Enjoyed a nice weekend away a few weeks ago. The corner suite is incredibly nice and the tub/shower is perfect. Great solo get away with great service from Jennifer, and the rest of the Kimpton family. Always one of my favorite quick trips to get away from Northern AZ. Thank you for the job well done.

This was my family’s first stay away from our home since Covid-19 started. We needed to get out of our home for a couple of days so we planned a little staycation 10 min from house but still taking all precautions. I must commend the hotel for their diligent service to keep the hotel clean and disinfected during this difficult time. I took my 2 children (10 & 16) to the pool. I witnessed first hand, the staff diligently disinfecting each and every chair/ table as each guest moved about. All staff wore masks at all times and everyone practiced social distancing. I was impressed and appreciated all the extra attention to keep your guests safe. Thank you!

We were in Phoenix for a Suns basketball game. From the valet to the front desk everyone was great. The valet, Michael sent me a dessert for my birthday and Cody at the front desk got us into our room right away. The rooftop bar was wonderful. It was so warm and delightful. They also had a talented performer playing music and singing. I love staying at this hotel.

The Kimpton Palomar has a very cool vibe, plus the people that work there are fantastic! The rooms are spacious and I always feel safe.

The hotel was great. Right in the center of downtown. Perfect to walk around and explore.
The hotel itself was very nice and very clean. The staff was super helpful and informative. Our room was nice and spacious. However, we were there for 7 days and there really wasn’t much drawer space. Also, I understood after the fact, the hotel offers a lot of great amenities. Including a coffee machine. But you need to call down for it. It wasn’t until we say a tiny little card in the bathroom that showed all of the wonderful extra things that the hotel may provide for you. It’s almost not worth mentioning it but I know my parents were a little annoyed. They also stayed in the hotel for 7 days. Other than that the hotel was great. Would love to stay again.

We have been to this hotel so many times I've lost count. It's our favorite hotel ever anywhere. The staff is SO nice and thoughtful, and the hotel is so cool and modern but not pretentious. Rooftop pool and bar is awesome, and the free wine hour is the best!

Did not have a good experience. A/C was not very good. Given wrong information, the floor for concierge was not available even though we were told about it. Misinformation regards to amenities, not a very friendly staff.

Great service great for weddings lots of options one can do at the hotel and only thing really has issue has pool was NOT heated it was cold kids were swimming and of course they will but over all was okay but staff needs to be on the same page about menus and roof top menu was not kid friendly when asked if we could order from the restaurant and bring it up here she said no and apparently that was a lie the Chef was upset but he was amazing really does care about his custo…mers and staff and Brides you will

One of the best experiences I have ever had with a hotel. 5 Stars imo. They found out it was my birthday on the first night of a work week and sent me complimentary drinks and snacks; definitely a positive touch. They followed up by text asking how they can make my experience better and thought that was awesome. The Blue Hound restaurant was just as exceptional; I ate their 2 nights and was never disappointed; rib eye steak and the lamb entrees were ridiculous. Thank you.

Beautiful and chic hotel. We loved our stay here. The pool was very nice, and shaded in the afternoon,. The crowd was a mixed age group. DJ was very cool. The staff was very nice! We definitely will stay here again.

Finally! A hotel that actually cares and provides superior service instead of just bragging that they do and then not living up to it. CLEAN… very nice and clean, comfortable, stylish, well appointed… But this isn't what is so great. The great part is that you can tell that the staff here is taught to truly care about the guests experience and empowered to overdeliver to them. Christian and Austin we both great examples of this kind of customer service. Well done! We will definitely be back.

Excellent hotel overall. The daily happy hour with free wine and pizza at 5:00 PM and the location are the best things about this hotel. Also the staff is very nice. The beds are comfortable and they even have a firm & thick pillow if you request it. My one complaint is how they charge $8 for the water they put by your bed. This FRED water had no price on it and there was no price list in the room at the mini-bar near the fridge. If you're going to sell $8 water, at least warn people by placing a price tag on the front.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay at the Palomar. Fabulous room, ask for a mountain view. The staff at every turn is exemplary. The boutique style contemporary decor is spot on, right down to the background music playlist!
If you are looking to stay downtown PHX look no further than the Palomar. I will be back!

Beautiful rooms! Such a convenient location to Chase Field. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Rooftop pool that is shaded in the afternoon with bar service. Coffee and tea in the morning and social hour with wine and vodka in the evening! We will definitely look to book again next time we are in Phoenix!

This hotel is a treat to stay at! Stylish, comfortable, and modern hotel with lots of amenities. The parking was a small pain, but worth it when enjoying the 4th floor pool with beverage and snack service pool-side! The restaurants located inside the hotel were phenomenal, and the location couldn't be beat as we walked to Chase Stadium for a Diamond Back game. Overall a great stay and we will be back.

This hotel is beautiful and the customer service and care was exceptional. The restaurant is delicious and the bar staff were more like mixologists. Great location to be able to access everything. It is in the center of every major happening event. It is quiet and super clean.

Are you Loquacious!? Then this place is the right choice for you. The staff is helpful and caring. If you're afraid to walk alone at night, the staff will go above and beyond to escort you. This modern hotel is nice and cozy. They provide free water to their guests. During happy hour, they also provide free snacks, wine, and vodka to their guests. If You're going swimming, they provide sunscreen too This place is a heavenly dream and I do not want to wake up.

The staff here was amazing to associate with. The worker who was in charge of the my room and the services was an outstanding person. They staff coordinated really well and they kept asking me if I wanted something else and did it with niceness. This hotel is highly recommended.

Staff was very polite and helpful. They provide ample shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, which is nice. Rooms were clean, and guests are welcome to use the EOS fitness center. (The Body Pump class kicked my butt! )

Nice place they got a pool bar & Diner up on top and I took some pictures they're building a couple of buildings and on the roof you can see the construction looks pretty cool you can also see Diamondbacks stadium you can also see Talking Stick hotel and gaming Resort where they play the basketball games you'll see my pictures. It's a very nice hotel and it's an apartment condo complex as well. The staff is great they truly are very very personable very very nice even the car jockeys the kids and park your cars those young man hustle their butts off and they are really really nice young man. The front desk staff is extremely helpful the hotel has a very upscale feeling to it on the second floor if you live there you can get free coffee and tea and little amenities things like that. Very nice living conditions I know it's not cheap by any means. I walked up to the bar and upstairs on the pool deck and I said hey how much is a Long Island Iced Tea and the bartender says she said to me$15 plus tax and I said to her and tip and she smiled. Very nice place very very nice place beautiful building and beautiful surroundings and pictures.

Wonderful staff. Clean spacious rooms. Amenities we're nice. Pool was cool but was super super super packed! We had a wet room in our suite that was absolutely amazing! Housekeeping was excellent and attentive! Location was spot on with so much each direction you turned. Food, fun, bars, sports, you name it you could walk to it.

Stayed for 4 nights. Seems like it's trying to be nicer than it really was. Linens seemed the same as quality as a holiday inn or la Quinta. Finishes it the room seemed of high quality but poor craftsmanship. Location was nice, close to lots of things to do. Cityscape was nice and close to chase field.

The Palomar is my go to hotel in Phoenix. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable with awesome views of the mountains (might only be certain ones but I've been lucky). The pool and bar are nice and then the restaurant downstairs is delicious and the servers are always nice. The minibar in the room is great and they have full size shampoo etc. In the bathroom. Finally and best of all, you get to access the gym next door (EOS) for free with your stay. I could keep raving about happy hour with free wine and other perks but basically staying here is a no brainer.

I'm saddened to write this review as I have loved staying at this hotel for many years, since they opened in downtown Phoenix. I have tried several dates and now called the reservation line with a confirmation that this hotel no longer offers military discounts. I tried to book in April which I understand is a prime time so wasn't surprised the discount wouldn't pop up. Now I've attempted to book in September, no military discount options. Called reservation line who has confirmed that military discount is not available in September. If you know Phoenix in September, nothing prime about that time, it's HOT! So I gathered that since Kimptom got bought out by an international company, no more military discounts, really no discounts at all from the price quoted for September in Arizona. I'm sad because this was always such a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. On to a condo rental for the weekend instead for $100 less a night!

Very nice staff and nice room.

The decor is really nice. It's really clean throughout. Bathroom in our room was amazing as well. Also tons of stuff to do within walking distance. Only gripe would be that the bed wasn't very comfortable.

Service was great. Room was clean. For just overnight I have no complaints. Staying more than a couple nights I have a few wants. The fridge was full of stuff for sale and no room for anything a guest may bring. No coffee maker in the room. No hot tub by the pool (with open to public bar). These are small complaints for to a good hotel in an awesome location.

This is a beautiful contemporary hotel with great service. The amenities are amazing. The atmosphere is light and friendly. The environment is busy with a lot of things to nearby. The conference food was a little bland to me but the training rooms were cozy. The lighting is great too.

Have always had positive experiences at Palomar. The style of the hotel is hip without being too in your face and the service and staff are always very polite. Light rail stops across the street and the hotel is easily within walking distance to downtown activities and restaurants.

I am quite observant when I stay places as I own a lodging company and am always comparing towels, cleanliness, toiletries, staff, etc. To every property out there. This place is pretty damn amazing. Staff was super cool, warm but not fake, attentive etc. I was here for a convention and the bellman walked me all the way with a luggage cart to the convention center. No complaints, happy to be there… The guys the night before were equally nice. Toiletries are awesome and use large bottles offering a better environmental solution but are still great products. Thank you Kimpton, keep what you have going on and your Phoenix staff is top notch!

Amazingly nice hotel! The staff were very friendly. Their computer system was down when we arrived, but the hotel staff were very kind and quickly remedied our check in delays. We had a Corner King Suite and it was one of the nicest that I have ever stayed in. Very spacious and the entire hotel is very modern and clean. The pool bar on the 3rd floor is breathtaking. Lots of great shopping and dining within walking distance. This is THE place to stay in downtown Phoenix!

Room was nice. I liked the automatic doors more than I should've. Went to a suns game so the hotel was a great location.

Corner suite is wonderful with a huge bathroom. Air conditioning vents are oddly pointed into the window curtains, so it takes some effort to cool the rooms down. But the enclosed shower and gigantic tub more than make up for the ac vent.

This place is amazing! The entire building is fresh and classy. The staff made the visit astounding. They helped to arrange the room prior to our arrival to surprise my, now, fiancé with a surprise she'll never forget and helped setup the rest of the surprise with the Blue Hound restaurant on property. The room is comfortable and classy. HD TVs with space to sprawl and relax. Nice views over the area; ours from the ninth floor. Spacious bathroom with a huge bathtub and open shower area. The hotel has a text service available as well if you have questions or requests and do not wish to call the front desk. They are quick to respond and very helpful. Plus, included Wi-Fi! Open pool and bar with a view on the third floor. Walking distance to Talking Stick Resort Arena, Chase Field and Dunkin Donuts. Also nearby is the Arizona Science Center and Phoenix Convention Center. A stand-up comedy club is next door as well. Plenty to see and do. I recommend the stay!

I attended an office party at the Palomars Blue Hound restaurant. Very professional valet parking. The interior of the Palomar was immaculate. Beautiful decor and very relaxing atmosphere. The Blue Hound restaurant was absolutely wonderful. Great bar with views of the city. The food was fantastic, served quickly and our waitress was very attentive to our table. Overall a very professional and elegant hotel.

Right when you got into the doors, you were welcomed by friendly staff all of whom were easy to talk! The room itself was spacious and beautiful for one person. It even includes a yoga mat, iron board, and and closet space! The bathrooms are also quite nice and the tolietries were nice smelling. Perfect night sleep and wonderful staff!

Big bathrooms, with half glass. I love the location and the pool however the kitchen exhaust from the tilted kilt down stairs comes right on the pool deck. Happy hour on the pool bar and a nice breakfast joint outside of the second floor doors.

This is a very nice hotel. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Decor in room and around lobby areas has a modern yet cozy feel. They have a happy hour each day with free wine and flat bread. And the neighboring Breakfast Club is a great place to get breakfast.

The bellmen were amazingly efficient and very knowledgeable. The pool/bar area was so nice to relax at, Great pool menu and drinks, The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room was spacious, clean, and trendy.

Open bar and pool on roof top. Hotel offered valet parking restaurant room service and great housekeeping. Bathroom was exemplary walk-in shower with bathtub inside. Wow… what a great Kimpton property. The staff is amazing and very helpful. The property is spotless and pristine. The Blue Hound Kitchen on property is a great place for a meal. The rooftop pool and bar is great. The corner suite is an amazing room. We cannot wait to be back in Phoenix and at the Palomar Phoenix. Thanks for such a great stay.

I was very pleased with this hotel experience! My boyfriend and I wanted to have a nice little stay-cation after seeing Metallica in phoenix. While this was a far distance from the university of phoenix stadium, we LOVED it here! Very clean, spacious, and modern rooms! The rooftop pool area is so intimate, clean, and beautifully designed… just like the rest of the hotel! the staff was so informative and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to see that someone from customer service texted me while we were out and about to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. AMAZING! I am normally one to want to experience new locations and hotels when we go traveling or need a getaway, but this is hands down a hotel I will prefer for the phoenix area. I loved it so much I became a Kimpton rewards member!

Beautiful room, great amenities. It has everything you would typically need, and if you find something else you need they have a concierge happy to assist. There is an honor bar in the took you can use as a fridge and a room safe as well. It's located across from the arena so it can get slightly noisy, but we were here for an event so it's to be expected.

I can honestly say I was more than impressed with the Kimpton Palomar Phoenix hotel! From my arrival to check-in area was simple and pleasant. They even have a fun little perks a coupon card called raid the mini fridge… perfect after a long trip! All staff are personable, professional and happy to help… this is not just those at the front desk, but valet, restaurant, cleaning and room service staff… well done! The restaurant was great, cool bar area and extensive cocktail menu. They even over a free coffee bar station in the morning, a water bar station all day and a free wine and cocktail happy hour each day… nice way to gather with your friends in the lobby! The roof top pool and bar is amazing with great city views! All in all this was a great choice and would absolutely stay again or recommend for anyone looking to stay downtown Phoenix. Well located near all downtown venues, exceptional staff, spacious rooms, 24 hour room service, amazing rooftop pool and bar with city views, well staffed and clean, clean and, clean!

Our c9m0any held a meet and greet with appetizers and open bar. The staff was professional and sincere. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was open to the outside seating area by the pool. Even though it was 117 degrees outside the inside was very cool and relaxing. The appetizers consisted of shrimp with prickly pear Cactus jelly, mozzarella and tomatoes with a drizzle of balsamic, mini southwestern egg rolls, and steak bites. All was delicious.

TOURIST/VISTORS: this is a great location to stay, especially if you are there to enjoy the newly built night life called CityScape. Be sure to check out Valley Bar, Crescent ball Room, The Monarch, Squid Ink, Copper Blues, and Angels Trumpet Ale House.

Great location and environment. Pool area has a good atmosphere with music and bar with food. Room was good but does not get as cold as would of liked. Check out is at noon and cleaning lady came 4 time starting at 8 am to try and clean the room. Overall great place, definitely going to stay here again.

Very beautiful hotel with great amenities, centrally located. My only complaint was they did not tell us at check in we would be able to hear the clubs across the street or that the music played at the pool till midnight. (Stayed Fri-Sat)

Stayed here while visiting friends in the Phoenix area, the hotel was clean and very modern. The service was excellent. The pool area was small but nice the room was plenty for my girlfriend and I. Wi-Fi was quick for my needs … loved the water pressure in the shower felt so clean after showering here. Will stay at Lipton resorts in the future.

It was a nice hotel with a great location. The common areas where nice but the room was bland. There is no direct access to the hotel from the parking garage, it requires you to take two elevators, one to get to the outside of the building and once your inside the hotel one to your room, weird since its right on top of the garage. They also charge $20 a night for parking if youre in the garage below which is ridiculous since parking is generally free if youre a hotel guest pretty much everywhere else. To add insult to injury I could have just not paid the parking fee since there wasn't a parking attendant to take your parking tickets in the morning. So I pretty much gave them $20 for no reason. May stay again, I'm not no certain though.

Great hotel, fantastic rooms and perfect location. Only issue we had was the placement of the pool. By the early afternoon the sun is completely blocked.

Really great hotel in Phoenix, and I am sold on this hotel chain. I will highlight a few excellent amenities: free and delicious coffee every morning, wine and app hour from 5-6, free access to the EOS gym — a full gym, 'rooftop' bar and pool, full service restaurant that is one of the best in Phoenix and super friendly staff. Definitely recommend staying here.

I had the pleasure of attending the 2016 Girls in Tech Catalyst Conference at Hotel Plmar Phoenix. The event venue was perfect for this conference, IT/AV went smoothly through the entire event, the rooms were comfortable, and the breakfasts, lunches, and snacks that were catered by Palomar were delicious.

Great hotel. Probably more of a hotel for younger party types, but fantastic for families too. Great place to get away too if you're staying downtown.

Absolutely love it the restrooms a large, the pillows just right, and walking distance from the stadiums with many breakfast lunch and dinner options also on walking distance. If you are an artsy person you will appreciate this place.

Nothing special about the room. The site says free Wi-Fi, but you have to pay to be a member of the rewards club so not really free. We were there for an awards banquet that was catered by the hotel. The food was good, but not great. The poolside bar was cool as was the location of the hotel. There's also complimentary bikes to cruise around town on which is pretty sweet.

It was quite good, but not as fun as some of the Kimpton hotels I've stayed in. The Wilshire in LA has been top for me so far.

I would say loved it but just a warning music does get loud (we stayed on a Friday night during a basketball game) because it is downtown. It didn't really bother me and I definitely do not mind coming back. Very clean modern and comfortable ❤ The staff where friendly and very helpful.

I loved this hotel when I stayed here. First of all they are dog friendly, second of all the rooms are HUGE and they have an oversized bath tub as well (although I think they upgraded my room). The service here is great too, the only downside is that there is only valet parking but thats the cost of staying downtown.

On behalf of my friend Kaddy: Very poor customer service! I’m from Germany, and was staying with a friend in this hotel. But I forgot the room number. My friend was going to be out much later and I had no way of contacting him. So when I went to the lobby I asked if they could remind me of the room number. They asked for the name and the key to the room and I gave them both plus my friend’s name. They said the room was under my friends name and that they would need his verification in order to let me into the room. I told them that he was not with me but had left me the extra room key, and that there was no way for me to get in touch with him. They then said I would have to wait in the lobby, until they received his verification. The woman I was dealing with had a stone cold look to her with zero hospitality. This was 11pm at night, and I was tired. Also to make matters worse I had another friend who was dropping me off at the hotel waiting there with me, they did not want to leave me there alone. Some time later, I finally got in touch with my friend and they performed their “phone verification” that they so needed. I’m actually a very patient person, but what really upset me was the way I was treated. When I was waiting they did nothing, they didn't offer me anything — and I just sat there in the lobby in the middle of the night, in a foreign country, in a city I knew nothing about.
