Replace this run by an Indian family, that struggle with English slightly. The place was very clean and seemed to be well-maintained, it is an old-style mom-and-pop motel. They served a very modest breakfast but they're rates are good.

Nasty! NASTY! NASTY! Stained sheets wash clothes and towels! Bedbugs and after being seen at the er due to bite marks they also have bed lice Never stay here.

Just a place to sleep. Says free breakfast but there's only a couple of danishes and a small pot of coffee. Owner speaks NO English. No iron in room. One chair in a room for 4. Just kinda sketchy basically. Not worth the money we paid.

Great service, perfect size, cheap price, get what you pay for! Location perfect to interstate, banks, gas station, Dollardollars general, anything you need.

Stay clear! Owners nice. A charge for ice?.

Stayed here for 2 weeks in January 2017. Very clean, staff super friendly! Room was spacious and very comfortable. Very convenient to have microwave and fridge in room. Shower always had great pressure and hot water. Would definitely stay there again. Don't know about the pool because it was winter so it was closed but it was a good size. Great motel and priced very well.

Don't believe the five star reviews this place is a dump and 100 dollars a night. The owners and staff are extremely rude. Cleaning Towels are mixed with guess towels and are extremely dengy. Minus 5 stars. Less than zero.

Kinda of scary when you pull in. Reminded me of The Bates Motel. When we first got to the office to check in, the 2 people in the office could barley speak English, so they got the manager on the phone and he was up here right way. Rooms were out of date and smelled a bit, but nothing air freshner couldn't fix. Tv sucked and the pool was green. But, for $60 a day, why complain. You get what you paid for. But, all for all, it was ok. The manager and his mom was really nice. Would stay again if we was back this way.

For the price being 40 dollars under anything within 50 miles. It was great.

The rooms are small, but for $60 a night… that's not bad. The room smelled of straight smoke… I'm a smoker, but it was terrible. The beds are super hard and the pillows are terrible. Tv barley works. The bathroom wasn't so bad. I wouldn't stay here unless you absoutley need too.

Bad customer service, poor TV service, refrigerator wouldn't get cold. Dirty bathrooms with a broken vent.

Very clean and affordable. The staff was very nice. They made us feel like family. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were small and dirty and my dad wouldn't get another motel cause he's too cheap, this is the type of motel you see people getting killed in movies, I couldn't sleep the whole night.

Charged me $70 for a small, musty, cigarette smelling room and wouldn't move us to another nicer, better smelling room after complaining of the smell. Disappointed that I gave these people any money : (

It wasn't bad. After reading the reviews I was worried about staying here. The rooms have been remodeled, it was clean, the pool was very clean, and my wife was happy. We will stay here again if we are back in the area.

I think the previous reviewer's remarks were posted on the wrong web site. I live near the Royal Motel in Loxley, Alabama and there are no pecan orchards or streams nearby. It's a small L-shaped building located right on the highway in the middle of the city block and it looks more like a place for transients than a place to meet friends. I've never stayed there, but didn't want anyone to get the wrong impression from reading the other review.

Hello All, stayed there on a retreat and it is a lovely nice, quaint, romantic cottage situated amongst a large meadow with with a beautiful fresh water creek running along its brim. Large pecan orchard on one side and a lovely flowing farmland on the other. The staff was most splendid! with fresh fruit and wine each evening and even a chocolaty mint at turn down… heavenly! 5 stars for sure, will definitely stay upon my return! kudos to Leah my personal masseuse while there, her touch is most splendid!

Terrible place to spend the night. We showered when we got here and needed more towels for the next morning, when I tried to explain this to the manager he started yelling in what little english he knew "your story, your story! ". I had to show him each of the three towels we used then he gave me two more. This is not a friendly place, I slept with my gun under my pillow! Then we left as soon as possible.

3/9/2013 Just to make it short and sweet and plain and simple. This site would't post what I had to say in my first review of this motel. So what does that tell you? Do yourself a favor and sleep in your vehicle instead of even considering staying at this horrible place.

When you pay thirty five bucks for a hotel room how can you expect the place to be comparable to the Hilton, I mean come on you get a bed, towels, a shower, and a roof over your head, a tv, air conditioning, What else can you ask for. Its very economical, great way to have somewhere to stay for cheap so you can spend more money on eating out, and stimulating the local economy, Give this place a break, Your out of the elements, great bang for your buck.

They have sucked as a hotel and any local town business hate to ever be traded in same sentences. Green pool a decade ago can u imagine now nobody's been home.
