Amazing! Fred and Janet made our stay memorable with homemade breakfast and aurora borealis “wake up” calls. Strongly recommend.

We were there Dec 8 — 13, 2021 and had a great time! Janet and Fred are wonderful hosts and so knowledgeable. They will pretty much manage your tour for you (did not know this when I booked). Breakfasts were good, we only had lights 2 out of 5 nights, but so nice to be awakened and not be out in a van searching for the lights. We will go back! Highly recommend! Thank you Janet, Fred and Nina! You made our trip!

We booked a room fir the first week of March 2021. We cancelled mid February, before the deadline to cancel. We are still waiting on our $800 plus refund. My husband has called several times and spoken with them. The only response we get is that things are right right now.

My family and I stayed here for three nights this past Christmas 2020. The welcome by Roy and Denisse made us feel like family members “coming home” for the holidays. Denisse’s breakfasts were made with love! We always left the table very stuffed and satisfied. Janet’s awesome tracking (and regular updates) of the Northern Lights were greatly appreciated. And the long chats about Alaska/Fairbanks history were very educational. We highly recommend this place! Thanks again, Janet, Roy, and Denisse. Until we meet again. Great place to see the northern lights and great breakfast.

We booked a stay last minute and the host was very accommodating. Guests and hosts were friendly, the property was well kept and beautiful. Rooms were well decorated and have private bathrooms. I would go back in a heart beat.

Nice, cozy, laid back, in the woods close to town.

5 star quality with very friendly staff and wonderful cozy appeal, very pleased with hospitality and courteous owner. Breakfast was always a warm appetizing delight! Already booked for next year.

Great B&B. Went for the Aurora Borealis and made some great friends from all over the world doing the same! Good food and accommodations and an active environment when chasing the Aurora all night long! Great management team that is very helpful in recommending things to do in the area.

Great bed and breakfast with good food. Friendly animals throughout lodge to keep you company as you wait for the lights.

We stayed for a week last summer… loved the lodge, setting and the staff… would definitely do it again.

I will stay at grizzly lodge without hesitation when I go to fairbanks again. Friendly staffs, nice aurora in my room and terrace, great foods. Perfect.

This place is so comfortable that is hard to leave. Friendly staff makes all the difference. This is "home" away from home for aurora chasers for sure. Would like to come back in a heart beat!
