Great Hotel, friendly night staff… the rooms were clean and we had no problems… I recommend this hotel when you're in Alabama. It's only like 15 minutes from Fort Rucker… Loved it 4 stars…

The manager is not particularly helpful. There was a bed bug in my room, and the front desk staff was great. He captured it, and put me in another hotel at 2am. The manager did not call me the next morning to discuss so I spoke to the hotel owner the next day. She was supposed to call me back and did not. Hilton corporate ended up offering to take care of me since the franchisee was negligent in handling their own issue. They have smoking rooms in the hotel so that is gross. I recommend finding a different place to stay if you are visiting Ft. Rucker. Update: The hotel still charged me for a room that had bed bugs from which I had to be evacuated in the middle of the night, and they didn't call me back at all on the problem.

Hilton and the quality they give is why it is getting three starts. But the staff here is rude. I have a headache from all the sprays they have used. The elevator had dirt on the walls that stayed there the whole three days when I got in the elevator with a cleaning lady I was like you might want to clean that area and she was like I clean that all the time I don’t need to clean that now lol. Talked with the general manager about how cold it is in the hotel she was like I have no control over that and your the only one complaining. I then told her of others mentioning it during breakfast. She said they did not come complain to her so not her problem. She was rude and unexcepting of me just wanting to help benefit her in anyway. She called me at 7 am in the middle of my stay to tell me to come and put a different card on my account. I asked her if she had my information in being a Gold member and she was like none of that matters people rip us off all the time. So stay here Hampton inn hotel and standard breakfast. But non of the employees where the normal Hampton Inn service people I have come to expect from Hilton and the GM was down right rude.

Excellent staff even better facilities. Rooms always clean. Friendly staff always there to answer you and serve. Convenient to stores and restaurants. Quiet. I'll stay every visit at Hampton.

The suite was large and accommodating, the two queen beds were comfortable and the air conditioner kept the room at a steady temperature. Everything was clean. The check-in and check-out process was quick and painless. The provided breakfast was nothing to write home about, but good enough. All in all we would say here again and probably will next summer on our way down to our yearly destination.

We stay here about once a year on our way to the beach. This hotel is always clean, friendly staff and good breakfast. No complaints!

Awful! There was no one at the front desk when we arrived. We knocked on the office doors. Nothing. Finally called the hotel, and someone showed up. The sheets were clean but the rest of the room (carpet, bathroom) we're filthy. It looks like they started to remodel, but never actually did it. Would never stay there again.

The stay was ok but it was annoying that when I showed up about 90 minutes early I waited at the front desk for about 10 minutes before the desk clerk finally showed up and my room wasn't ready… not just my room… any room. I had to wait until 3 to check in. There was an empty parking lot too. Somehow I doubt they cleaned each room in that 90 minutes. Really just felt like they were busy doing something else and didn't want to deal with a guest at that point.

The good. Beds are comfortable. Sheets and towels are clean and staff is Alabama friendly. (That’s a complement) Two bad things — I couldn’t check in early. The mirror in the room appears to have mold growing on it — This is Ozark Ala, and this is a great hotel for this location. This Hampton met my expectations for this small town living.

Great place to stay while on the road. The people are nice and professional. The breakfast are hot and on time. It start at 6 am on both weekdays and weekend's.

On of the nicest well-maintained rooms I have been in. Wonderful business room. Complimentary breakfast. Temperature easily maintained. Rooms well sound regulated. Kitchen, sitting room, very large study desl area. Lighting well designed. Bathroom and sink well stocked. Several amenities provided. Cordial staff. Well-kept grounds.

Always a great place to stay. Rather new with a friendly staff. Plenty out at breakfast and coffee all day long.

I wasn't expecting much but it was really a very nice hotel, the people running seem to take real pride in their hotel. The room and the hotel were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was worth getting up for. Kudos!

Hampton Inn is always a good bet when looking for a place to stay. From spaciously comfortable rooms to great service, excellent family gathering areas and excellent breakfast buffet, starting at Hampton Inn Ozark is a definite most do for those traveling through the area. First let me say I've been staying here monthly for the past three years and have always had excellent experiences with the staff I've dealt with. This has now all changed! I found bed bugs in my room and when I told the front desk it was dealt with quick and I was given a new room.
Since then an experience with the manager here has completely changed my opinion and I will never stay here again.
Nothing like being called a liar that made it all up by the extremely rude Ozark, AL Hampton Inn manager! If this is the kind of rude people running Hilton Hotels, I guess it's time to move on to a competitor!

So I stay in Hilton branded properties many, many times a year. So much in fact, that when I signed up, I made Diamond status in about 11 months. My family and I are staying here this week waiting for my Aunt to die in a nearby hospital. Some of us were sleeping during the day as other were sleeping at night making sure that she had family with her 24 a day. Staff interrupted the daytime sleepers multiple one day, even with the "Do not disturb" placards displayed (though one was hung after the first two interruptions). The third interruption to my female cousin was a maintenance man entering her room WITHOUT KNOCKING. When this information was brought to the attention of the assistant manager, he readily began to make excuses and dismissed my 22 year old sons complaints. Mind you, while my son was talking to him, other guests were on hand to complain about unauthorized room entries as well. Later, I attempted via telephone to talk to the GM. She refused to take my calls even though the front desk told me she was in the office and that I was asking to talk to her. I called the Diamond line to complain, while I waited on the phone, she attempted to talk to the GM four times. She never got through finally leaving a message that the GM finally responded to about 5 hours later. Part 2. The GM called me and within seconds, she began loud talking, cutting me off, accusing me of lying, and then yelling at me sporadically.

They are very awesome people. They take care of you in everyway. Good choices for breakfast. Coffee, tea, and hot cocoa are always available. Clean nice rooms. Can't say enough about these wonderful people.

Horrible experience. Diamond member, booked nonsmokkng room days in advance. Arrived at 930pm, checked in and entered my room. Reeked of cig smoke. Ashtray and book of matches on desk, didnt even know was legal anylknger. Called front desk they said they couldnt change my room due to being full. She could say anything but sorry when I asked why if my reservation was for nonsmokjng room was one not reserved, a d if my nonsmokjng room was given way did they not notify me prior to my arrival. Will not stay at this Hampton again. I will stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Dothan for now on! I smelled like cig smome all day, my luggage and laptop bag need a cleaning due to the smell…

Smoking rooms? Not happy at all, booked my room via my company travel website, nonsmoking room on Monday. Arrived at 930pm on Wednesday, entered my room and the smell of cigarettes. Ashtray and book of matches on desk. Checked my reservation and clerk said sorry were are completely full she cant change my room. Not even a courtesy call to let me know, and heck no not a word when I checked in. Diamond member very unhappy! So much for the 100% guarantee sign at the front desk. Too late to drive to another room and within the cancel without fee… Will not stay here again, will stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Dothan during my monthly trips here for now on.

The beds and room were clean and no complaints. One of the days we didn’t have breakfast because they washed the room and so didn’t serve it. Other than that a pleasant experience.

It's what you'd expect. No hidden gem here. Just a decent hotel.

Our room bathroom had mold. When we told the front desk the young lady wiped some of it down and said it wasn't mold, it was dirt. But… she still didn't clean all the "dirt". The room was very dusty, unkept and old coffee filter from previous guest still in coffee maker. For the price we paid we at least expected to get a clean room. So sad. Thumbs down!

We all had a very pleasant stay. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good quality. The only complaint that I had is because of the time we checked in they wouldnt give us our AAA discount. We were told that after so many rooms were filled that their computer system overides and won't allow any discounts. We don't stay in motels/hotels too often however, it didn't seem right that they give the discount but seem to pick and choose when they honor it.

We were there for four nights and everything was great. Felt like we were treated like family. Very courteous staff. Comfortable beds and clean. Came back thru on our return trip for one more night. Well worth the cost.

Has a great continental breakfast with a fresh, varied spread. Also has a lot of showtime channels that makes it easy to find something to watch at night. Front desk is very helpful.

BLOOD STAINS ON SHEETS NO JOKE! I waited awhile before leaving this review because I wanted to give the management time to contact me I've sent emails and left several voicemails. I stayed here because it was close to the base that my daughter was graduating from. We took my daughter out to dinner came back took a shower pulled back the sheets to find the bed had fresh blood stains. I called the front desk and asked for a manager the manager was shocked and said that she thought they changed the sheets. The stain was so bad she had to remove all the bedding on the bed. I asked if she'd changed both beds she did not. Beware the don't change the sheets and I'm sure we didn't have fresh towels either. NEVER AGAIN! Also manager refused to take me calls.

Room was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast had a lot of options. We stay here on our way down from Tennessee to PCB and on the return trip and have loved it every year. Will continue to make this our rest stop.

Nice, what you expect from a Hampton Inn. They did mess up my bill, charged me for 4 nights instead of 3. Then they reprinted the receipt, however it showed 2 of the 3 nights on the same day.

Great place to stay if you are in the Ozark area — the staff is great and the rooms are always up to the Hampton Inn standards. A great stop off place that is conveniently located right on Highway 231.

However, I believe this to be a special situation that needs to be brought to your attention. The chain of events — — Sometime prior to February 12, 2015 the reunion committee of the 48th Assault Helicopter Company contracted with the Hampton Inn in Ozark, Alabama to hold a reunion from November 5 through 8, 2015 and honor our fallen brothers with a monument to be dedicated at Veterans' Park at Fort Rucker. In an email dated February 12, 2015 the committee informed our group that reservations should be made early because there was a limited amount of space available at the main facility and the overflow would be directed to the Microtel in Ozark. In addition, they noted: "EVENT RATES will be honored two days prior and two days after event dates, BUT be sure to tell the reservation clerk that this rate is being extended to those dates as well, (the rate has to be manually entered). " On March 7 we called for reservations. At that time we reserved a room with a king size bed for the dates November 5 through 8 (Confirmation — — The confirmation information was received by email). We were told that the "event rate" would not be honored prior to November 5. Consequently we made a reservation at the Microtel for the preceding night.

This Hampton is one of the best you will EVER stay in! From the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out, the staff were AWESOME! Our room was GREAT AND VERY CLEAN! The breakfast they have is truely the BEST you'll ever find at a Hampton. The outdoor pool was nice too. It was small but in a good way. The only thing about it was it didn't look like it was very clean bc it had leaves all in it but I could understand that bc it was in the middle of the summer when I was there. Also, there were a couple of wasp's nest by the fence but the staff took care of that right away. By far, this Hampton is one of the best Hampton's you'll ever stay in. Also, if your hungry, there is a zaxby's right down the road too and let me tell you now, the staff in there were as nice as zaxby's staff can be. Probably the friendliest people I've seen inside a zaxby's. So what more can u ask for? Zax sauce to fill u up and then a warm welcoming hotel, I wouldnt ask for much more. That's for sure.
