I called to ask about availability and rates and the guy at the desk could not have been more unpleasant without being downright rude. Also, on this website, the amenities for this hotel include free breakfast, but they do not have a breakfast at all.

I visited some friends who lodged here for a couple nights who had no complaints and seemed quite satisfied with the accomodations. From what I saw personally the rooms were well kept, and the atmisphere was quiet and laid back. If given the choice or reason I would stay here comfortably for a nights visit or two.

I wasn't here for a long stay, but my time here was perfectly fine.

The rooms were really nice, clean and pretty big. They came with a blow-dryer and fridge so I was pretty impressed espically considering the price. The staff was very friendly, and accomidating.

The negative reviews about the management, specifically the manager who is highly confrontational with guests, are all very accurate. I would definitely suggest staying anywhere else in Bakersfield but here. I recently booked a 7-day reservation through Hotwire to stay here. This transaction was non-refundable because it was an "express deal, " but I've never had any issues with them in numerous stays at different hotels before… till we came here. The owner demanded to see how much I paid for the reservation before I had even pulled out my ID. He then scoffed at the rate when he saw it. He was clearly not happy at the rate we had found. He then informed me it would be an additional $105 for a 2 bedroom and proceeded to argue with me about the name not matching on a debit card for something that had already been paid for. I ended up leaving after being told it would be an additional $130 to check-in. All this stuff was in the reviews by the way. I went down to the Days Inn on Real road where they have been wonderful and it was half the price too. Just a few suggestions to management: don't advertise on discount travel sites if you don't like the rates they offer. Also, it wouldn't hurt to smile when your guests first walk-in.

Reasonable price honest comfortable beds clean.

Got here on friday until monday and had bad room the bathroom ugly and didnt have no room service at all never again would I stay here for as much as I got charged disappointed.

The customer service was horrible! The room was dirty. My heater didn't work.

The guy at the front desk was an ass but the room was bigger than expected. Small fridge and an old microwave. The remote didn't work. But comfy bed and nice shower.

Very friendly and considerate! The room was simple and clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Great value.

This motel is close to the 99 freeway with easy access. Bakersfield Unn & Suites is popular with tbe locals and I wouldn't recommend to travels because they have long term tenants in rooms that were never intended for long term. This creates traffic all thru tbe night so if ur looking for quiet, this might not be the place. Their are better alternitives in the immediate area.

This place doesn't deserve a star. Owner there, Indian was super rude. Doesn't have any manners and I had reservation and charged me $20.00 bc the check-in was at 3pm. It was Like over 100 degrees and it was around 11am. No way I was gonna be outside in the hear. Like ok I get it but very rude to tell me. He seem in a very bad mood. He was talking to his wife in their Indian/Hindu language. Like ik you guys were talking about me, you can just tell. Room smelled terrible, for non smoking. Never again, will I stay there. Poor customer service, filthy and smelly. He needs to treat his customers way better with respect and more sanitize those rooms deep cleaning. Idk why that hotel/motel is still there.

It's a nice place. Close to a laundry mat an shopping centers (fallas, Sally's) but as of the owners there kind of rude.

This Hotel is a lil out dated. The room is large and I love the couch in the room. The refrigerator and microwave are completly outdated and were not clean. This hotel has some great potential to be a really awesome place to stay when in bakersfield.

Filthy ass rooms! Should of known better, it's Bako! Asked for a partial refund because of the condition of the room but the Indian/Hispanic clerk said no. Did even give a hooot. If your just using the room to bang a hooker than these rooms are for you!

Check in was ok. We get to our room and there was only two towels, we had two adult females and a toddler. I went back for three more towels. The owner (? ) tried to only give me just one. I finally got him to get me three. They were the tiniest towels ever! First night was interesting. People were yelling outside enough to scare us. We got up and walked to Starbucks (the only good thing about the motel was it was within walking distance of a couple things) for breakfast and then decided to go to the pool. It was locked after 9 am when it said it would be open, not a huge deal there just and oversite. We did stuff during the day and when we got back we found a COCKROACH! My mom took it to the front desk and he proceeded to tell her that they were in all the hotels down here. (There's at least a 1" gap between the ground and the bottom of the door within the frame). Check out went ok also, he asked how was the stay and I said besides the bug it was ok. He tried giving me a song and dance about the bugs he gave my mom. Also the Wi-Fi was terrible, couldn't use it for anything. stay here at your own risk! bugs and semirude staff. (The made was really nice, my baby gave her flowers. )

The Inn is comfortable and the rooms are very spacious. It looks old but for the night and no more to sleep this very well.

They have cleaned up alot of the druggies and rude workers that used to work here all got fired. The place has improved alot! Much more safe, cleaner rooms, and if something is wrong in your room now they have a technician on site who fixes everything. I would recommend it. Only thing that needs improvement is the tv, has alot of static, channels go in an out besides that all is great!

I really wish I can give negative stars. Paid for 7 days. 4 hrs in and we decided this place is horrible and disgusting. And the manager refused a refund now we are stuck here. Please don't waste your money Go anywhere else This place should be shut down.

Friendly desk attendant and generally a full-featured hotel, but it was very loud all night and the plumbing was odd — there seemed to only be hot water.

Worst hotel ever. So many bed bugs in the the bed alongside with pincher bugs. Had to switch hotels after the two horrible hours of sleep. Manager was uncooperative and did not help at all. Very mean front desk man. Do not book a night here.

The manager was doing meth when I checked out and he didn't care then he said alot of racial slurs.

The place is convenantly located to food. However the staff seemed very concerned about theft. It made me think I wasn't in a safe part of town.

I really do enjoy the size of the rooms. They have plenty of space for large families, and plenty of walking room inside of the rooms. My only problem with them is that its so close to the freeway there is constant traffic noise! however if you need space so as not to feel so closed in, and a great price, then this is the place to be!

This has to be one of the worse places in Bakersfield… it has bed bugs and drug addicts that permantley live at the hotel… the manager knows this but looks the other way… horrible… horrible place I hope they are raided and shut down soon…

Very nasty no hot water and they have bugs and roaches and very rude never a 25$ deposit is not worth it please dont do it.

This hotel is nastyyy! the rooms are hot and there were little bugs crawling around the bath tub and floor. Their customer service is also bad, they barely speak english and are very very rude. I don't recommend this trashy hotel to anyone. Put them out of business! its ridiculous.

No hot water, no internet in the rooms. This was information known at the time of arrival but not stated to me until after I had the room. When I brought this up, the staff was rude at best. I booked through expedia. They were no help either.

I like are very friendly and the room clean.

This place isn't even worth driving into we are now ib the third room check the mattresses disgusting 3ed room not much better than the others filthy filthy Filthy too tired to go on will TRY to sleep but onTO of the bed no shore or anything leaving As early as possible husband in serious trouble on this one! I trust think I will call the health department. Nothing good to say about it.

This room looks like it hasn't been cleaned in 20 years! There's large gaping holes on the sofa, 2 of the 3 lamps don't work, and the towels are about as thick as a paper towel. There are even stains on the lamp shades!. The only positive is the free Wi-Fi, and that's it.

Ive been here twice, the first time I went in to the front desk to get a room, and waited 5-10 minutes while the receptionist took what seemed to be a non professional call. As soon as I started to walk out she then started to help me. The second time I went, we got a suite. That had a few DEAD cockroaches in it. : (.

Room was dirty and thouroughly worn down there was no hot water in the morning for a shower. When I had to look up the hotel in the phonebook because the phone didn't work to complain about the water the manager proceeds to yell at us. The worst hotel I have stayed at in a long time.
