Tonight I checked into my room… So far it has been HORRIBLE. To start with I approached the front desk to be totally ignored! The night attendant was to busy on her cell phone to even noticed I was standing there. After I received my keys, I walked down the hall to enter my room after a long day of working and driving. The SMELL of the room was UNBELIEVABLE to say the least. I immediately brought it to the attendants attention. She told me sorry I can’t do anything about. I called 1-800-300-8800 choice hotels complaint and still no help. He advise me to bring it to the managers attention in the morning. I will NEVER stay here again! I would much rather stay at the Hampton or in my car. If only the Hampton had availability tonight. I would be out of here very FAST! Don’t ever book a room with this establishment if you’re looking for quality! I can’t wait to leave tomorrow!

Everyone is so nice and the rooms are clean and spacious.

Great place to stay. Modern updated rooms. Very clean. New comfortable mattresses. Nice outdoor pool. Wifi and Direct Tv, Free breakfast. Mini Coffee maker, fridge, microwave, iron and blow dryer in the rooms. Guest laundry available too. Friendly helpful staff who have an obsession with mopping the lobby It's spotless. I have zero complains. Enjoyed my stay here.

The rooms were clean and we'll supplied, bit there noticeable musty smell. It wasn't stong enough to be objectionable to me, but might be an issue for potential guests with allergies. The complimentary breakfast was nicely presented and kept well stocked by a very gracious hostess.

My family enjoyed our stay very clean and great breakfast sweet and helpful lady in breakfast room great check in and the best maid service clean room beds sleep great I will stay here again.

The visit was very good. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was also very helpful.

This place must have changed owners. I've been visiting for the past three years and the cigarette smoke was awful. It says no smoking everywhere, you even have to sign a no smoking waiver when you check in. We walked up stairs (no elevator) and it was awful. Our door had a sign "No smoking" yet there was an ashtray in our room! Stale cigarette smell came out of the A/C unit when we turned it on. Friendly staff though, the pillow was hard, we didn't sleep well, and the cigarette smoke was enough for me. I ain't staying here again! Done!

I have been staying here for several yrs. Today visit I immediately noticed a change. The room was clean but stunk with cigarettes and even had a ash tray in the room. I signed a waiver to not smoke. I requested a non smoking room. Where is the elevator? I have always stayed on the bottom floor. The staff are kind and room is clean. But I will look for somewhere else to stay on my next visit.

Clean and nice place for short-term stay. I stayed 5 day's was great.

Stayed there two days and that was more than enough. It's a smoking hotel which is already one thing, but when the whole second floor smells like marijuana and you can smell it in your room, that's different. When it was brought to the attention of the front desk they seemed like they could care less. Refused to do anything or say anything about it. They said they couldn't move us to a different room because they "were full". Which was a lie. Also they don't have an elevator and didn't offer to assist me in carrying my 6 month old, 3 year old and all of our bags up the stairs by myself. Staff was extremely rude and the accommodations were lacking. The only good thing was the breakfast, which you can get anywhere. Dont waste your time and money. Stay somewhere else.

But I hate it! Dogs barking constantly, Hollering and streaming at night. Even the cable constantly cuts in and out! Trashy people coming in and out all the time UGH! Someone was even hollering about crack! WOW! I'm from the south but have been living out west for the past few years this makes me remember why!

Clean, pleasant staff, nice rooms. Adequate breakfast.

The rooms are clean and staff is professional and efficient. My only real qualm is that they don't have an elevator. This posed a particular problem for us since we were traveling with an infant.

Very nice hotel. Even has a washer & dryer. Very nice employees and a quiet location!

Friendly, clean hotel, tasty breakfast but no healthful meat options, one roach seen but immediately responded to by staff for need to contract exterminator.

The room was clean and they serve hot breakfast until 9:30. We are escaping the hurricane and this was a comfy place to crash, the pillows are super fluffy. Quality Inns are usually a hit or miss but this little one is nice. They were serving breakfast with a smile, love that southern hospitality.

DONT STAY HERE!
The rooms are nasty and the staff is rude, they don't take constructive criticism very well and feel like if they give you a 10% discount that you should be satisfied. It's not about a discount it's about getting a clean room and good customer service.

I have been staying at this location for years now. Sam and Kim as well as the entire staff have been great to me. Unfortunately, it had new owners, along with new owners came upgrades, which some was needed but overall the property was great. The point I want to make in this review is that if it wasn't for the kind staff that I have become to know over the years, yes the rooms are very nice ans very clean but I would not stay here! I had a chance to see first hand how these girls (housekeeping) is treated and it is despicable to me! Out of all my years staying here I have never seen such rudeness, and again not by the staff members, I seen first hand a housekeeper being harassed about pulling dirty laundry. Right in front of a guest! Tiffany and Kim are whom I have mostly dealt with throughout my years of staying there and I honestly feel bad for all the staff members, American or not you do not treat people, especially people who work and try there hardest like this. Let me make myself clear to this situation, yes the place is nice and clean, breakfast is the best I've seen at any choice hotel, the costumer service from all the staff was excellent, but and there's always a but… you have to respect people and from what I've seen and overheard these wonderful ladies get none! Absolutely saddens me because these ladies have been at this place for at least 4 years because I have been coming for that long. I will say, ladies great job and keep up the good work.

The rooms were nice, bed comfortable. Facility looked like it had been recently remodeled. Would've given it 5stars except for the fact that there was no elevator to 2 nd floor to accommodate the disabled.

We have stayed in the past and it was nice but this time we stayed here it was pretty bad I think they switched owners or something they never changed the sheets my daughter had to sleep in her sleeping bag because her bed was nasty pee stains on the sheets, they didn't vacuum our room, the bathroom was nasty it had poop on the toilet seat, a dirt ring around the bath tub, hair in the sink.

A very professional and clean place. The staff is amazing.

The hospitality. There was beyond EXCELLENT. Very very nice. Curtious. Peaceful. The receptionist. That was there on Monday when I left was. Very nice she has a sister that works there as well named Heather. So overall I would definitely. Definately recommend this particularar hotel to anyone I know that travels to alabama to. The pictures on the website are very misleading. There was mold on the tables and nightstand in the room. We had a "non-smoking" room that smelt like an ashtray. Owner was very nice and understanding and provided a refund for the room.

Good service, person at front was very charismatic and overall good experience.

Not clean, smells of smoke. Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. No gym on-site. Gym pass for Anytime Fitness was lost. Check-in was a hassle because printer was broken — told to come back later.

Decent room for location and price.

Hotel was nice. I have two complaints though. 1. The bathtub and shower curtain were dirty. 2. One of the pillow cases was dirty. Other than that everything else was OK.

Stay away. This used to be a very nice hotel but since it changed from Holiday Inn to Quality Inn and management changed it has clearly going downhill. Recently stayed and my room did not have working cable, the bed spread had cigarette burns and a light had no lamp shade. If a hotel is not taking care of the most obvious and important things to travelers like TV it makes me only wonder how clean the sheets I slept on are.

I booked this hotel for an employee at our company for a business trip. His review is as follows… "It was clean and everything, but it just smelled like a cigarette in the room so bad that I bought Febreeze to cover it up and it didn't work. Then I went and bought a plug in air freshener and that helped mask it. Apparently at that hotel, nonsmoking rooms are an option. They had 2 ashtrays in a nonsmoking room. It made no sense. " I won't be booking this room again for company travel.

As a DIAMOND member, I live out of hotels due to my travels, and I see it all from the Good, Bad, and the Ugly. Overall this is a good hotel. I checked in to find that my remote wasn't working because it was the wrong one for that TV, I called down to the desk and the lady was very nice and came and solved the problem. The room was very clean. The beds are very hard, they need to put a softer topper on the bed to make it comfortable, but not a major issue. The price is good. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have 2 floors with NO elevator. So if the staris is hard on you, this may be a problem. I feel the staff will work it out for you to be on the bottom floor. I had serveral bags to carry to my room and they gave me a bottom floor so I wouldn't have to carry all of it up the stairs. Overall, a very Good job!
