Hostels in IstanbulHostel

This might not be the most renovated or party vibe hostel.

The staff are great, I was always treated with kindness and a generous amount of Turkish tea. Everything is clean, location is great, hot water, fair prices. I would stay here again.

I stayed at Sanat Hostel for 10 days and absolutely loved it! The place is super clean and close to everything. The breakfast is amazing and the view during breakfast is just WOW!

Another stay at this place; we've been there three times. In my opinion, it's the best district in Istanbul; everything is close by, and you can easily reach the most important places by tram.

We loved this location very much. Everyone is very friendly. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast is amazing.

We had such a great stay here. The location is perfect, right by the ferry so getting around Istanbul was super easy. Everything we wanted to see was just a short walk away.

Budget, noisy, and a bit disorganized. The hostel area feels safe overall, but be cautious of scams. The hostel is tiny, just enough for sleeping.

Great location. A lot of cafes, bars and restaurants to your taste. The rooms are smaller than expected.

I was super satisfied with the place. All staff were kind and helpful. Location is great. Room was spacious and comfortable (I stayed 2nights in the female dorm).

This hotel is truly a family-run gem. The owner’s attention to detail is evident everywhere, from the immaculate cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms to the spotless floors on every level.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience here! Good food, super friendly service! I highly recommend staying here.

Denizler's Grill tastes fantastic, affordable and the food is fresh. The little boy is so cute. Worth the kudos.

Absolutely perfect! Owners are great people, and I immediately felt at home there. That’s also due to the design of the house. Stepping into it, it feels like you are in your own home.

A wonderful hotel in an authentic, renovated wooden building. It's in a perfect location, close to everything you need, including the metro to the airport and the ferry port.

We were travelling with a van through Turkiye and really needed a shower. The host of this hostel allowed us to shower here for free. Very friendly!

Quiet. Calm environment. If you really need rest this is the place. I even cooked eggs and no one intervened. Show respect and you will be shown respect.

The breakfast was really good, it had many different items and it tasted good too. Breakfast was at the rooftop and it had a nice atmosphere too. I'm very happy to have stayed here.

First time in Istanbul and booked Agora Guesthouse based on its history of positive reviews and its proximity to the sights.

Best hostel I’ve stayed in Istanbul. Family vibes in a great location near everything. Great breakfast, comfy beds, kitchen, and meeting great people. Thanks guys, I’ll be back!

Everything was 10/10.
A perfect place to enjoy a holiday. We stayed for 7 nights and truly had a great time. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming.

We have been so happy with our stay and the staff has been SO helpful with everything, even creating an intinirary for our stay in Cappadocia (John is very knowledgeable about his hometown!

Oh Cheers, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways — if I can.
This may not be the tidiest hostel in Istanbul (though I happily report no critters).

Everyone here is so kind and wonderful! They give great recommendations, are welcoming, and all around wonderful! I was solo traveling and they made me feel right at home!

Very convenient location and friendly staff. Note that the rooms are not as bright and new as in the pictures and that the breakfast is somewhat basic.

My stay at this hotel was excellent from start to finish.
The cleanliness throughout the entire property was truly impressive, and the rooms were immaculately maintained.

The manager is very kind and helpful.
Fair price at such a good location just 600m to Hagia Sophia.
Room and bathroom is very clean.
Hotel can arrange transport to airport at very good price.

The folks at the reception were very hospitable. The hotel is at a great location too — very safe and streets are lively even late in the night.

To begin with, the location of this hostel was really incredible although it has a bit of an uphill ride or climb.

I stayed at this hotel for 15 days in June, and my experience was wonderful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with any request.

Place, interior, style, location, coziness, friendliness of the staff, included breakfast – this is a place you want to return to again and again.

I liked everything very much, a good hotel, clean. Friendly staff. The hotel is well located, next to a popular pedestrian street, and a bridge to the other side of the bank.

The staff, the staff and the staff, just the best!
Beside, everything was excellent, comfortable and modern rooms, excellent breakfast, good common kitchen and of course the location.

I wish I could have stayed longer! The hosts were so hospitable and lovely.

Staff fantastic, bed is good, Localizacion amazing.

Insider tip in Istanbul. Very good and reasonably priced hotel with very nice hosts. Very central.

The best hostel I stayed in… Nice helper and so kind. Clean place and strategic.

Everything was perfect!
We confidently recommend Sare House!
Surely if we come back to Istanbul we would stay here again!
Thank you!

Beautiful modern apartment in a top location. Close to famous mosques, public transport and the Grand Bazaar.
