there on several occasions during the week. The pool was uncrowded and the grounds were very clean. Good wine selection at Jensen's (which is across the street) with Jersey Mike's and McDonald's — for fast food foodies. We drove to both Borrego Springs and Julian which were both about 90 minutes away.

VERY UNFORTUNATE! We really loved this place but this stay of ours will be the last… Extremely poor service by staff. We booked two rooms and had a cockroach problem in both, and one of the rooms the toilet was leaking and my sister actually tripped and fell. We called when the toilet problem happened and they told us that it's too late in the day so there is no maintenance staff available so he just said turn off the valve and we'll take a look at it in the morning. In the morning they came and basically said were lying and that there is no problem with the toilet. Very ridiculous. When we checked out Ray White was the only one at the desk and with attitude he basically accused us of lying, said we gave his co workers a hard time and said we didn't fill out a report? (No one ever told us anything about a report or we would've gladly filed one). Ray was extremely rude, instead of apologizing he gave us attitude and said he remembers us from earlier this year and said we gave him a problem again? Lool! Last time we were there was last year and we left really pleased that's why we came back. Literally he pointed to the door and said "that's the door leave". I have never experienced such poor service and hence for that reason because of the way they handled the situation I will never be back and I will make sure to tell all of my friends and family to stay far away from this place.

My husband and I love this places. It's peacful and the condos are beautiful.

We used our timeshare to stay this weekend and attended the Riverside County Fair Datefest which was about 1/2 hour east in Indio. The Desert Isle grounds are always very nice & the staff is always a pleasure to see. It's an older structure so the rooms are very spacious they've even done some remodeling & they have the best steam room type showers! My family visits yearly and will continue! We always get rooms right in front of the pool & the kids love it!

This will be our 8th year back there. We love it! We will not go to Palm Springs unless we can stay there. We love the surroundings. The bungalows are furnished comfortably. The grounds are well kept and everyone is so nice. Plus we have the privacy and quietness of a much needed getaway.
