Wanted to getaway for a couple of days so chose this hotel for me and my family and our dog Max. I was not disappointed. I've been in customer service for over 30yrs so I'm very critical when it comes to poor customer service and false advertising but this place and their staff and the cost made me leave feeling that I received everything they advertised. My family and I are PLEASED.

I used to work at Hampton Inn in Elk Grove CA. This hotel is much nicer and very stylish and super clean. I highly recommended BW hotel. I am very pleased.

A fresh breakfast — eggs cooked while you wait. No previously frozen eggs. A real treat compared to many places to stay.

Absolutely, positively fantastic! Stays for 4 nights to move my son into college and everything and everyone has been wonderful! Clean rooms. Nice pool. Decent fitness center. Superb made-to-order breakfast. Staff is excellent! I can’t say enough. Thank you for making my stay great!

The view from 346 is amazing. A. C. Works great I enjoyed my nice king room it was clean and breakfast was awesome I usually never eat Hotel breakfast because it's usually just hot and cold cereal not this one this one had a whole Grill where they made you eggs and bacon and hash browns sausage pancakes made to order and it was great I had breakfast both days I was there. Cleaning staff was great when she changed Out stuff. Check in was super easy. They even had my last name already on my room key's And explained how to get to my room. Thank you so much I will definitely be back.

This was my second time staying at this location. It was just as good as the first. The rooms are very well taken care of. The front desk is great on check-in and giving information about the area. This is now my choice of stay when in the Coachella Valley.

Location was great, near a lot of stores and restaurants. The rooms are dated but recently fixed up. Clean rooms, very clean. Staff was very professional and helpful. One complaint is that the room I got was unfortunately having issues with the air conditioning. The staff relocated me to a better room in 10 minutes. The new room was only slightly better at staying cool but better nonetheless.

The lobby was welcoming, as was the staff. The room was ready when I arrived. I appreciated the pre-check in available through my email. Very convenient. The room itself was adequate, nothing fancy, but it was very clean. All in all, a comfortable stay.

This is such a wonderful hotel. The rooms are very clean and cozy, the staff are incredible and the entire place is super relaxed. Nice environment, ample parking, nice pool and jacuzzi. I absolutely love the free breakfast! So many options including pancakes eggs toast yogurt oatmeal and more! Tons a hot delicious coffee too. Honestly the breakfast made my day! The rooms have a fridge and coffee, so great. This has made my work trip so amazing.

The reception is rather refrigerant, it may be to refresh us compared to the outside temperature. Spacious room with small living room and small balcony. The pool is however small in comparison with the number of guests. Breakfast is OK, no more for this type of establishment.

Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms with balcony. Such a treat to sit outside on the little patio. Terrific breakfast included with stay (the bacon is out of this world). We look forward to coming here every Memorial Day weekend; it's our happy place.

The Best Western Palm Desert was a good value. We stayed in a KIng room the first night. The King room seemed worn and outdated but was clean and acceptable. The standard rooms face a courtyard and facing the other buildings with balconies do not offer much privacy and are close to the swimming pool which was very active and noisy. We moved to a King Suite the second and third night which were in a separate building away from the pool and the balcony is facing a garden area and not the other buildings which was quieter and more private. We would recommend the suites over the standard rooms. The service from the front desk, housekeeping and the restaurant staff at breakfast was excellent. We had a pleasant stay, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel and grounds are clean and well staffed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was so nice. Great location and super friendly staff. Cleaned out room a bit early for my liking. While on vacation I like to sleep in some. They were knocking at 8:30:/

A motel with a pool is not a "resort. " Property is old, but recently painted and upgraded. Nice bedspread designs and pillows. And they got rid of the who-knows-what-in — it carpeting. Nice laminate flooring. A/C was noisy. A few very minor things in rooms not working properly, A/C noisy. Okay for price. There's cheaper for same accommodations in Palm Desert, or much nicer for a little more money. Breakfast was incredible however!

Nice place but dated. Rooms should be updated/cleaned. Staff is good and friendly. They clean the rooms good and such. Conveniently located near heart of Palm Desert.

I have nothing bad to say about this place overall stay was outstanding. Peter at the front desk gave us the best service, he really cares about the guests and goes above and beyond to make sure your satisfied and your stay is a memorable one. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Peter ☺

It's a beautiful place. In the middle of the city but you cannot hear any noises. You can hear neighbors through the walls quite loud. Cooks are so funny! It's a pleasure to eat breakfast here! There's plenty of parking spots. And they also have a swimming pool and a hot tub!

A chic and very well maintained accommodation. Nice pool area with seat and lounge. Reception and breakfast areas neat and clean. The staff are always nice and friendly. Breakfast inside and outside possible. The facility is absolutely recommended. Each room has a balcony or terrace so you can sleep with the door open. There are local and shopping areas in the immediate vicinity. The price of the rooms is justified.

The accommodations and the amenities were really good. Our AC unit was out on the first night and the toilet seat was cracked but the staff was quick to fix the issues. The breakfast is also really good as I need a protein fix in the morning and they have 2 cooks that cook up sausages, bacon, eggs, pancakes, and hash browns. Everything was cooked as expected and tasted great except for the shredded hash browns which were way too salty. I thought this was a 1 day mistake but we stayed for 3 days and each day was the same level of saltiness. I would recommend homestyle hash browns which are larger and less likely to be over seasoned. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back again. Thanks!

The room was quiet and clean. We had eggs and bacon a few days and a cold buffet the other days. Great location with great signage and pet friendly. All the people were great!

The location was good and the staff were very friendly.

These rooms are very basic and clean, but it is a lower-end of quality. The room I had was cold and the temperature controls were not easily accessible. Also the windows overlooked the street and the car noises were fairly audible all night long. The walls are fairly thin so you can hear what is going on outside the front door above your head and in other rooms adjacent. The breakfast was good and made to order. Although it did not begin until 7 a. M. Which is a little bit late for people who have to do business. Overall I thought the value wasn't super but it "got the job done. "

Outstanding hotel for the value in Palm Desert. Very comfortable and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was exceptional — a short-order chef makes your breakfast special. Hot cakes, eggs any way you want, bacon and hash browns. Delish!

They are very clean and look very quiet.

Great value for money. Spacious and clean rooms, Windows could be opened. Equipped with everything you need. Comfortable beds and: sometimes no carpet-sleeve but laminate floors.
Breakfast was included and supposed to be very good, but we didn't use it as it was from 7-10 pm and we slept.
A variety of good restaurants can be reached on foot. In the surrounding area there are many shopping facilities and it is also not far for hiking. Top!

Good location, excellent breakfast, good staff. My two complaints are easily fixed: 1. The toilet seat in our room, 217, was smaller than it should have been. We literally had to slide a finger nail, or something very thin, under the edge in order to lift the lid or seat. 2. There's only one elevator per building which is plenty 90% of the time. BUT, during the"double morning rush" * we sometimes waited way too long. *Double morning rush is the rush of both guests and housekeeping. Even this would not be a problem if management would train housekeeping to take ONLY ONE CART at a time onto the elevator. If they take one cart it only takes a second to get the cat on and there's still room for guests. But when they take two carts it takes them a minute or more to muscle the carts and that leaves NO ROOM for guests. This is POOR MANAGEMENT because the staff have not been trained.

Just attended a seminar here in the ballroom. Very comfortable with close proximity to the restrooms. The lobby was clean and welcoming. Easy access from the main highway.

Very nice place to stay. Friendly service. Room comfortable. Breakfast much better than we normally experience at Best Westerns and equivalent places.

This is the best Best Western I have stayed at. The room (to be expected) was very nice. The housekeeping staff clearly attentive to the guest's needs. But the nicest surprise was the prepared-to-order breakfast. My partner and I were used to Best Westerns in various cities around the country, and this was clearly in the top three. The pool was clean and well maintained. I did have a minor noise complaint that was handled within five minutes. Try it, you'll see.

We’ve stayed here a few times as a stopover while traveling from AZ to CA. Lots of shopping around this hotel. Great staff here, very accommodating! Full Breakfast with large clean breakfast room and the eggs are cooked to your specifications. Nice for the price, this is an older, looks like 80’s hotel that is renovated, most rooms have balconies or patios, nice for the price, but could use some extra care in maintenance. Pleasant stay.

We usually stay here when we transit through, so we know the place well. It serves the "full hot breakfast" that is promoted by the BW chain with a twist. Your breakfast is cooked to order by a chef, the coffee is great, and all the rest is serve-yourself. Some of the chef's have a little attitude, and so do some travellers, so it can be fun if you like to people-watch. It's very well located on the main highway, 111, near shopping, golf courses, the tennis gardens and great places to eat. It's constantly being updated, which is good and bad at the same time, but it insures the hotel will be here when you arrive.

Judging by the price, you get a good performance for this Hotel/Motel. The rooms were absolutely fine, a small pool and Jacuzzi were available and the breakfast was freshly prepared.

This place is in a great location close to shops and restaurants and not far from Palm Springs. The rooms are very clean the front desk people are really nice. You get a great deal for what you pay. I've stayed here several times and it's always been consistent. They have free Wi-Fi and free parking and there's no resort fee.

A first-class budget hotel with pool and good amenities.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Palm Desert. Loved the breakfast, easy access to pool from room, the pool, sauna and staff. We stayed at 4 different hotels/motels during our stay in California and this was by far the best experience. Only thing I wished was better was the Wi-Fi but overall still very satisfied. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Best value anywhere. Don't prejudge just by the Best Western name. There is lots to like about this place. They remodel every couple of years and the amenities are quite good. To reliably do better you are likely to pay double. Once the staff sees you are a regular they become generous and often don't charge for room upgrades.

Looking for a safe, clean place to stay with the family in order to hike San Jacinto. This place made it feel like a mini vacation! Pool was very large for the size of the property, grounds and rooms are well kept and appointed and the free breakfast is really a full made-to-order hot breakfast with a surprising number of options! Everyone was very friendly and professional. I would stay here again! A great value!

Enjoyed my two night stay here. The location was nice and central, plenty of shops and restaurants nearby to enjoy. Our room was clean and parking is was conveniently adjacent to the rooms. The pool and jacuzzi area is spacious enough, though crowded at times. Their free breakfast for guests was good and fast, with multiple options cooked to order. Overall, a nice experience.

It was great! The rooms are very nice. We got a single king bed room with a balcony that overlooked the mountains. It was gorgeous in the morning during sunrise. The pool was nice although it was only 5 feet deep. Breakfast was amazing! When you walk in, you have the choice to place an order for eggs, bacon or sausage, and hash browns or a pancake breakfast. The two men that were cooking the food were really nice and helpful. Other than that they had the basics at a bar, cereal, bagels, toast, fruits, yogurt, etc. When we checked out the lady at the front desk was kind.

The pool is warm and the jacuzzi tub is hot. This place is clean and quiet. I love the hot breakfast in the mornings.

Great deal for around $100. Older but clean & nice beds. Cactus Jack's bar & grill within walking distance.

Overall, very pleasant. Great location, clean and friendly. I think that if a hotel is pet friendly, they should allocate only specific rooms for the pet people and if they sell out they move on and not let them stay in any rooms available. Offer non-pet as well as non-smoking rooms. Persons with animal allergies suffer when pets are sharing rooms.

We have been coming to this resort for about 10 years. We really enjoy seeing the same friendly employees and all the improvements they keep making. It is a great location and a wonderful place to stay.

Nice, clean, easily accessible from the road. This is a fine choice, with free Wi-Fi, free parking and a nice breakfast in the morning. Did not get a chance to use the pool on this visit but the pool area looks nice too. I think you can't go wrong with this Best Western Plus in Palm Desert.

I always stay here when I am visiting my parents. The room is clean and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and the internet is great. Only downer was the coughing fit that the person had in the next room at 5 am. It sounded like he/she was in the room with us! But, I have never had a problem with noise before.

THE STAFF WAS AWFUL the front desk lady yelled at me, my key didn't work for the first room or second room beds were the most uncomfortable things I've ever slept in, the TV picture didn't work the bathtub was difficult to use and I didn't come with a plug it was very run down I left my I pad there called the front desk and they didn't call me back, I waited an hour the pool was disgusting and unclean the breakfast was ok but nothing special but it was ok however the cooks were rude this is the worst hotel I have stayed at it is worse than a motel six worst western I'm really disappointed.

The breakfast was great, the rooms were ok, not being able to barbeque in the courtyard and the pool closing at 10 made the nights shorter than we wanted.

The bed was lopsided and felt like it was going to break in half. The continental breakfast was amazing, there was a lot to choose from.

Sink in bathroom very low. Breakfast cook to order. Nice touch but cook has an attitude, just don't change ur order…

The customer service of this hotel is the worses I ever seen, the receptionist specially whos name is Jesse is mean rude incompettent and racist I was driving here 14 hours to spend my hollyday here and was not able to give me quickly my booked and prepaid room and in addition to these he screaming I dont recommend to anyone to spend your time in this shity hotel.

The beds were comfy that's it. One of my worst hotel experiences ever. The card key for the door never worked after complaining about it numerous times, the issue was never resolved called the front desk about the issue and they wouldn't answer the phone. This is a terrible hotel.

Rooms and breakfest was ok. Pool was nice water was clean and had a good temperature for it being a hot day. AC in rooms sucked. We had to move 2 times first 2 rooms the Ac didnt work. 3 room was better Ac worked.

Great priced rooms, nice ppl. Exterior of the property is a dated, pool area could use a facelift. Overall stay for your money is not bad. I would stay again.

Medium-size pool, decent gym. Wow! FREE USA newspaper during the week. Wow! Ralph and CVS and surrounded by major shopping centers. Wow.

AC in the first room we were given didn't work so we had to move rooms. Second rooms AC wasn't much better. Bathrooms aren't all that nice for a "resort", especially the showers. On the plus side the pool was nice and clean and the full breakfast was great.

Way over priced! Low end room for $200 is sad compared to some sweets I have rented in the same price range. The beds are newer but cheap so already worn out and the bedding is from the 70's. The bathroom is still from the 80's and no water pressure for a decent shower. I would not stay here again.

The price is about average, the room was average, but the free full service breakfast and location are much better than average.
