Our stay here has been absolutely wonderful, the accommodations are nice and the service outstanding. It’s a very beautiful old hotel, unfortunately a bit run down in places but full of vintage charm. I will say that the ghost tour is very overpriced ($50 per couple, I sprung for it bcs Id always wanted to go). Perhaps we had a bad guide but it was quite dull and very boring and the morgue “preserved as a museum” is just a dingy old basement with a DVD player where they show you a 2 min clip from a 2005 ghost hunters episode. Other than that let down, it has been a great visit and I highly recommend staying here!

My favorite place to sneak off to for a relaxing escape. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious, it is so laid back and the ghost tour guides do such a great job. Their cat Jasper is by far my favorite part of the hotel!

Was just there and will highly recommended the pizza Is wondedful and there isn't an extra 18%gratuity. The bartender Danielle knows what she is doing and has worked there for a long time! We will be back on our anniversary!

Amazing place to visit! Great staff!

Staff was rude (refused to break a $20 bill when they have an atm machine for the vending machines). Gift shop lady was stuck up and disrespectful (told us she didn’t know what the other workers did when she wasn’t around and had no idea if something we asked for was in stock). Evening shift pizza parlor workers were either drunk or hopped up on drugs (kept going into a closet and coming out “yee-haw”ing very loudly. Waited 40 minutes for a slice of cheesecake and brownie that never came). The pool was closed with no explanation in the middle of July. Faucet in bathroom wouldn’t stop running. Lightbulb in bathroom was broken. Blanket on bed was dirty. Didn’t look like the carpet had been vacuumed in a few days. Breakfast staff was sweet and breakfast was good. My review is based on the fact that we’ve stayed here 3 times and my sister got married here and it used to be so much better. This place has gone DOWNHILL!

The history of the hotel, ghost tour and shared paranormal experiences were great. The accommodations and staff were not. Our FIRST room was filthy—thick dust on everything and next to the noisy bar/lounge. We were moved to another room, however, not a better or cleaner room. The bathroom smelled so bad of mildew even after heavily spraying with Lysol. I don’t believe the shower curtain had been washed since the hotel opened in 1886. There was no water pressure in the shower so I couldn’t wash my hair and the hot water knob was backwards to operate and difficult to shut off. Many guests brought their pets and the rooms definitely smelled like it. Most of the hotel staff were not nice and seemed indifferent to guest needs. Don’t be fooled by the pictures and videos of the hotel. What you see is not what you get!

Beautiful old hotel with a fantastic staff. The breakfast buffets on the weekends are totally worth the price.

We had a blast on the ghost tour! Staff was very helpful and knew all the history of the hotel. Lots of fun!

This place is amazing, but can be a little loud with large groups for wedding, even late into night. Nicely landscaped and laid out. Our room and verandah were spacious and keeping with historic colors, etc.

They emailed us about $99 rooms, we booked, then they called us at home to tell say unless we were part of a conference, it would be over $300… I call that false advertising, they said nothing in the email about having to go to a conference. I guess from now on we will find somewhere non-affiliated with them to stay.

We recently Stayed at the Crescent Hotel on 10/28/18 in room 328. When my daughter called she was told it was a discounted room. I didn't know $235.00 (total) a night was discounted. The floors were uneven. (It's an old hotel, I get it). When we arrive to walk in, at first glance the room is beautiful. Further looking, one of the pillow cases had some woman's make up on it. One of the young ladies cleaning on the floor near us gave us new pillow case. Later, same bed, found a long grey hair in our sheets. (I have long brown hair, My daughter has short blonde hair). Which lead me to believe the sheets may have not been changed.
The armoire holding the T. V. Had to be propped open with the bathroom door because it wouldn't stay open for viewing. The shower water was warm to the touch out of the faucet. But, when the shower came on it cold water only.
We ate breakfast at the Crescent and it was delicious. Our waiter was Sven. He was quite comical and very personable. Your food and hotel will keep people coming back.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to have stayed here, but to be honest I wouldn't do it again.
P. S. I got the snot scared out of me. I looked out our window and it looked like a person with a skeleton face was on the roof. After further investigation it was a tan owl.

This place was amazing. I mean amazing. The staff and customer service is like none I have seen. The history behind this place is truly worth looking into. Fun family trip for the little ones or the eye rolling teens. They are working on the hotel and doing some updates but it is not noisy and truly relaxing.

Absolutely love this place! Beautiful old hotel! They decorated the rooms to look like the time period of when the hotel originally was opened. They have a few restaurants, a pool, an ice cream shop, a day spa, ghost tours, and a gift shop. The day spa has the most amazing massages. The best massages I’ve ever had is at their spa. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. This place is haunted so if you don’t mind the ghosts then stay here. They’ve never bothered us.

We stayed in the Treetop Cottage administered by the hotel. We checked in easily and a bellhop took us to the cottage. We were a part of the hotel and could use all the amenities. The cottage was spacious and airy. It was contemporary and very clean. The bed and bedding were premium quality and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the wrap around deck and sipping on coffee up in the tree tops. We enjoyed visiting the hotel and loved the location. Secluded yet everything we needed was a phone call or a short walk away. We also enjoyed the free shuttle into town. Especially the return shuttle up hill all the way. After big meals the trails offered great exercise. The terrace was also a great place to visit for the pizza and the view.

This is one of our favorite places to stop when we come through Eureka Springs. Even if you aren't planning to stay the night here, make the time to wander through this old, supposedly haunted hotel. Head to the top floor for a stunning view of the mountains and the Jesus statue across town at the Passion Play. You can also grab a drink and some pizza at the sky bar while you're there. On the lobby floor you'll find a tiny pet door that allows a couple cats that call the Crescent home to roam freely.

We were traveling & sightseeing. The Crescent is a GORGEOUS place in an incredibly beautiful setting. The entire place was sparkling clean. Many incredible antiques & a plethora of historical information at every turn. My dad has advanced stage Parkinson's & each staff member was extremely accommodating & kind, knowing we were not even paying guests, but there only to look around & take pictures. It is definitely a gem well worth going out of your way to experience.

I absolutely love this hotel. I have stayed here numerous times and have never been disappointed. It is such a unique place. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable, the employees are friendly and helpful, and the history is fascinating. In my various stays, I have enjoyed both restaurants, the ghost tour, and the spa, and love them all. Jaspur the hotel cat is the perfect extra touch, as well. Coming to the Crescent will always be a treat, and I look forward to returning again in future.

The staff was really great, pool and games at the pool was nice. However, DO NOT stay here when they are having a wedding reception. It lasted til after midnight. The music was shaking our windows (which had a window u it in it so it was loud and hot)! NO sleep in a place you are suppose to sleep sucks! The supervisor said there was nothing he could do but apologize and give us some of our money back (which I appreciated) but I would have preferred being actually able to sleep. For the price, definitely not worth it!

Stayed in Room 319. Room was clean and food was fantastic. The employees were all kind and the stay was pleasant (aside from any expected paranormal happenings! ) The pizza from the sky bar was great. The ghost tour was fascinating and eerie. I would highly recommend the experience at the crescent hotel to any body who cares to risk a night in a haunted hotel such as this one.

A once beautiful place. Excellent staff. Very pricey considering the quality of the room. We were on the 4th floor with a window air conditioning unit. Trust me when I tell you it was HOT! Beautiful views and it is different staying in a "haunted" hotel. Don't know I would stay there again… unless they do a major remodel!

Went for their Haunted tour at 10 pm. The overall tour was great and informative. Tour guide was really nice and explained everything really well! Only wish I could've spent the night there, but I'll save that for next time I guess! We did experience a little fright after the tour. In the picture below the little chute in the wall opened out on its own as we walked towards it. There was barely any air blowing in the shoot that could've opened it and the floor boards didn't move enough to cause its movement either. Little spooky but overall super cool!

I give the Hotel itself a 5! However, I made a special 45 min trip to eat pizza on the 4th floor.
I would suggest closing the restaurant for a day (or two) and give that place a “deep” clean! The more I looked around at crumbs in the booth (looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while! ) and the nasty hand pints all over the windows and walls and sticky tables I, wanted to cancel my order and leave! Not to mention one of the workers went up to the bar, started coughing then walked to the back where the food was, continues to cough without placing his hand over his mouth! I seen another worker there that open the side door walking into the kitchen “touching” the food without washing his hands. After touching the food he turns and walks back out the door. Do you realize the “nasty germs” that are one the door knobs. Another question is. Why is everyone walking back by to the food area without “hair nets”? When our pizza came out, the bottom was burnt and the salad that we ordered was “room temperature”! I’m disappointed because I loved that place!

I love the fact that you can tour this building at any time. They encourage you to roam around at free. The building is so full of history and stories. It's also cool to be able to see it on the hill from afar when you're at the Christ of the Ozarks or one of the towers. I love hearing the locals stories too. They say you can sometimes hear screaming from the Cresent rolling through the hills. The building still holds a lot of it's originality also.

The hotel is amazing and the history is so rich. It's definitely worth a visit. The ghost tour was are right I guess it depends on the guide that you have, but I don't know that it's worth the money (ask for discount at front desk). The sky pizza bar and lounge is great just make sure you order extra sauce and extra cheese or go with one of the specialties. There are no frozen drinks as sometimes it gets very very hot so dress lightly.

We had a room with a balcony. The room was very nice and the bed was really comfortable. We did the ghost tour and had a great time. We had breakfast there the next morning and it was very good. There's a lot of really interesting history there. We had a great time and I highly recommend it.

My family and I just popped in to look around. A brunch was going on at the time; one that looked rather appetizing. I myself have never spent the night there, but various family has. It is a great place to spend the night and an even better one if you're a fan of ghost tales.

Wonderful scenery, this place is a part of history and worth just to stop by to take a look. The staff are very friendly, and helpful. The restrooms are clean and the location is perfect when visiting Eureka Springs. The outdoor patio and spa areas are a sight along with the entire surrounding area. However, a stay could cost you a bit more than your budget. So plan wisely.

Cottages highly recommended! Me and my girlfriend stayed during the first part of February for her birthday in the grotto cottage, highly recommended best value for your money private deck, hot tub, and a fireplace cottage itself is two stories with sleeping areas up stairs and downstairs as well as bathrooms/showers on both floors and Netflix and a very nice kitchen area. The weather was chilly so we chose to stay in most of the time. Cheaper than staying in the actual hotel but right next door, ghost tour was also very interesting. The AC was not working properly but it was not big deal slept with the ceiling fans on instead. When I mentioned the issue they refunded me 20 percent of my money. Will certainly be returning!

One of the best spots in Eureka Springs. Unfortunately we could not stay at the hotel, if they have chance spend the night on the spot. There are tours and more things. The place is an architectural jewel with a dark past. We ate on the terrace with a beautiful view of Eureka Springs. The gourmet pizza was delicious. A point that you can not miss on a visit to this magical village.

My son and I had some of the pizza they offer on the top floor skybar which was worthy of sharing with more people. The patio had a wonderful view of Eureka Springs. We had tickets for the ghost tour after that. My son was lucky enough to hold the EMF detector. It went off a few times and got us all on edge. The tour was fun and the ladies that take you around wore period dress. I want to stay in room 218 next time I'm there! Take the tour to find out why.

Paid mega money to stay here. Daughter got cold late at night and when we asked the front desk clerk for an extra blanket, he told us "no, they've all been checked out". Upon talking to his manager, she told us they keep extra blankets up front just for that kind of thing. She told us he blatantly lied to us. The place is run down. Tacky room decor. The air conditioner was falling apart and extremely loud. All the hype made about this hotel is very much overrated. For the price I paid, we could have stayed at a fancy really nice hotel.

Hi There, I stayed there once in the winter with my husband and daughters, the ghost tour was so much fun! My daughters kept poking me on the tour then looking away really fast, what a fun trip. The room 218 wasn’t currently occupied, so me and my daughters got a “private” tour of the room. As the tour guide left the room to check on another guest, we heard a strange tapping noise on the the window. As we left the room, we heard soft cries of a man weeping. The food is delicious, and the rooms are very nice. I will definitely be going back there again. So check for another comment.

Elevator not working. Claim to fame is handling big groups (weddings, e. G. ). A/C couldn't keep up on a hot day with the number of people in the lobby coming in and out. Mediocre friendliness of front desk employees/management. Yes, it was hot. Yes there were a lot of people. Yes, this place is in Arkansas where it gets hot in summer. Yes, this place brags on hosting large events. Food was good. Service in dining area was good.

CHARMING! Great fun, you can take in a ghost tour, hit the spa, take in a swim, kick back, enjoy fine dining or rooftop restaurant pizza, read a mystery by the pool, explore the springs or go hiking. You can do all of this without leaving the hotel property. The shuttle from the hotel can bring more adventures in Eureka Springs, where you can sing Karaoke at a local bar with some Hells Angels, a retired couple, some hipster college students, and some LGBT newlyweds. You will find the most eclectic adventure in the Midwest when visiting the Crescent. BTW-We stayed in a suite in the annex, it is haunted.

We stopped here to have dinner at the pizza bar and go on the ghost tour. Dinner was great and the servers were excellent. Live music was playing and very enjoyable but not loud or obnoxious. We also had a great time on the ghost tour. Maid Marian was fantastic and the history and stories were very interesting. Next time we'll stay there.

We just checked out yesterday and spent two nights in a suite and we were thoroughly pleased with every aspect of our stay. Every staff member was very friendly and helpful. The dining room breakfasts were delicious, as were the pizzas from the Skybar. We had a reservation at the spa, as well, and again, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the hot stone massages were so relaxing. The roads were too icy to go anywhere, but we were perfectly happy spending our time at the hotel. We took the ghost tour and the guide was a very good story teller. We didn't find the ghost tour to be particularly spooky or creepy, however, I'm sure that has a lot to do with us being skeptics. I definitely recommend a stay here. Thank you to all the staff who made our anniversary very fun and special! We will definitely return for a visit.

We attended the Christmas Feast. What a beautiful and antique feel. The hotel is the most elevated building in town. You can see it from overlooks in the area, standing high on the summit. The service was great and it really felt homey. Wonderful food, especially the duck pot pie.

Here for Christmas Day, right in front of St Elizabeth’s, so was very convenient after Christmas Day mass. Seems like the hotel has been spiffed up. There’s better decorations, feels more cozy and welcoming than the last time we’d been. They were offering a morning history tour, so we joined. Glad we did as I’ve learned more. One of which is that they’re redoing all the rooms. Mary, the events manager, was awesome! Great knowledge of the place, and very hospitable.

I can’t wait to come back. We roomed in the penthouse suite and the view was amazing. The breakfast in the crystal ball room was perfect. Waffle Bar — enough said. The massage and sauna that came with the package was the best I have ever had.

The hotel has a lot of history, and even without a tour, you can see it in every step. It was a beautiful visit, the staff was friendly and courteous, and very knowledgeable about the hotel and the area. One of the bartenders was happy to share stories about the area, and was very friendly while we waited to walk up to our tour of the hotel. We did not stay overnight, but would be excited to do so in the future, maybe in Miss Theodora's room…

We did not stay at the hotel but we did eat at the restaurant and it was wonderful. The service was amazing and the food was to die for. The atmosphere at this restaurant/hotel is incredible. It is very Victorian. And is said to be on of the most haunted places in the country. It was not terribly expensive. I had a very large dinner and the ticket was $60. That included an appetizer, salad, entree and desert. There is a live piano player in the dinning area. Be fair warned if you take the back way the roads are very wings and can only accommodate 1 car at a time.

Visiting the Crescent Hotel was like taking a trip back in time. The decor and the building itself are spectacular on their own but factor in the exceptional staff and nostalgia and you have a first rate experience not soon forgotten. There is excellent dining on site and the Sky Bar is available for a more casual time with a great view of the Ozarks. Throw in a ghost tour or even have your own haunted experience and the memories here will be relived many times. Too bad there are only 5 stars.

I love this place! The rooms are decorated beautifully! The dining is wonderful and there are several options! I love the Sunday brunch! Watch the room service. The delivery staff often mention where to leave the top on the charge slip, but the gratuity is already included. We go every year!

Excellent staff at the front desk. Very accommodating when helping us with a last minute reservation when other plans fell through on a busy Friday night. Special mention to Ariel and Josh. For the age of the place, the cleanliness and updates were impressive. An elegant place and a wonderful hotel to celebrate a milestone birthday. The breakfast buffet was wonderful.

Beautiful old hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Enjoyable place The Ghost hunting tour would have been more fun with less people. Too many people making to much noise. I suggest you just go off by yourself snapping pictures a lot more fun.

As for the hotel and the ambiance excellent. There is some maintenance issues that are Cosmetic in nature only that I would change or continue to address being the owners. I know it must be hard to maintain a building of this nature. Truly enjoyed our stay. Would stay again. And think you would enjoy staying here also if you believe in spirits and ghosts. The picture that I'm adding to the Post is of a cat Spirit walking down the hallway. I am a clairvoyant medium and did not feel anything but I was on vacation and didn't even realize I was coming to a haunted hotel LOL.

We recently went to the Crescent Hotel just for touristy reasons. We didn't stay the night, although we were able to see inside one of the rooms available and they looked very nice. The employee that greeted us at the front door was very friendly and knowledgeable. He told us a little about the hotel and different things that we should make a point of seeing. He also helped me later with finding a souvenir. The staff was friendly and perhaps next time we will be able to stay the night. Maybe we could see a ghost!

Fantastic evening of music at the upstairs bar. Outside on the patio, open but enclosed, perfect with a cool rain in the air. Looking over the hills, had a sampler flight of local beers — great selection on tap. Musician for the night was exceptional as well. Pizza was decent, not something I'd recommend on its own — only a large size available, much too big and heavy for two people. Flavor was good but lacking layers. The other elements made the night, though. Still recommend all around — service, selection, location and view. Definitely give it a shot.

Fantastic historic hotel. It is apparently haunted, and I recommend partaking in the ghost tour, if only to learn of the interesting history of the hotel. It's over 130 years old and brims with character. Do not expect a modern hotel, with modern amenities, but it's not rustic either. Service is great, and very dog friendly. Great pizza at the bar, and great views from the balconies.

The "family tour" of the "haunted" hotel in the evenings is not appropriate for children, even though the hotel says it is. My then 9-year-old daughter loves ghost stories and is not easily frightened, but this tour nearly ruined our trip. In fact, I can still see lingering effects a year later. After this tour, for the first time in her life, she was afraid to go to the bathroom alone. It really scared her. Then the tour guide would not allow us use the exit right next to us (to the outdoors) because another group might be coming in that way, causing us to get lost in a maze of hallways and locked doors in the basement. Even I was a little scared then! (Yes, I should have disobeyed the tour guide — hindsight. ) Also, during this tour, I got to explain words like illegitimate and adultery to my then 9-year-old. That was fun.

I thought The Crescent was a really neat place with an interesting history. My group and I took their "Ghost Tour" and it was okay, if not a bit overpriced, but I did feel it to be educational. I also attended a wedding at the location and thought it was beautiful. The staff seemed very friendly and well-organized.

This place is FANTASTIC! The staff is amazing, very friendly and accommodating. This is an old hotel with lots of charm and all the creeks that come with being 130 yrs old. Tony, Josh, Katherine and Benny at the front desk are so genuine! The ghost tour is fun and explains the history of the hauntings. We stayed in Norman Baker's living quarters. Personally did not see any ghosts but definitely heard lots of creek ing and eerie noises! SO FUN! Our room and bathroom was clean and kept tidy during our stay.

After partaking in an beverage my friend and I tried to crash your ghost tour and much to our dismay we were unsuccessful. We tried to blend in and the tour guide completely broke character and proceeded to tell us to keep walk and wouldn't say another word until we were completely out of her view! Which then led us to listen from above. This ruined our experience of said ghost tour. We won't be returning!

Dining room closed for special event. 4th floor pizza place serving sizes outrageous and wasteful! One size pizza only offered. Two adults consumed 1/4 and wasted 3/4! One order cheesecake served with two large wedges of cheesecake and bananas foster topping. Good, but again 2 adults could not finish one serving. Twenty minute wait for pizza and again for dessert. Will not return.

I had no preconceived notions about this hotel being haunted. I had picked it out of a brochure and drive up with my parents and two young kids. The first thing that happened was they placed my parents in a room that looked like a funeral parlor in the floor above the kids and I. My 7 and 8 year old kept asking me to cover the pictures because they felt they were "staring at me". There were almost NO guests at the hotel. That night, the kids dozed off and I was watching television. I turned off the lamp and as I was about to fall asleep, the chain on the INSIDE of my room began to slide back and forth. I was absolutely terrified. There was a feeling of dread and evil about the entire place. I called my parents and begged them to sleep in our room. I slept restlessly with the feeling of being smothered. The next morning we took a carriage ride through the town and that's when we found out The Crescents history and that it had been featured in "Americas Most Haunted". I couldn't get out of there fast enough. The feeling of evil and dread stayed with me until we got to Hot Springs. I will NEVER stay there again! My silly extended family didn't believe me, so they took a trip to the Crescent only to hear of the suicides, murders, cancer deaths and other atrocities that had happened there. Cameras went off flashing in the middle of the night. Not one picture was salvageable.

The hotel was breathtaking. The view is beautiful. The staff was always helpful and very friendly. The ghost tour was an absolute blast. I definitely recommend the Crescent Hotel and plan to visit again.

We have had a great time. Every staff member we have met has been very hospitable and knowledgeable. The view is spectacular and the Sky Box pizza is awesome.

My husband and I went to the Ghost Tour. We paid $50 for tickets and it was a terrible waste of money and time. Don't go!

The rooms were wonderful I happen to live in Indiana, however I own a home down in Arkansas and I fell in love with visiting this hotel, so I decided to stay! I wouldn't change it for the world. The staff was wonderful as well as the sight seeing of the actual hotel. The lobby was beautiful and it felt as if I walked back in time, it was simply a wonderful experience and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a nice vacation with a cool creepy past. This hotel is most certainly one of my favorites I have ever stayed in! Loved it!

Hotel is beautiful, albeit as an older property you have to appreciate the history and rustic aspects. Don't expect everything modern here, but that's part of the appeal in my book. Rooms were clean and tidy, bathrooms were spotless. Bring a hanging travel pack for your toiletries, as sinks are small with little room for them. The Sunday brunch downstairs at The Crystal Dining Room is a must, get reservations the day before at the latest or be prepared to wait.

The 1886 steak restaurant in the crystal room is very nice but the food leaves alot to be desired I believe it was prepared by a cook not a chef. The steak over cooked and others in our partys food was dry and very bland I was VERY disappointed but the Hotel its self is very nice.

This was a dream come true for me and my sister! Mom booked the room package (price wasn't bad AT ALL for what was included), and when we got there and asked for an "active" room, we were upgraded to the Norman Baker 2 story penthouse suite! I could've died happy right then and there. The staff was extremely friendly (didn't even look at me funny as I squeaked and shrieked and bounced around like a toddler with excitement), the pizza was the best I've ever had, the ghost tour (thank you Ms. Peach! ) was so much fun, the view from our room was breathtaking (as is the hotel itself). The entire place is absolutely beautiful! I felt right at home from the moment I walked through the doors. I hated to leave, but I definitely have another trip there planned for fall 2016! This place is spectacular in every sense of the word! Yes, it's old, but that's a big part of the charm. I'm in love with the Crescent Hotel!

This ghost tour of a haunted hotel is definitely spooky. It is a bit odd that you are touring through an operating hotel so you see guests wandering past you from time to time. (Real, not ghostly! ) But there are a few places where your tour group is alone, the best of which is the basement. I loved it when they shut us in a basement room and turned off the lights! A fun way to learn a little local history from your tour guide and get a few chills along the way.

The room was large and comfortable. A wallmounted, large flat screen TV is above the mantle. The only problem was that our room did not have an overhead light or fan. The bathroom was very bright, with a freestanding tub and beautiful windows that filled it with light. The shower amenities smelled amazing and are from the spa downstairs. The water from the shower would alternate cycles of fire and ice, but icy was definitely the major describing factor. All of the rooms we visited were different, but had the same feel. The staff was very gracious and welcoming. I was there for a large wedding, and the staff answered all of our questions we had. They also checked us in early without any problems. Great place to stay! Beautiful views and a creepy history.

This is spookiest hotel iv ever stayed in and the funnest ghost adventure iv had. We stayed in room 3500 aka Dr. Bakers pain asylum. The presence in these rooms was definitely felt. I loved the ghost tour and hearing all the history. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were very nice and helpful. I enjoyed the new moon spa and the ladies working down there. Dana was a great massage therapist. I recommend trying the tour and at least spending one night here in the rooms.

Very beautiful and nostalgic. The ghost tour is a must to do at least once. But you can always do it more than once. Have never stayed here but have walked around the entire property several times over. Such a great spot to take pictures. They do need to update the carpet in the hallways and or clean some of them. Other than that it's a Eureka Springs landmark and a "haunting" good time.

Ive been to the crescent for a little vacation and when we went up there it was a good feeling from when we entered to the time we left. (IT WAS VERY SPOOKY THOUGH) We sat down for lunch and one of the waitors did some very nice things for us. He asked us to leave a review on yelp for him but I completely forgot about it. I forgot his name as well but he was a very nice man with great manners that was just a big kind man. (Along with the other waitors and waitresses) We tried to catch some ghosts but we failed. ;n;

My favorite place I've ever been to… was awaken by whistling in my ear and my grandson had his cover yanked off. Another time my sister's room door opened. Got photo of full body apparition. The kids love it and the Crystal Dining Room.

We enjoyed staying here. The staff was very nice and the room comfortable. I'm giving them a five star because they are dog friendly. They allowed our dog to stay with us for a small fee, which was a huge help to us.

Enjoyed our 3 day stay in this beautiful historic hotel. The staff was cheerful and knowledgeable of local sites and restaurants. One of the best meals we had was dinner in the elegant dining room here on site. Close to downtown, great views from our room and a wonderful out door pool. Spa and ghost tours available, which we did both. Come and enjoy.

Went on the ghost tour which was fun, got some very creepy pictures on our phones, Major Tom is a cool dude. Second time we went we did not take the tour, but my husband and I went and had drinks on the balcony which was nothing less than amazing. Great 90's alternative music playing, super nice people, and the drinks were fantastic! Can't wait to go back!

I stayed there with my two small children. 1. ) staff were great. The concierge was the sweetest lady. She even gave my child a gift. True Southern hospitality! 2. ) ghost tour was worth the cost. My kids loved it 3. ) Hotel was ONCE a grand old lady, however it is a bit worn. Millions more to get up to snuff. Don't come thinking your gonna get a five star or even four star resort. However, my room was clean and comfortable. Window unit AC kept room nice and cold. For a three star at $440 for two nights, I think a bit pricey. Finally, I won't forget my stay and it was one of the more memorable hotels I've stayed at, just not one of the nicest.

Most people come here for the alleged paranormal activity, which is fine, but if you're not interested in that, you'll get annoyed by the constant references to it. I asked about the ghost tour and was surprised that it was over $21 a person. After taxes and other fees, it was almost $300 a night. The room was very small, with peeling paint and stained and cracked ceilings. The mattresses were rock hard and stained. The room smelled clean, but there were cobwebs and mildew in the bathroom. The provided shampoo and body wash were empty. The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was good. I know it's an old hotel and they say they've invested "millions" in restoration, but I didn't see it. There are popcorn ceilings and cheap furniture everywhere. It's not true to the period in many ways. For the amount of money I spent, I really expected better accommodations.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Not only were the rooms extremely accommodating and very comfortable, the staff was simply the best! The food and atmosphere was just plain awesome! I would go back in a second when in the area. The fact they have transportation to their sister hotel in town was an added benefit! I can’t say enough for this place. I would rather give them my money so they can continue preserving the incredible place, than a motel up the street that lacks the charm. Hanging out in the lobby by the fireplace we met so many interesting people. Just amazing.

The hotel is super run down and the rooms are gross to say the least. I have stayed in OLD historic hotels and you can really make them nice just like they used to be for the elite. The ghost tour was disappointing because we had someone in a wheel chair and the lady who was leading the tour would not wait for us. NOT WORTH the money we missed most of it. Saddddddd.

After seeing some of these reviews I was very surprised! I've come to this hotel and stayed in room 303 for 3 years, and I would come back for many many more! This hotel is amazing and historic! It has great views off of the huge back porches. The breakfast in the crystal dining room is amazing and the coffee is seriously the best coffee I've ever had. The spa is beautiful and the staff is so kind and friendly. You can get your toes done while overlooking the mountainside. The lobby has the old front desk with places for every key (real old keys). I recommend going to the Oasis for real good Mexican food and a unique experience. If you want Italian definitely go to Ermilio's. Overall, the town has great food and it's just a great place to come and relax.

Given room 218 — was not told that it was a stop on the ghost tour, which happened multiple times every night after 8 PM. Ghost tour guide was good, but very loud. Room was small, bed very uncomfortable. Was not told of renovations going on on the floor we were given until we got to the floor. Housekeeping vacuumed floor at 7 AM on Friday and Saturday, not a good way to start our "vacation". Friday morning buffet breakfast was fine but Saturday morning all the food on the buffet was cold and the buffet had just opened that morning. Would not recommend this as a good place to stay if you're looking to relax.

We took the ghost tour lead by Marshall Jon Law. It was interesting to hear some of the history of the town and the hotel, but definitely not worth the $21.50 admission fee. The guide was energetic but perhaps too rehearsed in his comments and jokes. The tour felt procedural and boring, lots of crowding around in narrow hallways and staring at doors.

The place was awesome and I really liked the ghost tours we got to learn some history about the place we didnt even know and the one thing we didnt like was the service at the skybar our food was not cooked right and even better it will keep you on your toes because it is a haunted hotel the doors are really old the lobby wasnt changed at all and the hotel grounds are nice one part of the ghost tour is you get to go in the morgue we did notice some stuff like we saw a shooting orb as soon as I took a picture we even saw two of the shooting orbs and we got a bunch of orbs our camera on my sins phone was turned upside down and wouldnt turn right side up there was an app he had on his phone which started downloading by its self he didnt want to download it he didnt even notice until he unlocked his phone so if you want a fun hotel to stay at I recommend this hotel dont listen to the 3, 2, 1 star reviews they dont tell the truth.

I had came to this hotel a lot and had stayed there for my second wedding anniversary, I decided to take my two little grand daughter's and they booked me in a King Suite. The room was dusty the room stayed on the chilli side of warmth. The bed was dirty when tuened back the sheet's. The burgandy blanket folded at the end of the bed was fulll of lint. They charged me an out ragous price for a room that should be lower priced considering it is room 211 you get to hear all traffic coming off the elevator and the gathering of a hurd of people getting ready for the ghoast tour. So if you do not want to rest then that is the room for you. Then I was told I had brunch added in on my suite I told them I had two little girls coming with me I was asked what ages were they I replied five year's and four year's old, The gentlemen that was setting up my reservation for brunch said (qoute) Oh they have brunch free. Well no it cost me for them to eat one little strawberry and a chocolate $ 22.34. I seen water damage in the corner of the cieling's and no rest will not return again and this will be tweeted and bloged. I do not want any one else going through what I went through. I would had asked for a diffrent room but I was already informed that the hotel was booked. I feel that room 211 should not be charged what they charged me because of the gathering of people, and the elevator. Yes you might have a bolcony view but it is of the parking lot.

We stayed in room 419, said to be the second most requested room in the hotel. It was very comfortable with a living area and bedroom. Two TVs. Mini fridg. Microwave and coffee pot. The bed was huge and sooo comfy! Yes the floors can be a little uneven, there's that cool old musty smell in the closet and the doors eerily creek but this just lends to the ambiance of the majestic old hotel. If I had wanted perfection I would have stayed home. LOL We took the ghost tour guided by Katherine. We didn't really get haunted but it was so informative and quite enjoyable. Katherine truly knows the history of the Crescent Hotel and obviously enjoys sharing it with others. Great job Katherine! Well worth the cost of the tickets. I don't mind that the hotel is not exclusive and non-quests are allowed to enjoy the beauty and history also. I had the best drink EVER made in the Sky Bar! Kudos to the bartender. Unfortunately we had to listen to the loud foul language of a honeymooning guest who had too much to drink and cared not that small ears of other diners were also listening to her drop the F bomb five times in a sentence. When I went to bed that night I was cold and covered up to the neck with the blankets. My partner on the other hand was warm and chose to sleep atop the covers. I woke in night, freezing, to find my covers had been pulled off of me and "neatly" folded back. I noticed my partner was now covered by the folded blanket that had been at the foot of the bed.

We rode the bike down from Springfield MO for a two day, one night stay. From the moment we walked through the doors to the minute we checked out, the customer service was fantastic. The Sky Bar pizza was delicious and enormous. We were full after just one slice. Unfortunately, we ended up having to throw the rest of it away as there aren't mini refrigerators in the room and we didn't have a cooler to keep to. My compliments to the chef, not only for the pizza but for the breakfast buffet. I highly recommend the omelet bar. I had a bite of my husband's and regretted not getting one myself. Because of our short stay we only were able to enjoy 1/4 of what the hotel has to offer. I can't wait to go back. We will definitely stay longer and enjoy the whole experience.
