The hotel I was staying, which is named Comfort Inn, said that they were going to be moving furniture in the morning about five and it shouldn't affect us except for a little noise. They handed me a paper stating so so I read it and I said okay. The next morning I got woken up by the sound of furniture being moved from the room above me about 5 o'clock. I ignored it and went back to sleep. I got woken up again at 5:30 by somebody pounding on my door. I got up and there was nobody there so I went back to bed. About 10 to 15 minutes later I get a phone call and it's the Hotel manager. She tells me that I need to leave my room so they could move furniture in and out of it. I told her that I was still sleeping and there was nothing said about me about leaving the room early in the morning. I also mentioned to her that I had rented the room and I should have it in until 11 o'clock. I then hung up on her. Two minutes later there were a lot of people outside my door making lots of noise so I could not go back to sleep. I then got up and packed my bags. After a few minutes I stormed out of my room, pissed because I got woken up early. I went to the front desk. I proceeded to tell the ladies at the front desk how unhappy I was and asked them not to charge me for the night and it was rude of them. A man from the back room came out and asked me what he could do for me. I told him I would like to get refunded the money that was spent on this room because I was rudely woken up early and not informed about it. Of course I added a few colorful words in my response. The man told the person behind the desk to call the police. I proceeded to ask him why are you calling the police? He then again instructed the person behind the desk to please call the police. At this point I was seeing red and really didn't know what to do. So I told The man to go ahead and call the police and then I called him a jackass. I then stepped outside with my things and waited for the police. After 10 minutes I realized that the police were not coming so I left the hotel. In all my times in the past 30 years I have never been treated so poorly by any hotel. And I have stayed in some piss poor hotels but never treated badly as I did this morning. When I got to the job site, there were a few contractors that were staying at the same hotel, they told me that they were woken up also and was not happy about it. All I know is I never want to stay at a Comfort Inn ever again.
