My whole experience was great. Really friendly staff, clean, spacious and comfortable. The outdoor pool at night was so pretty. The hot tub wasn’t too hot so my kids got to enjoy. The boy/girl bunk beds were too cute. It’s pet friendly so you will hear dogs barking. Our room didn’t have a microwave or hairdryer which I thought was weird but no biggie. 10/10 recommend.

Stop taking money! I checked in on my Birthday, never even stayed in the reserved room, I was charge $351 before the day of checkin, cool but once arriving I was told I had to pay an extra $72… Really? Never refunded my money back, never stayed in the room, never saw the room, what a Birthday!

The staff and the accommodations were excellent. Couldn’t have enjoyed it more!

We decided to go to Orange Beach for our vacation. I booked our room at Hotel Indigo. This was a WONDERFUL decision. From the moment of check in (Julie and Tatiana were super friendly and efficient) our stay was great. Our pet-friendly room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. At checkout the gentleman was very friendly and efficient. When back in Orange Beach we will definitely choose Hotel Indigo!

So grateful for these exceptional people! (Bre & Alexis — for sure! For going above and beyond as far as making a nearly horrible night much much better) —-but also everyone encountered was just helpful, kind & courteous (and has been every stay! ) So appreciative & had a wonderful stay!

Love this place. Friendly greetings at the door from the amazing Alexis. She made friends with our daughter off the jump with a goody bag of treats. The hotel is immaculate, and gorgeous. Room was set on 68 and it was definitely not 68 degrees, it was super hot. The lady at the front desk named Alexis was very rude and not helpful. Don’t recommend.

My husband and I enjoyed an overnight stay here for a quick getaway. It was THE perfect spot! We enjoyed the nautical theme throughout, spacious rooms, outdoor hot-tub, nature trails close by, swings in lobby with beach & fishing pier not far off. A good for the soul type hotel—rare. 💚

This was way more than what I was expecting. The view was perfect. The bed slept great, pillows were a plus. Staff was courteous. Stayed during ida and was still impressed.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful hotel! The entire hotel is sparkling clean and the employees are very friendly. We stayed in a king suite on the 4th floor with a balcony facing the gulf. Everything was absolutely perfect. The attached coffee bar/restaurant is amazing too!

This hotel was wonderful. Clean and comfortable. Very helpful staff. We had the unfortunate experience of being there a few weeks ago when a horrible hail storm damaged every car in parking lots up and down orange beach. The staff went above and beyond to help everyone with cleanup and taping of vehicles. They started early Saturday morning after the hailstorm and were still vacuuming cars and taping windows that night. We had friends staying at multiple hotels in the area and we were the only ones who had any assistance from our hotel with dealing with car cleanup. Would recommend this hotel and their staff highly!

Dog friendly. They have treats and tennis balls in the lobby. Dogs aren’t allowed on the beach in Orange Beach and there is no beach access at the hotel… the only bad things.

We absolutely loved staying at the Hotel Indigo. It is a beautifully designed hotel with the friendliest staff! They were always so helpful and attentive to everything we needed. We loved our balcony view of the ocean and the beds were so comfy! We will definitely be staying here again next year!

An impressively clean hotel, amazing service from cleaners to front desk to manager. This Thanksgiving holiday week stay was a great experience after a very poor experience on Vrbo we had to leave. So thankful this hotel was in our path. Lastly, our dog was welcome. Worth the cost as they love their hotel pet family members and you don’t have to feel bad because a dog is barking in a room (that’s only heard in the halls based on our experience so no big deal). There was a nice short walk to a larger grassy area and that’s great for the owner and pet so that they get to stretch their legs.

Our room was lovely. My complaint was a $75.00 fee for our dog. No place to toilet her except rocks. Room on 3rd floor with pet.

What a great hotel! The staff is amazing and the property is beautiful. Not too far from the beach access and right in between OB and Gulf Shores. Don't forget to visit the coffee shop attached. Lots of quiet little places to sit and visit or read a book. We will definitely be back!

The rooms are very spacious, decorated tastefully modern. The pool area has tons of beautiful plants & flowers. Room service food was very good also. We will stay here again for sure!

Was charged 50 dollar hold per night. Why? Maybe for one night but for each night and I paid in full upfront. Hotel is short staffed, people waiting in line. Very frustrating!

We had a wonderful visit to Orange Beach back in August. My husband was in business meetings during the visit, but the people at Hotel Indigo made my visit very nice. They were so friendly and very helpful. The hotel was so nice. The rooms were beautiful. They were quick to take care of us with any questions. I think we definitely will be coming back to stay with them again. I enjoyed having the trails of the Gulf Park behind the hotel where I could do some photography. Thanks for the wonderful visit. :)

I had the privilege of staying at this hotel last week for 3 nights. I was immediately greeted at the front desk by a very kind and cheerful clerk who informed me that I had been upgraded to a king suite, which was a super-nice bonus. The lobby was hip and tastefully decorated and had a welcoming feel. Then when I opened the door and went in the room I was blown away at how nice a suite it was; again, very tastefully decorated and yet comfortable and welcoming. The next thing that impressed me was a personalized note welcoming me to the hotel, and a nice goody bag of coated pretzels — such an above-and-beyond thing to do in my somewhat limited travel experiences. The pool was super nice and I made daily use of the whirlpool too. My only criticism would be the lack of complimentary breakfast, and lack of direct beach access; otherwise I would have given 5 stars (I wanted to give 4 1/2 stars but didn't have that option). Thanks for contributing to an overall pleasant vacation experience!

My daughter and I ended up at Hotel Indigo when the condo we originally booked ended up being somewhere we did not want to stay. Many of the hotels in the area were booked solid. We definitely were pleased with the decision. Staff is very friendly. Extremely clean room, very comfortable beds, large TV, and the bathroom! Large, spotless, and a huge shower with a rain shower head. Cute little window seat looking toward the ocean. White sheets and comforters and pops of color everywhere. Indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, business center. This is pet-friendly hotel, but you couldn't tell there had been dogs here, it's so clean! Not beachfront, and you can't walk across the street for beach access because its private property. The hotel has a shuttle which will take you and pick you up from the public beach a mile or so up the road. There is also access to many miles of nature trail that is suitable for walking, jogging, or biking. We've found our new favorite place to stay!

LOVED everything about our stay here. Unfortunately it was storming our entire trip so we decided to search for a hotel with an indoor pool that was pet friendly but above all things, family friendly. This was the perfect find! Our king suite was humongous and so clean! Upon arrival, there was even a thank you card and treats waiting for us on the mattress. (Which was so comfortable btw) Both the indoor and outdoor pools were great. The little treats you can grab for your pups in the lobby are a nice touch :) By far the nicest hotel we’ve stayed at. Book here!

An absolutely amazing hotel. They are pretty friendly, and have balls and treats for your dogs in the lobby. The atmosphere itself when you walk in is wonderful. Very friendly staff and a great set up. The beds are incredible. First and foremost, from the huge bathrooms to the comfortable room, the best part is the beds. It's a great hotel.

OMG! What a wonderful place to stay. I cannot say enough good about this hotel, from the friendly atmosphere to the fantastic amenities. The hotel has two pools, (the one outside has a hot tub next to it) two lounging areas, meeting room, workout room, business center, shuttle to the beach, a coffee shop, and the absolute most pleasant staff ever. I definitely recommend The Hotel Indigo.

This is a very cool place. All the interior design is amazing and the rooms, while spacious, are cosy and very well cleaned. You can see the ocean out front and it’s a short drive to several public beaches, and they also have a complimentary shuttle to the beach. You also have access to a great bar and coffee shop w/o leaving the hotel.

Me and my husband had a great experience at this hotel. It was clean and attractive! The staff was helpful and friendly. It is connected to a great coffee shop. Our room was spacious and decorated in a very modern nautical style. This hotel offers a shuttle to the nearest public beach! This was so nice since we didn't have to pay for parking at the beach. They have an inside pool, a gorgeous outside pool, a hot tub, and a great outside bar! (They also have an inside bar) Our bartender made the best drinks while we were on vacation! Highly recommend this hotel!

The Indigo Hotel was beautiful place, the decor amazing, the service was great everyone was friendly. My room was very nicely decorated The only thing was the amenities in the room was not too good. The refrigerator was too small I couldn't even get a bottle of water to fit or my leftover dinner. No microwave, no safe no hair dryer, water pressure was very low. I hope that they improve these issues.

We came here during the week for a quick girls trip/beach get away. It's been perfect! It's right next to 2 very delicious restaurants, super close to several beach access points, and close to a bike rental. We brought 2 miniature schnauzers. Everything had been great with accommodations for the dogs (except the designated potty area is super small and the sprinklers turn on every evening). All staff has been awesome and the pool is incredible!

Huge bathroom, great size room. Stayed at a location in baton rouge and this was WAY BETTER. Our room here came with a sitting area/ desk as well as a comfy bench niche near the window. The view was great, price was acceptable. Room had a mini fridge and kurig but no microwave (I'm sure you could request one) The choice of sheets, pillows and comforters were great! Highly recommend bringing the family and your 4 legged friend under 40lbs too. There is a puppy station. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Will stay here again. Loved the style and cleanliness of this location. Cant wait to visit again. Thanks Indigo.

We had such a wonderful experience at Hotel Indigo — Orange Beach! Check in was quick and easy. The room was gorgeous, modern, and clean. The staff was so friendly and welcoming our entire stay. Melba served us our breakfast and she was so kind and entertaining. Most importantly, we always travel with my dachshund, and oftentimes we run into places that aren’t very pet friendly and give us a hard time about it. This hotel is not only pet friendly but pet WELCOMING! They have water bowls throughout the building for the doggos, a little treat table with snacks and balls for the puppies, and even a board with pictures of dogs that have stayed there. That means so much to someone who loves her dog (they’re part of the family, too! ) even though the specific location doesn’t have direct beach access, they offer an easy shuttle and it’s a quick drive to free parking for the beach. It’s close to all the popular areas of Orange Beach/Gulf Shores! We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!

We left this morning, spent a week at this great hotel. All employees were very nice and accommodating. Indoor pool is heated unlike most and outdoor hot tub is actually hot. We will stay here again when we return. Rooms are immaculate and very well decorated.

How can you not rate this place 5 star! So chic and inviting. The staff was awesome! The outdoor environment was so inviting! Even though it's across the road from the beach, who cares when you stay here! So relaxing and quite, I was able to sleep in every morning. I'll return for sure.

This is now one of my favorite hotels to stay in. The staff was awesome. Kids had fun. I would give it 6 stars if I could. I stay in a lot of hotels with my work and this one is out front of all the rest. The Manager was nice and friendly as well. Thanks Hotel Indigo for the great time and we will be back.

This is absolutely wonderful. Best INDIGO I've had the pleasure to stay at, truly it is pleasurable. Great, new, clean rooms, very well designed with room to move! Love, love, love … not a rookie traveler, discerning and fastidious… This is Good! Staff is good as well. Clean, New, Peaceful!

Stayed there twice as our Condo was having work done. This hotel is wonderful. Clean, fresh, friendly beyond belief. Rooms are huge and light with great beds and linens. It is pet friendly. Good bar, good food. Amenities are nice. We love it.

Very modern hotel. There are 2 reasons I don’t rate this place at 5 stars. 1) The walls are paper thin making it so you can hear everything that’s going on in the room next to you (in our case a baby crying! ) 2) I’ve stayed in many hotels from average to upscale, I have to say this place might have them all beat on overpriced drinks at the bar. 2 vodka tonics set me back $31 and that was for Tito’s. And YES $31 was BEFORE the t! p… other than that it’s a nice place and we enjoyed our stay & staff was very professional. Pictures are of a suite btw. PLEASE lower your prices at the bar!

Hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate us after being stiffed out of a condo that was paid for prior to arrival… drove from Michigan and late at night they got us right in to a room… staff is very pleasant and rooms are clean… would definitely stay again.

I previously wrote a review back around August stating my issue with Indigo Hotel. After writing the review I was notified by a representative that my issue would be resolved so I removed my review. Lets just say my issue is yet to be resolved with no communication or contact from IHG development or the general contractor Don Gordon construction. Since this appears to be the only way to get any attention, I feel the need to repost my review so here it goes. I represent a local granite company in Mobile, Al and I was awarded the contract to supply all of the countertops for this project. Since completing this project back in March I have yet to receive final payment amounting to $35, 402.57. The units have been renting since May. What pisses me off the most is the fact I was rushed and belittled to complete my scope of work in a timely fashion. Not only did I complete my scope of work in a timely fashion, I provided top notch quality craftsmanship. So here I am 8 months later and still no payment. The units have been renting for 7 months. Like I said in my previous review. The developers are from New York, accruing revenue since May, and have yet to pay the local hard working citizens that made this possible. Basically, they are making money off of our beautiful Gulf Beaches, hard work, and good faith with no regards for anyone but themselves. This review will stay up until I have a check in my hand. I'm sure I will be receiving a call after posting this message.

The staff is welcoming from the moment you walk in the door until you wave good bye. I'm so glad we chose this hotel. We needed a pet friendly hotel to stay at to attend a wedding. This was better than we could have ever expected. It's a beautiful boutique hotel. We had a large handicap access room for my husband on the first floor. The bathroom was perfect, some hotels say they have handicapped bathrooms but Hotel Indigo has a roll in shower with a pull down seat that has both a hand held and rain shower. Not to mention the roll under sink. Perfect! We had a huge sitting room and bedroom facing the park which was very quiet. My dog had a wonderful time. They apologized that the grass area was under construction but they didn't really need to. They have a fenced in area where you can let your dog off leash which right now resembles a beach and once my dog got used to it (about 5 minutes) she loved it. We were beside the gym across from the inside pool and couldn't hear any noise so the rooms are pretty soundproof. What a wonderful stay.

Beautiful hotel. Pet friendly which is why we chose it. The only bad thing was the call we received the morning of our check in. They did not have the water view suite that we has reserved. They said something about website screwing up. But we called them direct. Weeks ago. My husband made reservations here because we could get a water view balcony. We knew that we were going to be spending a lot of time in the room. This is to be our last road trip with our beloved dog who is dying of cancer. He loves road trips! I like to look at the water. My husband was trying to make the best of both worlds for all of us. Shame on Indigo. Oh they did give us a free breakfast for our troubles. Not worth having to look at a dead park. But if you don't care what your view is. It's a lovely hotel.

Wow, I am impressed. This place is definitely a must every year when I come into town. Right location, beautiful setting. Southern hospitality staff. Hotel decor and amenities are a great. If you are always on the road this is a hotel to enjoy and relax 1 night or few days. If you are on vacation or a couple weekend getaway. This is the Place as well.! The bedsheets are so soft. Thanks the whole staff awesome. I am happy. Special thanks to the Future Hotel Boss Mallory the best hotel receptionist I have ever met. So Natural, professional and courteous. Always smiling and trying to make your stay over the top. She is on her way to be a bright star in the hospitality industry. Don't let any negativity get to the pure.

We enjoyed our stay! Very friendly, nice staff. We were there three nights. The bed alone gets a five star rating (seriously who makes your mattresses and pillows? ) but I went down a star because you can hear a lot of noise in the room from the hall and other guests, and because there is no complimentary water or free breakfast like at most similar boutique hotels. Otherwise we liked it a lot. Love that there's no carpet (just area rug) in the room. Free access to beach, and a shuttle if you don't want to drive yourself. Nice pool area. Good view from our room even though it's not right on the beach. Cool access to the nature trails next to the hotel too!

We spent the weekend here and had an amazing stay! The staff was accommodating and personable, which made for a great experience. Felicia provided great bar service, from drinks to food recommendations! The rooms are spacious with nautical themes and pictures. The outdoor spaces was very nice, from the bar, sitting areas, spa and pool! This is not a huge hotel, so we didn’t feel like a number. Again, great experience.

I'm rating this hotel 0 stars. Why? Because I was a sub-contractor on this project and now 5 months later I have yet to be paid. I represent a local company and provided quality work. The developers are out of New York and refuse to pay the general contractor. These units have been renting and generating revenue for around 4 months. These New Yorkers are making money from the appeal of our beautiful Alabama beaches and have completely shafted the hard working locals that built this hotel.

Great location and I loved the atmosphere! Loved the color scheme of tourquoise and beach decor. Smelled just like Margaritaville resort in Biloxi… clean, coconut aroma. The bar makes a good Margarita ;) Indoor pool with outdoor pool under way. The rooms were very impressive. Huge walk in shower. The best housekeeping staff I have ever seen! The toilet seat was shining lol. Only downfall is there isn't beach access across the street due to private property. But the hotel provides a shuttle bus to the orange beach pavilion which is about 200 feet down the road. They also give u a free parking pass if u want to drive your own vehicle to the pavillion. Would definitely go back and recommend to others!

No prices on the food there, but you would never think $18. That's asinine. Almost $350 a night and this is what you do? The rooms were ok, not ready when we arrived though. No microwave and a fridge the size of the one I had in my college dorm sucked. I've had better experiences at the Quality Inn.

Staff is extremely friendly, I'm accustomed to more amenities like a laundry room, kitchenette with a sink and microwave. The inside pool is nice to escape the sun after long days on the beach. We thought it was on the beach side but it isn't.
