This is the best Motel 6 in the valley, it's clean it's very quiet and they're very strict about their rules to ensure that all the guests have the best experience they can. It's right by Scottsdale Fashion Mall, so close to Old Town and minutes away from The Phoenician. Staff is amazing, and there's no problem with any other guests like in most of the Motel 6s anywhere else. Five stars!

This was a really cool room. Very contemporary and functional. Great location and friendly staff. I could see you easily charging double the price I paid for this room, but please don’t!

Though the Cable was out for the majority of our stay, it was very pleasant. Manager was very nice and did everything she could to get the TV working. It's not her fault though, DISH Network is just a bad service. She called them to send a tech several times, and they came and installed software and did an update, but it still wasn't fixed. I could see she was just as frustrated with the issue as we were.

We promised our friends to visit them in Phoenix and we decided to stay in this motel. We were here for 12 nights and it was truly great. Great location, close to the Old Town, close to different stores, restaurants, safe part of the town… The rooms were very clean, incl. Microwave and fridge… The staff was very polite, helpful and friendly. When we visit Phoenix someday in the future again definitely want to stay here again! Thank you!

Great location. Walk across the parking lot and into the Scottsdale Fashion Mall with all the Big stores and a great food court. No shady people hanging around. Refurbished room was clean. This is definitely one of the better M6s.

Convenient location in Old Town Scottsdale. You could walk to everything or take a bike ride. Only issue we had was our air conditioner. It wasn't giving much air at the highest setting. Otherwise it would have been an amazing stay! The staff was very helpful when we needed to print out our NBA tickets, so that helped us out a lot.

This is a clean, basic Motel 6. I stayed there when I was at a conference and therefore literally only used my room to shower and sleep. It was perfect for that — quiet and in a great location near the downtown. As long as you are okay with quality basics this is a great choice.

Great stay. The rooms were a bit small (that's why it was priced so reasonably I guess) but very, very clean. The woman that checked us in (sorry, I forgot her name. I do know she's from Richfield Minnesota) was very nice! Only real negative was… a bit of shampoo/toiletries would be nice.

Location was excellent! Close to bars, resturants, and Camelback Mountain hike. Didn't like that room service was a must and not an option. And the very loud carts that the maids use in the early morning. Other than that the stay was very pleasant. Room was nice and modern. And the staff was nice. Didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked lovely. The Pancake house was great! Enjoyed my blueberry pancakes. Thanks Motel 6 definitely staying here again.

For a Motel 6, it was in great condition. Front Desk could have been a little faster at their job/processes. And, they need to go back to offering Do Not Disturb door hangers. Sometimes we don't want anyone input room while we are away. Other than those minor issues, this was a comfortable, safe, clean and overall decent place to stay.

Close in to Old Town Scottsdale. Rooms are simple and clean. A great stay for the unassuming. Nice having the Original Pancake House on site! Shower water pressure is a little soft, but the stay was convenient.

Front desk staff was lovely and helpful. Room was very small and the shower water pressure was really weak. Also, water didn't get hot… tepid at best. Hard to pay so much for a Motel 6 room when every other one is reasonable… price should be closer to $70. Not $110.

Excellent location! Overall cleanliness was adequate but not as clean as previous stays at this Motel 6 (I did wipe all surfaces including light switches and door handles). Towels were definitely due to be replaced. Main complaint is that sink had an overly powerful spray that left water all over sink and mirror after each use. However, shower spray was the opposite: too light! Neighbor guest were super annoying. Young drunk guy woke my party up at 2:30 in the morning as well as a woman putting on an x-rated yelling performance for the entire building. Lame and inappropriate.

Not worth the 120$ American we spent per night. Towels were sort of stained, rooms are tiny, had to pay for Wi-Fi, no complimentary breakfast found a cigarette butt under the bed, beds are not comfortable. Water pressure was very low. Only good things were the room was clean and the front desk staff was very helpful. If I'm in Scottsdale again I will not stay at this motel.

Solid hotel. You know what you are getting with Motel 6. Good price, decent accommodation. This one has an issue though and that's why it gets 3 stars. The hot water is barely passable for a shower. I told the from desk and they said they only keep the hot water at 115. That's just not reasonable. Charge $2 more a night and keep that thing hot! Otherwise enjoyed my stay.

Staff were all polite and courteous and efficient and made it pleasant. However, all Motel 6's have one problem. There seem's to always be a family just in from Oklahoma arriving at 2 AM that wake you up with their exuberance and happiness to be in Arizona or on vacation. I woke up to a loud discussion over who's cell phone was who's Friday and a low key sound of a TV Saturday and since raising kids I'm a light sleeper to begin. Other than that, I wondered how much more insulation and AAA discount would be at the Courtyard Marriott.

This particular M6 is a grand place to stay. As for the staff, they remember me each time I stay there. I have always had their best service and attentive needs each and every stay. I appreciate the renovations and the modernize rooms, just wish they could include free Wi-Fi instead of charging for it. Otherwise I’m always a satisfied customer. Great location as I notice the quietness and peaceful surroundings with no loud, rude or obnoxious tenants.

Check in people very friendly. Clean room and quiet. Excellent location. Great value for money! I have stayed here every time I need to when I am in Phoenix.

I love motel 6, However the desk clerk was incredibly rude. She said that Californians are Ruining Arizona. That they are coming here in droves and every year it's more and more and they are bringing their crime and Politics and driving up cost of Living. She said that she had just arrived and that we had to wait which was fine but her tone Of voice was more than unpleasant. We asked for a downstaires room she gave us upstairs accommodations. She did not say have a nice stay or call if you need anything. I felt unwelcome the room was fine. I hope my remarks were helpful.

This is one of the nicests Motel 6s I've stayed at and the location was fabulous. Clean, well maintained facility, hot tub by the pool was a big plus (especially after a backpacking trip). Able to walk to restaurants and other attractions in Scottsdale. I felt very safe in this neighborhood. Front lobby staff was very friendly, especially to my Standard Poodle.

Disappointed that there was no shampoo. I was never informed and did not see it was not included. It was not happy to wash my hair with hand soap. Room was noisy from other room noise and outside traffic landscapers.

The rooms look nice and have enough space for a quick stay. There is a very nice pool and hot tub (outdoors). This hotel claims to be non-smoking, however every one of the 4 rooms I have entered smell strongly of cigarettes and no air fresheners are used. Arizona is a dry climate, yet at any time of year when I have stayed, the rooms felt musty and poorly ventilated. During this particular stay, the front desk staff seemed defensive and anxious to put the blame on me when I came back to change rooms because I had requested a room with a fridge and microwave when I booked. They made a really big deal of it, only to find out that it was simply a matter of paying $3 more per night. It was like they were sure that I was going to demand the room for no difference in cost, so they were gearing up for a battle. Even if I had had a problem with the difference, it seems like a lot of angst for $9 for a 3 night stay.

No breakfast But great location.

Very clean and updated basic hotel room. Great mid century modern decor for the price. No coffee in the room but at the front desk. Very pleased for the price but that price reflected the lack of some amenities… shampoo, conditioner and blow dryer were the only things I missed, but the front desk accommodated me with those.

Nice place to stay in Scottsdale, with reasonable price that we can afford. We have stayed at a number of Motel 6's over the last few years, and this one is one of the best maintained, and the staff was also very nice. But all of the Motel 6's that we have stayed at had the same problem — dirty floors. A simple mopping occasionally would do a lot to get a better rating.

Consistently warm front desk people checking you in, courteous caring. Clean, safe, & reasonable prices. Pet friendly as well as Handicap. Housekeeping very good& accommodating, very clean rooms safe place to stay.

The exterior and interior look fairly well maintained, but the room, mostly the floor needed to be cleaned better. There was hair on my sink. Each day when I came back from to my room, my key would not work and had to go back to the office to have the key redone. The second time I told the front desk and told her that, there was no reaction or apologies or any comments, she just redid the key.

The offer is low, as well as the price. Definitely missing a fridge! the room is too little up to the point that one of the beds touches the air conditioning. And there is no room to open wide a suitcase! Not the best hotel experience, but definitely the cheapest.

After a continuous 5-day stay, we didn't deserve to be treated like criminals just because we couldn't come up with the funds to pay for one more night. Humility, compassion and understanding were certainly not at play as the front office staff kicked us out. I was assured we would have a little extra time to collect the remaining amount, yet while at work, my domestic partner was rustled out of bed and threatened to leave, otherwise our belongings would be thrown out on the street and the police would be summoned. Genuine disrespect for our patronage was demonstrated at our most difficult and challenging moment.

This place is horrible! Drove all the way for nothing, "Joy" was her name. Some older tan skinned lady, but was extremely lazy on the phone couldn't even answer a simple question when I asked if my reservation was available for the check in time she stated "i was able to check in at 6 with my reservation" I come there and she says she'll be ready and to come back in 20 minutes. I come back and she's with some bigger black lady that's from the jump getting a snotty attitude it was disgusting. I had to pull out my phone to record. They said my room wasn't available, and when I said that the older lady joy told me that my room would be available, she lied to my face and came out with a completely different story it was too funny to deal with that early in the morning anyways! To make the heat a little better, I was calm and angry as a disappointed customer would be, and so I told them this is ridiculous, and tell me why they didn't like that I wasn't happy therefore they were furious… they didn't try to help, they started yelling at the top of their lungs. Both of them so unprofessional! They definitely made the absolute worst name for themselves. Straight discust.

I have stayed at this Motel 6 for many years. I love your new upgraded rooms, the location cannot be beat, the price in a tourist area is wonderful but this last stay is why I gave it an average rating. My room was clean and everything worked well but when I turned the bed down, there was a stain on the sheet or so I thought. Instead it was a blood stain on the mattress pad that showed thru the sheet. It was so obvious that the maid had to have seen it and ignored it. At first I was just going to sleep on the other side of the bed but changed my mind and asked for a different room. It was gladly provided but no one ever said "I'm so sorry" or anything to that effect. It meant several trips to the office since the new key didn't work and then moving my belongings. No help was offered either. All this has caused me to reconsider staying here in the future whereas before I would tell all my friends about your jewel of a hotel. This episode also makes me wonder about the rest of the cleanliness of the room. All because a maid ignored a blood stain on the mattress pad!

Rooms are always clean a definite credit to the professional housekeeping crew. Front desk always helpful. In area of popular district, where golf cart rides are available for easy transport where you want to go. Nancy works the first shift here on weekdays, she is a delightful individual and willing to provide exceptional customer service.

Prime location in Scottsdale; close to public transportation and a huge fashion mall; near miles of scenic canal walkways for sightseeing and exercise; on site, large swimming pool and hot tub; restaurant; and lovely modern, clean rooms equipped with refrigerators/microwaves and tub/showers. The front desk ladies (Nancy and two others), to be highly commended, were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, taking pride in superior customer service. The overall quality and price is more than fair. This motel has all the ingredients of a five star secret!

Your basic Motel 6. Maybe slightly nicer kept than others I've been to, but it's a solidly one star experience. That's fine. The location is wonderful, next to a nice mall, about 1/2 mile from the downtown Scottsdale restaurant / bar scene, and near a bunch of nice walking / biking paths. There's plenty to do in range of a short walk or drive.

Staff for the most part are friendly and helpful; clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet rooms; nice shower with great water pressure and better than your average motel towels; on site restaurant serves a delicious albeit slightly expensive breakfast; great location, especially if you're there to shop or dine.

I have always stayed at hotels and never a motel until this weekend. I was always told that motel 6 were dirty and crime ridden. This place is actually nice and the price is cheap compared to the places I usually stay. Although a little small, I will definitely stay at this one again.

Hotel was very clean and reasonably priced. Stayed for 2 nights during Spring Training. Only negative part was that the walls are pretty thin and you can hear the TV's from the other rooms through the walls. I sleep with ear plugs when travelling, so it was not too bad for me.

This place is an excellent choice if you're in a budget and say traveling with dogs. I was especially impressed with the boom for assisted entrance into the pool. That amenity bolstered this place a full star. It's a bit loud and the rooms are pretty small. It would be better if the windows had a sheer covering along with the blackout curtain to allow light to enter while slightly obscuring the viewing of everything going on in the room. It's safe, has parking which is visible from all rooms, dog friendly, pool & jacuzzi and is super conveniently located.

Decent motel for the price. Great location, rooms were tiny but very modern furnishings. The rooms don't come with hairdryers so I had to ask to borrow one from the front desk. Room was pretty clean, although I did find a hair on my bed. Also I found the water pressure to be a bit low, and the tub drainage was stuck so water filled up as I was taking a shower (needed to use a mini shampoo bottle to keep the plug open). You can hear talking and cars outside but it was quiet after 10pm. I guess this is a nicer part of Arizona so the people here were not as rude or shouting at odd hours of the night. Only stayed here for one night and my neighbours were not very noisy thankfully. No free Wi-Fi though, have to pay extra for it.

One of the cleanest Motel 6's I have ever stayed at, recently renovated. Room was a little on the small side and like most there was no free Wi-Fi. Still felt a little unsafe and the front desk was really rude and uptight.

It's a Motel 6 so we didn't expect much. We booked it because of the reasonable cost. The room was very small, but clean. It would have been nice to have some shampoo and a blow dryer, The neighborhood was very nice; felt safe. It was two steps out the door to The Pancake House and six steps the other way to the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall. All in all our stay was acceptable; we would stay here again.

It is what it is. No frills. They let me check in at 5am, for a one night stay. I called a few others they said it would be a 2 night charge. Nice neighborhood, front desk was nice.

A very very good place for stay while in the Scottsdale Arizona Area. Next door to the Scottsdale Fashion Square PLaza. Down the street from the Scottsdale walk/eateries. Comfortable, but sometimes noisy neighbbors! Very safe part of Maricopa County. Not like Phoenix, per se.

Traveling from Tucson, AZ to Scottsdale, AZ seemed to take forever, but when we finally reached our destination, we were greeted by the clerk on duty, Linda, from NY, who gave me a better rate after looking at my AARP card, even being patient with me while I contacted my cc company. We were given a great room, with a balcony on the second floor. Checking out on Friday the 25th of Sept, the day clerk, Nancy from Phoenix, offered to share her Newly purchased Sprite for my girlfreind, Jennifer, who was suffering from an upset stomach, and gave us advice on how to get to Tucson quicker, by taking an alternate route that would cut off several miles. The room was clean, the coffe was great, and the whole experience was enjoying, I have never been disapointed with Motel 6, and stay in them as often as I can. Thank You.

Clean enough, night staff was personable and helpful however day staff in the morning was anything but helpful and would not grant me even 20 min on a late check-out. Even tho the hotel was nearly empty. But they should have because my stay in the phoenix area has extended then I will not be staying there again. More over there Wi-Fi is even worse than customer service.

Clean, safe motel in great location.

The only nice thing about this hotel is it's close to fashion square mall, and the original pancake house. The staff or I should say a staff member and manager are VERY rude. I have stayed there before with my pet and had no issue, but this time I brought my dog, and while out to dinner for my son's bday, I get a call saying I need to come back or they will take other measures. The guy next door who needed to mind his own business said we were out all day and left my dog alone. We did not leave him all day long. We actually took him to the park and Pet's Smart that morning. We left and came back several times, and took him out. The only time he was left alone was when we were at dinner for my son's birthday. We had to leave the poor restaurant without our food. The manager was extremely rude! My dog is very well behaved, and because he was barking when he heard the other pets outside, it was an issue. I thought dogs barked, hmmmm I guess that's not allowed! I will never stay here again because of the way I was treated. The other guest didn't know when we were there or not, or actually he was a creep so I am sure he was checking when we left and came back. The manager needs some people skills, and we don't stay at a hotel to stay in the room 24 hours of the day, we stay there so we can enjoy the town. We were not told upon check in that we had to STAY IN THE ROOM WITH THE PET! really? I think NOT.

I've always enjoyed my stay at Motel 6. The pool is always the right tempture and my friend who is handicapped has full accussto to both pool and spa. Shopping and dining are right out my back door The staff is friendly and courteous and the grounds are kept nice an manicured. I stay here at least twice a year and it just seems to get better every year.
