My husband and I are leaving our trip to the desert early, this hotel is so bad. I’ve stayed in motels that offer tidier, more updated rooms. This hotel and the staff clearly need assistance from corporate. The staff in my experience are polite enough and communicative, but there are not nearly enough employees to manage these grounds. The lobby, fitness and bar all look quite nice, but the transition to the hallways and our room is like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The hallways are dark and ominous like something out of a horror movie. One can only suppose the hallways are kept so dark to disguise the state of the carpet and walls, which can’t be seen other than the lumpy shadows in the carpet. The room we stayed in (383) was an “upgrade, ” which is like some kind of sick joke. I understand there’s more square footage but aside from the clean linens on the bed, there isn’t much here. The furniture needs reupholstering. The mattresses and pillows clearly need to be replaced as there is hardly any support left in them. The bathrooms need renovating. The patios need renovating. The electrical outlets and charging stations need updating (our USB outlets didn’t work and plugs literally fall out of the bedside outlet). The towels had holes and there weren’t nearly enough. There was long hair still stuck to the wall of the shower. Also just noticing there’s hair all over the bathroom floor that’s definitely not mine! There is no safe. There is no small magnifying mirror.

The resort is very well kept and beautiful. The pool area is gorgeous with a hot tub and a cool tub. Covid has changed some amenities, ie. Pool bar service, limited and rotating restaurant/bar hours.

Other guests took our patio chair (plus, one chair was broken from when we got there), by sneaking into our patio with a fire pit (no earlier interaction with them). Requested the front desk to send us new chairs and we never got those. Our vacation is over and we wanted our time and money. The front desk was awful (they said yes and did nothing) but the security-wise, it’s just too scary. The hotel let the guests sneak into other room’s patio and think it’s okay.

Beautiful experience, I walked away from the desk leaving my wallet with $200 in credit cards and the young lady look at the surveillance camera as return my Louis Vuitton wallet❤️

Beautiful golf course next right next to the hotel. Good amenities. Clean and modern rooms. Nice pool. Room was not ready on time. Otherwise a wonderful experience.

Great views, 27 hole golf course, nice pool, multiple restaurants and lounge by the pool. Golf courses have a few nice lakes with surrounding mountain views are world class… only reason not 5 star is rooms are kind of basic. The suite was very large but seemed lacking in design and furniture.

This has been my favorite Hilton owned hotel we have stayed in awhile. The positives include the rooms the restaurant and the staff. The negative will be the pool and the cleanliness outside of the hotel. The pool area was disgusting it wasn't necessarily the hotels fault that guests and it wasn't cleaned up until the pool was about to close they were very short-staffed and it showed. There was trash all around the parking lot, and people smoking weed all around the hotel. I don't put that on the hotel. I will definitely be back but will choose a slower time instead of the first weekend of Summer to take my family.

The room was very clean and cozy. Room service prices were reasonable and the pool & Jacuzzi were well kept. The Golf grounds were immaculate. Service was great and the breakfast for a small extra fee was tasty. I'd stay there again.

Double Tree made my most recent trip to Cali quite enjoyable. Let's start with the welcome cookie. Yes, it was warm and delicious! Ok, confession time… I had one almost daily. I know, I know. It was a welcome perk but I couldn't help myself and the staff was very accommodating. My room had a pool and mountain view. Do you have any idea how nice it is to eat a scrumptious cookie and sip coffee on a balcony overlooking lush greens and beautiful mountains on a beautiful day? Magnificent! When we needed directions or recommendations, the staff was eager to assist and even printed out materials for us. The food in the hotel restaurant was tasty and filling. The cleaning staff always had a smile and got the room ready quickly so we could get back in bed after an early morning hike. I highly recommend this hotel as it made our Cathedral City stay amazing.

Great value and the Desert Princess is a really nice golf course. Hotel is right next door so you can just walk right over and play. Hotel itself is clean and well kept. Manager Moses is a real professional and knows how to treat his guests. We had a couple of minor issues and he got on them promptly to make sure our stay was perfect. Thanks Moses!

The room and view were amazing. Only a few minor issues, one the lounge chairs on my balcony were on top of one another due to heavy winds which wasn't the real issue but one of them had several missing screws that I found and put back in by hand. I think they should've checked the entire room balcony included before renting it out. Secondly, there was an issue with my billing of room rate and even when presented with my confirmation off billing through amex they still argued and requested that I send them a copy of the confirmation to review it. Other than that, I was very happy with my room and time there.

The good: The rooms are clean and the cookies are delicious. The bad: The coffee maker in the room was too gross to use. The employee at the front desk was working through a different guests issue while she was checking us in. Neither of us got adequate attention and it felt like she wouldn't let us check in a little early just so we would leave the counter more quickly. You will have a pleasant stay if you don't attempt to check in early and you speak to the staff minimally. Every time I spoke to an employee I got the impression I was an inconvenience for them.

Nice laid back hotel; great for families with small children. Pool area was very nice. We had a room with fire pit and pool/golf course view. Exceptionally clean and service was lovely.

Lovely hotel and location. The room was clean and the pool was great. Our bathroom was not cleaned. I left my belongings, went to the reception and showed the photo. I have never seen a person so quickly sweating) ) ) We were replaced with a superior room and added a free breakfast.

Excellent hotel, surrounded by a golf course. Large outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi. Excellent breakfast.

Great views from corner suite. Patio can hold at least 20 people. Rooms are clean. Service is great. Bar and restaurant have great options. Close to stores, entertainment and more. I enjoyed my three night stay. Thank you staff, at the Doubletree by Hilton, for making my stay great! Also, the recommendation to upgrade my room at a reasonable rate.

It's 3 stars because of the excellent kitchen and room service. Everything else is mediocre considering its a resort. Front desk know their jobs, but they could be more hospitable and friendlier with guests who have questions. The room itself was fine, but there was a dried up squashed spider on the ceiling where a bit came off and landed on the bed. Gross. Not sure why there was no body wash offered in their little bathroom kits. Some bathroom hooks and handles need to be added. The design isn't hotel efficient but its not terrible, in fact the room and bathroom are spacious so that's the plus side. However there were visible spill stains on the couch. I think maybe this is a perfect place if you have kids. Not sure I'd revisit.

This is one of the best hotels to stay at in the area. The room are great, always clean. The view of the golf course is the best around. The employees are all welcoming and very helpful. Close enough to all thing in the area. Downtown Palm Springs is only 10 minutes away.

Clean resort but poorly decorated and great location. It needs to be updated and renovated. I will say their fire pits on individual patios were a unique feature but dangerous if you have kids.

I stayed here for 5 nights while attending a conference for work. The view is beautiful and everything about the hotel itself is very high quality. The food at the restaurant was very good, and the workout area was spacious, clean, and had nice equipment. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Palm Springs.

Golf course was fantastic. Both hotel and golf course front desk need to work on making guests feel welcome. Guests with dogs could be more responsible or perhaps there are no manners required.

Well appointed property. The grounds are pleasing. The restaurant staff was most helpful with an order to go. Comfortable and contemporary rooms. Front desk staff was well informed. We will stay there again.

Truly an amazing Double tree property. I have stayed a many, and this place takes the cake. Lots of parking, wildlife galore, and phenomenal views. I didn't have a chance to enjoy all of the amenities as this was a business trip. I will certainly be back!

Stayed here in August of last year. Seemed like a beautiful hotel. We noticed a black bug in the bed and were told it was a black ladybug. The second day we came home I started getting an itchy rash all over my ankles and legs. Went to Urgent care and they thought it might be from being in the hot tub and bacteria building up with all the heat of the desert. We ended up with bedbugs at home. We had carried it home in our suitcases. When I called to advise them We were having skin rashes and it was me and my friend who stayed there and exactly same on both of us. We were treated so rude. They literally told me there were a couple guests who had already stayed in it after us and haven’t called and complained. They told me a manager would call me… never happened! I see another person posting about skin rashes after staying here as well! You’ve all been warned! Do not stay here!

Magnificent views, gorgeous hotel, huge and meticulously manicured swimming pool, two huge heated spas, outrageously large rooms, unbelievable breakfast buffet and all of that on a stunning, world class golf course. Fernando and his front desk manager, Toya, we're wonderful when we needed a little extra attention. We were thrilled with our one night stay on the way to California and decided to spend another night on the way back to Arizona. I have been around the world and as of this week this one is my favorite hotel…! :)

We are Hilton Honors members and are typically very fond of the brand. We have always been treated fairly till now. We arrived to two desk clerks ignoring us. 3 minutes later when they finally acknowledged us they said they had no room even though we had a confirmation number… and nothing more. We just stood there at 11pm with the prospect of not having a place for the night. Finally about 10min later they "upgraded" us to a dirty room with no bathtub. The hall was littered with uncollected breakfast trays and visible dirt in the corners. Then the final blow. Although we clicked the breakfast included option they would not honor it. Coffee is NOT included at this hotel. They told us "go across the street to Starbucks" Waiting to hear from Hilton Honors. Hopefully they will make it right. Just don't expect a clean property, coffee or breakfast. However, the view is lovely.

Reasonable DoubleTree with good service and a nice pool with a view. Get a room facing the pool unless you like road noise. The location is a bit far from Palm Springs strip, but its only a $12 uber ride to most any location on the strip. There are parking spots and doors near most rooms. There is a grocery store and pharmacy across the street. Clean rooms, good service, okay location. Good golf perks if you bring your clubs.

Would have been better if they had let our friend pay for our stay, giving us more money to spend with them. Instead I spent the visit (for a convention that took place there) distracted and stressed out about the bill. If the same event takes place next time, we pretty much won't have a choice but to stay there, but we will be wary. I'm just glad I was able to use the one microwave in the lobby to cook up some ramen that I brought with us. Would have been nice to order the high ticket items. Speaking of microwave, we were told one was "requested" by customer service. If you don't have any available on request, let them know. I do not like my simple expectations to be unmet.

Nice service & kindness but swimming pool has a serious problem. I had skin problem with itchy and burning after playing in the pool. I think that they put much of chemical inside the pool and never care of the pool for a long time. I still have skin problem. Damn it.

Can you say yummy cookies? The pool is a pretty good size. I wish it was larger, but it had all that was needed (pool side attendance, a bar, lounge chairs, umbrellas, towel service and water). The golf course is right on the property and you can play tennis, but you need to pay a fee.

Had a wonderful time at this desert Oasis. Our room had a great view of the pool and golf course. The pool was big and clean plus you are able to order food and drinks. I really enjoyed lounging by the pool. The chicken quesadilla was the best I've ever had. The cookies were divine as usual and there are several onsite amenities — bar, restaurant, little market, tennis courts, fire pit, games, golf course, tennis courts, pool, and spa. The spa prices were great but I think they need to renovate the spa as it appeared to be outdated and I didn't love that it was a little ways from the hotel and not easy to find. Overall I had a great stay and would definitely return.

Hotel is nice, not stuffy, not dumpy. Rooms are small but balconies are nice, spacious. Downside is they nickel & dime you with lots a small ancillary costs. No free coffee or water, unless you count that garbage in the room. Big let down. Of course the food is good but highly priced. The outside grounds and view are very beautiful so that helps. The free internet speed is very slow, so plan on $5 per day or being slightly agitated. I would consider again for a conference, but I'd try other places for pleasure stays.

Over all this is nice property with an amazing view. Rooms could be a bit more updated and nicer given the location, cost, and type of hotel. The bathroom left a bit to be desired, it was not dirty but it just didn't fit the higher end stature of the hotel. Instead of a standard resurfaced older bathtub that showed its age well, a nice modern glass enclosed shower with lighting would have been a nice touch to round out the in room amenities. I would also include a bottle opener / corkscrew, and a couple of wine glasses in the room with the ice bucket and tumblers. Amazing staff and guest service on all levels. Great food in the restaurant. Food and drinks were a bit on the pricey side. Amazing. View of the mountains and great access to golf courses. Excellent pool for the whole family and spa for the adults. Bar service is available poolside. Even has / had a volleyball court set up during my stay. Over all I would recommend this property to others and stay here again.

They remodeled this hotel recently and did a great job. Fantastic views of the mountain and sunsets, and conveniently located near the airport and downtown. The pool and bar are super fun, and the staff is very friendly. Also, there is a really good and reasonably priced golf course on the property that has 3 nine-hole courses.

Great location that is a little bit further from some attractions so it's price is reasonable. But it's still close enough to make it to downtown easily. The rooms are spacious and have great furnishings. The staff is friendly and the spa services offered are amazing. Definitely recommend!

This resort was awesome. The Corner Suite was extremely large with 1.5 bathrooms. The views were wonderful from the oversized, wraparound balcony. When we arrived the gentleman at the Hilton Honors check in desk assured us that he had personally taken care of our accommodations before we arrived for my birthday… He did a fabulous job! The service was excellent, I have found my new weekend getaway… I will definitely be returning soon!

One of the better hotels I have stayed at in the area. As a majority the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. Great views of the course. The cottage cheese ceilings bothered me though. The pool is a very good size and lots of staff on a Saturday.
