I liked the retro feel of the hotel and the staff was friendly. The room was a little janky though and the fridge made a ton of noise all night.

Very disappointed with my stay. First I was charged $89, perhaps because I have a dog. Room was nasty, TV from 1980 and if I want volume up or down I had to get up and manually do it. Everything around was very well used. Head board went down after I lean my head against. No water pressure in the shower and toilet. After I left I was informed that I was charged extra $25 because I soiled the sheet with 3 drops of blood because my leg dressing come off while I was sleeping. Owner hungry for every dollar he can get. Historic or not it is a dump.

Cute place. Stayed one night. Owners are very kind and willing to assist in making the stay comfortable. Keep in mind when staying here that it is a small town, and the hotel is a bit older than your typical "big name" hotel, but that's what gives the place character.

Supper clean! Good breakfest, very quiet! The owners are German and very friendly. Rooms are very interesting decorated with route 66 decor.

Ok. For the price, in a Rte. 66 town it's not bad. It's straight out of the 70's inside. Very old interior. Kitchy, let's say. We were worried about bed cleanliness. Checked for issues and found nothing. New mattresses actually. The guy in the office was very nice. Perfect for sleep and go.

Nice and clean. The lady in the office was very friendly and recommended a restaurant right down the street called Westside Lilos Cafe. Wish we had more time to explore this cute little town.

It was Good but not the best. I will give 2 star to the services.

Stood here last minute, friendly staff. Husband and wife team. This is the second year we stayed here. Friday prices were $81.00 Remember rooms are dated but the whole town is made to be this way as shown in the movie cars.

Extremely polite and always smiling, even at 4:00 a. M when woken up. Cozy, clean, and affordable little units too! If you're passing through, looming for a place to rest, I highly recommend this one!

This motel when you look at it, the question arises: "Is it still active? ". Answer, well ûr that yes but there you are in another time, a real American motel of the Mother Road. It has a mural that is beautiful with the American flag, the Eagle and the 66 road.

We stay there for 2 days. They are very friendly and customer service is excellent. Rooms were clean, they knew the area really well. Guide us to do nearby tours. We had a great time. Felt like staying with family.

First of all, check-in process was very friendly and accommodating. It was a clean and a cozy room. We had a king size bed, and it was very comfortable. We had a much needed good night sleep after a long drive from Los Angeles, CA. The bathroom was also very clean. There were a mini fridge and a microwave in the room as well. It was very quiet at night. Walking distance to restaurants and gift shops. Excellent spot a midst the Route 66. Pleasurable experience for a very descent price. We definitely will stay here again.

I loved this place so much. The room was pretty big, the bathroom was a bit cramped but not to the point of being uncomfortable, and it was so affordable. The staff was so kind and caring. Parking is a bit tricky but that wasn't an issue for us. Small town on Route 66, the entire environment is just so pleasant. I felt like I belonged there, not that I was a tourist going to see the Grand Canyon. Absolutely wonderful. I will definitely be returning on my next venture through Arizona.

Great room. Me and Mya daughter got stuck out there and the management was so helpful. Will definitely go there again. Everything was clean and fresh towels.

Awesome! The room and bathroom was very spacious for $52 (incl. Tax, /02/28/16). Queen bed with 4ft fridge. Very friendly owners, who likes traveling too.

Going to the Grand Canyon, this place was only 90 minutes away, so we stopped, very nice place, not the highest quality, but they let our family of 4 share a double bed room for only $69 a night, fridge and small microwave included, the best thing was the wall heater was awesome! Outside it was below freezing, but inside was toasty. Very satisfied, less than $20 a person for us!

Very nice rooms … Comfortable Bed and Bedroom … Clean … Direct Tv … Beautiful Couple who own and operate this incredible Motel and piece of History along Historic Route 66 in Seligman, AZ … Not only did the Family take me in at 3:00 AM after I broke down on the Highway … They gave me great advice about where to get good quality food for a fair price … Lilos Westside Cafe offered a 10% discount if you show your Room Key for the Romney Motel … The food was very good with healthy portions … Capped off with a slice of Banana Cream Pie … I stayed two days and truely enjoyed two relaxing nights watching Direct Tv in my room at the Romney Motel … I felt Blessed to have broke down on the Highway and stumble upon a Jewel along Historic Route 66 … There is plenty to do nearby but I was not with my family so my focus and fund's were in getting Home mode … I would Highly recommend the Romney Motel … Lilos Westside Cafe and the town of Seligman, AZ.

We had a great time, my boys love this place. This town ans Hotel is fun for kids. This is Cars movie town. We had a blast time.

For the price, was a really good deal. Comfy bed, clean shower with hot water, friendly staff. Only complaints were they forgot to put towels in our room, and I did see one small roach on the floor in the room.

I wasn't sure from the looks of the outside, but the desk man was very friendly and the place was very clean. Awesome in the heart of historic Rt. 66.

I really hate to give such a bad review because the manager is the nicest man you could possibly hope for, but the room was horrible. The shower kinda worked but I found a tick on the floor in front of the tub. The toilet paper was 2 ply but each ply was coming off the other. The metal spring beds weren't comfortable. The pillows, of which there were only 2 per bed, were lumpy and hard. If you want to watch tv, they do have cable, but the TV is and old 18" tube tv. Other than that the room was pretty good. It had a gas furnace that got the room nice and toasty, it had a working microwave and mini fridge, the lights all worked and were bright enough, the door locked, and the coffee in the morning was good.

Really worth it for the price. The owner is very nice.

If you are stoping in Seligam Arizona on your road trip the Romney Motel is a well suited classic motel to stay the night at. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the TV has "Direct TV" Service, and the Motel Service is AMAZING. The Rooms also include Free Wifi, a Microwave, and a Refrigerator. The owners (Sandy and Rex) are great down to earth people who just want to give you a great experience in Seligman and a satisfactory stay at the Romney. The Motel is conveniently located in the center of the town so everything is in walking distance and is located across from the Discount Food Market where free ice is available to guests of the Romney. During our stay at the Romney Sandy (the owner) let us leave an our later than the check out time to give us extra time to get ready for our big day ahead of us and gave us great service with a great attitude.
