Nice hotel. Great location. Besides restaurants in walking distance. Mediocre breakfast. Friendly staff. We stayed for a fishing trip at Highland park. Definitely recommend that as well.

We always stay at the GuestHouse Inn in Abbeville on our way to the beach. Great rooms for a great price! Completly reccommend for anyone looking for a hotel.

We evacuated from Florida during hurricane Irma and stayed at GuestHouse Inn Abbeville for 5 days. The citizens of Abbeville brought us a hot meal every day and prayed for us. The owners and staff of the hotel worked very hard to make our stay there as comfortable as they could. The hotel was fully booked with other evacuees from the hurricane. I can't say enough positive things and I am so thankful we had stayed there during this difficult time.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Horrible horrible experience with this place. Drove to get out of the hurricane in FL drove over 13 hours to get to Abbeville Inn only to have our online reservation (mind you we had a confirmation # the whole 9) not be honored. They did nothing to help us they said "sorry no room we don't have to honor your confirmation # " It was terrible and so frustrating. Hope this place goes under.

Used to be a good hotel when it was Best Western, but now that it is under new ownership it is ABSOLUTELY AWEFUL! Holes in the walls, heater/air conditioning units are lethargic at best and neither heat or cool effectively. Hot water for the shower to nearly 20 minutes to get hot. Finally when we asked for a 2 hour later checkout (after staying in the hotel for multiple days) we were told that there would be an additional charge. I guess there is a reason this hotel is not as full as it used to be. New ownership stinks and takes no pride in their establishment. Thankfully, MUCH BETTER OPTIONS ARE JUST A FEW MILES UP THE ROAD as I will not be staying here again.

Stayed at the Best Western a couple of times. Was very good! I recommend the jacuzzi room and the staff were good aswell. Definately recommend.

I have to say I will never make the mistake of even considering this hotel again. There are just too many other choices. We frequently visit Dothan, AL and the surrounding area. We have been loyal Best Western customers for many years and have been very pleased with the hotel in Dothan. However, on a recent drive from Dothan to Eufala, we noticed the Best Western in Abbeville. We decided that our next visit would include staying at that hotel. I booked a reservation for the Labor Day week when it looked like Gustav likely would not affect the area. Today, it looks likely that Gustav will cause tropical storm and heavy thunderstorm conditions for the area. Not much relaxation/vacation to that, so I called to cancel. The man at the desk (an obvious middle-easterner, if you happen to call) told me I was too late and that he would have to charge me anyway. It was not made clear to me that there would be any deviation from the typical 24 hour cancellation deadline when I made the reservation. In fact, this hotel normally has a 23 hour deadline. Anyhow, he got very threatening when I challenged his authority to charge my credit card. He claimed if I didn't cooperate, he would charge two nights — — that if I wanted a fight he would give it to me. It then became clear what his problem was. He ASSUMED I was cancelling a hurricane evacuation. Unbelievable!
