Hotel

I booked my stay on hotel tonight and paid the third party for the rate they offered $112 for the night. The receptionist upon coming charged my card again for staying at the resort. I asked him if he charged my card and he said no, he lied. (1st) overcharge $83.35. I called and asked for a late checkout however I checked out before then I left the hotel at 10:30am there late checkout extends to 12. I got a ping from my credit card saying that FOUND:RE charged my card for $91.15 (2nd) overcharge. I called and asked why they charged my card and the first lady I talked to said there were people at the bar and I didn't get there card because they left to fast so I charged your room instead. This makes no sense to me as I was checked out and they should not of used my card on file because they failed to collect a payment from someone that they served at there bar. I called again and talked to security to ask what was going on. He said he would look at the cameras took my number down and would call me the next day. Next day nobody called me, instead I get another charge on my card for $156.63 (3rd) overcharge. I then call and demand to talk to a manager, I talk to a lady named Jess or Jenn she looked up the charges and says "oh wow ya you have a few high charges there. Let me look into this and I will get an answer for you and call you back. " I never received a phone call back, I called the following day and do this same dance for the 4th day in a row.

Poor service, main reason for going is their collection of modern “”art”. Wouldn’t recommend it at all…

Love visiting the Found:Re as a local. Always a dope vibe. Great drinks. Great food. Great accommodations and great staff. ❤️

I visit FOUND:RE quite often mostly walking around the lobby and visiting their in hotel restaurant/bar Match. They have art work for sale hanging in the lobby and I heard they have artwork for sale in the rooms too. It’s very pleasing to walk around and look at. Please note before I get into this review that I’ve never actually stayed in one of their four cornered studio apartments rented out per night. Now a second please note: I remain anonymous and I never announce the timing of my casually late arrival. These are for personal reasons such as paparazzi and for staffing reasons such as authentic service. Now without further ado the stage is set and the curtains have rolled up, the review is ready. There is not any other hotel like FOUND:RE in the Phoenix Valley or quite frankly the entire state of copper land with the Grand Canyon situated to the north. Match has a pretty good bar and good cuisine. Please note that you can barely get away with vegetarian options but it’s very difficult for anyone who is part of the vegan race. Their pizzas are good. I really appreciate the arugula pizza and of course a nice classic margarita. They shred/cut the basil up into little pieces so if you’re a whole basil type of person this is not the margarita for you. Their seafood chip n dip thing is also quite scrumptious but a little on the wetter side.

I did an event for 30 women there.
The team who planned my event was out when the time came.
The catering manager left.
The sales rep, the only person on the administrative staff that was capable was injured. He has since left. … The Baquet Chief was AMAZING.
He honestly was their saving grace. The woman I gave a 7k check to, Julie Whyman, lost it. Actually she threw it out. A cashiers check. And then was too embarrassed at her gross incompetence to get me a notarized letter with the proper language so I could (spend my valuable time) remedy the issue for them. When my guests arrived they charged one of my guests from Australia for a room that was already paid for, sending off a fraud alert and shutting off her banking card for 4 days. They were disorganized in general (other than the catering team) and do not have a staff capable of dealing with the demands of their jobs. My event team spent 6 hours going through the final bill because it was so wrong that they were afraid to send it to me. The rooms are nice. The food is ok.
I would never do an event with this company again.

This place was fantastic, great customer service, a fantastic room. I couldn’t of had a better place for our getaway honeymoon. I loved how they had the art all on the lobby. With the restaurant next door. The vip elevator. The only complaint to me is the lower u went to the rooms the better they were. But I still loved my room. Worth 200 a night just when I went though.

Hands down the BEST hotel I've ever stayed at. So great to see a hotel not trying to just be a cookie cutter hotel like everyone else and actually doing something unique. Rooms were great — cool enough to send all sorts of pictures home about! Even the bathroom of all places was well designed and modern, loved the large open shower space. Hallways were lined with really cool and unique art, the entrance area had a travelling set exhibit, and not a corner or wall in this hotel wasn't cool and unique. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, though some of the bar tenders maybe more than others! Was also nice to see food and drink prices maybe weren't quite as exorbant as most hotels usually are too. Would absolutely return.

Absolutely loved this hotel extremely clean the staff is extremely friendly. I called the kitchen at 9:58 p. M. And they close at 10 and they still made me my burger, and it only took 15 minutes. The pool was very nice. The only downfall of this hotel is the walls are super thin and could hear Neighbors late night activity. Well stay again next time visiting Phoenix.

Stayed here while on a business trip and absolutely LOVED the ambiance and funky design of the rooms. It feels less like a hotel than a fun loft with some industrial touches. The shower amenities smell amazing and the bed is super comfy. Great A/C in my room despite some of the other reviews on here. Match is a great restaurant, little pricey, but great food. Loved the bathroom design just simply because it is different than your typical hotel. Stay here if you want a fun experience and to feel like you're staying in an upscale loft. Highly recommend!

Most of our stay was great. Match is a nice restaurant with a great service staff. We had a nice meal there, and really enjoyed our first evening. The decor is unique and trendy, and the rooms are well designed too. Our last night, though, was sleepless due to the other guests around us. They were so rowdy and inconsiderate, but most of all the hotel staff seemed unwilling or unable to deal with it. Unfortunately, this left a disappointing taste in our mouths in the end. With so many choices, I'm not certain wed choose this place again.

Beautiful hotel right in the middle of the city. I'd call the design forced urban. It's got everything you'll need wrapped in a bow and excellent staff.

This hotel was great, the only problem I had was my room was 80 degrees when I got in and I had to cool it down which took awhile. The breakfast room service was great and tasted awesome. I really liked the eggs Benedict. The hotel has a very cool vibe and is easy to get too. It’s a valet only place but there is some parking nearby. Service was great from the staff.

This place is really really funky but fun as well! We stayed here because it was close to a doctors appointment but I want to stay again! Be aware you do have to pay a $25 valet parking fee per night outside of the room fee! The restaurant has a limited but wonderful tasting menu and I paid like $15 for a burger. It was worth it. I really loved the lounge area and the gallery style layout. Be aware you have to use you key card to make the elevator move! The room was awesome! Looked industrial and yet was comfortable!

I arrived to the hotel at 3:45 so 45min after my check in time. They told me they didn’t have a room ready and to give them 30 min and one will be available, I said fine no problem I’ll look around the hotel and grab a drink. It was almost 5pm and NO ONE has came to tell me my room is ready. I went back to the front desk spoke to someone else and he said they still didn’t have a room that it would be just a bit longer and offered me a complementary drink from the bar. Finally it was 5:40 and they had a room ready. Room was absolutely amazing only issue was the ac. When I got into the room the temperature was 75 I turned the ac down to 67 and the fan on high by the time I checked out the temperature dropped to 71 and that was the coolest it got. Other than that it was a nice hotel.

Service was great and staff was excellent. Beautiful and unique hotel. It was the perfect spot for my now-husband and I to get married. Thank you, FOUND:RE Hotel! Pictures don't do your establishment justice.

Loved the industrial look and feel of this hotel! Seeing all the art on the walls added to the ambiance, especially liked the room number plaques! Really enjoyed the very different and ingenuitive way the room was laid out and arranged. Although it was a little odd that there was only one chair for two people. One set of slippers, too. The bed was comfy, towels were thick and soft. The drape, although closed as far as it would go, still let the sun stream in on one side. Very bright a little too early in the morning… Ate at the restaurant, really nice selection of wines and beers. Food was delicious but felt like the menu 'nickle and dimed' you with most everything being a la carte. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. However, it did appear that there was a lack in communication between the front desk and the housekeeping staff. We asked for a late check-out (noon) but we were interrupted twice in the morning. 1st time the employee used her key and started to come in (we didn't hear the knock), then again about an hour later they wanted to come in and clean. The housekeeping staff should be aware of when guests are checking out.

The room was so nice! The view was beautiful and the service was great! They had all kinds of different art all throughout the hotel. I would love to come back for another stay!

Great Boutique hotel. Room was laid out well with unique and excellent, in my opinion, architectural design choices. Great shower, comfortable bed, big TV. The restaurant had good food, although not many vegetarian choices, and was reasonably priced.

LOVE this boutique hotel! The rooms are a nice size and I loved the industrial feel. We were on the 5th floor and had a beautiful view. We'll definitely be back. Directly across from a light rail station, so going anywhere downtown from here was a breeze.

Nice new hotel… Don't really think the art component is done with style… Just a little refinement and they'd kick it up a few notches. The rooms should be carpeted, as you can hear people walking around all night long… Carpet would also kick it up a notch. Great location, but really difficult to get into by car. We took two u turns and kept missing the entrance.

It was definitely an experience. Very rustic and industrial with a modern flare. Felt very up to date and had everything you need for an upscale place. Everything was metal and looked hand crafted. The lobby had allot of expensive art (which I don't think should be that expensive, but if you got the money, you can't waste it as you please). There food was amazing though and that horchata. The bar was ok, a bit to pricey for what you get and the chicken wings was average. I would suggest go to a bar in the area instead.

Awesome. Great atmosphere, art, location. It's valet only parking but we were able to park one street over across from the park next door and didn't have any trouble! Staff was friendly, room layout was unique and very cool overall. Great experience! Would definitelt stay here again!

Weird for the sake of being weird… but staff was awesome. I kept hitting my leg on the stupid bed frame. Creepy pic of a young shirtless boy on the wall was a mood killer, especially since the hubby and I were trying to get some alone time. Could hear the couple in the next room having sex, And they weren't even being loud. Had to change rooms the second night because the smell of pot in our room was so strong! Did like the makeup mirror provided.

This place is fantastic! The service at both the front desk and bar/restaurant was great, food and drink were to die for, and the hotel is super clean. The room was also super clean and had a great view. Bed was incredibly comfortable too. We were also able to walk to downtown easily. Definitely would recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

I found this hotel when looking to do a little overnight downtown with my wife for our anniversary. We were super impressed with the design of the hotel. Valet, although pricey was easy to use and had in and out privileges. The rooms were so cool. We loved the design and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the restaurant for a few drinks and an appetizer for happy hour! The reason for my 3 verse 5 star rating is the booking process and front-desk clerks. On the website, they had a special that gave $50 food and beverage credit and paid your parking fees. This was the deciding factor for me! I booked the hotel room. I am an AAA member and clicked on that without thinking, there were several rates all the same price. When we got to the hotel, I mentioned this to the front desk clerk and she said, well, you booked the AAA rate, so you don't get the promotion. I was a bit confused, I researched it a bit and when I went to book another room, there was an option there, not there before that was the rate that included the special. It's my fault for not calling before when I booked to ask about it. When checking out I mentioned this and the girl just said, sorry you booked AAA, despite both rates being the same nightly price! No apology or attempt to give me some credit to make sure I left happy. My wife and I were celebrating, so I decided to not make a big deal about it. So, unfortunately, this service put a bad taste in my mouth. Just BEWARE when booking through their hotel.

Enjoyed one night at FOUND:RE in December when my girlfriend and I were on a brief vacation through the Midwest. The room was simple and comfortable, it had cool light fixtures (idea making for home, even) a great bed, a bathroom with two sinks (in one?! ) and a walk in shower. We sat by th pool for a bit (not the greatest afternoon light), considered eating at Match (but didn’t), and found free parking on the street. The best part was how central the location was to a number of cool things: Giant coffee, Wren House Brewing and others. It’s a nice place and if we found the room half off at hotels tonight (like we did this time) we’d gladly stay here again.

Very cool chic place. Set in downtown Phoenix with beautiful views and a great atmosphere. Great art hanging on every square inch of the walls. If your looking for a unique place for drinks or an over night stay, this is the place for you.

Pro: The rooms are luxury and receptionist were very friendly. The lunch at the restaurant is delicious. Cons: The price does not include lunch, the restaurant waiter was not very friendly and the Lyft drivers could not find the front door. I'll definitely be back.

This was such a fun, unusual, and awesome hotel experience! This is what a hotel should be! Very artistic and offers great guest expereinces through their design choices. We had a king room which was like an awesome suite you want your bedroom to become at home! It is very close to the convention center, a 15-20 min. Walk or a 5 min. Ride on the valley metro. It is in a great new upcoming art area of Phoenix. Great time! Will definitely recommend and stay here again!

This place is absolutely beautiful. It’s like staying in a small local art gallery. I have mainly good but also wanted to make sure to give you some suggestions when staying here. The standard rooms are small. If you are staying for a longer period of time, there is basically 2 hangers and that’s because the closet can only hold two items and the robe in there. If you are shy and do not want to use the bathroom close to your significant other, then this is also not the place to stay. The sink is open to the bathroom side as well as the sleeping side. I do not know how to explain that any better. My husband and I both got sick from a lot of traveling over the past two weeks and lets just say, we would use the bathrooms downstairs. I think they understood this when building the place as there are about 12 bathrooms on the main floor. I also suggest asking for a room with a view or balcony. We were overlooking the garbage dumpster and the ground and the garbage were overflowing the entire time. It was quite disgusting to be honest. When they did come to get it, it was so loud and woke us. Just ask to not be near that side. Weird thing and this is gross… I vacation for a living so when I say this understand I have never experienced this before. We heard the guy next to us get his wake up call — who gets wake up calls anymore — anyway — we actually heard him peeing. I sat up in bed and my husband said “yep, that’s a guy peeing”.

The beds were so comfortable! Pets stay free. This is the cleanest hotel I've stayed in, and I live in hotels for the past year. It's in a great location right next to a beautiful park, and restaurants. The restaurant MATCH had really good food!

Love this Hotel and the staff! Great experience! We ordered breakfast to our room, it was so good, very fast and friendly service. The rooms were very clean and so modern. The bartenders were so awesome and very helpful on suggesting spots to see in Phoenix. Im definitely suggesting this hotel to all my California friends and family. If anyone is going to Phoenix I recommend staying at this hotel.

Was very accommodating, however walls are rather thin. Unique experience in artsy — district of downtown Phoenix. Good, scenic lobby bar/restaurant. Unique industrial rooms provideded rustic refreshing experience. Good for travelers.

Can't personally speak to the experience as a hotel guest, as I've only attended an event here. What I can say is that the decor and atmosphere here is truly wonderful! I love all the local art, and everything from the flooring to the furniture to the restroom signs was all carefully selected (and all looks great! ). This small hotel houses an event space, a pool with poolside bar, and a restaurant. It's perfectly located for convenient strolls through Phoenix's art district, and it basically serves as a gallery itself.

I did love it. The first hotel I had booked was not available and cancelled on me. So I found this hotel after doing some searches and had read some other great reviews. It sure was fantastic! Wonderful location fantastic staff and service! It is very hip and cool. I was not as crazy about the restaurant. But my room was incredible. Extremely clean, extremely comfortable, the views off the balcony were spectacular! I would certainly stay again. I would say it's good for a single person or a couple, this is not a room you'd want to share with a colleague because of the way the bathroom's laid out, to me, it would be a little awkward. Just a note if you're planning to stay here. But I definitely recommend it without hesitation. Great place!

We were in Arizona for work and had to cover a lot of ground on foot during the days. The hotel heard about us being tired and having sore feet at the end of the day and they sent us some Epsom salts to soak our feet. GREAT customer service. Beautiful hotel and concept. Highly recommend.

FOUND:RE is a chic boutique hotel in a great location. Rooms and amenities are great. The hotel is a little noisy but I would stay there again when visiting downtown Phoenix.

Our favorite staycation place for around $100/night! No one really knows about it but it's great for visitors or locals any day of the week. Access to everything downtown from the best industrial chic hotel we've ever seen. We have been there 6 times just this summer alone and bringing more people Everytime!

Excellent. Accommodations were spectacular. Staff was meticulous. Room was out of this world. Great industrial space. Match Restaurant was AMAZING. Definitely earned their 5 star rating.

This place for a complete surprise for us. We were passing though and booked it on a whim. It's describe as industrial chic which only pictures can describe. Service was great. Restaurant was amazing. We might just come by to phoenix to visit there for the wknd.

Lots of interesting people around the bar! Stayed here with my wife one night and found the rooms to be excellent, lots of great details. Definitely not a old-school hotel.

The design, artwork, the fact that you can bring pets with no additional fee, and restaurant are the best features. For the "standard king" walls are paper thin and we heard our neighboring room guests until 1am (they were having a conversation at a reasonable volume), beds were a little firm for my tastes, room service was delivered to-go style in a paper bag. The restroom in our room is only separated from the actual guest room by glass paneling so bathroom noises can be heard in the guest room also. Cool place to stay, won't return.

This is a place you need to go if you want to vacation in downtown phoenix! really cool art and staff. I also got to dance with the staff around midnight when I came in. Would rate 6 stars if I could.

Staff in all areas are friendly, knowledge and incredibly helpful. Bar are restaurant are always good. Avocado Toast in the am is delicious. This is my go to hotel in the area, centrally located.

Great customer service! Local art in the lobby (most is for sale). Valet service, room service. Great ambiance and interior design. Awesome full bar and restaurant (Match) downstairs. The location is unbeatable: walking distance from The Phoenix Art Museum, The Heard Museum, Japanese Friendship Garden, Film bar and, an arcade bar (to name a few). Lots to do. Oh and the metro is right outside the hotel!

This is a different kind of hotel, if you want different you should try it but if you want comfortable find something else. We got stuck with a bad room. We probably could have asked for something better but since it was one night we hated to have to repack and change rooms buy the sink was clogged, the bathroom door didn't lock, there was a broken switch in the bathroom, the window was about 5 feet high so you couldn't see out and worst of all the black out window curtain didn't close all the way and I woke up to the light hitting my face at 6 am. Also beds seem small, they aren't Queens so my husband and I decided to sleep separate for comfort, to bad the sun messed that up.

Such a fun hotel! Stayed here on NYE after the Buckeyes were slaughtered at the Fiesta Bowl… and even though I thought our night was ruined, Found:RE definitely made up for the upsetting defeat. That night they had a NYE party going on at the bar so we hung out there for the midnight countdown. The whole staff was very accommodating and friendly. Housekeeping even brought up razors when I forgot to pack mine! Reminded me of the Ace Hotel in LA. Would definitely stay here again when in Phoenix.

We reserved the King Suite, the room itself is amazing. Lots of room, and a great view. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Lots of amenities. Cons: we had a huge water leak with our shower and were forced to use the adjoining room to shower in. (Smaller shower) We weren't compensated at all for the inconvenience. Not only that, as a paying hotel guest you have to pay $25 per night to park in the lot. A bit ridiculous if you're already paying so much to stay at the hotel.

Great hotel. Very unique vibe but quite comfortable. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and new. Staff is warm and accommodating. The art is fun and some pieces are quite a conversation starter. Stayed here for a business meeting and all my co-workers commented that they enjoyed the hotel as well.

LOVE this place. The art in the lobby (and in all the rooms) is fantastic. The bar/restaurant has a great vibe and even better food, with good drink selections, too. Our room was probably the coolest hotel room I've ever stayed in … very unique design with lots of great touches and super comfortable. All of the staff was attentive, professional, and so nice. The walls were a little thin noise-wise, but pretty comparable to other places, so definitely not a deal breaker. The location is also perfect, with lots of cool places within walking distance or a quick light rail ride away (there's a light rail stop and a bicycle share station right by the hotel). This was the perfect place to spend New Year's Eve … only trick now will be finding an excuse to come back.

The FOUND:RE was an unforgettable stay-cation adventure! It was fun, unique, and left my wife and I feeling truly proud of our city. Rest assured knowing that this hotel is more than just a stay in a room. We found a new discovery around every corner that really felt authentic and meaningful. Everything was really well thought-out; the perfect embodiment of who we are as Phoenicians and who we now want to become. Practically speaking, my wife has several dietary restrictions that were perfectly accommodated for, and we even brought our little puppy, whom they treated like royalty (brought her a dog bed everywhere we went! ). On the whole, it was just great. We are only one couple in a sea of many, but we simply loved our time here.

The experience is easily forgettable. The lighting is terrible and doesn't compliment the food, the art or anyone's date. The plates are dark on black surfaces, it doesn't compliment the food. The portions were way too small and unfulfilling. Probably wont be going back, it doesn't feel hip or sexy… it seems half baked on all levels from food, ambiance and the service wasn't enough to make up for the prior.

Everything about this place is beautiful. The dessert my wife and I shared was gone before a picture could be taken. All I could think was how the pastry chef poured there soul into it. The daily rum cocktail was delicious. We can't wait to go back and have at the dinner menu.

Restaurant was amazing. Fantastic cocktails and outatanding food. Loved the art gallery / hotel lobby space as well.

Amazing hotel and the restaurant was great. The other reviewer complaining about prices must live in a small town or something because it's totally affordable!

Food was very pricey with extremely small portions the food itself was very average so all in all save yourself the expense. Service was fine but honestly just go to a food truck.

Bartender Felipe was great! Menu looked good. I will be back for the food.
