This is the worst Best Western I have ever stayed at.
I walked into the room of an overdosed smell of febreeze or something like that. Then there was no tissues as the box was empty. Had a shower and there was no shower gel. No soap.
But the best thing was when I went to get into my bed there was no bottom sheet. So the person at front desk and I made the bed.
I was asked if I enjoyed my stay when I checked out and told no. She apologized and said they would make an adjustment to the price. I said I would appreciate that. They also said they would mail my receipt. Nothing happened. No adjustments and no receipt.

Nice pool, spacious room.

Newly remodeled. Good price and within a couple of hours from the Bay Area. Lots of nearby gas stations and fast food. I think I saw a Dennys here too. Far enough off the freeway that there is no freeway noise. So far, so good. Will stop here again.

We booked last minute for the labor day holiday for an event close by. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The front desk staff person, Felicia, was super nice. The room was nice as well. I loved that instead of shampoo bottles they use dispensers. Nice pool too. Good to know there is a nice place to stay on the 5.

I stay here for about 2&1/2 months a year for tomato season & I can't say enough good things about the staff. They have treated me like family since the first time I stayed there. They are very accommodating & friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable & the grounds are well kept. I recommend this place to anyone! Thank you Sharon & all the ladies for putting up with me and my Goofy schedule all these years. And thank you Alex for keeping everything running smoothly for me. You people are the best!

I have been staying here many times over the years due to a project nearby. Rooms are clean, staff are courteous and helpful. The lobby is under renovation now, but in the past the free breakfast was decent. My only complaint is that they did not refill the shampoo/soap box in my last two stays here. Also, limited food options in the area (only McD, subway, and a burger place). Have to go to Los Banos for better food options.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Very clean and new looking rooms were large and comfortable. At the price point we were expecting a lesser experience. Lobby was under construction but they were making due and still made us feel welcomed and offered a continental breakfast. Pool was clean and refreshing after a long day of driving. Would definitely stay here again if needed.

I'm sad to say this place had a tremendous amount of cockroaches in the parking lot. We were squishing them as soon as we got out of the car. It was in a rural location so we let it slide… Then we went into our room. There was a small one, dead by the toilet, but the ones in the bed ruined my night. I've stayed here before and it was lovely. It was sad to see the hotel in this state, as well as the restaurant closed.

My newly renovated room had newer furniture, however the bathroom was in need of some work. The bottom of the tub had rust where it meets the floor, old toilet, and old door. I only stayed because there was nothing better in the area and I was too tired to keep driving.

Very relaxing and quiet place. The hotel receptionist waived my dog fees when I told her that they never mess on the floors because I walk them regularly. Nice people and nice place.

It was well priced, bout 115$ on memorial day weekend with no reservation. I loved the room. Nice bed, nice shower, fridge, all the laundry stuff. My only complaint is the heavy curtains only framed the window so I had light curtains and got blinded in the morning. Otherwise great stay.

This place is so creepy! I called the front desk about being so itchy and they were very rude. The next day I woke up to many red spots all over me. Bed bugs and a very distasteful smell I find very disturbing. The staff are very friendly until you ask for something. I had to contact the sheriff's department because my daughter found a camera that led to the restroom. Be aware folks.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable, but the price is high ($100 DLLs) by being alone in passing as there is nothing more to see.

Great customer service, friendly staff, very clean rooms and pet friendly. My visit was during a remodel so the breakfast area wasn't completely open but considering the circumstances it was decent. I would definitely stay again (interested in the completed remodeled project).

Very clean accommodation with super friendly staff. They even had parking for my R. V. In plain view of my room. As others had stated, only fast food restaurants close by, but we were here only one night so it was no problem. They also have a very good breakfast in the lobby. I would return if we are in need of a hotel room while driving up or down I-5.

This was far superior to what I ever would have expected for the price. The rooms were clean and well decorated. The amenities were totally adequate. The one drawback is that there is nothing to eat nearby other than fast food. This is certainly above average for the price and the area, but eat before you get here.

I came upon this hotel by accident and was surprised to find it almost completely booked. Now I see why; every member of the staff are friendly and professional and go the extra mile to make me feel at home. The amenities are also great for a hotel of this size; high-speed internet and, (when the lobby is not under renovation as it is currently), a hot breakfast. The laundry machines come in handy too. Everything works! I never have a problem with the fridge, microwave, ice machine or TV as I have experienced at some other hotels. They are quick to give me an extra blanket or anything I need during my stays. I love the staff and would never stay anywhere else on highway 5.

My husband and I just left and this place was fantastic. Staff was extremely friendly and made good conversation. For $90 a night I would stay here. I thought it was just going to be another average motel that you find upon this freeway a lot, but it was great and very clean! They were going through a renovation, but worked around it and we honestly didn't mind not having hot breakfast because we usually just have a cup of coffee and yogurt anyways! I would reccomend this motel to anyone coming through this way! Also, the furniture and room look very nice.

Surprisingly nice! I figured this would just be another run of the mill truck stop hotel. I was quite wrong! The rooms were well laid out, fine amenities and very comfortable beds. I didn't eat the breakfast, but I understand it was very minimal, just muffins etc. The only draw back is there is really nothing good to eat around. This isn't really the hotel's fault, but detracts none the less. If you're just looking to stop for the night, you could do a LOT worse in this corridor. But get something to eat first.

It maybe under construction but it was a great experience! It was very clean and comfortable! The only issue was the person above sounded like a herd of elephants the whole time! We highly recommend this motel and we will be back!

Great place to stop and get rested while traveling. The staff are wonderful folks that genuinely care about your satisfaction of your stay there. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Even though there were lobby renovations going on and Reception was located in a temporary construction trailer the staff was very accomodating and did a very good job of setting up the breakfast in the little space that they had. I would definitely stay there again if I am traveling in the area. One thing that impressed me was the night receptionist noticed I had a limp — dealing with a broken toe. She set us up in a handicap room so that it would be easier for me in using the restroom accommodations. Very nice!

Great bed, great shower and wonderful people. That makes for a great hotel experience. The lobby is under construction but that was announced to us before the reservation was made. Even without a lobby, the check-in/out process was quick and efficient.

A pleasant place to stay while visiting the Panoche and Tumey Hills. The nearby fields and orchards smell wonderful in the morning, with birds going about their business. The rooms are clean, comfortable and functional. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

Great location for access to BLM land. Always a pleasure to stay here. Rooms are unexpectedly nice. Looking forward to lobby remodel!

After driving all day really nice and comfortable place to stay. Easy on and off of freeway. No sit down restaurant or would have given 5 stars … highly recommend place though.

Recent remodel is nice and we found this to be a fair and comfortable stop along the wagon trail called I-5. Staff are super friendly. Thanks.

They had ridiculous prices and the cleaning was terrible. Breakfast very bad!

Good hotel in a good location for a nights stop. Would have given it a 5 star but I save those for the likes of a Hilton or Swiss Hotel. Good value hotel.

The inn was clean and recently remodeled. Everything in the room was fresh and new. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The location is in the middle of the farm country and is quite isolated. So there is not much dinner selection. The price was great!

Ok place to stay. Clean rooms good breakfast. The staff we dealt with were all friendly and accommodating. Pet friendly.

The rooms were clean, and the site is quiet. The breakfast was also good. If you have to work in this region, this is the best place to stay.

Location is in the middle of nowhere so it served as a nice bathroom break. Nothing special or particularly nice about this place and I didn't want to stay around long.

Great service! Was given a new room when the ac in the room I had was non functional. Breakfast was great! However new room had a ac that hardly worked, no soap, and a non working ice machine. Only 20 local TV channels. Only hotel in it's location so it gets away with it. Bed and mattress was clean and comfortable, worth staying in. Just not close to the quality of some other best westerns.

Place to stop if you go in passing. Very careful and clean, it is perfect considering it is to rest a little, give you a bath and sleep.
To be very small, it has 4 or 5 fast food restaurants, 2 gas stations and a supermarket.

Staff is very courteous and helpful and the rooms are clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. TV fare is modest, with major networks plus CNN and PBS, a handful more. Breakfast offers a good assortment, and the juice is not watered down. For some reason, in the last hour of breakfast, the warm items were cool. My big complaint, though, was that the heavier window curtains did not completely close over the sheer ones. I reported this needs to change. If they fix that, it is a good place to stop, and reasonable, with no extra local charges.

Comfortable and consistent with our need as we went for San Francisco Pass.

Loved it! Nice upgraded rooms, wired internet, comfy bed, good a/c and plenty of electrical plugs for all my devices. Also great breakfast. The front desk staff were Awesome! Will return again some day. Thanks!

After working outdoors in the area, rather hot, and having little sleep the night before, the staff was able to allow me to check-in early. I spent two nights there on this trip and continue to be impressed with the courtesy and professionalism of the staff. As this is the only hotel in the area, one would not expect such attention to detail, a captive market. However, the staff has gone the opposite direction and are quite good at customer relations. A great place to stay right off Interstate 5. Not a destination resort, the hotel does what it intends to do as a business model very well.

Nice, clean place. Needs to add a gym, but has a great pool!

So happy to see the Best Western out on a stormy dark and raining night. Had a very nice spacious and clean room with a delicious contention breakfast.

Talk about a port in a storm! We were so happy to find it out in the middle of nowhere on a dark and stormy night. The name Best Western conjures images of clean and consistent if not fancy. Sort of a Dennys of the motel world.
