I have stayed at three of these in various parts of the country over the past few months. All have been excellent! This one was also very reasonable.

Very disappointed in this hotel. There is absolutely no way the pool is safe to swim in yet the staff doesn’t seem to care. The pool is so cloudy you can’t see your feet and there is algae growing all over the walls of the pool. I told the staff at the front desk and he said they were aware and that it was safe to swim in. The hallways smell like weed and the rooms had a gross smell as well but were clean. The breakfast was ok would just recommend to have two waffle makers instead of one had to wait 15 min in line to make my kids a waffle. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Durty pool no light over sink. Did not do baymonts reputation. Stayed there bc it was under baymonts name. Was very disappointed Will not stay again.

Everything seemed alright nice big parking lot. The first room I got looked like they where working on it. So I had to get another room. The staff here are nice and friendly.

Nothing bad can really be said about this place. Clean, quiet and a great place to end your day. Relax!

Great place to stay. Very friendly staff. I've had no problems here. I've stayed here for a total of like 2 weeks approximately. The breakfast in the morning is great!

It seemed like a nice hotel online but once I arrived I found out that the entire place smelled like weed, the beds are so extremely uncomfortable I wish I was somewhere else, it’s hard as a rock. Also, I requested a crib 2 hours before my arrival and it still took an hour after I arrived to get the crib. My 5 month old son had already fallen asleep on the floor by then. I would not stay here again. I don’t understand how this is a 3 star hotel. I am absolutely miserable. Also, the doors slam! The lady at the front desk was very nice!

Was a great place to kick back after driving 13 hours. Employees are very professional and friendly. Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay.

Everything was very clean! Comfortable bed, nice furniture, and pet friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

I came in late, stressed out, and frustrated after driving. The man behind the counter, I believe his name was Jacob (? ), was kind and professional and I appreciate his patience. He was under the impression that the pet fee was $25/pet. As of this posting, the pet fee is advertised as $15/pet which is the main reason I chose this hotel over the one across the interstate. I mentioned this and he gave me the advertised rate. The room was clean and smelled pleasant and the hot water gets hot and stays hot! It was so nice. The breakfast is good. If you aren't into hotel breakfasts, there is a Denny's practically right next door. My only complaints are frivolous and have no bearing on the quality of this hotel: the TV was on when I opened the door to my room so that made me very nervous until I made sure the room was empty (while the door was propped open). I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean rooms and nice beds. The only thing was that they forgot to clean out the fridge and when I opened it there was a soda in a cup that spilled all over. Other than that the place was great and the guy that checked us in was very nice and friendly.

Update: We booked here well in advance, then we find out a week prior that they had cancelled our reservation. This is the last time we book with Wyndham or any of it's affilates. Old review: We stayed here when the Wyndham across the street informed us they cancelled our reservation as soon as we got there. It was okay. Room was clean although damp. Didn't smell moldy though. Parking lot was pretty bright so chance of robbery is low (and it's not a nice area). The water is disgusting here (smells like mildew — don't drink it). No freezer in fridge. They have cable. Continental breakfast was not good. They had some crappy bagels and pastries, cereal, boiled eggs, and a waffle maker — no yogurt or granola or anything worth eating.

I highly recommend staying at the Baymont Inn. Staff was friendly and made the stay very relaxing. The rooms were clean and housekeeping was top-notch. We didn't have any issues with Wi-Fi or unfriendly staff at all as others have mentioned. Loved our stay!

I would recommend staying here. My experience with this hotel was great. Comfortable and relaxed from check in to check out, which is what I expect when I am on vacation. I wish I was able to stay longer. Big plus was the breakfast. I am a really picky eater and I loved their options, didn't feel like I needed to look elsewhere for the 3 days I stayed here. Rooms and hotel overall is very clean.

Nice comfortable bed. TV worked well but channel selection was limited a little too much. Bathroom and towels could have been cleaner. Breakfast area was nice but at 6:30 a. M. On a Sunday morning all the tables were dirty. It didn't appear that they would be cleaned anytime soon. I have stayed here before and overall cleanliness was better. Hopefully this time was just a fluke. I would recommend staying here.

Stayed in this hotel very briefly. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bathroom was pretty small but was clean. The shower portion of the tub didn't work. Breakfast was served at 5 am, which was awesome. Overall the hotel was pretty good.

WONDERFUL place to stay away from home. Warm and friendly employees. Very nice and clean rooms. Fresh cookies daily. Awesome. Thanks for the hospitality.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean but smelled of smoke. It seems as though the hotel recently converted to 100% non-smoking but the smoke smell still lingers. Breakfast was on the lighter side… no hot items except toast and waffles. Overall it was fine and a good value for the money. Would have been better if it hadn't smelled like smoke.

You average lower cost LQ. However, the first room we were given had an odd smell that made my husbands nose run and my dogs to sneeze. When I asked about another room the desk clerk looked at me like I asked her to upgrade to a king deluxe suite. Then she asked how long we had been in the room as though somehow that mattered. When I told we had arrived within the past 45 mins or so she turned to her computer and announced "Oh, your paying with points. Huh? " As though it somehow made me a charity case. I said that yes I was and I needed a clean room, paused and added the word NOW. She did finally put us in another room. But I thought the whole encounter odd for an LQ.

Decent rooms, decent breakfast. Kinda dirty. Woman at desk wasn't listening very well. The outside smelled like a latrine from boy scout camp.

We stop here every time we drive from Texas to Illinois. The king room with couch is great for our family of three humans plus two cats. My only real complaint is that the breakfast buffet needs some protein other than boiled eggs.

Rooms were not worth the price. My room was dirty and not well maintained. Also forgot my phone charger in the room and when I returned to retrieve it the cleaning lady handed me a phone charger that was clearly not mine. I'm sure she picked the charger. There's alot cheaper rooms in the area that you can feel safe and clean.

I was able to get a room here on a Saturday night for $57. I usually stay at La Quinta while on the road because they allow pets to stay for free. The rooms were clean, and the provided breakfast was the standard La Quinta fare: waffles, bagels, cereal, yogurt, etc. The bathroom off of the lobby was pretty disgusting.

We're having an awesome stay! My husband works for the railroad and we have stayed in some pretty interesting places, to say the least. I only have reviews to go on when I book and some of them have been misleading. This was not the case during this stay. This hotel went above and beyond to meet our expectations. I even requested a very early check in (6AM) and to be on the 1st floor close to an exit (our pet doesn't like stairs or elevators — lol) and they were happy to accommodate both requests. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were spotless. We are staying a week and the room service has been awesome. We have a mini pig and she is in the middle of blowing her coat, so they vacuumed daily, and after the 3rd day they changed our sheets. The pool could have been a little cleaner, but it was still nice on a hot Texas day! :). The continental breakfast was good as well. I really can't say enough nice things. I'll be looking for more La Quintas in the future.

The room was decent for the price, the lady at the front desk was nice and the breakfast was pretty good. The air conditioner blows cold but not ice cold. There was a microwave and mini fridge in our room. It smells like a smoking hotel but we only needed to stay for 1 night. So it's not the best place to stay long term but it's a great place to stay for a night or two.

I am on day 2 of traveling and I was at a Motel 6 the night prior. Let me tell you the extra $30 is beyond worth it. The room is cozy, the hotel personnel are welcoming, and the hotel is truly pet friendly! Haven't tried breakfast yet but trust me if it's included, I already love it.

Hotel staff and desk personnel are very polite and accommodating. Rooms are quiet and well insulated. The hotel is close to the interstate, yet you don't hear any sound from the highway. On site laundry and plenty of parking as well as clean, well appointed rooms make this a very enjoyable hotel to stay in. The best part for me is they are truly pet friendly. I travel frequently and look forward to my trips to Texarkana in great part due to this hotel.

Recently stay there. I had a do not disturb sign on my door when I left house keeping still when in my room and thru away my shower shoes bag near my bed and management claims it didn. T happen. What a flat out lie.

We used this hotel for our family reunion in July 2012. The whole process was easy, from setting up our block of rooms, through check-in and out. Our rooms were clean and beds comfortable. We only had one small problem (our room was a double instead of king) which was corrected the next day. We found the morning breakfast offered a good variety of foods from cereal (hot and cold) and yogurt to hot waffles, fresh fruit, and pastries. Some chose to breakfast at Denny's which is right next door. Between scheduled activities around the area, we enjoyed visiting and sharing pictures in the lobby area. The kids enjoyed the pool while we enjoyed sitting outside. The pool was clean and there were plenty of chairs available. I did not have a single complaint from any of our family members. We are going back in July (2013). I recently stayed there (May 9th) with a childhood friend to visit and catch up. Our room was a double and once again very comfortable and clean. We were not bothered by road noise off I-30 either time. I would not hesitate to recommend this Arkansas side hotel.

The receptionist and the manager that works in the evening are rude. Poor hospitality I would never pay to stay at this place again as long as they work here.

Perhaps I should be thankful to this hotel for it once and for all has prompted me to remove La Quinta from my travel repertoire as the quality and accommodations vary widely like the weather in Texas. How this facility passes itself off as a "2 star" is beyond me. I did a bid for a 3 star in town and finally settled for a 2 star. Mind you, I am not picky. Rather, when I am paying $70+ I expect something more than this location can provide. The location is convenient to I30 and you know it. Lots of highway noise. Upon arriving, I waited for a few minutes in the lobby with another guest to register. When she finally came back I was greeted with a curt "Help you? " in a tone indicating I was an inconvenience to her. Outside access rooms are passe' and I had to enter the lobby, climb a flight of stairs, exit to get to my room. Inside, the door has a large gap of stripping missing allowing light under the door. The bathroom is tiny, reminiscent of a submarine. The light in the bath took 5 minutes to turn on. Hot water was in short supply. The iron stuck to my clothing making ironing very difficult. The pool area is cordoned off by the buildings of the hotel and result in a stifling sauna like experience. Don't go down there unless you are wanting to swim. And when they say breakfast ends at 9:00 they mean it. 9:05 there was some dry cereal out and that was about it which is fine with me. Their breakfasts are lacking much for me.
