Clean Rooms and good service.

Great location. Close to Forest Lakes and local events and places in Heber. Nice little quaint lavender shop next door with workshops available. Pet friendly, good breakfast options, friendly staff, and area for walking. Pizza place close by with the best live band & entertainment. Non motorized water spot close by for paddleboarding, kayaking, etc.

It's great unless you have cats. When we checked in it was fine we told them we had cats on check out the lady gave us attitude saying they don't host cats just dogs. But they advertise to be pet friendly.

We got into town early and the staff made a point of getting us into a room as soon as they could. We didn't have to wait until 3 pm to get a room. Breakfast staff was very cordial and attentive to the buffet to make sure it was kept filled with the items on the menu. Very attentive to our needs. Clean rooms, inviting front reception area and outside area clean. Thanks to any and all staff members whether we had personal contact or not.

Parking lot and landscaped areas are SERIOUSLY lacking attention. Cigarette butts are scattered everywhere in the rocks outside of the non-smoking rooms and property. Sugar packs, and other trash were also observed. Rooms are clean and comfortable, as always. Never fully booked during any of my stays which are usually during the weekdays. Staff is friendly. Attention to detail regarding upkeep of the property and room repairs lacking. Several issues have not been repaired over s couple years of staying in the exact same room. Cracked tub, grout missing or not cleaned from tile work. These are installation problems not addressed by the contractor. Not much to do in the Heber area, nice rest stop before leaving or entering the valley.

We were in Heber for a wedding and stayed at the Best Western at the suggestion of the bride. We found it to be a great value and the customer service was really great. They went above and beyond to help us out and provided a really good continental breakfast, even providing alternatives for food allergies/preferences. They seemed to genuinely care about the guests. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable!

Nice hotel in Overgaard. Comfortable, clean rooms and friendly staff who are very helpful if you need anything. Will definitely stay there again if in the area.

Great hotel, nice clean rooms and the manager was super nice and very accommodating. Have us a ride to the bar and came back to pick us up so we could have fun!

The first impression in a hotel is important, when the entrance is dirty and staff give priority to family members before their guest then you start badly. The room looked nice and clean until we went to sleep and had my whole body getting itchy. A sign from not cleaned sheets or bed bugs. In the morning or must have been one of the worst and dirtiest breakfast I have seen. At check out again we had to wait for 3 minutes for someone to come while their kids we're jumping on the couches from the reception. They need to keep business and family separated and clean more.

Too expensive despite your in the middlebof nowhere.

This hotel did just enough. It was clean, close to everywhere we went, and affordable. Besides our neighbors slamming their door when they arrived at 10pm, we had a good time here. I didn't eat any of the continental breakfast, but it looked like there was a large selection of items to choose from.

We always stay here when we are in the Heber Overgaard area. Beautiful area, & not to far from the American Legion for the Friday Night Fish Fry… YUM.

Stranded — we lost our keys in the forest so we were locked out of our car and airbnb for the night. We had the sheriff bring our family (2 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs) to the hotel (only one in town) to get a room for the night. They have no locksmith or cab service here so we were literally stranded with more than 30 miles any direction to a bigger city The owner immediately told us we could hang out around there-outside because they don't allow pets there. So what could have been a turning point in a horrible night, just got worse. Thanks for NO help or sympathy to tourists who got stranded. We won't make that mistake in this small town again!

WE enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Sawmill Inn in Heber, AZ. Very friendly, helpful, and cordial service. We were asked if we needed anything else and were made to feel special.

This is a hidden gem! I love this hotel great staff clean large rooms. Located right next to the red onion restraunt. Continetisl breakfast included. They except pets and it's very affordable. I will defiantly make this a destination on my travels to and from Minnesota! Thank you for making us feel so comfortable.

Clean. Have very good service staff. Very good breakfast all I need it was egg &bacon English muffin.

The room was okay. Check in was efficient. I got bit by something in the middle of the night. I couldn't find whatever it was. They don't serve breakfast until 7 a. M. And I needed to be on the road at 6. The lobby was still locked, also, so I still don't have my receipt.

It was right off the 260 so it was easy to find. The rooms were clean and nice. The comp. Breakfast was good. Lots of outdoor activites to drive too. For the price, it was all fairly nice.

Clean, very nice. The manager only had a smoking room available with two queens, but did his best by spraying the room with air freshener and apologized for only having a smoking room available. I needed a handicapped, non smoking but it was a very busy weekend. We were able to park in front of our room which was very nice and it was on the first floor, and for being a smoking room it really wasn't that bad after all.

More attention to detail needed when cleaning (found long red hair in sink, dirty Tub/shower, dirty coffee maker. Beds were too soft for our liking, not enough support, my husband and I both woke up with a back ache. Decor was nice and the room had nice guest amenities.

Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great. I'd definitely come again and recommend.

A great clean place to stay, good variety of breakfast, nice staff. Enjoyed.

The hotel persons were very nice, however the room rates were xtremly high. Rooms were pretty standard kind of like motel 6. We should have gone a little further to showlow. 100bucks was not justified. I think they take advantage because it's a small town. 1/2 hr more to showlow is what I recommend and lots of places to eat.

I found an earplug under the bed. Gross. And they ran out of waffle mix in the morning. Other than that decent place to crash if you need a bed. The mattress and pillows were comfortable.

Clean rooms and very friendly staff. Had the continental breakfast and when the waffle batter ran out, I notified an employee about it and they refilled it quickly. Happy with my stay.

Came up from Phoenix this weekend on our motorcycle. The guys at the front desk were so nice. They offered to take us and drive us to a restaurant last night so we didn't have to ride in the cold. Gave us a ride down to the red onion restaurant last night so we could have a few drinks and a nice supper and then came and picked us up and gave us a ride back to the hotel. Can't say how much we appreciate the fact that they've been so nice to us. Great place to stay!

We are on our way to move to Colorado & decided to stop here since it was midnight. So happy room a room was available for all 6 of us & our 2 dogs. The gentleman at the front desk was very sweet & helpful. Thanks for the military discount & being so kind. If we ever come back this way this will be our stop! I might add it was very clean & comfortable:)

Great place, as soon as I entered the hotel I was greeted with a smile. Room was very clean, Bed was very comfortable and it included a continental breakfast. But the hotel had" Hot Breakfast" being served in the morning took me by surprise. Good eggs and waffles. "Dave was very friendly and always wanting to help.

We had 4 rooms. 2 of the doors had to be slammed to close and yanked to open. Service was decent, not very professional but not necessarily bad.

Super clean, owners are awesome, friendly, and were happy to shuttle us in their very nice vehicle. Recommended.

After making reservations a month before my daughters wedding for two rooms for two nights I decided to call a few days a head of time just to ask a couple of questions about the rooms when I found out that I had NO reservations! They were able to get two rooms on the first night but told me I would have to wait till the following afternoon to evening to see if there would be a cancellation, WHAT!, I don't think so… Now this was over Labor Day Weekend. Seriously? I did become MOMZILLOW… I cancelled the Friday night stay and found another place to stay. Nope, I would never try to stay here again!

Had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent. They went above and beyond the "call of duty" to take care of my needs and to assist me in pursuing my activities in the area. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone needing accommodations in the Heber/Overgaard area.

We stay at the Best Western Sawmill Inn every time we stay in Heber-Overgaard! We love the area, it's beautiful, the hotel is a gem! The service is one of a kind, run by the nicest family. I can't speak highly enough of them.
