Good breakfast and very good service.

After driving in from Houston, I was exhausted. The bed was so comfortable I fell fast asleep. Only a few conplaints:
1. Washcloth was stained.
2. Bagel at the free breakfast was stale and smelled moldy.
3. The table I sat at was dirty.

Stayed here last night and thought it was fabulous! The kind Lady greeted us at the desk after a long day of driving and made us feel so welcome. She was very accommodating and so kind and helpful. The facility has recently been renovated and was very clean and fresh. We will be back!

All of the staff have been very nice. The pool is well maintained, Wi-Fi is fast, nice large swivel TV and the complimentary breakfast is superb. I can't say enough about how great of a stay this was. We would highly recommend this location to anyone.

We stopped in Daphne for a quick 1 night rest on the way home to Louisiana from Florida. We arrived around 10pm and both of our young boys were so sleepy; Ms. Debra was so very helpful and kind. The room was extremely clean and well kept; same goes for the bathroom. The breakfast was yummy and the hostess made sure everything stayed stocked. Overall, we had a great experience! 2 thumbs up!

Despite the hotel undergoing renovations to their lobby area, the hotel room was wonderful and clean. The staff were extremely friendly. We will definitely stay here again. The location CANNOT be beaten!

I travel for a living and have been happy with holiday inn express until now… Daphne. I was woke up in the middle of the night about a noise complaint? Well I was sleeping, so I called back to complain about being woke up and the staff, who called me was knocked on my door to tell me I was too loud in calling the front desk in frustration? Never again, worst experience ever in regards to staff. I can't give a low enough rating, beware. Other than that clean.

Great price and location. We were right off a main strip that had several dining options and was close to the interstate. Breakfast was hot and had variety. Room was clean. Cookies at the front desk in the afternoon and a friendly staff.

The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful All in all a very good experience.

Seven family members needed to travel to Bay Minette, AL for a funeral recently. The offerings in Bay Minette were iffy, so we chose to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Spanish Fort/Daphne. Although several miles from where we needed to be, the hotel was easily accessible. My husband was able to make the reservations online and prepaid for the rooms. I have never had a smoother check-in! I presented my driver's license and by the time I had signed the paperwork with my car tag, I was handed three key packets each containing two key cards (no question about needing a second key). The room numbers were written inside as well as a code as to the design of the room: KS-King Suite, K-King, and 2Q-two queen beds. This small gesture made it so easy to distribute the keys to the appropriate family member. Also included was the Wi-Fi password — no need to ask! The staff was extremely polite and informative about the location of the elevators, ice and the all-important full breakfast in the morning. All three rooms were sufficiently chilled when we entered. In the King Suite, there was a couch (I did not check to see if it folded out) and table, and a king bed. There was also a microwave and small refrigerator. The room is open — there is no wall, not even a half wall between the "living room" and the "bedroom. " This did not concern me. There was a double set of roll-up blinds so that you could have total darkness or let the light in while still maintaining privacy.

We arrived about 9:45 p. M. We took a few hours to get comfortable and unwind from the 4 1/2 hr drive. I had just took my 3 yr old son and myself a bath to discover shortly after the bed had bugs in it. I took pictures and ask the clerk to come up but she refused. I told her I believe it to be bed bugs. The hotel was completely booked for the night. Therefore, we had no where to stay. The clerk offered to pay our first night and have our clothes cleaned but after 45 minutes waiting for her manager to call back ; we only offered a full refund of our reservation with out any fees and that was it. It was a holiday weekend and they could careless if we had another place to stay. We barely got the room we had. This was absolutely horrible. I would not stay here or another Holiday Inn after this experience. I am still waiting to see what they are going to do about this. Going on day 5 without a response from the owner/ general manager.

So we checked in tonight about 9:45p. M. After almost 4 1/2 hr drive, all we wantes to do is relax. Well guess what we took baths got ready for bed and what do we discover bed bugs. On both beds. Contacted front desk and the manager would not comp our first night to stay somewhere else. We were told they would refund our money with no fees and that was it. We were basically put out to find somewhere to stay doing labor day weekend. My 3yr old son was laying down in the infested bed may I add. We finally found somewhere to stay at 1:30 a. M. I am infuriated.

Room was nice and comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. And the morning breakfast was very well prepared with a nice variety of food to choose from. I would say that the only down side was that all the hallways had the smell of body odor. And that there were no exhaust fans in the bathrooms.

I visited your location in Daphne Alabama and the service was awesome! My wife and I celebrated our 27th year of marriage and we enjoyed the breakfast, the pool, the workout room and Steven the front desk gave great advice. I would rate this location 5 out of 5 STARS.

Pool was a disappointment but the shower was really good as with all the holiday inn expess's that I've been to. The breakfast was very good and the front desk person was wonderful. Just wish they offered the pool that was in the picture that was shown at their website for this location. We've been to Inn's that have the type of pools they advertised and have Jacuzzis also. We were really looking forward to swimming. The pool is so small, I doubt we could even have swam if we could have fit in it with the thirty people that were already there. It was mostly children which were having a great time. It is a good pool for grade school kids if you have them.

Called late at night tired from being on the road… Patricia was pleasant and helpful. Great shower, comfortable bed and nice variety at breakfast with a helpful staff. Definitely would recommend.

The front desk couldn't find my reservation, someone else had already been checked in with my info. I had already prepaid and they asked for payment, then they asked me which phone number is better. The other phone number they had was from a different state. I will be watching my credit card statement for excess charges. The room was fine but it was newly renovated so it smelled like carpet glue and paint fumes on the entire floor. Once we got in the room we didn't notice the odor much. It was in a nice location and easy to get in and out of. If not for the check in mess I would recommend it. Won't be staying here again.

Pretty clean and comfortable environment. Hotel staff was friendly and Continental breakfast was of a good quality.

Great breakfast, great location. I got a good night's sleep and that's what matters the most. It was a good price for the location and the rewards points are a nice bonus. I liked the TV, easy channel surfing with their system. The only negatives were a hard mattress and a funny smell in the hallway. Since I slept well, I can overlook the mattress.

Comfortable bed and quiet night sleep if you are on the road.

The reservation had my name misspelled that they never changed when asked. They check me out of the room & turned off my keys to room before we were supposed to be check out. We received two wake up calls at 3:37 & 3:42 am on Saturday night.

Nice clean hotel. A lot of places to eat. Was traveling last spring and stopped here for the night. They were nice enough to let me park my truck and U-Haul car trailer there. They don't like trailers and my only neg about it was parking. Need more spots. Very friendly staff and the free breakfast was nice.
