I stayed at this lovely property in connection with a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of every aspect of the experience. The lobby is well appointed with modern furniture. Similarly, the rooms were beautiful with the hallmark comfortable Marriott bedding. I stayed in a suite which featured a barn door type partition that separated the huge garden tub from the bedroom. Even more important—-the quality of the staff. I looked forward to breakfast every morning. Not only was the food EXCEPTIONAL (you better try that waffle and THE BACON), but the staff was even more so. I looked forward to breakfast every morning where Mykayla was always so kind and attentive. She was friendly and did everything in her power to make sure that everything was done right. Additionally, Tony S. At the front desk was awesome. He was patient and kind no matter how many times I lost my key! He always had a smile and no matter how busy he was, kept the line moving efficiently. The property was adjacent to a concert facility and two sports stadiums and across the street from a Tanger Outlet. I will return!

Can’t be bothered to service your room — even after I specifically requested they service my room, I got back this evening and nobody had bothered …, tells you all you need to know — need to try a lot harder. Wouldn’t stay here again!

A rat was in my room, the manager Katie took no responsibility for the issue. The "engineers" of the hotel were looking into it. Needless to say I did not sleep well. I did get a new room that night-I ended up needing to stay in the area another night. I was told there was no "available room" on a Monday. I ended up calling the direct line of the hotel and turns out this manager lied straight to my face. If you want rats and lies in your suitcase stay here.

Was there for the Mad Monster Horror Con — what a blast! All of the employees were so friendly — especially the ones at the bar! Made for an amazing weekend!

It is a very clean hotel, pricey since rooms are just regular not what you would think for the price.

Location is perfect for the hockey games, staff was great, pool was nice… can't wait to come back again.

The location is the best… minutes away from Westgate. Service at the bar is slow. Waitresses are nice and tried to accomodate everyone but you can tell they’re understaffed.

Beautiful resort, the pool and hottub were perfect. Even with limitation from COVID they still had coffee and breakfast available.

Absolutely incredible! The room was comfy & no temperamental shower (we also had a hot tub in the room bit only fit 1). The area surrounding it is a shoppers dream. We went to Blake Shelton’s concert & it literally was next door. They had extra staff & security randomly looking at room cards & extended “pub grub” for after the concert & doubled the bar staff.

Me and my husband had an amazing weekend here over the weekend everyone was so super nice and accommodating. It was one of the best stay cations we have had.

The hotel was comfortable with easy access to the surrounding entertainment. I was helped with ease without any hassle even as a whole football team, cheerleaders and fans were staying there. It goes to show how well they handle a big crowd and big events!

Had a Great event at this property and the room was clean and nice with comfortable bedding. However, our room shared a wall with the elevator banks and we might as well have been sleeping in the mechanical works room. We went to bed at midnight and found that the elevator bank that does not have any rooms behind it "out of service" and only the elevators on the other side of the wall from our room were working. Of course this means we hear the mechanical works all night long. We checked in just a few minutes early for an event in one of the ball rooms and this is the room the check in people gave us. This room should not be given to anyone unless there is no other room available and it should come with complementary ear plugs and free coffee in the morning. I would have given 5 stars other than the big elephant in our room. If we bring the event back here again I will be specifically requesting a room far far away from the elevators.

I love coming here. The employees are so welcoming. Every time I come, Iris always makes me feel like I'm at home. Catalina is the one I always go see. She's amazing. She wants makes me feel new when I leave her salon room. The environment is always friendly. It's a clean spa. I would recommend it! Thank you ladies for always taking care of me.

The room is nice and has a comfortable bed. The bathtub is awesome and our suite also had a half-bath, which was convenient. The only bad thing is that the rooms are so expensive and you still have to pay for parking.

Booked a staycation for the 4th. Hotel room was big and spacious. Beautiful lobby and friendly staff. Pool was great. Restuarant was on point! Great menu selection. Kudos to the chef and his staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.

20 min drive from airport. Staff was very courteous. Adult beverages at the bar were great. Food not so great. Rooms were clean. Pool area was a welcome retreat from the heat. Outlet shopping center and plenty of restaurants nearby.

Front desk staff was not friendly or welcoming when my bf when to check us in they said we were already checked in gave him keys and no additional info was given. Our restroom had a leak under sink. We did have to pay for parking $15 dollars a side from already paying over 160 for one night stay! Our balcony had no light which made it difficult to stay out there at night. Overall room was a nice size, pool was clean. Breakfast was good. For 2 totalled $43 with a 2? dollar delivery fee applied (room service) stay could of definitely been better specially since it was our 5 year anniversary. The stay was okay for what I needed it for but they charge you to park which I find rediculous when there is plenty of parking around. The walls are very thin, I woke up to a crying baby in the room next door and could hear everything that was going on. I don’t have a problem with kids have them myself as well as grand kids. People should be able to take their families to a hotel without everyone else hearing them. Last thing was the carpet it was not very clean and my feet got dirty just walking on it. Overall it was a decent stay and as I said worked for what I needed and it is close to lots of food and entertainment.

The prior year they offered a small version of a Brunch and gave it to our Family for free because of our prior patronage. We were excited to hear the full on Brunch was back on. We live near by so decided to go back. I have to say it was one of the best Sunday Brunches I have ever had! If you are looking for a place to go and live on the West side, it is a do not miss. So glad it is back we and are already looking forward to next year.

Rooms were nice and breakfast was good. Other than that, not very impressed. Front desk staff was not helpful or very friendly. Wake up calls did not happen. Not offered an upgrade and was charged for parking (without even being told). As a Gold Elite member, I expected better. Huge difference from my stay here in November.

Very nice rooms, friendly staff. Elevators are a little loud, be sure to request a room far away from them. Food at the lobby restaurant/bar is quite good. Local beers available. Pool is a little on the small side but very nice, lots of shaded areas on the pool deck to sit in if you don't want to be in full sun.

I went to Renaissance Phoenix Glendale to an event. They have a fairly large event and conference center. Included food, each participant received a paper bag with a turkey ham sandwich (with a very generous portion of cold meats), a container with a small portion of potato salad, a chip bag, a Kashi bar and an apple. The bathrooms were clean but not well designed. They don't have enough room to spend when people are washing their hands. Other than that it's all very well.

For a large hotel it somewhat lacks amenities. Yeah they have a valet and a nice pool area and a bunch of conference rooms. But that's pretty much it. In terms of food options you're left with the places around the hotel, and the bar is pretty large but nothing special. And they have a cafe you can get small snacks at.

Hotel was super nice! Clean room! But, this is a shout out to the amazing valet employees that worked the weekend of March 23-25, 2018! They were always on time, always willing to help above and beyond, and, most importantly, they are the most honest group of employees! I had accidentally left a somewhat expensive and very sentimental piece of jewelry in my truck. I didn’t realize it until we departed on the 25th (my husband drove my truck all weekend) and I saw the piece right where I left it. These valet guys deserve a big round of applause for their honorable service to the Renaissance!

We were her for a dance competition, our stay was interesting to say the least. Although, nothing huge is was lots of little things, customer service being the most disappointing. We had four people in our room, we ordered extra bath towels on Friday they never brought them, the restaurant down stairs had 1 server for 20 plus tables of guests, taking us a very long time to eat. The restrooms in near the convention rooms rarely had toilet paper or paper towels, really all 20 stalls in one restroom and all but one in the other were empty for hours. The “Starbucks” (I would not call it a Starbucks) was out of everything, Iced coffee, cold brew, tea, and Fraps. Over all the room was nice and clean, the convention rooms were great, the service was horrible, over all a hotel ran very poorly.

We stayed there last month for the Katie Perry Concert. Aaliyah was at the front desk, and she was so inviting when I decided to book a room at the last minute. She heard my little girls, and I were going to our first concert together so she made sure she found us a nice room so we can have a memorable experience. The hotel staff was very kind and hotel was very clean and inviting. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a pleasant experience with your family.

This hotel has extremely thin walls. I spent all day at the hospital with family to listen to the room next door blare their TV late into the night. Calls to the front desk accomplished nothing. The rooms are nice otherwise but the front desk was woefully understaffed, no bell staff were available at reception despite a valet car service, and customer service overall was lackluster. As a Marriott Gold member, I usually stay loyal to the brand but I cannot recommend this property and will not stay here again. The Marriott in Phoenix on 44th St. Is superior to this property despite not being a spa hotel.

The hotel was nice — the beds are a little soft for my liking, but the overall room was great. The pool is getting resurfaced, so the view from my balcony wasn't as pleasant as it probably is during the summer. Parking was a little crazy, but I think it was just the weekend that we were there. There was a lot going on in the area. We were here for a gymnastics event. The facility was set up well, but they had several events going on, but they don't set up a lot of signage to help direct people to the right area, although the staff was friendly and helpful. I felt bad for the baristas at the coffee shop as they were constantly bombarded with enormous lines. They handled it well and were very courteous to everyone that came through.

We went there to participate in an AZ boys' gymnastics meet, for which our host organization rented out several contiguous ballrooms. When we arrived at the hotel entrance, there were 3 vacant handicap parking spaces that were sectioned off so as to be part of the valet parking area. I am a disabled military veteran. I asked to use one of those spots. I was told they were reserved only for guests who were renting rooms. I said we are renting rooms — — several ballrooms. Nevertheless, the attendant refused to let me use one of the spots. I then asked to speak to a manager, but the attendant said he didn't have time and that I needed to move. I suspect that some laws are being broken with respect to providing access to disabled people, but I haven't yet figured out who to contact about that. We're very disappointed in how this property is being run, and will do our best to see that next year's event is held somewhere else.

First timer here at the Renaissance! Very impressed with service. Front staff was nice and friendly. Rooms are nice and spacious. Locations was great. Provided a lot with amenities and restraint around the hotel. Definitely a 5 rating. Will come back.

This is the hotel I will stay at in the future. I attended a Hair Show here. What I really like is the restaurant, awesome food! The pl ace is clean with friendly staff.

I was not an overnight guests at the Renaissance hotel near University of Phoenix stadium however I did pick up a family member there during a very busy time. The hotel valet was nice enough to show me where I could park for 15 minutes for free without having to go through a big hassle. I really appreciate it that I believe they did a good job. I've stayed at other Renaissance Hotels and they have always been very nice this one on the inside was no exception very nice on the inside and the hotel room was also really nice. Decor was Modern and well kept.

Met up with friends that were staying there. We were all going to a hockey game that night. Hotel is 50 yards from the arena. The lobby area is very nice, as are the rooms. I would meet here before events in the future and next time would probably just stay here too!

Really neat little area with a ton of entertainment. The hotel rooms are average but the really great thing about this place is the staff. From the front desk to bus, everyone is pleasant and eager to help. Can't beat that.

The location was perfect. Its located at the heart of west gate, where there are many restaurants, bar, and stores around. The rooms were clean and fresh. Ther service were great too, especially front desk.

Went to the spa. Received a massage and facial. Both services were top notch. Well worth the visit. Catalina for facial and Ivan for massage. Thanks!

We attended a cosmetology show at the hotel in the conference rooms at the Renaissance. The rooms were large and spacious and easily sectioned off for individual classes. The hallways and rooms were comfortable enough that even in a wheelchair with a decent size crowd, we were able to easily get around. There were water stations spread throughout. The only problem was the filled valet parking due to the football game occuring at the dame time. We would definitely attend another event.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. Friendly and attentive staff, immaculately clean. Beautiful decor. Right here in westgate by the Cardinals stadium. I love it here!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. The staff was super friendly. The beds were comfy, room was clean and very relaxing. They do charge for parking, but it was the same cost to valet so it was worth it. I live in town and wouldn't mind doing a staycation here in the future!

The hotel is very nice, rooms are comfy. But they insisted I park in their garage for $15 a day or threatened that I would get towed! I wanted to park across the street and they said the lot would get closed off and sometimes cars were towed! I was shocked. There is so much space around this area and the hotel can't offer parking to its guests? And I trust them but I feel a bit intimidated into paying this crazy fee.

Nice and located near Phoenix stadium. If you planning to watch a game, this hotel is right choice. I love this hotel. There's an shopping center from the hotel. It was very nice and clean I love this. I like this hotel because of its nearby I-10 and 101. So you can go anywhere from the hotel. You don't have to take a long.

Went for a professional conference. The amenities were clean and well maintained. Nice decor. Two suggestions — 1: better signage in the parking garage for how to get to the hotel entrance. 2: cut back on the scented air, it was overpowering.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff. No Continental breakfast for the price of the room, coffee and a Danish aren't to much to ask for. Beautiful pool needs work. No shuttle, hotel has a limo service, that costs more than I should have considering the short distance we were taken. Cab would have cost less. Still happy with my stay and will stay there again.

Stayed at the Renaissance because we were attending the Metallica concert at the stadium next door and it was awesome. They hosted their own rock band and pre-show party for the event, and they kept their bar kitchen open late to accommodate. It was gloriously refreshing to be treated with respect, we will definitely be staying there again. The fact that the hotel was stunning made the whole experience over the top.

It's beautiful! Had a conference there and everything was really nice. They do set up the conference room for tiny kids because my big butt barely fit on the chair.

This was an excellent location for the conference. The staff was friendly and there was fancy flavored water, in this case apple cinnamon, in the lobby. Parking was easy and the hotel had a delicious Starbucks cafe inside.

Have been there many time. Always clean, staff polite and professional. I'm a wine drinker and there's nothing I hate more than paying a small fortune for a glass the size of a shot glass, this hotel actually gives reasonable size pours.

Staff was great and helped me get to my location. The atmosphere was loose and very accommodating. The location is nestled right around Westgate as well as the stadiums and arena. The various availability of conference rooms and meeting areas was almost as abundant as the rooms and very well equipped for the meeting.

Clean, accomdiating, and a great atmoshpehere. Pool area is fantastic, and overall a great central location walking distance to shops, redtursnts, and bars.

The rooms are goos stafing are great and food is great! Very professional and helpfull. The loction is awesome right next to a entertainment center and Fottball stadium. Hope I get to come back again next year.

Was there for a dance competition. Hotel is nice. Next to Girls River Arena. Parking is not the best as it is next to the arena and the entertainment district.

Service was excellent, and the place is very well-kept, though the rooms weren't quite as extravagant as I expected. The food was decent. Being right in the middle of Westgate, there's obviously lots of shopping and food within a quick walk.

The hotel is very nice so far. There are great areas to just hang out and relax. The work out room and pools are excellent.

I thought the hotel was valet parking only but when I pulled up to the valet they didn't know what to do at first because I was not a guest (professional training event). They then told me that I could go park myself in the parking garage. When I went to leave the gate was locked and I had to go up front to ask them to let me out.

I was attending an event in a conference room. When I attempted to enter the building from the conference room area outside entrance, I found all the doors locked. I had to walk all the way around to the front lobby to get in to the building. Similarly, when the event ended, I tried to leave out the same doors, but found the still locked so I could not exit either. I believe this is a violation of Glendale fire code considering the number of people attending the event. I was particularly disappointed with I found the handicapped accessible doors lock also as I am partly disabled. I think they are might locking these door for security reasons at night, but fail to open them during conference business hours. I hope they correct this situation.

We stayed at the Renaissance hotel because of Fan Fest 2015. The hotel staff was AMAZING! Everyone from the front desk staff (loved those ladies! ), to the bartenders (super nice and quick), the ballroom staff (seriously amazing and helpful! ) And housekeeping/room service (kindest and mose helpful people ever! ). We enjoyed our time almost completely. There was a water line break that caused our rooms to be without water for about an hour, but everyone was quick to let us know and didn't effect our experience at all! The only problem we had was with a police officer who was wondering the halls. We were told to keep our conversations down (we had our door propped) or else everyone would be told to leave, including the person renting the room. Before this, we hadn't been contacted by anyone else from the hotel, no phone calls letting us know there was a complaint or any member of the hotel staff, it was a police officer in full uniform. This felt very threatening and confusing for us, so to avoid any other possible complaints, we moved to the lobby. The officer followed us down there and told us it was closed and we had to leave if we didn't have a room, or go back to our rooms. It honestly felt like we were not wanted. This is why I only gave 3 stars. I'm not sure we would go back.

Someone there charged my credit card multiple times for hundreds of dollars. Korina seemed residually interested in resolution of the matter but seemed truly powerless to do anything. Emails to corporate have gone unanswered; calls end up in a perpetual que. Since this fraud, someone has gone directly into my account and drained me. Spa Botanica seems to be the epicenter and yet I have no resolution. The services were indeed just okay; I've had much better. The woman who checked me out at the end of the day was very unprofessional; it was not Korina who was there during the day. Overall, this lackluster experience has caused me quite a bit of grief and I would NOT suggest using this spa. Based upon the response, or lack thereof from their corporate area I would say this about ALL Spa Botanicas.

I stayed day 13, 14, 15, 16 in September of 2014, the first surprise is that the internet is limited to three appliances and in the room we were 4 people is one of tThe runs out of service if you want to include another device cost is extra, also coincides with an event in the football stadium and I wanted still guest charge 10 USD for the parking of the hotel. Too small room. The unique water bottle is not complimentary, does not include breakfast, so none of what one can expect in a hotel of this apparent category; It is no good that hotel is eye-pleasing if the services that distinguish a hotel are deficient. I think that a company of this apparent quality not must go by the WC with attitudes that make the stay frustrating. The toilet in the corridors of the hotel's rooms is poor. Not what I recommend.
